A Great professor! I must say. I even logged on this site just to rate this prof. Her lectures make sense to any idiots! (made sense to myself who is not so bright) you will learn alot and her lectures are funny too you won't sleep off. And I think she's quite attractive too..o.O

"Cindy" as she likes to be called is one of the best professors i've had. She keeps the class going and is a lot of fun. She keeps the notes simple and she is very helpful and understanding. There are only two tests (Midterm and Final) but they are fairly easy and no real tricky questions.

Cindy is the best professor i have had my whole college career! She is so funny and makes math actually enjoyable! i wish she taught every level of math because i would take her! Only 2 tests and she lets u use notes so go to class! i love cindy! take her math class trust me!

Ms. Cynthia Roberts is the best professor I ever had. She made bio-cal so easy to understand, I actually looked forward going to her class...even if its 8 in the morning! Her lectures are very comprehensible, and wants every one to succeed. If you want to have the best mathematical experience in UTSA, you will not regret taking MS. CYNTHIA ROBERTS!

I took intermediate algebra with Cindy, and before her class I had failed it twice. I have a very hard time with math, but Cindy made it exteremly easy, she lets you use notes on the tests which is really helpful. I plan on taking her for college algebra, I have never had such a great professor!

Favorite professor! Makes everything very easy to understand and is very helpful. Uses MyMathLab so you don't need the textbook. Hilarious and nice. Best professor ever!!! Definitely take her class

Professor Roberts was an excellent teacher. She gives you many chances for extra credit, as well as making up for bad grades for homework. She doesn't give too much homework, but when she does, she gives you plenty of time to do it. I hate math, but Cindy definitely made the experience easier.

Loved her personality and how she made every day interesting. She is super helpful and definitely bubbly and personable. She uses MyMathLab a lot for homework, but opens them up again at the end of the semester to improve your grade. Exams are definitely passable, but it's important to understand concepts and whatnot. I would take her again!

Cindy would be THE BEES KNEES! She's awesome and definitely my favorite math professor ever. She is lots of fun and keeps lectures exciting while still explaining everything in enough detail so you aren't lost. Makes it easy to get an A as long as you try. SUPER HELPFUL and really approachable. Loved her and would take her again in a heartbeat!

BEST mathematics professor Ive ever had! Great personality, funny, caring, and loves to teach so it all makes her a great teacher. Is leniant grader and lets you use notes and anthing else but laptop/phone, makes class so much easier! Dont think it twice take her!! Drops lowest test, uses Mathlab. Cal is hard in general but she makes class fun!

BEST PROFESSOR AT UTSA! I have beyond enjoyed this course. She is a very intelligent woman that that makes you think. You can use basically anything you want on test! That does not mean you do not have to study because that is definitely not the case. As long as you get your repetitions in on the homework problems then you have your easy A!

Not only is she an amazing teacher, she is really supportive and so funny, eccentric, and helpful. She notices the effort you put in, and she engages every student. Best teacher I've ever had. let us use notes but I never really needed them. I would take her class again if I could!

Awesome professor! First test was a take home test! Also, you get to use your notes on the second test and the final. Lots of hw in mymathlab, but they're easy 100s. Its a good idea to go to class because there are random in class quizzes.

If you want an A in math AND want to understand the material AND not have to go to class look no further. She'll let you use your notes on tests and drops some homework and quizzes. I'm horrible at math but still ended up with an A. TAKE HER!

Smart,helpful and teaches because she loves it. If you're an average student and attend the class you'll get an A. No calculators or other devices as of fall2014.

She is more than willing to sit down and explain something to you, work out problems, and makes sure that you are understanding. By far, my favorite class. It is a great atmosphere, she is absolutely hilarious, and makes calculus enjoyable! She also posts videos of her lectures and problems so that if you miss, you are able to catch up.

TAKE HER!!! She is an awesome teacher and will help you out a lot. If possible take her during the fall because she will give free football quizzes. Class is not mandatory, she uploads everything online. Best teacher I have ever had. She will help you with anything you need help in. Made a 100 in the class. Don't buy the textbook, its not needed.

I love Cindy! She was a wonderful Calculus teacher! I recently took her class this summer and I wasn't even a senior yet in high school. Everything was very clear and she explains everything very clearly. She is so funny and very considerate with the grading. Just go to class because she does give pop quizzes. This is the best math teacher I have had. She makes the content so simple to understand by her teaching method. This teacher was always available for questions and is so enthusiastic, making class fun. Fridays are required to attend for group work, but she helps with that as well.

Professor Roberts are one of those professors you come across at UTSA that you can tell loves her job and loves to teach calculus. As much of a pain calculus class is, she makes the material more interesting and understandable. She gives plenty of easy extra credit opportunities and she's super hilarious. But be warned she's a die-hard cowboys fan!

Best Cal 1 professor at UTSA. Explains concepts very well and offers plenty of extra credit! However, if you slack off, you're so called "easy A" can turn into a B or even a C. Study hard, do the HW's, go to class, and try to study every single type of problem possible because it will benefit you in the long run! Take her, you wont regret it!

Cindy is an excellent teacher who knows her stuff. She heavily interacts with the class and makes sure the students understand the concepts while being entertaining. She can give you some slack if you're struggling, but she encourages working hard. Doing homework is a must if you want to fully understand the subjects. Her tests don't play around!

Cindy is the best college professor ever! She's so nice and awesome! Class participation definitely matters. Ask questions and keep up with lectures and actually do the homework and you're good. Practice, practice, practice! Her tests are short and calculus is calculus but if you practice and keep up it shouldn't be a problem. So much extra credit!

Professor Roberts is simply the best! She goes through many examples so you understand the material. She is hilarious and down to earth. She also really loves the Dallas Cowboys and if you're not a fan she'll most likely call you out for it. Took Cindy for Calc 1 and it was the best thing i ever did. Got an A in the class and it wasnt that hard if you did the homework and practiced a little.

Would definitely take a math class again if she taught it. Funny, done to earth and did i say fun? She does teach well and helped me appreciate math. There will be group projects but as long as u do your part and come to class u will be fine!

She is one of the best professors I have ever had. She is so funny & makes math fun, which is hard to do. We are assigned mymathlab hw every week & there is one quiz every week. But the tests are always tough to pass. The class is not hard to pass if you go to the office hours & ask for help. She is always there even outside of the office & class.

She knows how difficult this class can get therefore she puts out the effort to help students understand the material precisely. Plus, she is funny, does video tutorials for almost every section of the chapters (especially upon request) and she uses memes in her power points

Professor Roberts is a sweet lady who is willing to help students. Make sure to go to class! She might give random quizzes so be sure to go everyday. Her lectures are really helpful. Be sure to do all the homework, attend class, and you will be fine!

Having Cindy as a prof. was amazing! She's so down to earth and will always be there for you! If you work hard and understand the concepts you should get an A. But, her tests can be a little challenging and their tougher than her lectures. If you have a B before the final, don't worry! you'll probably get an A with the project! (or jump a letter)

Professor Roberts is the best professor I've ever had. Went in nervous about the class, but she made it seem so easy. She also gives a lot of extra credit which provides a little bump if you miss a question or two. Beware of the chapter 3 exam and do the homework early and you'll do fine. I highly recommend taking her course.

I never missed Cindy's class and she resurrected my love for math. She takes subjects that would be difficult and tears them apart to what you should know and simplifies it for her students. Go to class, ask questions and she's more than helpful. She runs away if you ask too many though, just go catch her

Professor Roberts it the best Professor I have had yet! She makes class fun and she really cares about us passing. She does give pop quizzes at times so be sure to always go to class! There is a lot of homework but if you time manage yourself you will do just fine! I will definitely be taking Professor Roberts again!

Best professor ever, seriously dont pass up this class. Tests are decent, pop quizzes are always given and no doubt there is always homework, but enough time is given. Lots of extra credit will help you in the long run!

Although there is a lot of extra credit, her class can still be very difficult if you don't put effort into studying. Sometimes her tests are a punch in the face because they're slightly different from the reviews, but she prepares you for the upper division classes. She's kind of sarcastic so make sure you have thick skin coming into her class.

Cindy is a true character. She is a teacher who challenges her students and laughs when they fall but only out of love. She wants everyone to succeed but it is not easy, you have to work very hard to earn it.

I PERSONALLY LOVE THIS WOMEN, but she's still an awesome professor. She truly cares about her students and is willing to help even if she's watching the Cowboys play on Sunday. I didn't understand calc until i took her and did very well. I did have to work for my grade, but it is much easier when you have a professor willing to help. She's funny.

Professor Roberts is awesome. I took Calculus in high school and struggled. However, I had no problem in this class. Lectures are important and entertaining at times so go to class. Do your homework and you'll do great on the tests. She offers lots of extra credit and is very understanding. Highly recommend!

One of the best professors, she was really good at explaining and made every lecture hilarious while still covering all the work. Homework is pretty simple, its all online and nearly have unlimited attempts on every problem, she even gives away answers in lectures most of the time. Final project is fun as well, definitely take her if you can!

Cindy was an awesome professor to have. She always made the class fun and all the quizzes were basically done by here because we either wouldn't take them and get a free 100 or she would do it as a class and still get a 100. She teaches well and the tests are a little hard but if you know the material and study for it you'll do fine.

Honestly the best professor I have had yet at UTSA,I had her for Bio Calc and she is very personable and loves to connect with her students outside of class and even when you are finished with her class. She is hilarious, gives few homework assignments, and tries to make cal as fun as possible. BEST CHOICE FOR CAL!!

Though she is an amazing professor; be forewarned that she loves to talk to students during exams. As a person who is not super confident in math, I need to really focus and usually get distracted easily. Make sure you COMPLETE each review she gives you prior to taking the exam and you should be able to do fine. Mymathlab due every chapter.

This professor is really cool and the course is super easy. You don't really HAVE to show up but sometimes when a lot of people skip she will give the people that actually came a free 100 for a quiz grade or extra points on a test. Also she gives you every opportunity to get a B or higher on tests. It's a guaranteed A if you're okay at math.

She's a really wonderful person and one of the few math teachers I've had who actually makes sense. She's very engaging and personable, and definitely the most respected math professor. I can't wait to take her for biocalculus.

After 6+ years in the military, I've taken too many online classes that sucked. Maybe the professor was just phoning in. Math sucks, but this class ruled. Lectures were thorough and I never felt left behind. I even showed up outside office hours with questions about an upcoming test and she took them like a champ. Professional, would take again/10

I LOVED Cindy! Such a kind hearted and hilarious professor. I had her for pre calc and bio calc, and she helped me gain so much more knowledge in math in general. By all means you need to take her! She's understanding and such a delight to have as a professor. You don't need the book, but you must do all homework!

Cindy is one the most dedicated, understanding, personable, and entertaining professors ever. Always available for help. Her presentations, homework, and in class assignments really help nail the concepts down. Her tests were open note but still a challenge. Don't skip. I took her Stats 1 for Summer 1, and am glad I did! Totally a "cool" professor!

Professor Roberts is very good at lecturing. She does go very fast but everything is open note usually and she has made the course so that you don't need to purchase books. She is a huge cowboys fan so I'm sure it would be more fun during the fall to take her class.

You will NEVER have another teacher quite like Cindy (emphasis on "TEACHER" because she's one of the few who actually teaches) She made class fun, and was also very thorough with her delivery. There was a lot of homework because it was a summer class, but the homework was applicable to the subject and helped a ton with retention for the tests.

This class is fairly easy and Professor Roberts is an overall awesome professor! If you need help on understanding something, she is happy to help and you will understand the concepts easily if you take notes.

Easiest prof ever. First test is a group test, last one is a group online test. Final is a group project. Hw is a lot, but makes ti so you don't need to go to class. Only day attendance is mandatory is Fridays for groupwork. Only grades are Tests (easy) and hw (she works them in class for you). Also offers +10 on a test for going to UTSA games.

She is very friendly, helpful, and organized. Makes youtube videos to explain some of the harder material and is very accessible since she can be contacted through social media. Tests were somewhere in between not easy or too hard if you studied her review.

This class was an easy A ONLINE, everything you need is online. She is very fast at responding if you have questions. She gives Practice quizzes every week that are not required to do but count as extra credit, along with one application and test that count. and 2 group projects.

Amazing professor , one of the best professor at UTSA. If you work hard you will get an A, but don't expect it just given to you. Makes herself available anytime of day. Lots of extra credit opportunity. Wiley plus can be a pain in the butt but other than that its the most amazing class in my undergrad career . Do yourself a favour and pick Cindy!

Amazing professor, she is there for you when you need her. I took her online for MS 3043 she provides her own videos, reads, everything you need to work out all the assignments she gives so there is no being lost in this course. Extra credit is given as well.I recommend her to the fullest, if you want to really learn statistics and do great.

Cindy was a great teacher. She is very fast and smart. She will take the time to explain the excel spreadsheets. I wish that she taught more classes in Statistics. Statistics is a tough subject, but she made this intense class, manageable. Students who don't read or practice are probably gonna have it tough.

Cindy is down right my favorite professor at UTSA. Her great personality and fun teaching style made me eager to show up to class, which is super rare. Her Stats I is much harder than Stats II but both are not ridiculous. You won't need the book, but is nice to have from time to time. A little sad this is my last class with her.

I audited her Stats I class in June & took Stats II in July. If you don't have a good foundation in the former, the latter will be much harder so be sure to brush up on it if it's been a while. She's a great teacher & provides you an insane # of ways to get in contact w/ her so it's on you if you can't figure something out & don't ask for help.

A fun stats professor! Her online class was the funnest thing ever and her feedback is precise! Her coursework is designed to teach you practical stats that you learn in graduate research and she makes things a lot easier. Her lecture videos are hilarious and helpful. She is the best stats professor hands down! I had a lot of fun in her class

Cindy is one of the coolest professors and UTSA. She makes a boring and hard class fun and easy. She gives a ton of extra credit and is always ready to help you with whatever problems you have with the homework. An outstanding professor and even better person.

You really wont regret taking Cindy. Im pretty sure shes the chillest math professor at UTSA, any of her past students would say the same. Its best to take her in the fall because you can get extra credit for going to football games and answering a math question. Shes accesible 100% of the time and has many ways to contact her. TAKE HER CLASS

Professor Cynthia Roberts, was a really caring and always wanted everyone to pass her class. If you do the assignments and do the reading, its an easy A. I took this class online and I loved that she was always easy to reach and answers her emails very quickly. Definitely recommend taking this professor for this course.

Knowledgeable, funny, caring, and wants you to understand and pass. She has helped me numerous times outside of class. She will make this hard course bearable and is soooo nice on tests too.

Cindy is a good prof, easy A if you put in some effort. she is VERY VERY engaged with her students, she is funny but very sarcastic which can discourage students from asking questions sometimes. She is a bit kooky but very smart and very good at teaching.

Her online lectures were short and sweet, and easy to understand. I was terrified of math, but she made calculus feel easy. She made accommodation for me after my group ghosted me. Professor Cindy is a really great calculus teacher, she genuinely cares about her students and is very supportive. I took the class online during COVID, it was a really nice experience as she made her class really organized and easy to navigate. She is sarcastic at times and will call students out for not doing what they're supposed to.

Hands down the most AMAZING math instructor i've ever had!!! The structure of her course made it easy to follow and learn Calculus. One of my favorite undergrad professors, truly cares for her students and does everything she can to make learning fun. Actually leaving a math class being able to apply the knowledge towards my career is so important to me and I was able to get that. This is the BEST professor you could hope to take. I took her course during covid but it did not feel like it. Takes her time explaining material, always available and willing to help, encouraging. Homework and groupwork due every week but its not awful. There was a decent amount of notes, homework and group work so you have to stay on top of it.

Professor Roberts is AMAZING!! Her lectures are easy to understand and are through playpostit, so you are given little questions as you learn. She is always available to answer questions and she cares about her students. Her tests can be hard, but if you review and go to office hours when you have questions, you will do great!!

SHE IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Take her! You will pass her class and she offers a lot of extra help and you get to work in groups(which is cool cause i love my group and they are fun!). She offers extra credit which is great because the second exam is kinda tough if you dont study. So, studying is a good thing to do which you can do with your group

Hilarious and amazing professor! Her lectures are very clear and she posts them with additional video on her yt channel along with hosting OH twice-three times a week. Shes very understanding and approachable and definitely doesnt make calculus feel like an upper divisional math

Cindy is the best professor I have and probably will ever have. I'm one of those people who never ask for help when I'm confused, in fear of looking stupid, and calculus is a difficult subject itself, but she was extremely supportive and ready to help whenever I needed it. It's very clear that she cares about her students on a personal level.

Cindy was hand-down the best professor I have encountered at UTSA so far. She goes above and beyond to help her students and makes sure you understand the material. If you are struggling, literally go to her office hours and she will help you out so much. Pro-tip: DO EVERYTHING even if it just extra credit trust me you will be rewarded if you do.

She's a hoot, lol. She ALWAYS responds in literally seconds. She'll help you with anything, but if you miss an assignment, you're screwed. You can only watch the graded lecture videos on the weekends, which is kind of annoying. Other than that she's really fun and wants you to succeed. Group work is big in her class, so prepare to talk.

Professor Roberts was one of the best professors I've ever had the pleasure of taking. Although my course was online I felt like I was able to learn so much about calculus. Her lectures are amazing and she's always available for any questions or concerns you may have. If you're able to take her I highly advise you do.

Cindy is a great professor! She cares A LOT about the quality of your education which makes her class some what difficult. She is very heavy on the you need to know this not memorized. She also has a humor not many students enjoy but that doesnt mean shes bad. Shes very transparent and always helpful with questions so definitely ask questions.

Cindy (as she likes to be called) is one of if not the greatest professors I've had, especially for calculus! She is very intriguing and knows how to teach in a fun and captivating way. In addition, she's understanding and extremely down-to-earth. I went from despising, to dealing with, to even liking calculus. You'll be in good hands!

Attendance isn't mandatory but I think you should attend all lectures and READ the announcement. She's funny and engaging, and her lectures are quick but have lots of info. I recommend this class, I actually understood the math even if it's online. There is a lot of work every week but it's manageable if you're not procrastinating. 10/10 recommend.

Miss Cindy is one of the greatest professors in this campus. Very fun in class and in the group chats. It is always a fun learning experience in her class, especially for something like Calculus.

Amazing professor. She is always available if you have any questions and will help you with anything. She makes calculus easy. Every week you have a playlist, desmos, webwork, and a discussion about desmos. For the tests and quizzes, make sure to show your work. Every week there is a mandatory zoom where you will work on a group assignment.

Cindy was hands down the best mathematics professor I have had. I honestly had to retake this class but it was because of my own fault. It is easy to slack behind because of how chill this class is. But, I 100% promise if you just pay attention in class, attend every lecture, you will 100% excel in this class.

Honestly my favorite professor yet. There is a decent amount of assignments every week but they are short and straight forward. If you put the bare minimum amount of effort to actually learn the material then an A+ is easily attainable. She is always available to answer questions and the assignments with group members are fun.10/10 would recommend

Hands down one of the best professors, I have probably ever taken at UTSA. There is 100 percent a lot of work, but she makes it easy to understand, where in my opinion it should be impossible to fail this class. The only thing that sucks about this class is the grading scale, but that has literally nothing to do with her. 10/10 Professor.

By far the best professor I have had here at UTSA. Professor Cindy explains her lectures very well and you can tell she wants all her students to learn and succeed. Be prepared to attend every online session and be placed into groups (it's not that scary). Also, there are no required textbooks for this course. Overall, take her if you can!

Cindy was the BEST professor I've ever had, genuinely. She's so funny and involved with her students, and makes calculus seem so simple. She offers extra credit for every test, makes sure you understand what's going on. She still talks in our groupme even though the course is over. I absolutely adore her, she's such a character.

LOVEDDDD Ms Cindy!!! Hands down best professor. You can tell that Ms Cindy loves what she does and her students. I was worried about calculus at first, but this course ended up being one of my highest grades. Even though this is an online class, it doesn't really feel any different than an in-person class. No exams and super accessible.

She is honestly such an amazing professor!! Always willing to help don't be afraid to ask, you can have so much fun with her projects, and a bunch of free 100s, and she always makes her classes fun and easy to understand. So many opportunities to learn and understand quickly and easily. Take her!!

She is simply the best professor out there. She is very available outside of classes, and she is always willing to help students learn. Her biocalc classes are online, and it is a project-based class, so it is pretty manageable. I would take her again if I could.

Amazing professor! The material is a little hard to understand at first but she is an amazing professor! The best at UTSA. I am so grateful there are professors that actually enjoy their as she makes learning fun and exciting.

Cindy is great, her class is project based which is great. She helps alot to make sure you understand. About 6 assignments weekly so can be time consuming but its really not hard. Best Professor I've had. No tests and online lectures are easy to follow. Only come to class to do group assignments that are quick and easy. Easy to get in touch with and will explain anything you need help with. So nice and passionate. All assignments, which are Notes, Desmos, WebWorks & Quizzez, done online and are open book. Made calc so easy.

Cindy is an amazing professor who genuinely cares about her students. Her classes are engaging and she's always willing to help. Using unstuck ai and the free textbook, I found the content manageable and ended up with a great grade.

Love Ms. Cindy!!! Even if you're not good at math, she makes class so easy and you still gain so much knowledge from her. Class is only once a week, you meet to do group work that is fairly easy. Sometimes class is formatted into math related games that are actually really fun. Keep up with webwork assignments/quizzes and playposits!

Cindy genuinely helped me gain confidence in my mathematic abilities. Her class heavily incorporates teamwork and critical thinking. Really interactive and hands-on learning. Perfect for visual learners and/or those who struggle understanding mathematical concepts the first time.

This class was super easy. The professor is super chill. Attendance counts b/c it's a project based course. Class time is fun. There are a lot of canvas assignments but they don't take that long. No tests or quizzes. If you're looking to take get credit for calculus take this class!!!
