She is a very, very friendly professor. She is easy to understand. You dont need a textbook in here; she has powerpoint slides prepared for you. She will give u handouts that contain the material that r going to be on her exam.

I loved Professor Enslen (previously Savage)! She is hilarious and made Speech fun and not scary! She grades you on your speeches very fairly & easy. Attainable A if you just show up for your Speeches. There are only 3 speeches, 1 - About Your Self, 2 - Informative Speech, and 3 - Symposium Presentation (group of 3-6 and present persuasive topic).

Prof. Enslen is the best at Edison! She makes speech, a class I wasn't looking forward to, easy and fun. She's also a super nice person who obviously loves teaching and her students. I had so much fun, this class was my favorite of the year! She grades speeches easily, make sure you show up for classes and you're sure to get a good grade. Great!

AWESOME Professor. She was always understanding and never Pushy. I dreaded speeches but she tried everything to help you with any "fright" you might have. She was willing to go the extra mile and then some!

Warning: She talks ALOT! but she's a speech teacher so expect it. She is so nice though, she brings in personal points which totally makes the class conversational rather than lecture-ish. This, was my favorite class of ALL time. Professor "CJ" loves what she does. You will pass this class if your active in it. Come in with a good mood, and do all the assignments. Easiest class by far. Get that A!

Prof. Enslen is delightful. She is very positive and energetic. She keeps her lectures short and sweet and keeps the class involved. I'm deathly fearful of public speaking, but she used class warm-ups to break the tension. Her texts are based from the textbook, study the vocabulary!

Prof. Enslen is a true gem at ESC. She makes the material very easy to understand, utilizes group work well and ensures all students understand what is expected. Unlike many professors, this professor seems genuinely concerned about the progress of her students. She is extremely encouraging and helpful. You do have to fully read the text materials to pass the quizzes but all the papers and essays are quite simple. Easy class, awesome professor! I wish I could have her for ALL my classes at Edison.

What a truly wonderful woman! Had a fear of speaking and she helped us get over it! We felt like one big family by the end of class. We did impromptu (3-5min), Informative on our career goals (6-8min), and a final speech about something we learned in class (3-4min). 3 tests, our first was take home, the others in class. Open Book. TAKE THIS CLASS!

Mrs Enslen is an excellent teacher. She has very good communication skills and her assignments can be completed without killing yourself. She is very understanding and I would definitely recommend her. I hated the idea of speech online but she made it worth while!

This professor Rocks!!! She is very clear on grading, gives great feedback, and lets you do your Speeches on a topic of your choice. Gives 9 quizes, 1 group project, 3 Speeches, and journals & Discussions. No Midterm, No final. Do your work, turn in on time, meet the rubric requirements, and you will easily pass with a A.

Professor Enslen was very helpful and kind. She cared about the success of her students and even sent out reminders if an assignment wasn't completed. There are three speeches, several online quizzes, and one test (the final). For every speech, she gave great feedback and didn't grade too harshly. I would highly recommend this class!

Professor Enslen is amazing! She answers emails FAST (usually always same day, even if in the late evening). She grades fairly and is SO helpful and encouraging. Would recommend her to anyone and I wish I could take her for every class!!

Professor Enslen is the best teacher at FSW. She is so hilarious, even when she doesn't try to be she would always make me laugh. Quizzes are online and lets you work on midterm with a group of 3 or 4. 3 speeches and one is a group speech about a specific topic from the book. The sweetest lady EVER. I took her online but made an effort to meet with her at the school once to get clarification on something. If you mess up, she gives you a second chance. Especially with our group project. If you have to take a public speaking class, take her!

Professor Enslen was one of those teachers that actually makes a real impact on your life. Just graduated from FSW and i went out of my way to take her in as many classes as possible. She's a great teacher and person and is very willing to help you no matter the matter. Take her at all costs, she keeps classes fun and entreating while worthwhile.

Professor Enslen was honestly a great professor! Her class was insanely easy especially if you're already comfortable with speaking in front of people. Attendance was worth 5% which is a joke and quizzes were easy. Speaking in front of people is the hardest thing you'll do in this class. Great lady with a cute personality! Highly recommend.

Professor Enslen changed the way I look at public speaking. If you struggle with anxiety, I promise you that she is BEST possible person to take. She is extremely caring and will help you through it! That being said, her class is a pretty easy A. Only two individual speeches and they are easy with all the preparation tools she gives you!

You only have two speeches in the class and all of the quizzes are online and they're all basically common sense. She's great!

Professor Enslen is the best professor for speech if you are nervous or anxious about speaking in front of groups. She gives clear directions, and listens to feedback given by her students. I didn't use my textbook, and many of my classmates didn't either. All tests were done online and were open book. Amazing professor!!

Professor Enslen is one of the best professors at FSW. I took this class online and it was manageable. She responds to emails, questions, and has clear expectations. She is super sweet as well! There is a group project towards the end, but it is nothing to steer you away from taking this class. Highly recommend, especially if needed to take online!

Best professor I have ever taken here at FSW! She is so sweet and caring. She has plenty of assignments so you are able to keep your grade up, nothing too hard to do. You do 2 speeches which she guides you the entire way all the way up to your presentation day so you are fully prepared. She also offers extra credit work. 10/10 recommend!

I took my speech class with professor Enslen, she was very helpful and fast at responding at emails. I took the class online, so I didn't have the chance to meet her in person, so the only way I could talk to her was via canvas. But that was no problem, because she answered my questions almost immediately.

She is an amazing and caring professor. The textbook is online and you will have to read when doing the assignments. There are writing journal assignments to do every week, but they are short and easy. The only reason you may have a bad grade is if you don't do your work, other than that is an easy A. There is a final group and individual project.
