He explains things OK to the class but is very fast paced. This class is by far the hardest I have ever taken. His exams are very difficult and unpredictable. He is very knowledgeable and answers questions to your satisfaction, but I'm not sure I would recommend him unless you have a strong biology background or if you are an independent learner.

The person who wrote before is not correct. Microbiolgy is a tough class dr. greene helps you wherever he can. I took his class and got the highest grade in all sections. The class is tough the dude is good

The subject is hard, but he actually teaches it, and teaches it well. Lecture is very clear. Probably one of the best teachers I've had...though he is not lenient.

Prof Greene is a flirt. lol. jk. He's a really great professor, probably the best professor that I've ever had. He really wants you to learn the information, and breaks it down very well. His exams are no surprise. They are tough, but he instructs well so if you do the work, you'll be fine. The lab is the same way. Definitely Recommend.

Come prepard for this instructor. He is very much into teaching you about biology. He does not half step and wants you to learn what he brings to the class.

I had this professor for Bio 155. He is a bit of challenge but as long as you work hard you will be ok. I recommend that you get well aquainted with blackboard because thst is how all the quizzes are administered. His tests are really hard but as long as you do well on everything else it should be fine. Just read and take good notes.

I had the pleasure of taking him and although he was a challenge, he was still fun. He had great charisma and an overall great personality. There was one major request he had...READ!!! Any reading material could be on the tests. Put in the work and you will pass his class.

I have him as a Microbiology professor. While I may not be receiving an A or anything close to one in his class, he is still a great teacher. He's fun and gets you involved in the experiments and WANTS you to learn. You won't pass if you didn't learn. I will be taking this class over and with him as my proff.

I loved this class and found it very interesting. You will work very hard for an A!!! If you do not read the text book then forget about taking this proff. I thought he was great and was really funny! I love how he tells everyone to read and they don't and they wonder why they are failing or seeing him next semester. Great educator, work for your $

Hard teacher, you must do lots of reading to keep up. However, just when you think you are not doing well, he curves the grades. Hated him at first because he is very arrogant, but he grows on you by the end of the semester. I got an A but worked hard for it.

READ AND STUDY and you will pass. Do not mess around or you will fall behind QUICK.He is tough but not impossible. I enjoyed learning from him as he has passion, and that is important.

Dr. Greene's class was not a piece of cake. You had to study on a regular basis. Dr. Greene lectures were informative and usually involved his "sense of humor" lol! but, seriously overall a good no nonsense pro fessor who awards grades by what you earn and he is quite handsome too! Dr. Greene rocks!!!

Extremely hard class, but an excellent professor. He tells you everything you need to know, BUT you MUST read the material in order to pass his tests. Class was never boring, and he will always keeps you on your toes. Would recommend him to serious students.

This is one of the best professors I have ever had. He will explain everything to you in a humours manner. Do exactly what he tells you.He is Student friendly. Take him nomatter what he is well worth the extra gas/milage. I loved him and his class.

Dr. Greene is a cool and a very knowledgeable man. He cracks jokes, is funny, and definitely will make you laugh, BUT he will also fail you at the same time, he wants his students to learn. He is not an easy A, but he offers tons of extra credit. If you do it all, it will boost your grade tremendously. It helped me get an A.

Good instructor, knows his material; if you study and read read read - do all the assignments including extra credit you will pass with an A or B. He does not accept late work. He knows the material and will spend extra time teaching you.

Dr. Greene expects a lot of his students, does not give a study guide, however he lectures on everything you need to know. He is always willing to give help and there was a ton of extra credit. Be prepared to read the text, but if you fail you just didn't try AT ALL

Dr. Greene is a cool professor, he actually lecture you and go over all his notes. The tests are explanatory just study and read. He grade base on what you turned in. He does offer extra credit. He jokes but you will learn.

He is a tough grader but fair. Be sure to do all of the extra credit that is offered to you. You will need to purchase books to have access to extra credit materials. If you study his notes and do all of the extra credit you will get an A. He has high expectations by you can meet them.

Dr. Greene expects a lot but you can do it. He sets the bar high. Extra credit is offered and he gives second chances. Labs are graded hard. Tests are hard but curved. Lots of reading to keep up. Hard but worth it. He'll make you a better student. Class is interactive and fun. Highly reccommend. Very in the loop about research projects.

Hard subject in general no matter what teacher you take. I had so many people tell me NOT to take him and I did anyway. Ended up getting a "B" in his class and was 20points away from an "A". He is really not that bad just do your work and study! Its possible to get a good grade. P.S I took his class and A&P1 at the same time!

If you are preparing for to go further in science he is definitely the person to take! His class will set an excellent foundation to progress in an scientific field. You will pass the class if you read, come to class, and complete your assignments. He provides A LOT of extra credit assignments so there is NO REASON TO FAIL! Buy the books w/ codes!

If you all want to have fun take his class. The class feels like a family. You gotta put a lil extra but whatever you will learn from this class will stay with you life long. He is like more like a father. I am taking him for microbiology next semester, daa best

Dr. Greene was definitely a character. You have lots of opportunities for extra credit, you just have to take your time to do them. The lab reports are a little tedious and he wants them in the format he states. Tests are not super hard, but still up there. Pretty understanding and helpful if you ask him for help. I took Dr. Greene for micro. He was so great! Hilarious, but he made sure we learned the material at the same time. If you cheat, you WILL NOT pass. He knows everything that goes on. He felt like a father, and I had a great understanding of Micro when leaving his class. If i could i would definitely take him again. He genuinely loves his students.

Great professor that offers TONS of extra credit. He changes his mind a lot and gets side-tracked during lecture which is probably my chief (but, only) complaint. He makes it very clear that as long as you read ahead of time and come to lab you will do well.

Great professor and he explains the concepts very clearly and simply. He give you feedback and he is a walking encyclopedia. If you work hard and honestly you will get an A for sure. By the end of semester you will know something for sure about Microbiology.

Great professor! His funny and is very passionate about his class. You have to attend his class and make sure you take good notes. In order to pass this class you have to give it your 100%. He cares about his students and wants you to get your moneys worth. And also, remember, any late homework; DEDUCT!

If you dont put in the work or effort it will reflect. I admit I wasnt too confident at first. The material can be a bit much. This is my first science class in so many years, and this professor is by far the best. Yes this class is difficult but its a very hard course anywhere you go. Read before lectures, come to class with questions, and record if necessary. He is very welcoming with anybody that wants to learn. He is very knowledgeable and educated.

Good Professor actually cares if you learn it's best if you familiarize yourself with the chapter and the materials before class then at least you'll have some kind of understanding in class you MUST TAKE THE TIME TO STUDY if not it will show I had him online and he was very thorough MILK HIM FOR INFO IF YOU CAN he knows his stuff

Dr Greene is one of the best professors Ive ever had in the college. Just get ready to work with him till the end and you wont regret it. The lecture seems so overwhelming in the beginning cos of the work load but keep pushing and youll get there. Be sure to do all the extra credits for a good grade.

Love him!!! He truly makes you work for your grade. He can recognize the students who are truly trying their best, so dont be lazy. Show up, record the lectures, complete the lab assignments and you will pass. You have to try extremely hard to fail. He is amazingly intelligent and will make you laugh. He is harsh but only because he cares!

Dr Greene is a very straight shooter. Whatever guidelines he sets WILL BE FOLLOWED TO THE LETTER. He does care about your grade and is very pleased when students participate and show understanding of the material. Responded promptly to emails, extra credit helps but not much.

Don't let the other reviews scare you off. Prof Green is a good teacher, just expects you to put in the work, so don't go in expecting an easy A. This is what I suggest to do well: Review the study guides DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT Participate in class !! If you put in the effort you will do well!

Come to class prepared and ready to discuss the assigned chapters. His PowerPoints are extremely helpful and he highlights what material is going to be on the exam. NEVER MISS LAB & the CONNECT extra credit will save your grade if you are struggling in the class. He sometimes lets students use a cheat sheet for exams which was pretty cool.

Had him for BIO 155/295 & got an A in both. Great teacher but class is difficult (any micro course is). You have exams every 3 ch. & labs 2x a week. Keys to passing include doing the Connect extra credit HW (this will help you study & 5 pts add up).Review the ch. ppt notes which summarize the textbook reading. Lasting, do the lab reports right away
