I love this teacher. She is very knowledgeable of this subject. I am going to take her again next semester. Her test aren't hard because she gives you a study guide. I would recommend her to anyone.

She is a great professor. I recommend her to everyone. Her grading is pretty easy to understand, and her assignments are created from the notes, so its at least an easy A. The test are fairly easy as well, just study the review that she gives out, and for the final, its the same questions as in her tests..Fully recommend, great teacher.

Cynthia was so sweet and so helpful, she didn't give any test except for the final and the final was open notes. Take her if you can she is so cool.

Cindy is a very sweet professor and very funny. She makes class very interesting everyday, you would not want to miss it. She is a very easy going professor, take her for every psychology class that she teaches.

She is very nice and sweet. As long as you get her notes and study with her review sheet and do the assignments you will get an A or B depending on you. She also tells very interesting stories.

Easy "A" online class, you ouline the book and write two papers.

I loved her class. She is very fun and laid back, but she also sticks to business when it comes to doing your work. She gives you bonus opportunities, so it's not too hard to get a good grade. I highly recommend her.. maybe my favorite prof. in all of college. You won't want to miss her class!

Dr. Stewart is a good professor. I have taken her before, but this semester she seemed a little out of sorts. She was overwhelmed we had many assignments to complete. She couldn't get them back in time. Hopefully things will be better for her next semester.

I enjoyed her course.As long as you READ and complete the three papers by applying what you learned, you should do well. I made an A and enjoyed including my kids in the studies that we were required to do. You will read every chapter in the book and there were four exams. Interesting material...do not let the first chapter scare you!!

Education Psychology Online: Great class and would be beneficial to anyone wanting to be a teacher. There were 4 exams and 1 paper due. Keep up with your reading and you should do well. Exams are tough as you have to apply reading to scenarios.

Don't believe the hype. This is one of the most stress-free professors at UHD. I've taken her for 3 classes. Love it!!

I am not understanding some of the ratings. If you read the full syllabus and website you won't have any issues. I find the work to be very easy. And I am great at writing papers so this class was easy and she seemed like a nice person.

she explained that her first few online discussions would be easy, and as time progressed she would grade them harder. Dr. Stewart is very excitable and funny with her lectures, making it easy to sit through, while learning. All in all to me her class was never boring, its was interesting, and i learned.

Prof. Stewart is AMAZING!! I took this class online and got an A. She grades fairly and anyone who thinks she grades papers too tough needs to remember that this is an upper COLLEGE level course!! I recommend her to anyone! I am not the smartest student in the world, took 20 hours and still received an A!There are NO TESTS & only 1 5-page paper!

Dr. Stewart is an excellent professor, excellent communicator and grades according to mastery, If you listen, follow instructions, and be receptive to learning you'll be fine. I would consider her to be one of the better professors at UHD's psych department.

Took class in Spring 14, online easy class as long as you follow the syllabus and submit assignments on time. Had a research paper due and weekly discussion( at least 500 words original and reply to classmate)

If you're smart enough to know how to research things a bit - you'll pass this course with an easy A - took it online during the summer - all self paced. A bit reading intensive, but if you're smart and intuitive, and know how to find things - you'll breeze through this class. Great prof.

Professor Stewart is great! Gives good feedback and is very clear in what she wants. A paper, discussion posts, and quizzes. Very good to take. Would definitely take her again.

This teacher has changed my life! She is an AMAZING and inspiring teacher whom I hope to one day resemble. She is so kind hearted and so knowledgeable. Participation is a must especially since this was an online course. Do NOT miss an assignment unless you have a Drs. excuse. She responds dilegently. TAKE her you will not regret it!

This professor is honest, intelligent, gentle, caring, and loving to all her students. Simple, just do what she asks and expect what you put in! You earn your grade in this course, get your work in on time and everything will be fine. Online course requires focus and determination, you must stay on top of your work and it will pay off in the end.

We had five discussion posts, and they were insanely long (initial AND response posts being 800 words minimum)! The discussions were probably that long because there were no exams. We also had to do 10 quizzes and an application activity. All the assignments were open online, so you could finish the course in a week if you wanted to.

This was my second semester taking Dr. Stewart for a class and I must say, I absolutely LOVED it! Do not believe those who rated her as "poor" because they were probably the ones who were late on turning in assignments or something. I took the class online and the quizzes were self paced which I loved. The discussion boards are not that tough.

Professor Stewart teaches an excellent on-line class. The tests are open book and are not timed. The discussion questions are easy to answer. You can finish her on-line class in a week if you want to because all her materials are posted on blackboard at one time. She reads all emails sent to her and answers all questions.

I really loved this class. The work was not overbearing and it was not a heavy workload. Although there are five 800 word discussions and reposes its really not that bad and the topics are interesting so writing 800 words is not a challenge at all. There quizzes are easy and not timed. AWSOME TEACHER! TAKE HER!

She is the best professor I've ever had. She helps you every step of the way. She teaches with so much passion, it's hard not to get into what you learn. She has given me the boost I needed to get through this normally painful statistics class. To sum it up: If you have to choose between ANY professor at UHD and Dr. Stewart, choose Dr. Stewart.

She's just an overall great human. She understands life can happen and is flexible. Never a dull moment with her.

I just finished taking this class for the summer I session and I really enjoyed it. There are 10 untimed quizzes and 5 discussion post. The discussions you have to write 1000 words for your original and reply. As long as you follow her criteria for the post and write a thoughtful response you will do just fine. I got an A. I recommend her.

Special Projects. 2 online & inperson meetings. There's a fair amount of writing each week. She's a passionate, nice, and interesting prof & person, so I wish i had taken her before in person! We were confused on the analyzing stats part of the major group project, but the project is satisfying & you become familiar with domestic violence psych.

10-12 quizzes. 5 majors discussions (1000) word count each. Clear grading criteria. No midterm, no final. Quick to respond. Gives good feedback. You will need your textbook for the discussions and the quizzes. Reading is not that bad. The syllabus is in line with textbook. Great professor!

I really enjoyed this class , in the beginning I saw the discussions and was like omg why so many words. I learned a lot in the class and also about myself through the readings .

She is one of the nicest professors I have had. The part of this class that was the hardest for me was the homework. She doesn't teach you what is on the homework so you basically have to learn it yourself & most of the problems are very long and time consuming. Besides that, she is very caring and willing to help.

This is a required class I have never been good with this type of class, but the teacher made me feel at ease to teach the class. I would take her again for other classes. Did not really use the book, no final. Great teacher really wants you to understand without looking down on you.

Shes an easy teacher and grader.

Great Prof In this class we had a 10 pg literature paper. Every week you had to turn in sources for diffrent topics that you will include in your paper. It makes it easy when the paper is due you have basically been working on your paper the whole time. Do the research keep on track no final exam. I would take her again she understands students.

She is great. I am hoping I pass I just have one more assignment to be graded. She says go at you own pace but this is only for the quizzes not discussions. One is due maybe every 4 weeks. And one paper due at the end of the course. Try to do everything at the start of class.

I did enjoy the class. Be prepared to write on your discussion posts!! We had to write an 800 word original post and respond with 800 words to 1 peer (there were 5 discussion posts). The quizzes were easy and untimed also the major project was easy too. Overall not a difficult class at all.

Dr. Stewart is seriously probably one of the most caring professors I have ever had. Although she can be hard to reach, her syllabus gives you everything you need to succeed in class. If your the type that doesn't need clarification on things then easy A. But if you do you'll still get an A but you'll just feel frustrated at times

Amazing professor who cares all about students succeeding and understanding the course content. She also understands being a working student and/or parent. She definitely demonstrates her passion through her knowledge and lectures. She provides curves and opportunities to bring up your grade! Definitely recommend and would take her again x1000!!!

Great professor! Tough grader but does it to help her students succeed. Must keep up with assignments and meet deadlines to receive full credit. Participation is also required. Discussion posts, read text book and projects. She provides lots of feedback with every assignment which I liked.

The lectures are super interesting. Each one introduces a novel zoonotic disease. You solve a zombie apocalypse as part of a group assignment. It's a creative and fun way to apply what you learn in class. However, you must participate regularly with your group; otherwise, you will not perform well. She is my favorite professor by far.

I waited a semester to get into this class because I wanted to take it with her specifically. Her course is EXCELLENT. It helps you prepare your application materials. It is invaluable, and no one else does anything like this. She gives a ton of feedback, so your application materials are ready for your future job search.

Dr. Stewart wants students to have the skills needed for job success. Her course offers job-ready skills that helped me find a job after graduation. She also writes great letters of recommendation for students she knows well. I've taken her for many classes. She is by far the best professor in Health and Behavioral Science.

This class covers a lot of material. The book has over 20 chapters, so you should read more than one chapter per week. But Dr. Stewart knows her stuff, and her lectures are really interesting. You select the discussion topic, which I liked because I got to write about things that interested me. She's kind and approachable. I would take her again.

This is the third class I've taken with Dr. Stewart. I would take all of my classes with her if possible. She is caring, and her lectures are engaging and informative. She wants her students to succeed and works with us. She is the best professor I've had at UHD.
