Loved her! Dedicated to her students' success & understanding of the material. As long as you keep up with the homeworks & material you should be fine. Don't be afraid to use the math lab for extra practice. Offers extra credit at the end of the quarter. As long as you stay organized and up to date you will succeed. Also has a great sense of humor.

Great teacher. Not a class to slack off in totally your responsibility to keep up, do your home work. Professor will help and give all resources necessary but you must keep up.

the class was fairly easy based off of how in depth mrs.alexandre goes with her students. she takes time to make sure everyone understands the criteria on all levels of comprehension. the guided notes are a major plus, they make everything crystal clear!

Professor Alexandre is a GREAT Instructor. STATISTICS IS A HARD Subject but she explains everything to her students so that they can understand it. Definitely take good notes during her lectures/chapter and do your homework. if you need help use the Math lab but you can also ask her for help at the end of class. TI83/84 Graphing cal is needed.

She is an awesome teacher, very sweet, always helpful and fair (especially with her tests). It is a Statistics course so you must study, but you might as well study with a teacher who gives you good notes, tests fairly, and isn't out to fail you. :-)

Professor Alexandre is awesome! I'll admit I got a C in this class, but its b/c I'm bad in math. She is a powerpoint teacher which can be tough and she doesn't like to go over problems in class. But she will help you after class or during office hrs. Builds extra credit in tests for an automatic curve, which is great! Very funny and easy going.

Professor Alexandre is a great. She gives extra credit through the homework assignments which is super easy and she uses power points as her lecture. She gives you printed notes instead of the old fashioned notebook paper notes. I recommend to take her. If I could have her again I would. Not to mention she's absolutely hilarious.

AMAZING professor, the best Math teacher I've had. Took her MAT1033C class, got an easy A, I had to take her College Algebra class. Very clear PowerPoint teaching and the printed notes are very helpful, you will learn a lot. Show up to class, do the work and you will pass. I definitely recommend Professor Alexandre and would take her class again.

I really love this math professor! Professor Alexandre is very funny and has a sense of humor. Her lectures in Liberal Arts Math are very good, you get a notes handout and she always uses powerpoint. Her tests are mostly multiple choice and her homework is usually the My Math Lab. I recommend this professor if you want to take math courses.

Professor Alexandre isn't a bad teacher, but she does tend to go fast, so make sure to stop her and ask questions or else she'll move on. I've learned that going to her one on one is much more affective than going to the tutoring lab. She genuinely cares and will help you if you put in the effort. I suck at math, but she's not so bad.

I took her for college algebra and statistics, and she is awesome. She teaches from powerpoint and she gives you handouts so you don't have buy the book. I personally think shes a great professor, I got an A in both classes. Her class isn't hard, you need to put work in, in order to pass. She gives out homework online, those hw lessons r great!!!

Good teacher! If learning from power point isn't for you. Do not take this class. She moves fast while teaching but if you have a question just ask and she will answer it for you. She can be a little confusing at times but I do love how she gives you hand outs to study from which are very helpful. Make sure to do Mathlab! It is very helpful.

Great Professor. I would recommend anyone to take her. she will push you to become a better student, if you really want an A in her class I suggest that you sit up front and never MISS class

So-so. She kinda takes a step back in teaching, so she'll make you try to understand before she helps. Which is fine, but not for people who have trouble in math. Other than that her class is pretty much straight-forward. If math is easy for then I would take her class, but if you have problems in it then I would think twice.

Great teacher ! She's really nice and funny. She teaches directly of PowerPoint only downside but for me I didn't have a problem with it. Definitely recommend her !

Shes a great teacher ONLY IF you pay attention. She answers questions if asked. very intimidating at times, but friendly other times. She gives you the whole week to do 40-60 problems from 2 different chapters, so if you sit down and do it all at one time it wont take long. all homework is online. she moves fast, we got out 15 min early every time.

Professor Alexandre is a "power point professor," as she describes herself. She is funny and tries to connect math with real life problems. You don't really need the textbook and all the hw is online. She gives you notes to fill in in class. There are only 4 tests which are just like the problems explained in class. I'm taking her again for STA2023

She made Statistics real to the class and had really good tips on how to remember the material. Don't be late to class. Her printed notes go along with powerpoints, which makes taking notes easy. I wish she was teaching the rest of my math classes. Great Professor!

If you want to learn the math, she is great! Easy to understand and has reviews online for each test. Her notes are very organized. Extra credit is given too. Nice Lady.

Used PowerPoint to teach us each lesson but they were really well put together and clear, handed out notes for us and gave a ton of extra credit opportunities for the tests.

She teaches with power points which were very clear and organized. She gives SO much extra credit so make sure you do them. Her tests are fairly easy, and her final cumulative test had 33 questions and it was all multiple choice. Do NOT buy the textbook if taking Intermediate Algebra! She said we would use it but we never did!

She uses powerpoint, is very clear, and she'll explain if you didn't understand. Gives a lot of extra credit. Doesn't use the book so don't bother getting it, you'll only need the Mymathlab acces code. You can easily pass by paying attention, attend every class on time, and doing the work. i'm gladly taking her again for MAC1105.

Ive never been good at math but i decided to take her over the summer for a 6 week class and it was the best choice ever she really cares and her handouts really ensure success one of the best math teachers at pbsc its a shame people have rated her poorly due to their inability to put a little effort in.

Amazing professor. She presented the material in a very clear, concise way that was easy for me to understand. 4 tests and then the final. All the homework is on MyMathLab due the first class of every week. Test reviews for extra credit too. If you don't understand algebra very well, I would implore you take her because she is a great instructor.

Professor Alexandre lectures in a clear way, she checks for understanding and is well knowledgeable. Be prepare to do assignments in mymathslab, she will make time to clarify any topic that may not be clear and she is extremely understanding. Couldn't find a better maths teacher!

Amazing teacher! She could teach a group of first graders! Only 4 tests the whole semester and a final exam. Very easy to understand the material, you don't need the textbook, only the access code. I highly recommend this teacher! She uses PowerPoint to explain topics and gives print out worksheets, so no need to write everything.

Tough, but fair. She gives a lot of homework and that combats how difficult the tests can sometimes be. She's a powerpoint lecture math teacher, which is a little difficult, but 75% of the tests are multiple choice so that makes up for it. She's a kind, fair person and was very straightforward. I'd take her again.

Great professor. Easy A if you put in the effort. Plenty of extra credit given through out the semester. Final grade is made up of mml homework, test and final. If you ask a question in class she never puts you down for asking. Very easy to get a hold of outside of class.

She is one of the best math teachers I have ever taken. Gives fill in notes almost every class. Show up and pay attention and you'll easily get an A. She gives plenty of time for her homework to be turned in. She uses math lab and her tests pretty straight forward if you try to learn.

I maintained almost a perfect A the whole semester. She does use math lab for homework, however she encourages all the students to see her during office hours if they have any questions. She also does use powerpoints to teach, however if there are questions she allows you to ask, but the worksheets given in class have multiple examples to practice.

Best math teacher ever! Never taken stats before and she makes it so easy! Textbook isn't used, only the access code for MML. She gives PPT fill in handout notes with tons of examples. 4 tests and a final exam. Do the review on MML for 5 extra credit points on the test. She's nice, just don't be on your phone or talk during class. Would recommend!

My first online math class experience and it is Awesome! She has great lecture videos and fill in the blank notes that are so simple to understand. She will help you on Zoom without making you feel dumb. You have homework on MathLab every week and test reviews which help a lot. One of the best at PBSC!

I took this course before and failed with a different Pro. I would recommend you take this Pro. she is very funny, make sure that everyone is understanding the lesson, will go back and explain if needed and give extra credit. Make sure you attend class, do all h/w, and past the testes.

This professor made a class that I was not too thrilled to be taking enjoyable. She responded quickly and kindly to all messages. She was truly a wonderful professor and I thoroughly enjoyed taking this course with her. Do the work and you will pass. I would definitely recommend Professor Alexandre.

You'll most likely need to print out the current day lecture worksheet in order to follow along in class when she's teaching. She relies on mathlab for homework & test so if you don't mind learning through that this class shouldn't be too hard. You take the test at home so if you ever get stuck use your resources like past homeworks and mathway

I have to say I am really bad at math. This course was a breeze. Most of the work is on MyMathLab. There are a few discussions that need to be answered and commented to others. Because this course was fully online I found myself with her modules on one side of my screen and the work on the other. YouTube helped. I would take her again, easy A.

She is an amazing professor! She might come off as tough when the semester begins but she really cares for her students so if you take the course, don't be afraid to ask questions! Homework and lessons always correlate.

This professor was great. Ask/ answer questions when needed it helps. Make a contact friend just in case you miss class (try not to, it's math) Also gives extra credit if u get a 70 on the reviews. Don't procrastinate because if you submit after 11:59 it's a 0. (Will give extensions for emergencies) attendance is a participation grade.

Everything is done on my stat lab which was easy for me because youtube has so many helpful videos on how to do the same exact questions but with different numbers. 2-3 assignments on my stat lab a week and a discussion to do once a month, which was honestly done in 1-3 hours. Lockdown browser for tests but no webcam. I would definitely recommend

This class was fairly easy. She provided a discussion for each chapter. She just offered 2-3 assignments per week on my mathlab, therefore the workload wasn't excessive. She also provided easy quizzes for each chapter. She replaces your lower test score with the final exam and tests are lockdown browser, no webcam. You should take her for Stat!

If you good in stats and with math overall, you should take this class. But if you want a free math class, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this class as the end of the course gets a little more challenging. Yes the test are in lockdown but doesn't need camera. She gives quite a lot of extra credit but of course its test heavy

Professor Alexandre's STA2023 class is a good option if you're comfortable with math. While the course content can be challenging, she provides helpful resources like extra credit and tools like unstuck study to support student success. Overall, a manageable class with an attentive professor.

Professor Alexandre is very kind and willing to help. There are a lot of assignments but it is spaced out very well. Usually only 2-3 homeworks per week & quizzes/tests sprinkled in. There is extra credit as well which helps a lot. There is a discussion every few weeks which has pretty strict deadlines and guidelines. Easy A if you do the work.

Professor Alexandre was a simple professor. Her assignments are clear and organized. She gives ample amount of time to finish each chapter. She does give extra credit opportunities. I would recommend this professor.

The only way you can fail is if you don't put in any effort at all. She offers guided notes with videos and PowerPoints, which are very helpful. The homework is pretty simple and straightforward. A textbook is offered, but you don't really need it for the class.
