Mrs.Drake is probably one of the best professors that I have had while attending Delta. She is very interesting and has many enthusiastic ways of teaching things, she keeps you laughing and on your toes, and what she will say next,nobody knows=) I highyly suggest takeing her if you need a Bio class!!!!!!!

This semester has been pretty confusing. Cynthia is a great teacher and all, but after she found out she was pregnant, things went down hill. She was hospitalized and we had a 2 diff subs for a month. She is funny and tries to keep the class going, but the switcharoo thing can screw up a persons concentration because diff teachers teach diff ways.

Cindy is a great instructor however you must earn your own grade. This class is not easy but she will do anything to help you understand the material. Great instructor just be prepared to work. Anatomy and Physiology is not an easy subject.

The woman knows her stuff and in terms of what you need to know, she doesn't make you learn stuff you are not going to need later. She continually reminds you of what the health care programs have stressed for its future employees to know. Also, she is very encouraging. However, do the work and study, study, study! Attend class and keep focused.

Cynthia is a great teacher! I learned alot from her class! She is very good at getting the material across to you in a way that you WILL understand. She is always available if you need extra help. She makes class fun with her quirky humor. She also stresses the things you are expected to know beyond her class. I would reccommend her to anyone!

I have got to say, she was an amazing teacher, never have I liked a teacher this much. I learned way more than I ever did in any of my high school science courses. She's good at what she does. She makes the learning fun, but she's also determined for you to understand it well and good. I had Prof. Drake only occasionally, as the class was shared w/ another prof. She's pretty perfect, folks - one of Delta's finest. Very engaging style - an excellent speaker & teacher. Makes complicated material digestible through use of humor & analogies. Do not hesitate to sign up for any class with her.

If you have to take Anatomy...take it with Cynthia! The class is tough but if you attend class you will learn all the information you need to pass the tests. I would definitely recommend her!!!!!

best instructor i've had at delta byfar! she actually makes learning A&P enjoyable, and she is very helpful. a little homework, decent exams, and if you know your material then you should ace them every time. if available, i would take her bio-140 two hours a day mon-thurs, it seems silly, but it was really beneficial. overall, AMAZING INSTRUCTOR!!

by far my favorite professor at delta! she makes A&P enjoyable and interesting. not a ton of homework, and exams are a breeze if you know your material. i wouldnt recommend anyone else for BIO 140. and if you can, take her mon-thurs 2hrs a day, it may sound silly, but it was really beneficial rather than sitting in class for 4hrs. overall, AMAZING!

Professor Drake is by far one of if not the best Bio teacher at Delta. Even in the early morning class she does her best to keep the class motivated and interested in the subject matter. I recommend her to anyone especially bio majors.

I have taken classes at a big university and here at Delta. She is by far the best teacher I have EVER come across! She makes the material fun and easy to learn. Homework is an easy A as long as you do it. Tests are straightforward (all in the notes, homework, and objectives) so no surprises on tests. Oh and she gives lots of extra credit! :)

Excellent Teacher!!! She makes real life examples that college students can relate to. She answers questions, involves the class in discussions, has interactive games to get students involved and learning. Held extra study sessions when learning bones and muscles to make sure students had ample access to learn the material

She is an AMAZING teacher! This is a BIO class though so you do need to put in the time and effort but she wants to see you succeed and gives you all the tools necessary to get yourself there! Drake is THE BEST you can find at Delta. She geniunely cares if you succeed in the class or not, and she will explain things a different way if you don't get it. She is a very visual teacher (draws lots of pictures) and I would without a doubt take any of her classes again.

Drake is one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. She plethora of knowledge is helpful and her quirks make the lessons fun and entertaining. I highly recommend taking a class with her. Be sure to come to class on time though, quizzes are always done early in the lesson.

She's got great teaching methods, loves quoting 80's references and has "silencers" on her guns! I'd recommend her to any student. She teaches you what to know and it's up to you to do the rest. She'd never lead you down the wrong path. Don't be afraid to ask questions. That's why we're students. Tests every week, but don't be scared, it's better!

Does questions of the day to wake students up and get them talking about things besides class, tests are easy if you STUDY and take notes, talks about interesting things related to anatomybiology that don't pertain to class, tells the best jokes! Do homework, show up to class, take notes, study, you'll do fine.

Cindy is the best! Her class was hard; homework almost every night and a quiz almost every day (b/c the class was accelerated) but I learned SO much. She has a knack for breaking down very complex things into bits that are simple to understand which was great for physiology topics. I wish she could be my teacher for all science credits.

If you study hard and stay on top of things you will do very well in the class. I would not suggest skipping a class because she teaches so much in one class period!

Drake is an awesome teacher. She always uses personal stories and analogies to help you understand better. Easy to approach if you have a question or an issue. There is quite a bit of homework and frequent tests.

She takes a real interest in the material and has fantastic analogies and study strategies to make the material more digestible. If you aren't planning to take the class seriously, find someone else, but if you show up and do the work there is no reason you shouldn't pass.

The best professor I have ever had. Mrs. Drake is funny during lecture, genuinely cares for her students, and gives students a lot of chances to succeed. I am not one to normally write reviews, but her class was stellar. Expect a lot of quizzes and exams, but it is a good thing. She spreads out material so you don't fail one and bomb the class.

Taking Mrs. Drake's accelerated A&P class was a pleasure. She is a great instructor, who cares about her students, and is passionate about the subject. Her class is a hard A, easy B. She makes you work for it. Lab partners, and studying are very important. BIO-140W is an accelerated course (Be Aware). Her personality makes her a solid 12 out of 10!

Do yourself a favor, take her as your teacher!

I would 100% recommend this class to everyone. She is very caring and really wants her students to succeed. She will email you if there are concerns about your grade, etc. She uses great analogies and helps you learn better. She actually taught me how to study efficiently. If only more professors were like her life would be golden.

It is possible for you to pass this class, even though it is a test heavy class. If you take good notes, and try her study tips, you should pass the class. She is funny and willing to help you learn.

Take good notes, ask good questions and STUDY YOUR O&Os that she gives you. Its a hard class, but if you work hard, its passable. She offers a good amount of extra credit. Shes also hilarious and gives good analogies to help people understand.

If you want to pass this class on the first attempt I would strongly recommend taking Cindy's class! She's great and uses real life situations to break down the complicated topics. She's personable and always willing to help. She has a passion for biology and wants her student's to succeed. Do the online homework and study the O and Os.

Cynthia can explain hard to understand things like no other. Between relatable analogies and examples, there is NO WAY you wouldn't be able to comprehend the lecture.

She gives you everything you need to know! She tells you what is going to be on the tests and she does her best to set you up for success. You just have to study & attend class. Do all the homework & extra credit because it really helps by the end of the semester. She is a greater lecturer for a 4-hour class. STUDY the objectives & questions!

She is a funny and caring, She is very organized and each topic is separated and explained well. She is very helpful with responding back quickly when we need help. She gives great reminders and encourage us to do our best.

I took Professor Drakes class two times. The second time Im happy today say I did much better. This class is very demanding , I suggest taking it alone in the spring , or only with one other class during the winter , or fall. Tests mirror the Objectives , with clear criteria for what you need to know , USE THE CONTENT tab, and youll be golden.

I love love love Professor Drake. She is hard, and if you don't put in at least 100% effort then you won't fare well. I recommend having a printer for this class. She does lectures that are extremely beneficial. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE THE PRACTICALS. She is always quick to respond and for an online course of this nature she rocked it.

I adored Prof. Drake! This is a very learning intensive class but she makes it fun to learn the material and tries to offer multiple routes to learn the info and lots of supplemental resources. She clearly lays out learning objectives and gives you the short answer essay questions ahead of time. If you pay attention to those, you're golden!

Read the highlighted portions of the online textbook, and use that to answer the questions down below. Watch the powerpoint lectures and study the notes to do well on the tests. Do diagram sheets to study anatomy well. Overall, good teacher!

I absolutely love Prof. Drake. She takes an extremely tough subject, and makes it so easy to learn. You can tell that she genuinely cares for her students. The only negative thing that I have to say about her, is that she doesn't teach BIO153. I am truly going to miss her after this semester.

You want this professor! She provides pre typed notes for us to use, gives us questions that will be on the test to study, provides amazing lecture videos, a lot of practice tests & extra credit. However, this class is very rigorous & tough! Tests & hw due every week, lots of material to learn. If you make time & put the effort in, you'll pass.

Professor Drake was great! She was quick to respond and graded tests within a couple of days. Short Answer questions were given ahead of time, test practices for the lab exams, and make sure to follow her O & O sheet for tests! This was a difficult class and required LOTS of studying. Probably as good as you can get for such a tough class.

Overall a great professor. This is a very difficult class that is very content-heavy. You really have to apply yourself. She could be more clearer on what to expect on the test. She gives an opportunity for extra credit through a paper and on about every test.

Professor Drake provides a lot of awesome resources and creates great lecture videos with drawings and analogies! This is a content heavy course, but as long as you watch the lecture videos, follow the O&Os, and practice short answer questions, you'll be successful. You will use lockdown for testing, but it won't be an issue as long as you study!

If you struggle with anatomy and physiology, please take this professor! Professor Drake is so caring and teaches the material in a way that is clear and enjoyable. There is plenty of extra credit to earn, and you will come out of her class feeling accomplished and respected. I will always recommend her as a professor from here on out.

Professor Dake was absolutely AMAZING! She taught in a way that kept you intrigued even if you take the class online. She was quick to respond to my questions and truly left the impression that she cared about your success in her class! Multiple extra credit assignments offered. As long as you do you put the effort in you'll get the grade you want!

I was hesitant about taking an anatomy class online, but felt I still got an enriching experience with her. Content-heavy course, as expected. Class can be time-consuming as it's mostly memorization. Tests were relevant and straight forward, she also provides a review kahoot before each class.

Cindy was a great professor for online BIO. Her lectures were super informational and she related things to real life situations. Practicals were not hard as long as you put in the time for study and spelling. She offered extra credit and you work on your final paper all semester so procrastination wasn't possible. I LOVED her.

She's amazing, she provides so many resources and lectures videos for you to pass her class. She does recommend a lockdown browser w/camera, and for the quizzes/exams there are two attempts. Do not hesitate to take her, spots will fill up fast. There no reason why you shouldn't pass, and she provides a free textbook/extra credit. I just love her :)
