Best class! Very enjoyable and you learn a lot!

Very easy! Thought the tests were very easy... straight from notes. Class is pretty interesting if you like the subject matter.

Very nice guy. Fair. I enjoyed his class. If you do well during the semester, he'll let you skip the final exam. Just do the reading and study for the tests and you'll do fine. Great professor!

Has a passion for psych. He loves to teach and he makes the class relevant to your life. Best Prf ever

He is an ok professor. Talks to much and his exams are totally different. Don't have to take the finals if you have a good average. But I still recommend another psy professor.

Great professor, lectured in a way you'd understand the material and not be bored. Tests are kinda hard but I got C's on most of them without studying a whole lot. Just show up for all the classes.

If you think his class is boring and you want to fall alseep, then you must feel this way about all of them. He keeps your attention, tests make you think for the answer. Memorization won't help you pass this class. Attendance doesn't matter, but is tested is what he talks about in class.

He is a good teacher. He does go off topic sometimes but he does make sure you understand what he is saying in class. I have not read the book yet and am doing fine. His tests are multiple choices. He also curves.

He is a very understanding professor and he will recap if you didnt get info even if it is after the test.

As long as you study all his notes, read the textbook, pay attention in class, you will get an A! And even sometimes when you do bad on his test, he always curves the whole class. Very nice person, and also keep the class funny.

This is by far the best professor at mcc there is so much nice things to say about this guy I just dont have enough space to say it all. He makes the class interesting and fun. Break time usually last 30 minutes. If you smoke he will become your bestfriend. Bottom line is Grey is so cool I could see myself being friends with the guy. #1 IN MY BOOK

Dr. Grey is awesome! Hes a great teacher. His class was always fun and interesting. He wont quit until everyone fully understands the topic. I highly recommend him!

Woa! Dr. Grey was an amazing prof. Don't rely on memorization for the tests because he knows how to write the tests around that and make you think! I realy learned alot just by sitting in class. And he will pick on you no matter where you sit!

Quite possibly the greatest instructor in the history of the world. He keeps your interest, and makes you think.

Dr. Grey, Dr.Grey. Dr.Grey, Now this Prof is funny. Dont know what is on his mind alot but a real nice man. Smokes a hell of alot. Quit brother, cancer kills. On the real side, nice man.

Prof. Grey is an awsome guy. He keeps you well entertained while in his class and will stay on a topic until you understand it. His test are alittle confusing and really make you think, but aren't extremely hard. His final exam is also optional which is awsome if you do good on all your test there is no need to take the final

Very good prof., interesting but I agree with the above student. You need a degree to figure out the questions on the test. Just took my first exam, it was very hard.

I took his class when I was 14 years old. I got an A. He curved every test. I enjoyed listening to him because he is a great lecturer and can truly capture your attention. Just take good notes, stay attentive and study the night before the test. You will be guarunteed a great grade. =D

Prof. Dr. Grey is a really interesting and friendly person! the good thing about his class is, he grades on only your tests (i took like 5 tests) and also lateness to class! so dont be late to his class! and probably absents! his stories are good. btw after class, he ask the class if you have any cigarettes. and offer him mints,candies&food!:)

I really enjoyed Greys class. One of the few i actually wanted to attend..he tells interesting stories and you'll do fine if you take notes (he writes them on the board)...very friendly..if i could take a class with him again i would.

tests are ok, he curves them all, nice and funny teacher...n definitly take notes tho

The best class you'll ever take!

Great teacher. Doesn't require a term paper and rarely gives homework. As long you as attend every class and take good notes you shouldn't have a problem getting a B or better.

Had him for Intro to Psych, tough class but not impossible, better tha others I have heard stories about on campus

Professor Gray is cool. He lectures everyday but I found it interesting. Good note taking is a must. You get 4 test and you have the option of taking the final. I hate the way he words the test, it is not straight forward you really have to think or really know the material.

I enjoyed Dr. Grey, he was funny and really made you look at psychology from a different angle. The way he words his tests really makes you think though and you need to be at least a decent note taker but you can definitely pass his course

His lectures are some of the most interesting ones I've ever attended. He adds humor and philosophy to the course while still remaining very serious about his psych. disipline and the course material. Although he tends to remind me of Dr. Hibbert from the Simpsons, he is a fantastic psychology professor.

I really don't understand why people don't like him. I used to get to class 10 mins early and everyone would complain about him and it would make me so mad. his lectures were very interesting he has so much knowledge. take him if you are interested in psych if your imamature don't waste his time.

He is not the easiest teacher for psychology. however, his class awas alot of fun. almost every class was just laughing and talking. my advice, if you like psychology and you studing it as your major, look for someone else. if you talking it as an elective and just want to have fun, go for him and you will pass with some studying. he is stll fun.

I would take him for all Psych courses in a heart beat, if he taught them... His lectures really appealed to me, he always provides examples and scenarios to help the class understand what he is teaching -- and if he doesn't think you get it, he'll find another way. Really enjoyed this class!

I loved him because he never gave any assignment at all!! The only things were tests and final. You were even didn't have to take the final if you got A for all of the tests. But you really have to understand the materials;p

He's an awesome guy. He goes over a lot so make sure you take good notes and ask as many questions as you can. His test are pretty tough, but if you pay attention and take good notes you'll do fine.

this pro is tough. but he makes class fun. he helps when you go and see him. i had him reteach a lesson to me and he was really nice about it. I will recommend him to anyone who is willing to lean. not just pass the class. i might not pass the class with an A, but at the end of the semester you will understand PYS clearly. As aperson he is nice.

Funny guy makes class fun and sometimes goes off topic . . . though he may he does review with enough time before the test and if he didnt go over something in class or didnt tell you to read it ITS NOT ON THE TEST hes a great prof def take him again

For all the people who comment bad about DrGrey just don't know what they're talking about and dont appreciate a good professor when they have one.He really connects with the class and makes everything so interseting.Hes extremely knowledgable and open to all questions and is clear in explaining things to the class and he makes sure you understand

A very interesting class. People who comment about him going off topic do not understand the concept of an analogy. He uses illustrated examples that the class can relate to. He won't let you make up a test but the final isn't mandatory and if you take it it replaces a 0 or your lowest grade. No homework. This is a great class.

An excellent professor who is very talented in teaching. He knows how to make any point crystal clear. Even if psychology is not your field of study, he will make the class interesting using examples related to everyday life events.

Great teacher. funny and knows what he's doing. Just listen to his class and write down the notes on the board. The exams are a little hard though but he gives either 4 or 6 plus points extra.

Honestly im not really sure why everyone thinks hes so great. Honestly i didn't think so. He goes off topic and you can never tell what information was important or not. His exams are extremley hard and you always have to go into depth with your notes so i reccomend always going online and making sure you understand the topic very well!

a great professor! he gives extra points on every test and you can ask him for anything. He digresses a lot but thats better for us students! he explains the subject in such a way, you can get so into it. i really enjoyed his class :)

dr grey is an amazing teacher!take him asap for psych bc hes gonna b retiring soon.he explains everything so well so just look over ur notes and sometimes the book for certain terms..he gives you study guides and extra points sometimes so take him bc you'll do great!

You MUST attend class to pass. He doesn't take attendance but he gives lectures & if you miss one class you are at risk for missed info. He isn't a big fan of papers so no writing here! Just take tests (no make up tests) & you are graded on that! Pay attention to what he says & take note of examples of terms that he uses. If you do so, you pass!

Good professor, interesting lectures, final grade based on 4 tests (4 tests + optional final). Tests are fairly challenging at first but got easier as the course went on. Gives you an outline of what will be on the test a week or 2 before the test. I didn't take much notes and skimmed the chapter before tests and I got a B.

We only had four tests and the final. The book wasn't used much, but only to study for the finals. He's really nice, but sometimes he goes off on tangents that doesn't have any relevance to what the subject is.

Is his class hard, no not really. do you have to study, yes obviously lol. trust me it gets easier as you go along. he curves all his test by ATLEAST 5 points. Here's a little tip LOOK OVER THE OUTLINE FOR THE TEST AND DO THE PRACTICE TEST i guarantee it will help you get a better grade since it's like a mini test. also if you bring him cigarettes

I really enjoyed this class. Make sure you go to each class and TAKE NOTES. His tests are based on what he says, so study your notes and dont depend on just studying the book. Also, he was funny.

This is the guy to take for intro to psy at MCC. Show up to class and study your notes. If you don't miss any testes and like your average before the final then you don't have to take it.

Professor Grey is an awesome teacher. His class is by no means easy, though he does curve the grades. His passion and knowledge on the subject made me find a new interest in psychology, and I plan to take more electives in this field because of my experience in his class.

Professor Grey was amazing! He is one of the smartest men I've ever met and he is so well spoken, very articulate. He doesn't use the textbook and he gives 4 tests based off of what was said during lecture. Optional final. I left the class with 107 average because he gave so many extra points. Best professor of all time. After taking Daine Grey's class, I viewed the world through a different lens. I would take his class a thousand times over. Life changing--no joke.

The best psychology professor in my opinion. The book is not necessary since he knows his subject and his lectures tell you all you need to know. He always keeps class interesting, constantly going off topic. Unfortunately, his tests are really hard so you should take notes on the lecture. Even with the hard tests my interest for psychology grew.

He is an amazing professor and a nice person. He has been in the field for many years and really knows what he is talking about and teaches it all in a way that is easy to understand. He is very intelligent and teaches without using the book. He only gives 4 tests and an optional final however he does give curves. TAKE HIM!

THIS PROFESSOR IS BRILLIANT!!!! He is one of the smartest Professors at MCC with a PHD from Princeton and numerous other degrees and accomplishments. If you want to be well educated in the Psychology field take him. AMAZING...

DO NOT BUY TEXTBOOK! His notes are exactly what you need to study, did not need the book at all. I'm serious don't buy it. Very helpful, you will need to study. If you need help he gives you some GREAT websites to help you study. So Smart, didn't even use notes or a book to teacher that's how long he's been doing this. But still so much fun!

This man is a genius. He's very laidback and just a great guy. If you're not good with symbols and abbreviations as notes, like me, I do not suggest him, but otherwise he is awesome and I never get bored listening to his lectures.

Absolutely a genius and a pure class. A fantastic professor. Psychology was never so interesting. It was a privilege to have taken his class and I would take any other class by him. Pay attention in his class, study consistently, study his notes combine them with the textbook ( not mandatory) and you shall do just fine.

Prof. Grey is a very intelligent, easy-going guy w/ an amazing personality. Never boring! I def recommend him! Attendance isn’t mandatory, however, you are responsible for obtaining the notes, which are a lot! No activities, only 5 test + final (approx. 40 ques ea + 80 ques final). Txt book not required. His notes contain all info you’ll need.

He is a great teacher. He wants everyone in the class to pay attention so no falling asleep because he will most likey check to see if you are paying attention. All you have to do is take notes and if you need more help look at the book.

Be careful with his tests. They are tricky. Memorizing vocab won't help. His tests have questions that are example-based and some where all of the 5 options are correct with slight variations & you need to choose the best. He curves the test by 10 points. I got a 98%. Either take really good notes or record his lectures and you will get an A.

He is a good prof. You have to listen if you dose off for 5 minutes you will be confused on what the topic is. You will learn a lot about Psychology, he's cool. There are only tests and the final is optional!!
