Great Teacher. Does well with feedback and pretty easy introduction to computer course to take!!

Loads of extra credit. Before i had my last assignment turned in i was over 110%! And thats with late work with deducted points. But that extra credit is a lot of participation. Even though its online. 2 assignments a week, which take maybe an hour total. You have to stay on task but it's an easy A! Loved him!!

Great teacher, a change from the usual. Laid back in lecture and interaction but when it came to the work he was VERY detail oriented and expected us to be that way too, much like a future boss would be

D.I. von Briesen was a tremendous help! I truly enjoyed how his class was setup. It's great how we can help our fellow classmates who are having trouble with something in the course by commenting through the class discussion forum. You could always expect an expedient response to your question when there is extra credit on the line.

If you are planning on taking this class. I would definitely take his. He gives good feedback. He has a section on blackboard for you to be able to talk to your classmates for help. He gives you plenty of opportunities to pass his class. Honestly, if you do the work you will get an A.

This was my first online course taken and the Professor did an amazing job at organizing each week's work. I would definitely recommend this instructor to other students!!

This Professor is the best , response to email fast and take a time to speak with his student on the phone and whiling to meet in his office I would recommend this class over and over again.

Good teacher, gives good feedback and replies to questions and doubts within hours. Would recommend taking an online class with this professor.

Glad I was required to take this class for my degree. I learned many new techniques within Microsoft Office Suite that I didnt even know existed. Professor D.I. Von Briesen was a great help throughout the semester and provided all the tools to obtain an A in his class.

There is no way you can't pass this class. Just do your work and the extra credit and you'll be fine.

WEB110 was my first class with Mr. von Briesen. While I struggled with the way the instructions for the class were organized, I think he's a great instructor, primarily because of his quality feedback. I'd rather disorganized instructions and helpful feedback than organized instructions and only numerical grades and/or lazy feedback.

Very laid back class. You are able to work ahead and finish at your own pace. If you keep on top of your work, you can finish the class early! The class is not difficult, you just need to manage your time to make sure you get through each chapter.

He is nice, very detailed on feedback and reachable. He will work with you to get things right. It takes a little bit for him to grade back assignments. At first, is a bit confusing to understand how the class is set up and instructions for assignments are not very organized. But once that is figure out is easy to follow. Tons of assignments!

He was a very cool teacher, very responsive, and consistent with the homework he gives. The class was not hard at all as long as you do the work and keep up with the schedule it will be a breeze.

Keep up with the assignments. If you are having trouble, do what you can to get your questions answered by posting on the discussion board or emailing him. Had him for the summer term, so pace was key!

Just a good Professor. not hard on grading and gives you time to complete everything. Very nice guy and will want to talk with you just because he likes to not because he has too.

Super understanding. I had him last semester at Charlotte and he was one of the best professors I have ever had. My grandfather passed during the semester unexpectedly and I had to stay home to take care of my family and he was very understanding of this and allowed late work to be submitted with this situation. He is a true gem of a person.

He was super and works with you so that you understand how to remember they action you have to preform in order to get the results looking for. He is very calm when you are feeling frustration and want to quit, he just relax you back into a better frame of mind, which is the older student.

Absolutely GOATED! Prof. Von Briesen is easily one of the best teachers you can have. He gives you ample opportunity to succeed. Only thing he requires is your best effort and a willingness to learn and follow basic instruction.

The professor is very nice and is very lenient on homework. This course does have a decent amount of work, but it can be considered easy. He also gives a lot of extra credit! I recommend working ahead in his class and trying your best not to fall behind.

Professor Briesen would be very explicit on the task at hand. If a student encounters any difficulty he would make sure to get back to the student as soon as possible as he understands time is essential.

This was one of my favorite professors out there. He uploaded everything and for his online class he had us work at our own pace but making sure we met the weekly criteria.

I learned so much in this class. I really enjoyed it. If you have to take this class I recommend you take it with this teacher! He was awesome very supportive answered all questions we had, an amazing person overall. He cares about his students and wants them to be successful. Highly respected, knowledgable and great communicator.

The class is helpful and the professor is great. You can redo most assignments and he will allow you to submit a little late if you get behind so you control your grade.

Professor D.I. is very helpful and what is required is very clear. If you have a busy schedule he can be accommodating to your schedule with class time and availability. He is very rapid with email and discussion board responses to questions about class work as well. I would definitely take a course with him again.

The Professor is excellent in setting up a full work schedule with clear tasks and deadlines. Gives feedback, reads all the emails, and have extra credit work also.

I highly suggest this professor. The class is fairly easy itself and the course lay out is easy to navigate. I suggest you to follow his clear assignment instructions and grading criteria. This course let's you do your assignments at your own pace so you could finish the class within the first 2 weeks but discussion board is due every week.

Professor von Briesen is a really friendly and caring professor. He is always reachable for questions and concerns. He has great stories to tell and it's fun to be part of his class in person. I really liked his "Introduction to Computers" class because one earns knowledge about more than the basics of applications like Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

He was really good! I would take his class again, it was easy as long as you keep up with the work schedule. Also, he was always willing to help you out with anything you need. I just struggled at the beginning while getting used to introductory assignments and understanding how things were graded, but in the end, it all worked out.

The class discussion board is very helpful. Most students place questions here so everyone can see. Mr. Brisen has great feedback and usually gives it back fast. I would take another one of his classes for sure!

Great professor and class. I would take again because I ACTUALLY learned a lot . You just have to be proficient and get the work done!

I found some glitches on test out plataform, but the teacher gave a few options to get extra grade and it overcompensated it. I learned a lot of new things! I had a online class and it was fun how the teacher made it looks lika a in person class using the journals for the students interaction.

Professor von Briesen was very patient with me. Early on, I felt overwhelmed and was considering dropping out of this course. In an email he convinced me to keep going and let me know what I needed and what I didn't need to do. His response encouraged me to keep going and to do my best. Thanks again, Professor!!!

A very good system that he has, some may think its a lot of work but if you manage your time well you will get a good grade.

Professor Briesen is absolutely one of the best instructors i've had the privilege to have. In his intro computer course, he gives more than enough opportunities to complete work and ask for assistance. I recommending not taking the leniency for granted, as it is very easy to let time fly. Very good guy. You can tell he isn't playing up an act.

This Professor is amazing you learn a lot but the course is easy.

To say my time with D.I Von was great seems an understatement. He was very chill and very understanding to every student needs. He would always follow up and have one on one conversation with students every morning about what they need to work on or what they are missing. I would definitely love to have him as instructor again.

It was a fairly easy class. It was similar to the other Microsoft classes I had in the past. If you are good at Microsoft, then it's pretty simple. Just do your work on time! He's really chill and laid back for the most part.

He is absolutely amazing! He provides ample time to complete the course, and it is self-paced. The assignments and online course are well-organized, which is rare for an online course. He was very dedicated to helping students pass without ever getting to know us!

The amount of work may seem like a lot at first but if you take it one step at a time and do a little every day then you will be just fine. He will give feedback on assignments with a chance to make improvements instead of just grading them and moving on. I highly recommend him as a professor, I've learned the most in his classes.

This is my second class with him and I couldn't be happier about it. He pushes for social interaction and excellence but in a caring and helpful way. Do the work and don't wait until the last minute and you will have nothing to worry about. He gives extra credit just for helping each other out which can benefit everyone.

Great professor, tries to stay up to date unlike other classes I've taken that teach outdated material. This isn't a class you can do the minimum so don't slack off and you will learn a lot. He is here to help you succeed but you have to do the work. Highly recommended this professor.

Professor Brieson is incredibly lenient. The due dates are set in stone, but the grace to make up those grades are amazing. Anything can be made up.

Professor DI von Briesen is an excellent professional. He always gives great feedback, holds live meetings in online classes, and is very patient in explaining anything we ask. I am glad I had the chance to participate in his classes and hope other students have the same feelings.

He is a great teacher! Very detail oriented. He gives you exactly what you need to know for each assignment and if you follow the instructions exactly as they are you should succeed in this class. Very helpful and quick to answer questions (accessible). Easy to talk to and fun guy all around!

The professor was professional, clear, and organized. They explained complex topics well using real-life examples and interactive activities. Classes were structured and easy to follow. The professor was approachable and supportive, truly caring about student success. One of the best instructors I've had.

This class is extremely easy as long as you don't become lazy. You just have to use Testout and do a daily update to your works logs and personal journel

I really liked this class and my favorite part is that there's only one due date for everything and its at the end of the term. Also weekly updates and inspirational messages really helped me and cheered me up a bit.

The professor was fair and reasonable and seriously gave you ample time to complete your assignments. There are a lot of assignments. If you are already computer savvy and have the know-how to complete tasks, you can probably beat his best student in this term's academia, I think it was 7 or 9 days or something like that.

A great class structure. I like his teaching style. He kept me informed and involved while keeping the topics interesting.

Even though this class was mostly online, I learned a lot about how computers work, despite being raised in that environment. This class will prepare you on how Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel function, which will be helpful in future endeavors or lectures.

I enjoyed this class! There is a lot of coursework to be completed, but the assignments truly help you learn about all of the necessary features of computer applications and artificial intelligence. I also loved how the professor provided several opportunities for extra credit!

Class Format is super understandable. It may seem like a lot of work at first - but trust- once you figure out the course format it is a breeze. There are so many grades in the grade book that tests do not hurt our score. I felt as though I could really focus on learning over just passing. 10/10 Would take again.

Absolutely amazing teacher, his online class is set up correctly and if you know what your doing then you are perfectly fine.

He made the class very fun and interactive. He gave a good chunk of assignments throughout the week and, as long as you keep up with them you can earn a fairly high grade. This is alongside with extra credit opportunities he gives as well. Responds very quickly to concerns and questions.
