Tomovic was one of the more helpful professors I have had this semester, I was very lucky to have come across SEPS 302 as an option for a required elective course. I may not be a management major but I do think this course taught material that is useful for pretty much any job you can imagine and I would highly recommend this course for everyone.

With a paper every week this class is challenging but seems easy as the modules are split up in a manner that makes sense. I had a great learning experience with Professor Tomovic along with the rest of the class. Everything in the course is well laid out and will be a plus if you are entering the world of supervision or brushing up on more ideas. The list of assignments may look scary at first but once you tackle the first few everything flows.

Easy grade that does require some work. The work consists of about 1/2 page paper every week and your response to several comprehension questions that need to be in your own words. There is a final assignment but no tests. I've got great feedback and she was very responsive to emails which is nice.

Hands down this has unexpectedly been one of my favorite classes I've ever taken at ODU! I work full-time in a corporate setting and the material from this course is so resourceful! Homework is straightforward, you MUST read the chapters to complete the homework. Tests/Quizzes are based on the chapter reading and powerpoints provided.

The feedback was excellent and she cared about the topics. For a quick course with exciting work and no stress, just easy learning, you should take this class.

The quizzes are about the exact content discussed in the lecture. The PowerPoint lectures are beneficial, and she includes notes on some of the slides for a better understanding. For each module, there is a writing assignment which is very interesting and informative since you are required to find a current event article that relates to the module.

Professor Tomovic is amazing! She grades fast and provides good feedback. There is 2-3 assignments a week, but all assignments are clear and simple if you do the reading. Would recommend this course and professor to meet upper-level gen ed requirements.

Professor Tomovic is such an amazing professor. She gives great feedback on all homework. We had weekly chapter quizes (unproctored) that comes straight from readings and were extremely easy. We also had two essays (beginning and end) that are slightly time consuming, but easy. You have to try to fail this class.

I took this class during the Maymester. It's accelerated and assignments are due almost daily, so you need make sure you're on top of managing your time. The class was 16 assignments - 8 journal responses and 8 current event assignments that were one page each. Dr. Tomovic structured the class so it wad digestible and relevant. Interesting content!

I took the maymester course the assignments were easy if you read the textbook and other class material. This was an asynchronous class with all modules opened up at the beginning of the course so you could work at your own pace. Instructor was quick to grade assignments and provide constructive feedback.

Genuinely a fantastic teacher! While I did not have the pleasure of meeting in person, the online asynchronous experience was great. I took this as a summer class and did the 5 quizzes, 2 tests, and 5 hw in one day. I got an A or B on each quiz/test, and shes a pretty easy grader with the HW even though i turned one in late. I finished this class 2 days into the semester since she had everything open and available to do/submit. She says HW takes 2 hrs each, but its only 20 mins.

Dr.Tomovic helps build critical thinking skills. When taking this class in the Maymester format, it was challenging. Dr. Tomovic helped create a nice routine that's helped smooth out the journey! There is a lot of writing, but that's to be expected in a writing course.

The material was conveyed clearly; however, I had trouble meeting deadlines because they were often during the week, and I work 2 jobs in addition to taking classes online.

Quizzes and a short paper were due each week, with two larger projects throughout the course. There were no exams. It was a fair amount of work, but the assignments were straightforward and manageable. Dr. Tomovic is very nice, easy to talk to, and an easy grader, which made the class low-stress and enjoyable. *Need the Textbook

Dr. Tomovic Is a wonderful professor. She has amazing feedback that I have helped me think even more deep in the process. I enjoy her lectures and the way that her class is set up asynchronously. It is not too much work, but the perfect amount to allow your brain to let it sink in what is being taught. So I highly recommend taking her class.

Ms. Tomovic created an environment where you felt supported, challenged, and encouraged all at once. I am truly grateful for everything I learned and the confidence I gained because of her guidance.
