THE BEST TEACHER EVER-VERY VERY VERY EASY!!! very interesting and is FUN!

Mrs Stiller has a very annoying voice and she talks constantly throughout the course. Almost everything she says is pointless beacuse you can just read the chapter and get an A on the tests. She is very nice and helpful and she grades easy. Would recomend but bring a pillow.

She is a good teacher, but she does tell alot of stories.In advance she gives you the info that will be on the test. You will have to do some reading from the book as she doesn't go over everything that will be on the test.

She talks a lot during the semester, pretty much everyday. All you have to do is study the study guide, read a little from the book nad your straight. 4 tests 1 easy paper. her tests are not exactlly like her study guide, but enough to keep you on track.

Very easy class if you take notes. I read a little but it was my senior year in high school, so i wasn't all there. Anyway, i didn't use the book too much but the exams are easy (if you pay good attention) and if you do well on the final project. GooD Luck.

She is so nice and has lots of stories about her past jobs, gives EC, take good notes they are her test, will tell you how to get govt jobs and to get involved in govt

She brings a sense of hope as she speaks about the government. A vibrant woman that has a rich and colorful past, she will reveal her personal triumphs and tragedies, in class. Extremely well spoken, and appearance is youthful. Given the remedial nature of 131, she explains subjects as if to an elementary class. This contributes to the easiness.

She is the best teacher!!! Soooo easy. I recommend u take her. She is the bomb diggidy.

Mrs. Stiller is great! She shares a lot about her personal life and her previous jobs...she's a really well-rounded person. She grades fairly, her study guides ARE the exams. Lots of extra credit. Take good notes and you'll get an A for sure. TEAM STILLER!!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Took the class in the Spring. TAKE GOOD NOTES. Fill out study guide based on notes. Ask her if she didn't cover something on the study guide and she'll tell you. Exams are based on class notes so don't miss. Never even opened my text book and passed with an A. She made me interested in Politics when I wasn't at all before.

VERY EASY CLASS! tests are based off of notes so coming to class is mandatory. She gives you a study guide for every test AND the final. She gives 10 extra credit points to every test also! EASY A CLASS. TAKE HER! SHE IS GREAT!

She is a great teacher, very clear, intelligent, strong woman, not bias, she gives you study guides for every test, she always gives chances for extra credit, talks about her personal experiences, very clear about the basics for Political Science when at times it can be confusing. very interested in the subject of political science. always extra credit on exams. to get an A in this class all you have to do is show up most of the time and take good notes. if you miss a day its not a big deal because she gives you a study guide that has everything on the exam so you can look it all up in the book.

I thoroughly enjoyed Mrs. Stiller. She was super nice, and very accommodating. She offered Extra credit through out the whole semester, and on every test. She is very knowledgeable about the subject matter. Not knowing a whole great deal about poly sci, I came out of the semester a lot stronger in the subject matter. Highly recommended.

She honestly is a great teacher. I learned so much in Mrs. Stiller's class and only missed one class out of the 4 month long semester because I enjoyed hearing her stories and listening to her lectures. Her class is not a blow off class. You have to study and take notes but she's fair and offers extra credit. I wish she taught different classes:)

Nicest teacher I have ever had. Her face puts a smile on mine. She is very helpful. She does not stress out her students, and her exams are easy for anyone who studies a little. I recommend her to anybody!

Bottom line: you want an easy A without showing up to class, take her. If not, then take another professor. Simple as that.

she is soooo nice i love her lectures i didn't hsve sny idea about politics but after taking her class i learned alot. you hsve to study but you will be sooo happy after learning everything about politics i would highly recommened her i wish she teaches other classes i'll be back to her class to enjoy her lectures.she is the bestttttt

Mrs. Stiller is a super nice teacher! She has awesome stories to tell. Her tests were really easy for me because I studied the study guide. TONS of extra credit is offered. Only homework we had the whole semester were two essays, which she gives to help boost your grade because she grades very leniently. Highly recommended!

Mrs stiller is a great teacher. She never assigns hw, there arent even any quizzes. There are 2 tests and a final, and she gives you study guides in advance which are really helpful. She also gives extra credit on her tests. She is a blow off and an easy A. I highly recommend her.

It was my first semester at HFCC and I was late to register so I got stuck in her class. Little did I know it was more advanced than 131. Easy A. Don't buy the book. She writes everything on the board that you need to know. Show up to class, pay attention, and take notes and you will get an A without even breaking a sweat. There is no HW, and she only gives test. She makes the class fun and interesting. If you need an easy A, take her.

Very easy class. Only studied the study guide the night before the test (in some cases the morning of the test) and I got an A. Her class will drag at times but it's really easy. I didn't need the book at all so I recommend not buying one!

She is a great teacher, she knows her stuff and she is very helpful and she hands out study guides before tests, if you do those study guides and know the words you should have no problem passing this class if you want to. I had no interest in politics in any way until I took this class, I'm taking her again for international relations just for fun

Mrs. Stiller's a great teacher. She tells lots of funny stories about her family that fit into the lesson. You don't need to bring your book to class, but it is advised to buy one and study from it since she uses it on her exams and the final is made by the department and not just her.

Well she's not as easy as everyone says. Tests are really hard! She was a nice teacher no doubt about that but I would've probably taken it with a dif teacher. Don't buy a textbook you won't need it.

Mrs. Stiller is AWESOME!! She's such a sweetheart and is genuinely enthusiastic about the subject. We only had 4 tests (with a study guide given) and a project, which was really cool. But the questions are in essay form and she does not like brief answers, so you still need to know your stuff! Overall great class and I can't wait to take her again.

Professor Stiller is super passionate about what she teaches. This class was always engaging, and she does a great job of presenting need ideas clearly. She's also a great lady in general. She seems to trust the student to decide how much they want to get out of the class. Tests are essay questions taken from the lectures and textbook.

She was amazing. So helpful, so knowledgeable. I'm so happy I took this class with her. You'll have some tests, but as long as you go to class and take notes, you'll be more than fine. She's been promoted, and I'm not sure she will actually be teaching anymore, but if she is- TAKE HER.

Four exams including the final and one powerpoint project. She's awesome. Very knowledgable, fair grader. She gives the information you need to know. Gives study guide for the exams. I always feel prepared for her tests and I don't start studying until the day before (oops) but yeah she's great, take her.

Great class. She gives extra credit, loves being there, and wants to see everyone pass. Had little to no homework, besides studying, and a total of 4 exams which she helps prepare you for weeks in advance. Great notes and fair grader. She is also associate dean, so she's very busy an still manages to complete everything and provide notes.

One of the best teacher at HFC. I was a dual enrollment student taking my first college class and it was wonderful experience for a first class!

Professor Cynthia is an amazing person all around, she speaks from personal experience on a lot of issues. Tests, quizzes and homework are really easy. The only thing is, it was hard taking notes, they were kinda all over the place. But if search the words yourself, youll be fine.

I had Stiller as my first dual enrollment professor during the Covid-19 pandemic. I definitely recommend her as a professor if you are taking your first college course. Overall POLS 131 was a very easy course.

Super easy class with her. She just talks most of the our about her life and what were learning. Easy A. I ly homework we had was vocal words.

Take her. One assignment per week, a total of 2-3 essays for one semeters. Essays are not at all difficult, one to two pages long, but super easy. If you're bombarded with a bunch of classes and need more credits to fill, she is the perfect professor to have. I prefer to have 10 of her giving out assignments than the professors I have now. 10,000/5

She is very nice and understanding, and her class was super easy. My only complaint is that she takes FOREVER to grade assignments. With the essays and discussion boards, you won't know what grade you got until the semester is over.

The class was very easy but the only issue is that she never answers her emails. I would sometimes have questions about an assignment and she never answers. Another issue was that you never know whats your grade is until the semester ends which is very annoying. The only assignments in the grade book are only the tests.

professor stiller is amazing shes so sweet all we did was take notes while she lectured most days she would split us into groups every once and a while we had 3 exams all multiple choice she gave a lot of extra credit and always gave 10 points no matter how you did the extra credit as long as you did it she wants to see her students succeed

If you going to take a Political science course this is the one for you!! I LOVED this professor. Her directions are clear every day. You will take good notes and her grading system is easy to maintain. Her testing is very easy and fair. She will do a lot to help your grade and learning including giving extra credit opportunities. I recommend!!!!!!

TAKE STILLER! we walk in she takes attendance, take notes, she writes on the board she keeps us engaged but isn't asking us questions. Gives plenty of extra credit either outside of the classroom or when taking a test. she gives study guides but its more than enough she lets us know when the test is, she does a little study session with everyone

i took this online. such an easy class, just an assignment every week, final exam at the end of the sem, and 2 SHORT essays in total. My only complain is that she hasnt put any grades in yet and were already in the middle of the semester. So, honestly idk how im doing atp in the class but the assignments r rlly short and easy. id take her again.

Genuinely such an easy class. Discussion post every Sunday, but you don't have to reply. We do short essays, like 2-3 paragraphs, like once a month. I've gotten a 100% on all. Take this class, I promise you're not gonna regret it 😭
