I'd say this is a fairly average class. I really liked it that I got to know all of my classmates by the end of the semester... that was a first! I learned a LOT and thought it was very insightful. Hard testing, but worth it!

Prof. Dunn is a strict teacher, but she taught me a lot. the desks are set up like a U in the class so you can see all the other students. You get to know everyone pretty well, that was a lot of fun. But there are tons of presentations!

This class was very intense. Havent cracked the book open from the beginning of class. Lots of very quick req for HW. Presentations and attendance is a must. If you try, you'll do well. There is one F and one A in the class going into finals. Everyone else has a B. Take it. It's worth it!

She is very unapproachable and harsh grader. I didn't pass the class, but can tell you everything we earned and even can show you how to build a website, what the class was all about, but she didn't think I passed?!! Aviod this teacher

Tough grader, high expectations- but learn a lot from her. Everyone a better speaker, get rid of bad habits, try harder, she is very fair--no favorites. Very businesslike, but it's a business class. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning and becoming better speaker in front of people. Don't think she is easy, but fair, smart, funny.

What a semester! EARNED an A in this class. Some students complain about her, but they are usually tweakers and lazy students who are looking for easy way out. Everyone really excellent speakers at end of class and she is fair to those that try--the others are whiners,complainers and don't follow instructions. Great class--great prof! Recommend

shes a tough grader and unclear about what needs to be put into the classe presenations. Otherwise it was fun, and easy. The book is 85 dollars.

She has extremely HIGH expectations. NO excuse will ever work with her. You could literally be on your DEATH BED and she would still expect you to show up and do your presentation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLASS. FAR FAR AWAY.

this class was one of the most most difficult ones i've ever taken but mrs. dunn was one of the best ever. if not for her i would never have been remotely comfortable in front of an audience. this class is vital for anyone who wants a future in business.

Dr.Dunn is tough, no joke, but she is fair. You will learn alot if you go to class, pay attention, and do the homework....I learned a lot from her.

I learned alot in this online class. It is in the first of series in the Virtual Assistant Professional.Dr. Dunn expected alot from us and we had to meet expectations and be as accurate as possible. It took me most of the class to figure out that she was posing as what a client expects and I was the V.A. Clever angle! Work hard and U'll do well.

EXCELLENT TEACHER!! I learned alot in this class, and for the most part, the assignments were very interesting and exciting. Don't get discouraged if she seems harsh at first, just follow her directions, and you'll do great!

She is a professional and expects the same from students. Some students don't get it, but I appreciate her attention to detail.

Interesting teaching style. Students are in front of class presenting so much that you can see them/us/all improving--freaked me out at first, but it works and I really appreciated it after the fact (nerves at first). You will make friends in this class, too. Take Dunn and you get what you need.

This Teacher is very serious and any instructions given by her are meant to be followed. if you dont follow her instructions to a T you will fail. the two faults of this teacher are that she is very disorganized sometimes and that she can be very critical of work sometimes not giving you credit for work you've completed. overall alright teacher.

Taken 2 online courses: BUS 52/55. Professor has high expectations, but prepares you for a tough, real world. She is clear on instructions/expectations; follow them carefully and you will do well. Provides a challenging experience and course material is relevant. She always responded within 2 days to email I've sent her. Work hard, it is rewarding.

Enjoyed class; you really feel confident to speak in front of a group when you leave this class. Sometimes a little impatient when students not prepared, but fair, funny, serious about students being confident speaking in front of class--invaluable learning experience--take class and take Dunn if you want to speak better.

Whew-semester done with Dunn. Learned a lot, hard work, but fun--met some bew friends. Make sure you take right class with her--wish I had taken her other section. My class full of immature, wanna be comedians, thugs, and other class fun and happy. Great experience--she knows what she is doing. students improved a lot.

Can't believe some of the comments--found her helpful and very fair when approached. most students not prepared and it showed when asked to speak in class, but everyone better speakers now because of her style--enroll in this class with her--you will see how much you improve! challenging, but fun.

loved this class--almost dropped in beginning, but glad I stayed. Learned so much about public speaking because teacher constantly asking students to participate and we all got better. can't understand negative comments, but everyone has an opinion or maybe they didn't try or are negative anyway. Professor Dunn is an excellent professor. She clearly states course expectations, grades fairly and gives lots of helpful and positive feedback. Honestly I was nervous to take the class but I am so glad I did! I would definitely recommend this professor and class!

Can't believe it's over and I made an A. A little bit of struggle but I have much more confidence in ability to speak in front of people. She can be tough sometimes, but funny and fair--though some students didn't get her because they want easy teacher. Enjoyed the pressure (sometimes) and my confidence now is visible at work. Made it through this great class with a new respect for business or public speaking. Lots of practice in class. Dr. Dunn is hard but the difference in students presentations from beginning of class to final is amazing to see. her style is a little different but results are easy to see. Class over!!! Yes. but I can speak so easily in front of other people at work,in front of other classes, and happy it's over but happy I had dr. Dunn. She is a little corporate like but knows her stuff--thank you dr. Dunn for some confidence--you rock most of the time. :-)))

When I first started this class, I was very annoyed at the lack of clarity. However, after a few weeks, it got much better. Though it doesn't appear so at first, this professor does care. The class is a little difficult and she is pretty strict, but you get a lot out of it if you put in the effort. Trust me, it is worth it.

Good teacher knows her stuff and was very supportive and professional. I learned a great deal about VOP profession and it helped me decide my career path. Great Teacher, hard as nails. The truth is if you do the assignments exactly as outlined you'll get 100% in the class. If you mess up in certain ways you'll loose huge chunks of your grade. For example, one assignment had this requirement in it; One (1) full page minimum and maximum—no more no less (75% deducted for not meeting this requirement)

Dr. Dunn has high expectations, but only serious students can appreciate her and do. All others don't really care. I saw students become pro speakers--it was amazing. I feel so confident now--don't pay attention to those other students--they didn't try or care or attend. I did and so did many others--her system works if you try. Thanks, doc :-)

I got so much outta class. I can speak in front of people easier because of the class and style of prof. Prof is tough but everyone left in the class was so much better speaker and that is what class was for, right? Recommend class and prof if you want to be a better speaker in front of people.

I truly enjoyed this course. It wasn't what I thought it was in the beginning, but it turned out to be something I can fall back on if my big picture doesn't work out. It was hard to limit myself to her normal 1 page max papers, but that taught me how to be more concise. If I get the chance I will take her other business course as well.

Don't take this class if you're looking for an easy grade or a sensitive professor or not good wattendance. She's tough, she lays out the expectations up front. DO NOT, and I really mean it, DO NOT be under or go over the time specified for your speeches. You will lose 50% of your assignment points. It's a good class if you make the effort.

Dr. Dunn is a no-bones, demanding and inspirational instructor. The assignments and content, although inherited from the regular professor at the college, were delivered with clarity and humor. There is no allowance for meek, shy personalities, as would make sense since these traits do not fare well in the real working world. Highly recommended

Students expected to be prepared for class & not waste time of other students but they usually aren't. She doesn't humiliate them; they humiliate themselves by not being prepared. Can be impatient with those not prepared, but I don't blame her--neither am I or are the other serious students. Love the class and her teaching style. Take her class.

Just finished this class, boy was it interesting. The prof had the best feedback I ever got in an online class. She personalized my feedback and made me feel special--motivating. Requirements clear so no guessing. I got an A and learned a lot. Take this class and professor--recommend this to anyone that does the work and wants to learn.

I really liked Professor Dunn's class. I took online international business. At the beginning of the year she laid out the structure (one discussion board post, with one reply, and one written assignment every week). I would say not a lot of work at all, just stay on top of it. She gives really good feedback on every assignment too.

I put in very minimal effort into this course and passed with a B. Course conosistes of weekly discussion boards (and response), weekly assignement, and quizzes after each chapter. Very easy grader as long as you put some work into your assignments and always gives positive feedback.

Honestly I think this was the easiest class I have ever taken. It may have been a summer class but I did almost none of the work and still got an A+. I googled the majority of the answers for exams, never did the readings, and still was told after every assignment wow! Amazing work! Truly set a new bar for the class. I have no idea how I did that

Great professor. Took her online class this summer. Assignments and tests werent too difficult if you read the material. Gave great feedback after every submission. Enjoyed taking this class 10/10 would recommend. Also selling the book for this class for cheap for $50 type in understanding business on Craigslist.

I took her online class, and her lecture notes and powerpoint slides provided are so detailed you do not need to purchase the textbook (I didn't). I recommend taking written notes on both the lecture notes and PP slides side by side to get a good grade. The hw is not horrible, just do not forget to say you used the textbook as a source!

I appreciated her feedback on every assignment. You never had to wonder why you received the grade you did. I took an online international business practices course from her and loved it. Make sure you read all of the assignment details.

Definitely learned a lot in this class and made me think about the world a little bit differently. The textbook "Understanding Business" is actually really easy to read. All quizzes are straight from the book and homework assignments are discussions, which are easy, and assignments, which are a little more time consuming but not difficult.

Very straight forward professor. Being my first online class, she made the assignments very clear and how to submit. Discussion boards almost every week. She gave positive feedback on assignments, and was a quick grader. Would take another class from her again in the future.

She is one of my favorite teachers so far. Though I have not met her this fall 2020 because of online classes, she caring and the best teacher for business 20. You have to do the reading asgnmnts, video case, DBs. She gives the best feedback I have ever had in these online transitions. Replies to the emails really soon. TAKE HER really recommended!

Dunn is a great teacher. She gives fun assignments and the quizzes are fairly easy to complete as long as you know the material. The topics are interesting and engaging. She gives great and encouraging feedback as well!

Prof.Dunn was a very nice professor who cares about her students work. She leaves nice feedback and motivating messages. She has one written assignment and one DB each week which is easy to complete if you look over the lecture. Everything is straightforward and the quizzes are also fairly easy.

Professor Dunn gives great feedback and gives you kind messages about the work you submit. The class is one of the easiest classes I have taken.

Professor Dunn was great throughout International Business. Light work load; on average on discussion board and one writing assignment. Left kind and uplifting messages, very clear understanding what to expect. Very interesting content, gave students leeway to research countries and markets they found interest in.

From what I remember, she was a very easy grader; you can use AI for discussions, and the quizzes are Googleable. She gives amazing feedback on assignments and is always kind. The final is 40 MCQ easy; you can probably google the questions and get 100%. Easy A overall.
