Excellent Instructor, very helpful

Her tests are pretty hard. Make sure you read the chapters very well and understand the info. She is really helpful and will help you. Her tests are extremely hard though, and you are very pressed for time on the tests.

She is very sweet but still commands respect. Gives a lot of homework and calls on students to answer the questions; rewards hard work. Has strict rules but overall it is for your own good. Gives a review and sample test for each exam. Expects you to work hard. I'd recommend her.

Amazing teacher!! It was hard for a couple of my classmates to keep up though. I recorded all of my lectures and listened to them to make sure I took good notes. Most of the time I missed something really important the first time. She really prepares you for the test and homework is mandatory. But if you do the the homework you can do the test.

I took her online acct 2301- she curved all the tests which were not really easy but not extremely difficult. Nice lady.

Very good teacher. Does not mind answering questions and going over them until everyone understands. Gives extra credit and good reviews before tests and final. 3 tests and a final. Do the homework! It is hard but the work is rewarded. Don't be late. She does take attendance and will drop you if you miss too much. Easy to pass if you do the work.

If you take the time to study how your jounalized entries will look before her exams, do it. It took some time before I realized they can be the most time consuming which eats at your time allotted for the entire test. Throw her some humor now n then

The homeowork is easy. SHe gives you all of the homework answers except yours, but you can reference you accounting problems with others problems that are usually the same. Take time to learn the accounting steps, because that takes all of you time. I did well on the homework, but the test are hard.

attendance and homework are a must. take meticulous notes if it's on the board it's on the test. she will answer all questions over and over until you understand it. you must understand the concepts in order to pass the test so you will have to study the material. pay attention the first couple of weeks and you'll be fine

She is very fair but the tests are HARD! Attendance is mandatory. The final exam counts double but she given an awesome review. Take maticulous notes, especially for the final. She practically gives you the final and allows notes. You will work for an "A" but will learn a lot!

You gotta love Mrs. White!!! She's the kind of woman who knows how to make her students understand complicated concepts and formulas. Read the book, do the homework and you got yourself an A.

Ms. White is a very good prof. She is always eager to help and makes the material easy to understand. VERY fair. The material is hard, but she finds ways to help you learn/memorize it. Highly recommended. Don't take this class if you are looking to slide by. Take it if you enjoy learning in a "no bs" environment.

The last student evaluation was probably left by the student who disrupted the class constantly. Great instructor but has no tolerance for slackers. She mentioned UT one, maybe two times in four months. There is always one in each class who resents excellence. Take this instructor if you want to learn. Don't take her if you are lazy.

Great instructor. You will need to attend her class and do not sleep. You will get a "W". If you work hard, show up & participate with the discussions, you will do good. Study groups are a big help for her class.

I also felt like I taught myself most of the time, but she's willing to help, if you ask. Lots of online assignments for homework. 4 exams, the last of which is a cumulative final over the whole semester. It's hard, no doubt. She lets you bring a note card to the final, so that helps a lot. She's a stickler on attendance & can act hateful at times.

Definitely a hard course. Not an easy A. Mrs. White can be annoying at times with all her strict rules but she means well. I never did the practice assignments, therefore I never participated in class. I paid attention when she spoke, and attended every class. I studied thoroughly for exams which explains my A in the course.

I took this class spring 2012 online. It is a hard class, but you use the Aplia online (similar to my mathlab)and the problems are verywell explained. You have a comprehensive final which is really hard. But she is an awesome teacher! She always replied to e-mails very quick. If you put in the work you should pass. But need to do alot of homework.

She is AWESOME! She is always there for us and she answers all the questions in no time! I had no idea about accounting, yet with her guidance I learned a lot. Don't skip your homework!

Professor White is passionate about teaching and is available to answer any questions a student may have. She wants to see consistency in the students and a lot of effort. Her exams covers lectures and homework. Keep your review tests, you will need them for the final. She reflects on her education and understands the challenges her students face.

Ms. White is a very good professor. She has good intergrity that she can shared with us esp those accounting major and will try to help you in every way she can. Ms.White is the GREATEST teacher at CTC, she cares about her students and is passionate about Accounting. She will do everything possible to help you understand the material and put your knowledge to work thru her exams. Show Up on time, Do your homework, participate in class and study for the exams. I actually took 2301 & 2302 with her online. You will have to read every page of the chapter if you want to catch on and do well throughout the semester. She gives you lots of practice problems to work which will really help if you work them. Exams are a little hard but are manageable if you study! I would recommend her any day!

Professor White is a very helpful teacher. I took Acc 1 + 2 with her in classroom. The class itself requires a lot of work and practice from the student, no matter which professor he take. I can only recommend Professor White for this course. If you put in the effort you'll do great

I don't know who the previous ratings were about, but Professor White was awesome! She's very passionate about the subject, has much experience in the field, and is always willing to help. As long as you do your homework and read the chapters, you will do fine in this class. She's very sweet and funny and definitely cares about her students!

White is very helpful and a very nice lady. But, her class is really hard. You have to put a lot of time and effort into this class. DO THE HOMEWORK. IT's important. You will need it to make up for test grades.

Prof. White is an outstanding teacher. She keeps the class interesting and understands that not everyone is there to be an accountant. However, she takes pride in knowing that you will ate an understanding of accounting when you leave her class. One of the best instructors I have had at CTC, would take her for 2302 if it was in my degree plan.

Prof. White wants you to succeed. She goes out of her way to help you and accommodate your needs. The class in itself is hard, but her instruction makes it a little easier. She is a great teacher

very time consuming class, but do your work and you should be fine. gives you review sheets before the exam. STUDY THEM, you'll need it. on the final you can use 1 page of notes, and the final replaces you lowest exam grade! Good Luck!

The book is mandatory to pass either the online (wileyplus) ebook or the textbook itself. She assigns practice homework and regular homework the practice homework is just that and she always covers it in class so do it. Participation matters and the practice homework is an easy 100. Taking for ACCT 2302 with her. Yes Yes Yes!!

She gives lots of opportunity to pass. Do all the work, 1 its good practice and 2 she looks if your failing but do everything she assigns shes more opt to bump your grade if your close to pass verse if you dont do the practice work and fail it shows a lack of effort. Great prof. will take again for sure.

Professor White was very helpful when I calledemailed with questions. I took this class online and I recommend that only the self-discipline enroll online. You will read a lot, but ensure that you complete the practice homework as it's VERY helpful. I'm surprised at the negativity, but I suspect these individuals didn't do what was needed to pass.

I took her for ACCT 2301 & 2, she is amazing. She shares her own personal study tips, she gives plenty of opportunity to pass, don't give up and always try. She has been one of my favorite professors, highly recommend especially for such a difficult class.

One of the better accounting teachers at CTC. The tests are a little long for the time allotted but understanding the material will help you pass. Using WileyPlus is essential to understanding the material. If you have questions, she is an email away. I did have to send her a 2nd email once due to no reply but that's about it.

lectures each chapter and then goes through the practice hmwk. if you have practice homework done, you can earn participation points-which she uses as extra credit. DO THE PRACTICE HMWK! helps you and if you need a grade boost in the end she will most likely give it. final replaces lowest test score and you get to use a notecard. taking her again!

Professor White is a great professor. Her lectures help you understand the subject. You have to read the book otherwise you will not pass the course. Professor White assigns plenty of homework to go along with each chapter. It helps you to truly understand what you are learning. Participation does matter, could help with your final grade.

Ms. White herself is great and does know a lot about accounting, however this class is pretty rough. YOU NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK! That homework and extra credit for class participation can really help you in the long run. She might go off on a couple of soap boxes but all in all shes great.

The instructor was nice but the class was intense. The grading was limited to one try which determined your grade and if one typed something wrong, the program would mark the problem wrong. Must be careful when submitting due to only 10 assignments that weigh heavily on your grade. Must read the textbook to gain an understanding of assignments.

Ms. White is an awesome professor! I took her online and her class is pretty cut and dry. Do your homework and exams and you will do great. She even has practice homework problems with solutions to help get through the graded homework portion. She also is really good about responding to any questions via email.

Shes strict her assignments are fairly spaced out and the information is nicely explained and self explanatory. I took her online business class. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT MISS ANY ASSIGNMENTS OR EXAMS even if youre sick or hospitalized she WILL NOT OPEN TESTS BACK UP FOR YOU WHAT SO EVER! Turn in all assignments and take all exams youll pass.

I loved her online class b/c it was pretty straight to the point. You read the chapter, do the HW , then do the quiz. I also bought the chegg study membership so it helped me a lot when I got stuck and needed help on the homework. I recommend getting it, it also helps me with macro. If you hate writing this class is perfect. The DB isn't mandatory.

Does not really interact with students. Tests are exactly like the homework and now she gives plenty of time for exams. I was scared to take this course due to other reviews here. However, it seems that she has improved from these comments.

GOOD:everything is up front, spelled out with concise objectives and goals. Enough chances for extra credit to not fail. Professor is interactive when challenges arise. BAD:lots of modules, practice, quizzes, etc but they do build on concepts. UGLY:How do you eat an ELEPHANT? one bite at a time! This class takes lots of TIME clear your calendar.

Ms. White was a pleasure. You must read in order to pass quizzes and test. your treated like a college student in her class and she expects you to do your part.

ACCT2302 has LOTS of work! Be prepared to spend hours completing the course work, In general accounting is very tedious so the work load was not surprising. I had no interaction with Professor White throughout this online course. However, I will say that I LOVE for each Lesson we are given the opportunity to complete extra credit! YOU WILL NEED IT!
