Dagmara is probably the greatest T.A. out there...she's bubbly and helpful and makes even the cruddiest of days wonderful. I will absolutely miss her next year!

Dagmara is the most fun teacher EVER! I would have loved to have had her for all of my classes. She really brings people out of their shells and there are always great conversations in her class. Dagmara is the sweetest person I have ever met. Very genuine and honest. Only wishes the best for her students. Always willing to help. She's also very intelligent. Personable and helpful in understanding course assignments. Lots of 1 on 1 help with essays. This was my 2nd time in the course & I have to say she was a better TA last year. I blame the actual course this year; there was no direction and the course was a joke. Dagmara didn't seem to be enjoying it like last year, and neither were most of us.

Took inclusive education with this Prof last summer. Really knows her stuff, and her passion for kids with disabilities is contagious. Lots of readings and work for a condensed course, but she makes you care about reaching marginalized children. Plus, she brought in cake on her birthday for the whole class!

I just finished a course with this Prof as 1 of my Ed electives. I wish she'd teach all of them! I learned more in 4 weeks about working with disabled kids than in 4 years in the Ed program. She made waking up for 8:30 in the morning worth it. A+++++

This women is hysterical...my stomach would hurt from laughing so much in every tutorial. She is the most sincere and sweetest TA I have ever come across, she also made a horrible and frustrating class bearable. Only thing that drove me nuts is that she is hard to get a hold of ie: doesn't answer emails, other than that Dagmara is one amazing TA.

From the moment she jumped out of her seat, screamed and ran across the room 'cause she thought she heard a mouse, we all loved her! She's so genuine, and you know her number 1 concern is her students. Wish she taught 3311 too but I may just take a sex class to be in her tutorial again next year.

SHE IS AN AMAZING PROF!! I had her for an education elective and she was great. I hate 7-10 classes but I would never mind being in her class. She was energetic and fun all the time. I'm glad I had that experience.

Hilarious prof. She was my TA for SOSC 2110. Probably was the most entertaining class of my life. However, I am an A student but didn't like her marking that I had to drop the course.But it maybe only the course's marking scheme that wasn't good.Other than that she is very helpful passionate understanding,..she's awesome i never met anyone like her

She gives a good hints about what is going to be on the exams and what is she looking for in the essays. BUT ... she talks a lot about her life and because of that material is not covered enough. But she is still nice tutorial leader

Dagmara is an awesome TA and overall human being. I found the course material for 3112 very dry and uninteresting, but I enjoyed the tutorial immensely because of Dagmara. She is great with helping her students with the course material and letting them know what should be studied for exams. If you have to take 3112 you want her as your TA.

I had Dagmara for both a lecturer and a TA. She got the opportunity to teach a whole class this year, and I'm very thankful that she did. She's absolutely hilarious, really knows how to engage students, and is never boring. I had to leave York for personal reasons but I really hope I come across her in the future. Dagamara is a good teacher, however, she tends to go off track a great deal, you learn more about her kid than you do about the course readings. The class content is interesting but she does not do much expect for talk about her life, so you won't learn much. I would not take her again as I do not want to waste my money but she is super nice.

I loved being in Dagmara's class. She teaches course content through stories and narratives which helps make the material stick. She gives you exact instructions on what she expects in essays and exams and is always encouraging you to come to her office for extra help. Through the strike this year she was super helpful and supportive.

My favourite professor at York University!! Her lectures are interesting, fun, encourage class participation, and the slides are so helpful for essays, assignments and exams. She gives a paper with possible exam questions, so she really wants you to do well!! TAs Ann and Samar are great too. Also Prof. Davies! A solid course, with solid teaching!

This woman is a breath of fresh air in a department where it seems most profs have ironically forgotten how to be effective educators. Her classes are a pleasure to attend. You laugh and you learn and your reminded that teaching is a calling. You leave her class inspired and motivated each week.

I took 2111 this year with Dagmara as my TA. She did a great job keeping everyone engaged on zoom and gave us lots of opportunities to improve our grades. She teaches a lot of classes so it's hard to catch her on email but she warns you about that. I would take any class she was teaching.

I appreciate this prof very much. I struggled alot this year and her live lectures every Thursday made my week bearable. I looked forward to every class. Today my final grade was posted along with an email from her saying I could still submit a missing assignment to improve my grade. I appreciate her care so much to see all her students succeed.

A really great class, lots of opportunity to participate even in the zoom class. Prof really cares about everyone doing well in the course and was super understanding during the pandemic. Fun assignments and interesting lectures.

Highlight of this whole first year of uni was logging into her lectures every Thursday. Class would be over at 6:30 but most weeks Miss Dagmara stay in the zoom with us for another hour to ask questions or discuss the lecture. She really makes you feel like your success matters to her. She's the GOAT!

I loved the course content in this class and liked that there were lots of small assignments through the year. Dagmara is hard to get a hold of on email but has multiple office hours every week on zoom for you to drop in. She's a really nice lady. I appreciate that she made her class synchronous this year. Would take more classes with her for sure

Dagmara is an amazing prof and truly cares about her students. She teaches the material with a passion and actually tries to help the students understand. She explains the material really well. However, the TAs mark really hard. if you get a good TA then you will enjoy the course but if you don't then you will hate it. BUT overall prof is amazing.

Dagmara is a great TA for Comm in everyday life with Prof Kehoe. She goes over lectures and assignments in tutorial really well. I didn't have to watch the lectures because she covered everything that was important and explains it clearly.

Great teacher, her class is very manageable and she doesn't bombard you with essays or time-consuming tasks. All long as you do the readings and take notes at the lecture, her class won't be challenging.

Dagmara is a great ta for 2111. She is super supportive of her students and offers lots of opportunities to ask for help after class or in office hours. A good and easy course. Pretty easy assignments and not too many of them. It's really helpful to meet with Dagmara in office hours. She goes over everything with you that you need to do well on the assignments. Gives extensions too. Too bad the class wasn't synchronous as it would have been nice to get to know her better.

Nothing difficult about this class, it's all straightforward. A good amount of workload for a 3 credit course. Prof is really generous with extensions. The final exam is fair, right out of the lectures. Not easy to get ahold of the Prof on email but lots of office hours even on the weekend. Good choice for an elective.

Dagmara is an amazing TA for Comm in Everyday Life. She's really positive and supportive and goes out of her way to be helpful with assignments. She gets that we're struggling and she helps in anyway she can. Now that we're back on campus it's nice to meet her in person. Overall she's a great person and teacher.

Pretty easy course, haven't spent much time on any assignment and didn't get anything below 80 even when i didn't properly read the readings or watch the lectures, very doable to do any big assignment including the final overnight. The only minus is that she never replies to emails, like ever.

Dagmara is a great TA for 2111. She'll spend lots of time outside of class on Zoom to help you do well on assignments. She's really understanding about life. I'm graduating this year & had Dagmara for class 2 years ago. Looking back on 4 years at York I can honestly say that she is one of my standout profs. Best course and best prof! I'm waiting to see what she'll be teaching in the fall to take more courses with her. Dagmara is such a caring and supportive person and her lectures are interesting, timely and provoke you to think. You can't go wrong taking a class with her.

Her lectures are great, but your grade basically depends 100% on the TA. As a professor she's fun and engaging but is slow to answer emails and kind of leaves you hanging if you have something urgent.

Honestly most charismatic professor ever, so entertaining and very informative.

As a first-year student, Dagmara has to be the best professor at York. She's caring, always has a smile on her face, and is generally such a great professor. She cares about your mark, unlike most professors. The assignments and exams are super easy! She gives you a study sheet for the midterm and final. I also recommend Kelston Cort as your TA :)

She is the most kind, funny and flexible prof you'll have, she basically hands you the guide to success if you ask for it! Prof Woronko is hands down the best prof at York. The course is so interesting. If you're thinking of going into a health profession this course will open your eyes to positive & negative aspects of biomedicine. Weekly topics are presented from multiple perspectives & the final paper gives free reign. I wish every course was taught by Dagmara

Dagmara is a character always finds a way to change up her lectures in a way to make them accessible and easy to understand. she is hilarious and loves to insert her personal stories (and celeberty crushes) into lectures whenever possible!

She's super funny, but a hard marker and is very specific with her criteria (that she doesn't share until you've already written the exam). She is super disorganized, doesn't respond to emails very often, doesn't post something until later than promised. This course is very interesting and fun, but I don't recommend if you want an excellent grade.

She teaches a subject I am really not interested in, but her lectures always managed to straddle the line between being very informative and very engaging/fun to listen to, which made it significantly more tolerable for me. She's very personable and approachable, and she really cares about everyone. Overall really really fun professor

I am not a sociology person myself, but this course had inspired me about so many public health issues in society today. Professor Woronko engages all students in the class, she cares about her students, and facilitates discussions in tutorial and lecture. Grading is very subjective however.

I would take any class with Dagmara! Seminars fly by so quickly because of the great convos and interesting content. She is a gem in the university and every course taught by her is amazing. Too bad she doesn't teach them all, ha ha!

SOSC 1801 is seriously the best class I have ever taken. Dagmara is absolutely hilarious, her lectures are very fun to be in, and the assignments and exams are very fair. The only thing is she isn't the best with remembering to post the content or readings. Can make it difficult to do well in this class. Still amazing class though.

If you really want to enjoy a gen ed course and learn useful and fun things, take 1801. Dagmara's lectures are awesome. They make you go home, tell your parents and friends about them, and then have debates around the kitchen table. She is a great lecturer and an even greater person. I'm really glad I chose this course over the other health gen eds

Prof Woronko is probably the most hilarious professor at YorkU lol. She is also a caring professor and her lectures were always memorable. The grading criteria can be quite vague though, and she also replies to emails very slowly or may not respond (she has many classes). There's also a lot to read, but the content was interesting & informative!

Dagmara is wholly unpretentious and down to earth. She does a great job of making her lectures interesting, and is a great person to talk to. However, much course control is in the domain of her TAs, notably what constitutes good work or not. My TA was not great at all, so I had to work very hard to do well. Pick your TA very carefully!

as a student who took sosc 1009 for credit, i was prepared to not read or not paying attention in the class, but in her class if you failed to pay attention, it will be extremely rare. probably the best prof in yorku

Amazing prof, hilarious and great assignments and exams are reasonable (a little hard). But overall really enjoyed taking her class.
