Great teacher. Told creat stories that tied to the material and help you remember the lecture when it came time to test.

Outstanding professor who truely cares about her students learning the material and passing the course.

Dr. Reed was great, I barely passed the course but she is wonderful

I would take her for any class possible. I have taken her twice, and would highly recommend her!

She is such an awesome teacher and makes things interesting!!!!!

I learned so much from Dr Reed. She is a very smart lady. Her class wasn't easy by any means. Her test are applied questions but as long as you attend class everyday and take good notes it is no big deal. I have a lot of respect for her and would take a class with her again.

She was easy to work with and besure to attend class and take notes. If you willing to put forht the effort shell give you the A or B that you want.

Mrs. Reed always wrights an outline on the board and explains it. I like this syle of teaching it is easy for me to follow. You do have briefly read the chapters. There was no extra credit. I enjoyed this teacher and this class!

I took professor reed for intro to psych and life span/growth, my psych tests were pretty hard because she puts a lot of "applied" questions on her tests. But for life span/growth it was much easier, everything you take notes over will be on the test so that was really helpful.

I love her!! I took her for psychology, sociology, and lifespan. She is very outgoing and helpful. You MUST attend class and read the book. Everything she explains in class will be on the test unless she says otherwise. Her tests for psychology and sociology are a little difficult, but lifespan is easier. I definitely recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Cynthis Reed is by far the best professor that I have ever had, in fact, other professor's need to follow her lead.

Would take her again if I needed another class she teaches. I took ITV, she answered all questions clearly. Rough around the edges but it is clear she loves what she does. If you study the review she gives you, you will do well.

She is one of the most amazing professors that I have ever had. She is extremely helpful and nice. The class is easy, if you show up every day, take notes and study the test reviews you will PASS! Everything that is on the test is on the test review and her tests are not that hard; they are easy to read and understand. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HER!

I took the WEB class. I only opened the book to do the review. Made all A's on my test. Very easy and interesting.

If you study the review and view the DVD's (ITV course) you will do fine. Not sure what types of questions one would have of her, but she gave me all info I needed without me asking

I wish they would put the grade level of the people writing these comments. I took professor Reed last semester and she might have been the easiest teacher I ever took. I think these comments are mainly from a lack of students wanting to do any work at all.

I am taking her Psyc Intro ITV. She answers all your questions, gives an awesome review to study from, and even emails the class to tell them what chapters they should be reading up on. Like most classes, read the book and study, her tests are hard, but easy to get an A if you just study. I am shocked people have negative things to say about her.

Ok, I seriously don't get the negative reviews. I have her for ITV, and she emails you the study guide. Just study the topics on it, and it is an easy "A." After taking Ervin for my other psych class, this lady is a walk in the park.

Very Easy, but you must attend the lectures to do well. Her examples in calss are the exact questions on her multiple choice tests. Show up for class and it is an easy A.

Took online. Great teacher. Test questions tricky; if you use her review sheet and read pertinent information, you will be fine. Great way to take this course. Loved this format!!

I do not know if there is a big diffrence between ITV class and coming to the lecture at campus. I am taking her class at campus and she is a great teacher. As long as you attend class and read a book and study the study sheet, you are good to go.I really like the way how she teaches.

Easy, easy. You have to read the whole book, but if you are a fast reader then it's not a problem. Ms. Reed gives detailed study guides and her test questions come directly from those! Just read the book and re-read the parts that are on her study guide and you can't go wrong. I have learned so much about Psychology, just from all the reading!

One of the Easiest Classes I have taken here on campus. Show up to class, Take notes, and review the study Guide and you will not even have to open the book. I made an A and never Read. She is nice, she makes the information fun to learn and she knows her stuff. I Personally Thought she was great.

took on ITV. Sent study guids for exams. As long as you study from the study guid you will make a good grade. My only complaint is that there is no opportunity for extra credit, and she is not very involved.

I dis. with the neg.remarks re: dr reed-seems these are fr online students-i took her lecture and made an A, (barely), b/c i missed so many classes and daily assignments -she likes class attendance & participation-never used the book except for the final (optional), she gives awesome test reviews and she makes the material fun & interesting. A++

I was so surprised to see such a low rating on Prof. Reed. You guys are crazy, she has got to be one of the most interesting teachers I've had so far. I learned a lot in her class and passed with a definite A. I would suggest actually taking her lectures and attending them rather than ITV, if possible.

If you cannot Ace Ms. Reed's class than you need to be working at McDonalds for the rest of your life. She GIVES you the answers to her tests a week before. I took her via ITV and it was so easy. I made high 90's on her tests and only studied the night before. Excellent teacher,She is very nice and I really did learn alot from her class. She ROCKS!

She has no involvement with the class but then again, it was online! As long as you study everything on the reviews, this class is an easy "A". Your grade depends soley on 4tests so do well on them!

I was in her Lifespan class and it was an easy class, got an A. Just go to class because there will be days where you do an activity that counts towards your grade and listen to her lectures because the examples she gave were used on the test. She provided powerpoint notes after each chapter and a study guide for tests.

SUPER EASY! She gives you a review two weeks before test so she pretty much gives you the answers. If you cant find an answer she is extremely helpful and will give you the answer. Pretty interesting class. I would definitely suggest this class for an easy A.

dr. reed is super easy there is no home work only 4 test study straight from the review and you've got ur self an easy a!

I took ITV 2301 & 2314 and received an A & B. She is pretty clear on the reviews and if you do the review and watch the videos, you ought to do great. I enjoyed both classes and learned alot.

I took her ITV and made an A. Whoever made bad comments before had to be super lazy and didn't want to open the book. She was very nice and reviews were straight forwarfd

Class was easy. Just do the review and will ace the test. She states that no notes are to be used on test. But the test are taken at home. One extra credit opportunity, which i missed and still made and A

I don't understand the bad reviews. Her instructions are crystal clear. Everything on the study guide is identical to the test. She emails often to remind you what you should be studying and when the next test is. If you take your tests at home you have 45min for 50 questions. Thats what I did and I made a A.

Great Professor. Eager to help and explain concepts. Provides study guide for each exam. E-mail communication was great. Exams were clear cut. Everyone can get an A with a little effort.

I took this class online and it was SO easy! She sent out a study guide before every test and made it CLEAR what was going to be on the test. Easy A!

She gets alot of information in the textbook. And is clear in her expectations. She hands out study guides for each exam but does not give the answers. She will, however, tell you where to find it. She answers all your question whether in class or through email. All in all a great professor! :D

Dr. Reed is a great instructor. I took this class ITV and did everything online. She sent reminder emails about upcoming tests along with study guides. The videos are informative and enjoyable. Dr. Reed promptly answered any questions or concerns I had. I would definitely recommend this class to others.

I took her for the ITV. Shes friendly and has quick email response. Beware she rewords the test questions for the laymen, vs whats actually in the text. The required videos are boring in my opinion, but the material is interesting and worth knowing. Recommend!

I took her ITV class. Easy A. Everything is online. The tests can be taken online or at the school. You get 45 min online to take a 50 question test plenty of time. The 4th test will replace your lowest first 3 tests. The final is a must and can not be replaced. Easy class highly recommend.

I took at her at the Northeast campus. Great teacher, Quiz after every chapter and she gives you 5 min to study beforehand. She always has a study guide before the tests and the study guide is identical to the test. She is very clear and answers all questions. A+++

Easiest class. I took the ITV class, and it couldn't have been easier. I never once studied. She sends out a review a couple of weeks before the test and she says "If it's not on the review, it's not on the test". Just answer the questions on the review (basically just writing down definitions from the book). Easy A.

FANTASTIC PROFESSOR! Very intelligent. ALWAYS stays on topic, very structured/organized. Attendance mandatory for weekly (easy) quizzes and in class assignments. Lectures in a way you can comprehend. Offers help/resources to students. Always clear on what she wants. Exams easy if you do the review. Fast response to emails & grading. Overall, easy A

i really liked this teacher. you DO have to read and you DO have to watch the videos for the ITV section. she responds to e mails in a very timely manner. i highly recommend her.

I took the ITV class and made an A. She gives 3 exams and gives study guides to complete before the exam. As long as you watch the videos and complete the study guides you should be just fine.

This class was okay. Took it online but didnt care for it. Its mostly writing definitions down. there are 3 tests & 1 extra credit quiz. i think i could have done better if i wasnt taking other online classes at the time. She emailed reg. which was nice. Take her class.

I enjoy this class, and she is helpful. However, she seems very conceited and loves to bring her Christian faith into the lectures. I didn't sign up for a theology class... Easy quizzes and the tests aren't too difficult.

Absolutly no studyguides for the quizzes/tests,which is fine except she chooses to have DETAILED questions that came from single sentences from paragraphs in the book.One question I had to look it up afterwards because it made me so mad.This class takes up all of my time.After the test you get to squeeze in 2 chapers the next week.VERY STRESSFULL!

She is a really strict prof. but very helpful. You have to ready prior to attending her class because she will give a quiz at the end of each chapter. She knows what she is talking about and makes class fun.

Very good teacher. She makes her class pretty dynamic. I dont remember her talking about God. her tests are multiple choice. and if you pay attention in class and read the book, you should do fine. Most important PAY ATTENTION because her quizzes are based on what she talks about.

SUPER EASY. I made an A and didn't open the book. She puts everything you need to know in her power point slides, but you have to go to every class. I would take any class she taught that I needed, but she is leaving Texas so that's no good!

She is a good teacher, use the book and you will pass her ITV class without a problem. She answers questions promptly and understands computer glitches if a test needs to be reset.

Dr. Reed was wonderful, very understanding and supportive. She responds to all your emails. She keeps the entire class motivated to the end. As long as you do the assignments, quizzes and testing’s on the deadlines you're OK. Do the practical questions, my class textbook didn't came on time, and still make an A. This online class was my first ever.

She was a very good teacher and not boring at all. However she started a new way of doing online quizzes and tests through the book. Her lectures and the book are very similar but the quizzes and test can sometimes have random questions. You MUST read alot in this class to do good on the assignments, but she is a cool teacher and open.

I took her ITV class and actually am making a career in psychology. She offered to speak to me on the phone, was ALWAYS helpful, emailed back right away and honestly, if you study, there should be no problem! I LOVED this class AND the professor.

It has been a full semester since I had Dr. Reed in the Fall of 2012. I am just now reviewing because she is AMAZING and I have not stopped thinking about how grateful I am for taking her class. Yes, her class is not easy, but if you love psych, it is a MUST! My knowledge base in psych was given the BEST Possible foundation due to her class!! :)

She has a weird sense of fashion, but she is a very good prof. She really knows her stuff, & it shows. She is nice & will go out of her way to help/explain if you need it. She shows powerpoints as notes. All of the work & tests are online. You must keep up with lots of due dates. PSYC in general, wasn't as easy as I thought it would be but I passed

Dr. Reed's lectures are clear and fun to attend. She helps you relate the concepts to real life scenarios. Must have the book to pass - tests built verbatim from book. Recommended for general psych.
