I learned so much from her. She is challenging but you can do well as long as you pay attention to detail. I think she teaches many helpful concepts to use when you become a teacher.

She is very tough in regards to grading, but gives you the opportunity to finish work early and she'll critique it and let you know what to correct.

She is very helpful and always lets you complete work late as long as you're making an effort. Her class is not that thrilling, but you learn lots of techniques to take with you.

If you are smart you will get your work done early and have her check it. Grading is very tough, can't seem to get a perfet score to save my life. Her grading scale 100 - 94 = A 93 - 85 = B. I would have had an A if her grading scale was normal.

If you want to learn how to teach, you can follow the course, or you can just watch Dr. H. She gives quite a bit of work, but it's all very helpful. She is a great person to rely on for professional preperation.

TAKE HER CLASS! Very helpful and informative teacher, she wants you to learn how to teach right. She cares and will do extra work to help you with ANYTHING!!

Bottom line, she made me nervous. I think shes a great teacher, and she definitely knows her stuff. However, she is so "together" that sometimes its hard to remember that shes there to help us. Her feedback is good, and she grades fairly.

Happy Dr. H has been the best professor for method courses so far. There is a lot of work involved in the course but she let's you turn it in ahead of time for review. She really cares about her students and makes the class really fun.

shes a very clear and informative teacher.. she grades on a 7 point grading scale which sucks. I got a 92 in the class and ended up with a B :(

I guess I had a different experience! I think your grades go by if she likes you or not! I turned in work early, made corrections and still got lots of points off. The person next to me got wonderful grades turning in crap. MADE ME MAD. Lots of work.

She's a great teacher, always is willing to help. Her assignments are fun but very time consuming. her tests are exactly whet she says they are going to be like.

I loved her. She is so great and funny. She really keeps you interested in the material, no matter how boring. She really thinks out of the box and allows creativity to flow. Her test are difficult, but the material needs to be learned. She is wonderful!!!

She is a very nice person, and will try to help you with anything, but sometimes can seem like she's talking down to you. I think she just gets agrivated with people who don't do their work, and she dosen't have patience for that. But still a very good teacher, I would recomend her.

Dr. Hutchinson is a superb teacher.She explains all the teaching concepts very well and clearly.She lets you turn in work early for corrections for a better grade.She is extremely helpful if you need it before or after class.She had a lot great stories to tell to understand the material better.93%-100% is an "A", not 90%-100% in her class.

Dr. Hutchinson was a fabulous professor. The only reason people say that they wouldn't like her is because they are lazy, and shouldnt be teachers. The assaginments were engaging, and great experience. She is very caring and willing to proof read all work before turning it in. Explains LiveText very well. I highly recommend Dr. Hutchinson!!!!!!

Doctor Hutchinson is a very caring professor. She will go out of her way to help a student in need. Take her if you can, but watch out for her grading scale, it can catch you by suprise.

Dr. Hutchinson is very clear on what she wants you to do. She will check your work before it is due and tell you how to fix it so you will get all the points for it. You have to be self-sufficient in her class, you have to be responsible for yourself. Overall, a good teacher, she wants you be successful.

Lot's to do but broken up evenly, must keep up, she will do pretty much anything she can to help you succeed. I had to miss several days but she made sure I was able to make up the work. I couldn't ask for a more understanding Prof.

Her class was really easy to get a good grade. She really cares about her students and their success, she is very helpful and really wants the best for all her students. I took her LEAD class and she really is the sweetest person ever! She genuinely wants you to learn and get a good grade and will do anything to help you - take advantage of her office hours and be nice to her! Even when it gets a little boring.

I loved her!! I lost my "A" because of the tests. There are 2 of them and they aren't hard, but study for them. Her grading is 93-100 is an "A" and I had 91. So that sucks....but TAKE HER. She cares so much, and you WILL USE the material you do in her class. I would recommend her to EVERYONE!!!!

Nice and helpful professor. HOWEVER, grade scale not so nice or helpful. She changed the grading scale to 93-100=A. Beware because she does not change grades.

Dr. Hutchinson was probably the greatest teacher I've ever had. Those who complain about her grading scale would be the first to complain that their students are not taught by competant teachers. She is more caring than any teacher you will find and she is willing to help you through any situations that occur. She is the best teacher on campus.

She is a wonderful professor! Very easy class. I bought the textbook, but never needed to use it. She gives a few notes and the tests are based mostly on those notes and a few things she says in lecture. I would definitely recommend her! She will check over any papers before you hand them in, so you are sure to get a good grade.

She pretends to be nice but is extremely rude if you actually listen to what she is saying to you. Very easy class and interesting if she wasn't so condescending to the students. One of my least favorite professors.

She is an excellent teacher and is always avail if you need her. I learned a lot in her class that I can apply when I have my own classroom. I would take her again!!!

I really liked her! She wants everything in on time but can be flexible. I don't think you have to be a favorite to do well. You need to be responsive and you should be fine. Gives test grades out right after class finishes! No wasted time! Good teacher.

She was a really good professor. She taught me a lot an I felt like she really cared about our educations. She has this policy where if you take your work to her before it's due, she will correct it. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Hutchinson is an extremely helpful person. She is someone that you will want to keep as a resource beyond your 4 or 5 years of college. Very knowledgeable. Not too hard to get an A in her class. You just have to go to class and do your work. She is awesome!

Dr. Hutchinson is alright. The things you learn in her class are extremely important and she does a good job of teaching the material. She is a bit rude sometimes and puts alot of pressure on you. Not many assignments but they're extremely important. The quizzes are worth the most points. If you do your assignments correctly, you're fine.

Prof. Hutchinson was extrememly helpful. I loved coming to her class even though it was at 7:30 in the morning. She had a lot of interesting experiences to share with the class that made the material very easy to comprehend. She did call people out if they were being disrespectful to her... I would have done the same thing though!

The class is SUPER easy. While she does keep you EVERY class ALL class long (4 hours is a little ridiculous), it's all easy and it's all bullsh**. Another thing is that she keeps us there to show us videos that we don't care about! One video was good but the others... well, they were unnecessary. Overall it's an easy but boring class.

Dr.Hutchinson was one of the best professors I have ever had. She pushes you to be your best and is there to assist you every step of the way! I had one of the best semesters academically with her motivating me every step of the way. She is amazing!!

Grading scale was ridiculous. It reminded me of the grading scale back in the 90s except hers was harder. There's only 5 grades in the class of which 2 are a test, so if you're a bad test taker kiss your A goodbye. All the important elements of the class are NOT graded, the teaching and Junior Achievement especially. The textbook was not used.

You will learn a lot in this class. She is very fair, and knows what she's talking about. Grades are based on a few big projects, but she wants you to succeed.

She is very knowledgeable and helpful...the class itself is a great learning experience, and she tries to help you get the most out of every aspect of it. The grading scale is a little bit crazy, but if you show up and do the work, you'll do great.

Loved her! She is funny and makes learning the material fun. Her exams weren't too difficult if you put just a few hours into studying. We did two types of "microteach" and they weren't too difficult. She grades very well and doesn't give you your hmwk back completely covered in red ink. She is a lot of fun and I highly recommend her!!

There is no reason not to take Dr. H for classroom management. Also, helpful hint, always go to her office hours to review the work before you turn it in. I got 100's on everything because I did this, and she likes you much more!

She was my LEAD teacher for freshman year this year! She is a sweet woman, and takes the tie to know her students. This class was easy going and fun. When you write paper you really have to get the grammar right because she with put red marks all over your paper. If you care about the class you will do well, if not ,your grades will reflect that.

Professor Hutchinson is such a sweet person! She cares so much about her profession, as well as her student's. She is very resourceful; I refer my colleagues to her when they have questions about the College of Education. Take her if you can! Her course is so clean cut and everything is in simple terms.

Very helpful and caring. She will work with you if you need something. Make sure you keep track of your JA. She is very helpful if you're stuck on your microteach lessons.

Dr. H is great! She is such a sweet and caring professor. Proofread-Proofread-PROOFREAD your assignments, every point I missed for this class was due to a silly typo. Make sure you take her and then give her a chili pepper, because she deserves it!

She is possibly the sweetest and most helpful professor I have ever encountered. If you are able to take her class, DO IT! She lets you submit assignments early, then hand it back so you can make the corrections and get full credit. She cares about her students and is passionate about teaching. I highly recommend her!

Dr. H is such a helpful professor! She welcomes questions, provides feedback on assignments, and truly cares about her students. I often feel stressed and nervous at the beginning of semesters, but Dr. H helped calm my nerves and make me feel comfortable. She's an exemplary instructor! Dr. Hutchison is one prof you MUST take. She keeps class lively, tells great (revenant) stories and has clear expectations. Also you can give her assignments early for pregrading, no reason not to get an A. We even did a chacha line to the song HOT one day. She is amazing!! You will not regret not taking her.

I took this course in summer b. She gives you all of the information you need to become a teacher. More than willing to go over any assignment before it's due. She gives good feedback and really fast too. You will be doing a lot of work, and keeps you there for all four hours but it's worth it. She keeps it interesting.

Took her for a six week summer class so it was a lot of information in a short time but she did great job at fitting it all in without it being overwhelming. Didn't use the textbook at all because what she covered in class was what was on the test. Take notes! As long as your put in effort, show up, and do what she asks you will pass.

She's great! I absolutely love her class. Ask her anything and she's more than willing to help you. She goes over the material in class, but READ THE CHAPTER PRIOR TO CLASS. It will help you immensely. Amazing professor!

Professor Hutchinson was amazing! She came in every single class with a smile and teaches with such poise. There is a lot of group work and presentations are never in front of the entire class, just your groups which is great. Willing to help you out, cares about you and making sure we are prepared to become the best teachers we can be. TAKE HER!!

Professor Hutchinson is super sweet! You'll have 3-4 exams based on her textbook and lectures. You will also be participating in Junior Achievement which will count as your service learning for the class. There are 2 major lesson plan assignments, but she walks you through everything so that's super nice. Take her! You'll 100% pass.

Took this class Summer A, and it was great. Your grade is based on attendance, participation, & completed assignments. Prof. Walters tries to help you in any way she can. I am glad I took her class. Final grade was an 'A'. Attend class, put forth effort and you will do great!

She is the kind of professor that you ask questions when you are confused and feel comfortable in making a mistake in front of. You learn so much. She is helpful through the process of adjusting to the College of Ed. Her assignments are all relevant. She is very lecture heavy, but it's info you need. She is very clear and provides great feedback.

Great Teacher. Easy Class. Had two tests. She gives out a review before the test. Just go to class and pay attention and the tests are cake. I didn't open the book (save your money). 10/10 would take again
