Cynthia is a certified CPA who knows her material. She loves to help students with any problems and will definitely go out of her way to do so. If you study the material taught in class and complete all the homework, you will get an A without a doubt.

Very good teacher who is eager to help. She is a CPA and worked for IRS so she knows her stuff. Sometimes lectures are a little long, but she truely is a good teacher. If you see her as an option choose her.

Cynthia love accounting and does her best to get other to enjoy it. She takes the class out of thebox a bit by discussing global effects of accounting. I like how she had us thinking out of the box. She is a very fair grader. If you show up and do the homework, you can easily get an A.

I felt Cynthia was a great teacher. I hadn't taken any accounting classes before hers and I made it through both 211 and 212 with A's. She provides you with very good information and as long as you pay attention, you shouldn't have too much of a problem. Remember...ask questions!!

Possibly one of, if not THE best teacher I have had. No proctored exams for distance learning. It's distance learning the way it should be. Always responds very quickly. Very knowledgeable. Hot! So hot it's a crime. She's a good teacher. Took this class online. I'm experienced so I rarely used the book. Online was awesome, she drops the lowest of 3 tests. Tests suck. For me some of the questions were not specific enough, just general & Accounting is anything but General. Online rocks. Had to do 2 weekly discussions, my only gripe.

Great teacher. She emailed me back at 11pm, when the homework was due at 5am. Very helpful. Tests are a little hard, but if you do the homework by hand and not just on the computer you'll do fine.

The on-line accounting class I took with Cynthia as instructor was great. Her responsiveness to e-mail and questions showed a high level of dedication. The on-line format really helped me succeed in this class. However, if I have a chance to take a class from Cynthia on campus, I would absolutely do so.

I was very nervous about taking an online class but ended up getting an easy A. She does a GREAT job of answering emails at lightening speed and the class layout is the same from week to week. No surprises! I highly recommend this teacher and plan to take BA 212 with her next term.

She was really interested in making sure you succeed AND understand the material. She has excellent patience and accounting is like a foreign language so it was appreciated. Truly cares but that does not mean she isn't a strict grader.

Took on-line Accounting and Cynthia was quick with responses and reasonable when it came to discussion of different answers. If you need accounting I'd recommend her.

Cynthia is very passionate about non-profits. Much of the class is discussion with the other students. One exam, the questions are given to you beforehand and you can have a full page of notes BUT, pay very close attention to what she says in lecture because it will be on the test and not in the slides. Would take her again!

Cynthia is the best teacher I had attending PCC over the past 3 years. She is very knowledgeable, kind, helpful and gives you tons of resources for each topic you are studying. This professor is awesome! I have taken three of her courses. BA211,212, and 213. I took BA 211 in person and the others online. She is SO helpful and very accomodating. I think she just wants her students to show interest and care about learning, if you do this you will pass the class. A decent amount of homework but it prepares you well for exams

213 had more complex concepts than 211/212 & I struggled some but Cynthia was very helpful. Can ask for help in Connect on an exact question. Since class was only 1 time a week, didn't leave much time to learn or understand the concepts- would work through 2-3 problems & that would take the entire class. Always helped no matter how much I asked.

Cynthia has been a great teacher! homework is easy, only 3 test throughout the term, and discussions are very easy to do.

Class is almost completely through McGraw Hill Connect website. Homework and quiz through Connect and 3 discussion posts on D2L once a week. Two midterms and one final taken on Connect come straight from the weekly quizzes. You are only allowed to work one week in advance though on Connect. Cynthia is very helpful when you ask for it.

Cynthia is helpful and kind, and worked as an accountant for a long time herself, so she knows her stuff. She'll answer any questions you have, and is lenient with homework turn in dates if you have extenuating circumstances. I would definitely recommend her.

This is the 3rd course I have taken with this professor and she is the best I have had. Most online teachers are non-existent and difficult to reach. Cynthia is responsive and posts information frequently. She provides many additional websites and videos to help us understand the information. You can tell that she cares that her student do well.

This was my second course with Cynthia. I really enjoyed it. Accounting isn't the most exciting subject, but Cynthia makes it interactive with class discussions. All homework is done through McGraw hill connect. Use the tools and you should do fine.

Cynthia was great. I struggled pretty hard in this class but ended up getting an A because of the effort I put in. Her 3 tests are easy if you come to the review day of class and bring a page of notes. Quizzes online are hard, but taking the practice quizzes really helps.

If you ask a question, she'll get back to you right away. I questioned a test answer and provided proof to my argument and I got the additional credit. The book leads the way to the tests and the assignments were not hard.

Her lectures are amazing and way more useful than just reading the textbook. There's a lot of homework for the class but its not terrible difficult if you've been attending lecture and reading the textbook. The two midterms were easier than I thought they would be, we were also allowed to bring in a calculator and full sheet of notes.

Cynthia is a great professor, I've had her for several business classes and always choose her courses for my requirements when I have the option to. She has very clear grading criteria, very helpful and prompt at responding when I have questions.

Income tax is not an easy subject. The entire class was based on reading the chapters, participating in discussions, doing homework after every chapter, and submitting comprehensive assignments. Plus 3 tests, which were extremely tricky. No extra credit. The teacher however responded immediately and was really helpful when stuck upon a problem.

This class was a total pain, but the teacher made it way easier to get through. Some of the assignments were tough but doable. She gave amazing feedback on assignments. She was always ready and willing to help with any questions and fast to respond to them. Would totally take her classes again, haha which I am!

Nicest professor ever! So sweet to her students and gave out many helpful hints to guide us. I'm taking her hybrid class and she was very efficient in explaining things in class and the homework was on Accounting lab which was easy to get 100% on if you took the time. I think the only people who didn't do well were ones that never did homework.

Cynthia is "the" person to go to to find your path in the accounting world. She leads by example, has a fascinating history, explains everything concisely, and provides everything a student needs to succeed in the accounting or business world. For me, I'm going into STEM and environmental science, but I recommend everyone take her classes. :)

There were weekly discussions with two replies required. Make sure to cite your discussions. There were weekly quizzes and assignments. The assignments could be difficult and time-consuming. Don't leave the assignments til the end of the week. Great feedback on the assignments, but minimal feedback on the discussions. Learned a lot!

Cynthia is amazing. Her class is set up perfectly. She teaches us well and is really good at explaining concepts. Her weekly Q&A discussion boards have been super helpful. If you send her an email, she'll usually respond within a couple of hours, or first thing in the next morning. Gives great feedback on HW.

I took her BA 240 Nonprofit class and was not dissapointed. I feel like I left the course with an overall rounded knowledge of nonprofits. I would definitely recommend her based off of the amount of information she provides in addition to the textbook as well as her prompt feedback and critique. There is a good amount of reading.

Great instructor. She replies promptly to emails. The Cengage homework was a little tough for me, but the ProConnect homework wasn't too bad. The weekly discussion posts were easy. The instructor even gave us a 2nd chance to take an exam when several students didn't do well on it.

Professor Killingsworth is a fantastic teacher, the way her class is structured is great for you night owls as it is not due til 5am instead of the standard 12am deadline. She gives extra credit if you do the practice exams which I highly recommend. The content can be a lot to take in sometimes so make sure to space out your workload!
