Great teacher!

the best teacher ever

One of the best teachers I have ever had. She gives you ample opportunities to ask questions in order to ensure you understand the material. She even allowed us to take a class vote on whether or not we would have assigned homework.

Liked very much, whenever something wasn't clear, even during test, she would clarify. Gave points back on tests, so she was very fair. Sometimes she was to fair. She gave take home quizes that help A LOT!!! I suggest taking her.

She was a pretty fun teacher throughout the semester, until the last day-she totally lost it and she showed the side of her that comes out when she can't control everything to a T. A super-easy class, probably the easiest I've ever taken, high school was harder. Somewhat interesting.

Great teacher; probably the best for this subject. Very friendly and easy to get along with. She may not lecture out of the book, but she covers the concepts and get the class involved. Besides, we're adults and should be accountable for the info in the book, after all, it is the homework.

all you gotta do is some stusies for tests. the rest!?just hop on her ride, and enjoy listening or sleeping her class!

She is an awesome teacher! I think the people that said bad things about her are just mad they didn't do well on the tests. She took a class I wasn't sure about at first and turned it into one of my best experiences at PCC.

Super nice! I have to admit however, spends too much time lecturing on irr-relevent material and answering questions from students in class that are irr-relevent to what we need to be learning. Doesn't really lecture along with the chapters being read. SUPER NICE THOUGH! Would still take her again

Very friendly and helpful. Listens to what students have to say and includes everyone in class discussions. Knows the material well and is very fair. If you read the chapters and come to lecture you will do fine. Goes off on a tangent every once in a while but otherwise a great teacher.

Great teacher. I highly recommend her. She's the only PSY teacher I've had, but I bet she's the best one at PCC :) Fun class too.

I liked Cynthia a lot. She was very helpful. Some people thought her test were hard, but as long as you read the material and studies you were guaranteed a good grades. Chapters to read outside of the class, but she gives you plenty of time to study. I reccomend Cynthia, she is a really fun instructor to have.

My first college class ever was with her and I loved it! She loves what she does, is very helpful and nice, and really makes coming to class interesting.

She was a great teacher. Her assignments were easy and I learned alot. She was very nice and helpful and you understood what she was talking about. The class would go on tangents but it didn't matter.

Miss Cynthia was extremely nice and took into account the personal struggles that every student had. She gave you many options and was very helpful and made sure that we understood the information that was given. I wouldn't mind taking another class from her if only she worked at cascade rather than sylvania :-).

I adore Cynthia! I look forward to her class every day (then again, what college student DOESN'T have some level of interest in sex?) and the atmosphere she creates in her classroom is comfortable, relaxed, and - most importantly - confidential. Cynthia prompts students to speak their minds and doesn't hesitate to do so herself! Highly recommended.

Cynthia makes the classroom a relaxed atmosphere. Open to any question you might ask and very pleasant. I looked forward to going to her classes and would definately recommend her! I would take her again, no doubt! :)

Loved her class, I always wanted to come. she made it fun! Had to do a lot of studying on your own- but ussually got to bring a notecard for tests. She is also very willing to work with you on any homework or test. Understands you have a life and really wants you to get a good grade. Makes class relate to life.

Great teacher. Lots of guest speakers. Tests are a tad hard but if you do all the required reading you'll get an A.

Wow! What an amazing teacher. I wasn't real hip on taking the PSY 101 but, I can honestly say that she was one of the best teachers I had this term. I would take her classes all the time if I could. She's very fair on tests and allows as many open notes that you can take to help with the tests as well.

She is a great teacher. VERY willing to work with you on taking tests. We didn't have any homework, just 5 tests and were able to bring notes. The tests weren't too hard. Like coming to class, she made it very interesting.

Every test is multiple choice. If you study four hours before each one of the four test, you'll most likely get an "A". Some people showed up without studying and got a "B". Easy going class and teacher. Highly recommended.

She is an awesome teacher, and keeps the class very open for discussion. Human sexuality is a very good class, and is based only on tests and class participation. She makes the class easy, but you also learn alot. She is really nice and i would highly recomend her for any class she teaches!!

She is a great teacher! Very helpful and willing to work with you. Definitely try her out for any psych class she teaches. You won't be disappointed.

You know you've got a great teacher when not once do you glance at the clock during a lecture. Absolutely love her!

really fun really easy...no homework, grade based mostly on test scores, (and she drops questions she sees that most of the people got wrong) lots of fun extra credit assighnments available. always available for help and always answers e-mail quickly.

She is a great teacher. I look forward to taking as many of her classes that I can. Psy 231 is a fun class, it should be mandatory for everyone to take it with her.

She was very nice. Teaches this class very well. You must come most of the time to learn the information on the test. Fun class if you pay attention!

I would highly recommend this professor to anyone and everyone! Her classes are always very interesting and entertaining. She's extremely smart, fair, and very helpful. Not to mention open minded. You can ask her anything and feel like you won't be judged. One of the best at PCC.

amazing teacher. super fun class. very easy. im it now and i will continue to take other classes she teaches. there are 4 tests in which you can use a page of notes front and back. no homework at all except read to prepare for tests. plenty of extra credit chances.

She's really passionate about the material and a really fun teacher, but not very organized. No homework, just tests, and the tests are all on material in the book. If you read the book and remember what it says, you'll do fine. Fun class.

Great teacher...her class is engaging and fun. She uses films, readings, and life experience to get the points across. Set up for the student to succeed, gives you tons of extra credit options, and the multiple choice exams are not that bad.

It's like learning psychology from your cookie-baking aunt. Helpful and engaging, kooky sometimes, knowledgeable. Very easy to get an A if you show up to classes - attendance is a must. Cynthia is a really good professor. She is up front and fair with grading and their are multiple opportunities for extra credit. If you show up and keep up with the reading (skim the chapters) then you should get an A. Recommend to anyone!

I have taken three classes with Cynthia and she could not be a better professor. She really wants her students to absorb the material so instead of assigning homework- or essays, she gives her students tons of extra credit assignments and about 4 tests per semester...All tests are open-note...Cynthia needs to be teaching more way more sections..

I adore Cynthia and have taken all of her classes. I always recommend her to anyone at PCC who is taking PSY either for fun, for credit, for pre-reqs, etc. She is so fun and really into what she teaches. I have learned so much from her and have been able to apply it to my everyday life. Take her words to heart, this one is a winner all around.

Attend class make test notes use your handouts and not only will you get an A but no final!!!

I'm currently taking her class and I am actually having fun. She makes the class interesting and explains things clearly. Reading the textbook is up to you out of class but her lectures are informative. 5 pages of notes per test. Her final is optional and the only homework is one observational diary a week. She offers EC and I highly reccomend her.

I'm currently in this class, and highly recommend. She's hilarious, down to earth, and wants you to succeed. She's a great teacher and because of this I really look forward to her classes. There is no good reason not to do well in this class as she works with the students to be sure you're all on the same page.

YOU WILL LOVE HER!! She is down to earth, nice, and very helpful. this class is not hard, but it is very interesting and you'll learn a lot. Tests are straight forward and multiple choice - just read the chapters and take notes. Ask questions...she answers them thoroughly! Very good at emailing as well. Enjoy:) I did.

I took 232, too! She's AMAZING. I wish all my teachers were like her. She's compassionate, caring and very down to earth. She is understanding and communicates through email very well. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and everyone.

Cynthia is an amazing professor! I took Psy 101 and psy 216 from her & loved her classes! I wish she taught all of the psych courses. She makes sure you understand the material. She is very good at explaining and using real-life examples! i recommened her 250%!!!

Cindy Golledge is super cool, smart, funny, and teaches a great class. I feel very fortunate to have taken social psychology from her, and only wish I could take more of her classes. She is a super generous grader - and a terrific teacher.

Dr. Golledge is a very wonderful teacher. She is talented and gifted in the art of lecturing. She may be a little too nice on students some times, but that's just because she's an awesome human being. Definitely should take a course from her.

Good lectures. Knowledgeable, fair, consistent, passionate, engaging and informative teacher. You have to read the textbook, but she does not regurgitate it like a robot. Assignments reinforce learning objectives. Class materials lack lame filler. Lots of extra credit. My one and only complaint is that Cynthia's online resources are scattered.

I have taken 3 classes from Dr. Golledge and she is wonderful! She is very helpful, teaches in a very friendly and open manner, and gives you tons of chances to earn a good grade. Her lectures are very engaging and interactive. If you do a little reading and participate in class discussions you will have no problem getting an A.

Obviously, Cynthia is wonderful. Lots of opportunities for INTERESTING extra credit. She makes class really interesting, does NOT read off of power points like most teachers. She really knows her stuff. Weekly quizzes online, they open every Thursday and you have until Sunday to take them. Drops lowest quiz score. Final is OPTIONAL.

Very pleasant and enthusiastic woman. She cares about her students getting a good grade as apparent by mentioning new extra credit opportunities in nearly every other class. This class is easy if you pay attention and read some. A great intro class. Final is optional. She creates a positive learning environment just being there and being herself.

Cynthia is about as genuine and sincere as a person can be, and this is reflected in her concern for her students' success. She has a fantastic sense of humor and her lectures are always engaging--you won't be watching the clock. If you do the reading and attend class, there is no way not to get an A.

The best teacher I have ever had. I have taken all the classes she offers. She has inspired me to want to become a professor in psychology. She occasionally interjects her political opinions in class, but other than that, she is the ideal teacher that I hope to be like one day.

This teacher is amazing!!! I absolutely loved all of the classes I took with her, and she made me love psychology so much more than I already did!! Lectures were amazing and I left class more knowledgeable by far. MUST TAKE FOR SURE!!

Took Social Psychology. She is amazing great clear funny relaxed and up beat teacher. All grading and testing is available online or on paper. Final is optional. Extra credit isn't anywhere near painful. I am taking all my Social Science credits from her because she is such a great professor. Explains everything you need to know for quizzes.

Great teacher, very open and honest. Very funny. Class could be very interesting. 1 quiz per chapter/ every week or so, book is needed for quizzes. classmates can be rude, disruptive and Cynthia wasn't the best at controlling them all the time.

Wonderful teacher! Great subject, she got some really amazing guest speakers, too. Quick hint for broke students: You do not have to buy a book, the tests are take home and open book, so take the test at the library with the 2-hour check out.

Cynthia is an amazing professor, I wish I found her earlier in my college career. She's very fun, upbeat, and will do her best to help any student out. She welcomes our opinions, and gets fantastic guests to come speak with us. Credit is given for attendance, but you'll never want to miss class anyways. Read, listen, and pass the class easily.

If you don't pass her class with an A, you don't want an A. She gives a TON of feedback, and is very clear about what she wants. She gives study guides for all of the tests, and allows 4 pages of notes to take them. Piece of cake! She is also very easy to talk to, and genuinely cares about her students.

Do yourself a favor and TAKE CYNTHIA'S CLASSES! I have taken every single one of her courses because she is just that damn good. I learned so much thanks to her. Tests every other week or two on D2L, no real HW, great lectures with lots of videos and guest speakers. Don't be afraid to speak up and just have fun in the class.

Wonderful professor who is actually there to support her students. Not only in the classroom, but outside of it with any personal problems you have as well. Only 3 tests throughout the term (85% of grade), participation (other 15%). NO HW. If you are good with the grade you got on the 3 tests, you are NOT required to take the final. HIGHLY SUGGEST.

I really enjoyed Cynthia! Great class, interesting subject matter. However, I must say that although I loved her as a person, I became disillusioned by how easy her class was. Psy 216 was very interesting and the class lectures were a treat (I didn't want to miss a day), read your text book and take weekly multiple choice quizzes and test, and that's it. Super easy A if you can do that.

Super nice&flexible with students. If u read the book u will do well&she goes over everything a lot b4 test n quiz. Quizzes every week and multiple tests but if u read the book you should do very well. The material is very interesting and she makes her class pretty fun and takes time for every student to ask questions. She's as good as u can get!

The sweetest and most sincere teacher I have ever had. Truly cares for her students. The class was my favorite I have taken at PCC yet! Extremely interesting, class was NEVER boring. Students can feel free to share and speak up in class. She always shows great articles/videos that go along with topic. You're lucky to have her as your professor!

Out of all my professors, Cynthia is by far my favorite. I've taken a couple classes with her now and she's incredible. There's very little homework but a reading quiz nearly every class. It's very low stress and easy though. As someone with anxiety, it never scared me. She makes it easy for students to make a good grade and the final is optional.

Great lady who cares about every single student in her classroom. The material is handed to you on a very clear platter and I've noticed some students didn't even take notes because of how well she portrayed her lectures. There was an uncomfortable subject on sexual orientation that I felt was a bit unnecessary for the subject of this class.

Cynthia is a friendly teacher who cares about each student. I found this class to be very easy because there was minimal homework and we could use many notes for each test. The quizzes were easy. Her lectures were engaging and interesting! I looked forward to each class because I knew I would learn something new. She had extra credit available.

Cynthia is fantastic, and so is her PSY101 class! The world would be a better place if more people took this class. As long as you reasonably engage with the material, do the readings and the study guides you should have no problem getting an A. She's been teaching quite a while and it shows, crazy clear communication and very easy to understand.

Okay, this teacher is amazing. She clearly points out exactly what is due and will always clarify when needed. If you email her she will email you back that same day. If you have the chance, take her class. She really cares about her students and understands their busy life schedule.

Her 232 is an easy A, stress-free class and youll learn a lot. She is very kind and smart instructor. Her class has very clear and simple structure. The way in which she organized her class kept me on the truck and prevented procrastination. A textbook was very interesting and easy to read

Cynthia gives amazing lectures. Theyre very interesting and she gives great examples. There is a quiz every week and if you didnt do so well on it she gives you an extra credit opportunity to make up for some of the points. Show up and pay attention in class, do the reading and weekly quizzes, study for the exams and you will pass.

Being in Cynthias class is genuinely enjoyable, and her lectures are fun as well as useful. This course was more focused on learning about human interactions and didnt go as in depth as I thought it would, but there is always something important youll learn. There is never too much homework, if you show up and read the articles youll get an A!

Cynthia is really freaking awesome! I LOVED her class. I don't think you lost points for absences but there are 4 question quizzes everyday except for test days. (read the online articles, you'll be fine.) She truly cares, is genuine, funny and makes herself totally available outside of class. I wish I could take more of her classes. Outstanding! A

Cynthia Golledge has been my favorite professor here at PCC. She is very understanding and caring. She makes lectures interesting. There was a short multiple choice quiz each class on the reading she assigned. If you read the article, you passed the quiz easily. All exams were multiple choice as well and she allowed a page of notes on exams.

Cynthia is a great instructor. She's really passionate about psychology and does a great job teaching it. Her class is a super easy A, as the reading quizzes (taken almost every class) and tests are very easy. In my opinion, the material is common sense, so as long as you show up and pay attention in class, you'll be good to go.

By far the best class I have ever taken. She is such a funny teacher, and really cares about her students. She makes learning fun, and is very enthusiastic about psych. If you have a problem outside of class and are unable to make it to a test, or important lecture, she is very flexible and is willing to help you with anything you need.

Cynthia is the best professor I've ever had. If you don't care for psych, you'll still love this class. I had to take psych 101 for a social science credit and her teaching made me change my major to psych. She's so passionate about what she's teaching and she gets you excited to learn. She is very forgiving and is always willing to help you!

DO you want a wholesome, excited, clever, and reliable professor?? if you take PSY101 or any of her other classes you will never be disappointed. She works hard to make sure you pass and gives ample opportunities to be engaged with the course material. Also has extra credit opportunities!

I love Cynthia!! shes absolutely wonderful to talk to and her lectures are super interesting that you don't even realize it's been over an hour since class has started. She doesn't give homework besides reading a very short article since she gives reading quizzes every class. For real just show up and do the reading and you're golden

I absolutely loved her class! Her grading criteria was always very clear, you can tell she cares a lot about her students. She would give out a reading for homework which was always interesting and then a short quiz in the next class. As long as you do the readings and review study guides for the tests you will pass! So far my favorite professor!

This has got to be the BEST learning experience I have ever had. The testing system of weekly quizzes and make ups makes this class super comfortable to be in. Professor Golledge gives amazing feedback and she cares of the wellfare of her students. I would 100% recommend her.

Great Professor. She's a bit chatty at moments which can derail the class, if you don't mind that then you're making a good choice with this prof. The work isn't difficult if you read the study guides and take notes. There are reading quizzes over each chapter along with a test at the end. Very interesting class in general! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Golledge is a wonderful professor and a kind person. Her class is super fun and she is so good about answering all questions you might have. The class is extremely easy to pass, as long as you try. The reading quizzes are easy and she gives study guides for each test. Only downside is that sometimes discussions can get off-topic and waste time.

Cares about the work, and is available to students who have questions. Clearly dedicated to her students and Psych. Really useful study guides though she changes them a lot during the course, which sucks. She uses class time poorly, writing/editing docs live rather than coming prepared, and insisting on going over EVERY quiz questions. Easy class.

I really enjoyed having prof Golledge as a teacher! Her lectures were always interesting and she was always happy to have student participation. What she expects from you and the work you need to do for the class is very clear which helped me manage everything super easily. Just a great professor, I highly recommend her!

Cynthia is a great professor! She really cares about students and them learning the most and best possible way. She is always updating and adding new material for her courses but as long as you utilize the resources she gives you you can easily get an A and not have to take a final exam. Hands down one of the best professors I've had!

Truly wonderful. She's lively and cares about her students. She creates her own study guides that coincide with the reading/quiz/test. She gives two weeks to read, study, and take 1 test and 1 quiz. She communicates regularly to keep on track. It's so manageable. No discussion boards, free textbook! It's a breathe of fresh air being in her class.

I loved Cynthia! She made coming to (online) class very enjoyable and fun. I learned a lot from her in a subject that has the potential to be dull. Very clear about tests/quizzes. The reading was short and to the point. 10/10 taker her!

Loved this professor!! Lectures are not mandatory, but truly are important for the tests, help with understanding the reading. Readings were a bit long, but can be interesting. She was an enjoyable and caring professor, would take again!

Professor Golledge is one of the most caring instructors i have had, i would highly recommend taking her class if you can. The material, grading and due dates are very clear. If you need any help she is happy to help and responds to emails very quickly, she even sends emails out of the blue to tell you that you great job on an assignment!

Cynthia was an absolute godsend of a professor. She took the time out of her day to work with me and my extremely chaotic work schedule and made sure I was taken care of and given ample time to finish tests. She would also reach out and ask if I needed any help if I received a less than favorable test score. Also, her classes were genuinely fun!5/5

Cynthia is such an amazing professor. She actively goes out of her way to help students achieve the grade they want in the class. She's very engaging with the class and not ever a dull moment. The material isn't hard at all, and the workload isn't a lot either. The stuff you learn help you along the way in life. Highly recommend for everyone! :)

Cynthia makes the classroom environment one that is full of fun, support, and learning. She devotes a great deal of time towards preparing useful study guides and other resources that adequately prepare students for her exams and quizzes. Beyond this, she's a joy to be around and just such a genuine, kind educator. Very great professor all around.

One of the best instructors i have ever had, incredibly helpful and caring. Very engaging and interesting lectures, always helped to make sure people understood what was being taught and gave a good workload in the course. Phenomenal class and teacher.

Easily one of the best professors I've ever had. Cynthia is great at answering questions and the homework is very straightforward. All tests are very fair, multiple choice, and you get to use your notes. Her lectures are interesting and engaging. On top of all that she is funny, super nice, and really cares about all of her students!

PSY 202A covers some difficult topics (psychological disorders, discrimination, etc.), but Cynthia creates a welcoming learning environment for every student and addresses each issue with diplomacy. Respect and political correctness are obviously crucial parts of her teaching philosophy. She is also organized to a T!

Cynthia Golledge is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She's always happy to answer any question you could think of and is overall very obviously passionate about her job and the field of psychology. She makes each class interesting and engaging. I highly recommend her to anyone at PCC considering taking Psych 201/202 or Social Psych 216.

Cynthia was great, she loved to answer any questions. She structured the class in a logical way, where the big assignment was broken into three and due during the first month, so we didn't have to worry about it while the other classes were having big assignments due at the end. She is very quick to respond to emails. I wish I could take her again.

Super thorough and straight forward, doable work with lots of review. Great instructor!!
