Elliot was a good teacher. She wanted her students to understand the material and she was extremely knowledgeable on the subject. Reaction papers were somewhat difficult but she drops half of them so the chances of getting an overall good grade are greater. 3 tests in the class that were semi-difficult, but if you read the books you did well.

Dae really made us think about both sides of issues. She was tough on the papers but they weren't bad once you figured out what she wanted. She made the class interesting. Learned a lot from her and recommend taking her if you want to learn. Not a good class if you don't do the work. She expects you to do it.

Dae gives great opportunity to boost your grade through extra credit. If you want to get a good grade, get involved. If not, just do the required quizes/tests and your grade will be based on your earned points. The work load is extremely easy to manage, even with extra credit work. I would recommend this instructor to anyone who needs Soc 101.

She is a great teacher. The only thing that makes the clas difficult is that its fast paced. However, she really gives opportunities for you to get a better grade or to get help from her. Her email is always open and she is willing to make time for you to meet her for help. Shes awesome. But the class is boring

Soc Statistics is a fast paced class with tests every other week. DAE lectures and reviews for tests but most of the actual understanding will come from doing the hmwk (not graded). The math is not difficult but formuals are long and complex. She is always willing to answer questions and meet in Office Hrs. The difficult part is the conceptuals!

This class is amazing. As long as you attend class (which is wicked interesting), read all the articles she posts online, and watch all the movies, you'll do fine. She allows up to 35 pts of extra credit to bump your grade (which helps a lot). Would take this class again, it was really eye opening! Love her!
