Mrs. Dalaney is a wonderful teacher to do well in her class you must study. If u fail the class it your fault she gives you what you need for the test it is up to you to study.

I've taken lots of Biology in HS, so this class has so far been pretty easy for me. Teacher is really nice, speaks slowly, and goes over important stuff 2 or 3 times. All chapter notes are available on the web and are fill in the blank. Study your notes, remember pictures. 3 points added to final grade for attendance of 90%+

Go to class. I suck at science. I never understand any of it in high school. You have to go to class listen and study a little but you will pass if you do. She gives you hints on whats on the test and they are directly from the notes. She's awesome!

I thought I was going to pass with a low B, but after she added the extra points for attendance and all, I had an A! I think she is cute for her age. Very sweet!!

Only problem is she is tricky with test questions. She is detailed and thorough. Helpful in pretty much every aspect. Take advantage of attendance because she will give bonus points. Book is hardly used. Amy Sprinkle is my lab instructor and lab manual is hardly used. 5 STARS

Very easy to understand teacher. She draws examples, has a power point and GIVES you the questions to each test. All you have to do is show up for class and fill in the blanks to her power point. You do have to study because of the way questions are asked AND she gives extra credit just for showing up. Awesome teacher!

Attendance isn't mandatory but you get points added to your final grade for being there the majority of the time. She puts her notes online with blanks you fill in. Textbook use is not mandatory but it helped clarify certain things i didnt understand. she is very willing to help outside of class and she is really easy to talk to!

Book is only needed for clarification, so you don't usually need it. She explains everything thoroughly, and in an easy to understand manner. She holds study sessions prior to the test and post grades quickly. Large class sizes.Very friendly to all students. Pleasant speaking voice.

I love her, I hate any science but I want to become a nurse,she made it so easy to learn. She isn't your average teacher, very enthusiastic and helpful. We never used the book so don't buy it, just attend class, print out the notes, and use your clicker for clicker questions bc she will award helfpul bonus points to your exams!

Mrs. Tucker is a fantastic professor. Her voice is a little annoying, but she is very clear when she lectures. She gives you fill in the blank notes and the textbook really is not necessary. If you take the notes and class and write down her clicker questions then you will have all you need for the tests. If I get the chance I will take her again

Delany-Tucker is by far the best teacher. She cares about her students and takes the time to make sure you understand. Her notes are fill in the blank. After the quizzes and clicker questions, you have 99% of the questions on the test. Take her if you ever have the chance!

I Loved her! She was very clear! Her test are hard..I made a D on the first ones just from studying the notes! I learned that I had to read the chpters along with the notes!!!! She is a wonderful professor. Knowledgeable and passionate about Biology. Does frequent quizzes and clicker sessions, and many of her exam questions are verbatim from these. Does not use the textbook but definitely recommends reading the chapters. Attendance is not mandatory, but she does expect you to show up, and uses stories and anecdotes.

I took her for bly 101 and she was great! Sit in the front of class, and take your notes, which she provides so you can fill in the blanks. Study those and keep up with your exams bc the final is cumulative!

I REALLY enjoyed this course and am opting to take BIO 102 next semester with her!

I loved this class! Write down all of the clicker questions! They will be on the test. She is very knowledgable, really makes the class fun, and she is very helpful. The class itself was a little difficult but if you go to class and study like crazy you will be fine.

This semester, I took Tucker for Bio 102. To be honest, this class was a challenge, only because the amount of material that is given throughout the semester. I took Tucker for 101 and she was fairly easy so I decided to take her for 102 however this class was a little more challenging. However, Tucker is a great professor!

Ms. Delaney-Tucker is the sweetest teacher I have probably had even back from high school. She honestly cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. I took her this past summer and it was the best experience. We had class Monday-Thursday and usually everyone showed up but one student. You can definitely tell that she loves what she does.

She gave us 45/50 questions that would be on her final and I made a 100! You DO NOT NEED the physical textbook. You only need the code for Mindtap online. That program has a digital copy of the textbook online.

Dr. Tucker is a very good professor. Life Science 1 had 150 people in the class but she obviously used to having a large class. She walks around and makes sure everyone can hear. There is a lot of homework but it is easy. She does Kahoots and the answers are on her tests. She offers a lot of very easy extra credit.

Definitely one of my favorite professors ever! All of her lectures are very engaging and interactive, and the exams include lots of questions specifically asked in class (clicker questions). MindTap homework is super manageable, and she's available to help during office hours if need. Seriously one of the sweetest people in the world!!

You will need to prepare a LOT to pass the tests, but she is super caring, helpful, and gives many bonus assignments! Everything is graded extremely quickly, and she makes her expectations very clear.

I would recommend taking her for Bio 101, but make sure to pay attention to homework. For me the lectures don't help much or make any sense. I learn from the homework. I absolutely loved Professor Tucker! Class attendance is important since there are lots of clicker questions. There are homework grades, quizzes, bonus opportunities, and exams. She makes her class fun and interesting. This class does require that students actually study and put forth effort. She does have office hours and replies to emails.

If you show up to class and participate, you will pass. She gives a lot of homework but it doesn't take that long to finish. If you don't make too hot on a test, those homework grades sure do help. Be sure to know the questions she asks in class because she uses those on the test. 10/10 would definitely take her again!

SHE IS AMAZING!!!! One thing I can say is that doing the homework is essential to passing the class, but it can be done in 30 minutes. The tests are mostly based off her questions on TopHat so pay attention to her lectures. Go to class! If you skip, your grade will fall tremendously.

Attendance and participation in her class is part of your grade, but she offers many extra credit opportunities and listens to students' feedback. You have three absences from lectures or else your grade goes down. Use them wisely. Lectures are usually short and sweet and you usually get out early. Sometimes she will have "self-paced days" when there is no class. She is very sweet and explains the material very well. Homework takes 30 min. Lots of bonus opportunities as well.

Mrs. Tucker is honestly the best professor I had this semester. The homework is quite easy, yet very helpful. I wouldn't recommend underestimating her class, but she will help you every step of the way and does not want to see you fail whatsoever. Was an amazing lecturer, but the class is all about studying and reading the textbook. If your learning style doesn't get along well with having to spend hours going over topics and reading from the text, I wouldn't recommend this class. She's very attentive to her students' needs, however, and wants what's best for them.

This will honestly the easiest Bio 101 class. She is very understanding and gives you 4 drop dates and makeup day. Her exams are pretty easy if you study. The hw weighs more than test which is helpful to. HW is very easy to do. Overall she explain very well and genuinely cares about the class.

Professor Tucker makes BIO101 an engaging class. Attendance is mandatory, but with her helpful teaching style and fun lab sessions, it's worth it. Use Unstuck study along with the textbook to ace the tests.

Professor LDT is incredibly compassionate and genuinely cares for her students. She offers regular office hours and goes above and beyond to help you succeed. Make sure to have an electronic device for class and homework. While there are lectures and mini-quizzes due weekly that can be time-consuming, they are overall manageable.

LDT was an amazing teacher. She actually cares about her students and if you are struggling you defiantly go to her. Attendance was mandatory, but majority of the exams were from the questions we did in class. So as long as you went to class and completed the work, it was super easy.

LDT is a great professor! Everything in her class is done online via TopHat and MindTap. She leaves a lot of homework but gives a week to do them but they usually are super easy and don't take long to do! Given the amount of assignments and bonus points, if you don't do so well on the tests, your grade isn't affected much.

Mrs. Delaney was a phenomenal professor! You can easily get an A in this class if you do all of the work and study some! It is a lot of assigned homework. But it is all on the test! So pay attention in class. I would have had man A, but attendance was a grade and I got lazy. Which was totally my fault! I would 100% take her again!

LDT is one of my favorite professors I have had so far. She truly cares about the success of her students. Tests are basically homework questions and TopHat questions covered in class, so as long as you pay attention and answer them throughout class then you should be fine. Multiple extra credit opportunities!

great professor! all of the test questions are very similar if not the same as the ones we go over in class. if you attend 90% of the classes it's hard not to at least have a b!
