She is a good teacher but is very particular on what she wants written on her test and lab notebooks. I didn't do so great on midterm because i didn't put the information she wanted in a specific way. for example i didn't put the word negative in a sentence so i received half a point even though the rest was correct. she will help you. fun teacher

She always wants specifics in her lab reports, exams, and quizzes. If you miss even a single word, then you will get at least half a point marked off. She is very specific as to what she wants the answers to be, and she will definitely tell you word-per-word what answer she wants if you have questions on something that will be on the exam.

Great professor and her lectures are clear and easy to comprehend. She definitely gives helpful feedback to help you pass the class. Do NOT miss any of her lectures since she does give pop quizzes. Dr. Savarirajan actually takes the time to write any feedback in your notebook to help you prepare for your future classescareer.

She is a great professor, however sometimes it is very hard to hear her in big lecture halls. Overall, the tests were easy because all you have to do is study the quizzes.

Dr. S has been so helpful this semester in my success in the class. She is a great teacher, but she's not always immediate clear on everything, and she talks quietly. But, if you sit in the front and ask any and every question you have, I promise you'll get an A. She's always more than willing to help you. Her midterm and final are really easy too!

Professor Savarirajan does have an accent that is hard to understand sometimes, but it's not as bad as others are making it out to be. If taking this class, I'd recommend swapping to a smaller class setting rather than the big lecture halls and to sit in the middle or front. Tests and quizzes are easy if you study from her study guides. love her!

Professor Savarirajan is a great teacher who is knowledgable, funny, and gives amazing lectures. She can be hard to understand sometimes but she'll clarify for you if you ask. She seems a little intimidating when you first start, but she's a sweetheart. Tests/quizzes are easy if you study her study guide, and all in all it's been my favorite class!

She is such a thoughtful person and opens each class with a prayer which is actually super comforting on test/quiz days. She genuinely wants us to pass with good grades and will do everything she can to make sure we understand the material. She was so helpful and is very easy to reach out to. Love her, wish she taught my future courses.

Daisy is a little hard to understand at times, but all-in-all she is a great professor! She is more than willing to move around her schedule to help you and will always stick her neck out for you. Some of her habits in class can be annoying, but you'll get used to them. She gives us review guides for quizzes and tests!

Dr. S. one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She is incredibly helpful, always offering help to her students and encouraging students to stop by at her office hours. Quizzes are relatively straight-forward as long as you read the text book and do the in-class review. Highly recommend going to her office hours to go over tests and quizzes.

She is literally the easiest teacher. She is very available and helpful. Most quizzes and EXAMS are all on Quizlet!

The easiest A' I ever had. All you have to do is read the lab manual and implement it into the procedure for the class. There are lots of information, but it gets really easy to remember because each lab incorporates an aspect of the previous labs. She also reviews the lab before you begin, you have to not try to fail. She is very sweet and caring.

Dr. S was a great professor for this class. Microbio is one of the more challenging classes but she helped make it tolerable. She covered a chapter a day which was overwhelming but let us know exactly what we would be tested on. She provides study guides that matched the quizzes and test questions came from quiz questions. Take her!

Dr. S was a very great professor! This class can be challenging, but if you pay attention to her lectures, write down what she emphasizes, show up for participation, and do the study guides you will easily pass. She emphasizes a lot on what is important to know for the quizzes and exams. She's super sweet and her accent isn't even bad at all.

Dr. S is a very caring woman. Micro was definitely one of the classes I struggled with in the beginning of the semester because it was much more intensive than A&P. Go to office hours to look over quizzes, ask her to elaborate if you are lost, and make sure to note the topics she specifies during her lecture because that is a majority of her tests.

Daisy is a great professor, she would literally almost tell us what to study to get a good grade in the class. Obviously studying outside the course is important, but she was very knowledgeable and was very helpful outside of the class as well. I would seriously recommend her to anyone who is hesitant on this course!

Super great professor, easy to understand and she will tell you exactly what to study for the test and will literally put questions from the quiz into her powerpoints and use them as check for understanding. Highly recommend this professor

Dr. Daisy is AMAZING! You will need to pay attention and study. She will let you know what to pay attention to in order to pass the class! Ask questions and go to her explore more sessions. Record her lectures and use her chapter notes she provides. If you put in the study time your grade will reflect it and she will see it.

It can be a little annoying when she doesn't think the class is listening because she always says "raise your hand if your if you are listening"

Dr. S was a great teacher and was very knowledgable. She would go over the answers for quizzes directly after you take the quiz so the exams were super easy. Not going to lie, I did get annoyed a lot when she would constantly make us raise our hands to prove we are listening.

Daisy is a solid choice for micro. The class is inherently hard, so be ready to study extensively for quizzes and exams. She does not make the class more difficult than it needs to be. Coming from someone who has trouble understanding accents, she speaks good English and is easy to comprehend during lectures. She truly cares for her students!

Daisy is a great teacher for BIO-181. Her power points have questions/hints that are very useful for the quizzes and exams. She is very lenient, organized, and treats this like a 100 level class as she should. You must go to every single class, DON'T SKIP, because once she post the ppts through LoudCloud the hints/questions wont be on there.

Dr. S. was a very enjoyable professor, she knows her stuff and wants you to succeed as well. BUT, you have to show up for class. In class she gives hints to the quizzes/tests and these are essential on the exams. Communicate with her and I am sure you'll be fine, she is a very caring professor.

Daisy for BIO-181 is a great choice. Participation matters & she takes it seriously with also assigned seating. However, she does take the time to know her students and is accessible outside of class. READ HER POWER POINTS! Her power points are basically what is on the exams and they are extra easy if you remember what she told you to study.

Daisy is an amazing professor! The class material for this class is not very difficult, it is just at a very fast pace. Daisy is nice and caring, and she is helpful during her office hours. If you honestly read the textbook you should not have a problem getting an A in the class!

If you have to take micro, take her!! She is so sweet and tells you what you need to know very clearly. Her test arent super difficult and you know what to expect!!

She will basically tell you what is on the exams/quizzes if you show up to lecture and pay attention. attendance is what she uses for your participation, so going to class does help your grade in her class.

Dr.S was truly a great professor. Every day she came to class ready to teach and make sure her students had the knowledge necessary to succeed. Any student that was falling behind or not doing well only fell behind due to lack of trying or due to the fact the the subject in itself was difficult.

Dr. S is an amazing professor!! She does her best to help students better understand the materials being studied. Her tests and quizzes are straight to the point and are basically on the powerpoints/lecture she gives. I would recommend going to the explore mores because she explains more of the things you need to study.

She prepares the class for the quizzes and tests well by making it clear what points might be most important to study. What i did NOT like was that she told the class not to be afraid to ask questions or be wrong but every time a question was asked by a student, she would look at them like they were stupid.

I went in thinking that BIO181 is going to be hard but came out thinking like I can understand anything. Also, she shows quiz answer before an exam and the exams are based on the quizzes taken.

This class is overall difficult. You do have to spend a lot of time studying. But, I do have to say that Daisy does a good job at preparing your for exams. She makes the class less difficult than it needs to be. You will have quizzes about every two weeks. She will provide things in blue on the powerpoints and tell you specific questions.

She is funny, kind, and patient. 205 isn't easy and the course itself is made up of lots of quizzes and tests, but the online homework is extremely easy so that helps stabilize your grade. If you study the PowerPoints and write down what she says is important, you'll do great! Highly recommend Dr. Daisy!

Dr. Daisy is a great choice for biology lecture. Her PowerPoints are effective in teaching the material to theclass. Any tests or quizzes will be highly based off of those PowerPoints, so reading the book is not necessary for most of the class. Dr. Daisy is also easily accessible outside of class if you have any questions or need help with anything

Dr. Daisy is a brilliant professor and cares for each of her students. She gives very dense lectures, and it is hard to pick out which information she expects you to know. You will spend a lot of time sifting through heavy lecture slides, but she gives you the resources and is available if you need help; you have to be willing to put the time in.

She is very easy to understand. She help in many fields of learning. She also tell you what information is important and what may be on a quiz or exam. It also helped that she had everything in her slides so you don't have to look at the confusing book. She should work on having more clear questions for quizzes and the exam.

Professor Daisy is super nice and considerate. If you want to pass the class, all you have to do is study her lecture slides. The quizzes and exams will be only based on those slides. The course is quiz and exam-heavy. It can feel like a lot at some points. But the slides are your key to an A+

Absolute beauty, loved this teacher

I will be honest. I liked her a lot until the end of the semester. Normally, they allow us to take notes on quizzes to prepare for the exam. The final exam contains 11 chapters and countless diseases. She told us to not focus on diseases that were on the exam. She also did not allow us to take notes. The final exam had things we never saw before.

She is a good teacher and knows the subject. Her study guides aren't helpful, but whatever she highlights in class will be on the quizzes and exams. She also takes a week to grade. She has a heavy accent, but you get used to it after a while.

Dr. Daisy was a super easy professor and her tests were word for word what is highlighted on her slides in blue. Her classes solely consist of her reading her slides off and kind of explaining them. It's super boring but if you take notes and review her study guides you'll get an A. Attendence isn't rlly needed and she is leniant w points.

Dr. Daisy is the best! Although she can go fast through the lecture slides she has you have access to the slides to take notes later. She also highlights key information that may or ma not be of the tests for us to study and prepare more easily. She also uses visual aids to help us better understand the material.

Her being a biologist herself and her own personal interests in the subject along with her relationship with God was very comforting and inspirational. We were given really good slides on top of study guides to set us up for success. She is really helpful during class and office hours.

She also helps to ensure that you are successful in relaying back the information you learned via the lab reports. I can tell she wants to see her students succeed, and that helped with my confidence in the class.

Take Daisy for micro!!! She puts what will be on quizzes/tests in blue on the PowerPoint slides or will tell you in class and make some circle x shape. Quizzes and exams share many questions. Easier than chem or anat and phys, so you will do great. It is more of a memorization class than understanding how stuff works. Pro tip look up quizlets.

Daisy is a phenomenal lecture teacher. She quizzes the class with critical thinking questions and keeps the class engaged in every subject! Microbiology is difficult, but she was great at explaining the material in a way that was easier to understand. I hope everyone gets the chance to have her as a professor!

She is a super nice prof. Had her for research methods & design which is a brutal class with lots of peer reviewing and a 300 point CLC, but she made it so much nicer and tolerable. Besides big clc you are graded on peer reviewing, and participation based on notes taken from presentations given by students each week.

Dr. Daisy is so sweet and so excited to teach Micro. Her tests are very difficult and very specific. Lots of studying and quizzes/exams. There tend to be repeat questions from the quizzes on the exams so go into office ours to see what you missed on the quiz, it will help!

Dr. Daisy's class was really educational, but it took time to get used to her lectures. If you study her power points and what she has highlighted in blue or bolded you will do well on the quizzes. I also advise you to go see her or the IA after each quiz to go over what you got wrong because the same questions on the quizzes are on the exam!

Dr. Daisy is hands down the best instructor for BIO-205 lecture. I recommend her to any and all of my pre-nursing friends. She is knowledgeable in her field of expertise, passionate about the subject matter, and clearly communicates what is expected of students on the exam.

This was my second time taking this Course and Dr. Daisy did an amazing job of explaining things. Sometimes I felt like I was learning a whole different topic just because how much more I understood her way of explaining compared to my previous instructor.

Dr. Daisy clearly knows her field of scope. She helps students pass this class as easy as possible, which is awesome because this class is also one of the hardest courses out there. She really prepares you well for the quizzes and exams!

She is sweet and means well. She can go off on rants oftentimes and is hard to pay attention for the full class. However, she is very funny and clear on what will be on quizzes and exams. I didn't go to her office hours, but I would recommend it.

Daisy is one of the most kind and caring professors I've taken at GCU. She starts every class with a pray and man does she love the Lord. During lectures, she will let you know what to look out for on exams. She can go fast sometimes and it can be confusing but as long as you study you'll be fine! Also go to her office hours!

Professor Daisy is an amazing person and professor! I really enjoyed taking her class. She has great energy, and it's clear she genuinely cares about her students. She's so inspirational and always gives encouraging words. She helps prepare you well for quizzes and exams. Take her class—you definitely won't regret it!

Dr. Daisy is really passionate about microbiology and provided great lectures. She is also very engaging and helps you remember the material by having us repeat it. Her ability to distill complex information made the content more accessible and ensured a comprehensive understanding of key concepts.

Dr. Savarirajan is a master in her field who teaches with a charisma and charm that makes her class very educational and very enjoyable. She was so helpful, supportive, and nice. She always answered questions and never let us feel that we could not succeed. Recommend her!

Absolutely loved Dr. Daisy. She tells you exactly what you need to know for the exam so as long as you pay attention in class, make note of what she starred, and memorize that, then you will have no trouble excelling in her class.

I LOVE DR DAISY!!! She is so smart and knows everything regarding microbiology and more. I love the way she relates to the real world and provides a Christian worldview. She also emphasizes very important points and makes sure we understand everything clearly. She is great.

She was so amazing i love daisy. I took her for research and methods design. You definitely have to do research for your topic but overall, she wouldn't grade you like your life depended on it, as long as you did your best she would give you credit. Her lectures from bible versus were amazing as well, she really made me get closer to God from them.

Overall she was a great professor who would help her students prepare for upcoming quizzes/exams. She makes sure to hightlight important info that we need to focus on, as well as providing study guides to help with the study process. Most of the questions on your quizzes are going to be on the exams, so it's best to visit her office hours.

Dr. Daisy was an overall great and engaged professor. I loved this class so much and I would recommend her to everyone who is taking Microbiology or any other class she takes. She used scripture in the classroom and helped us with our Christian education.

Dr. Daisy is the sweetest and caring person. Class is very easy she basically uses her quizzes for the exam. I had trouble in the beginning of the semester that's why I ended with a C but if you really pay attention she is basically giving you the answers.

If you take good notes in class and discuss quizzes with her during office hours, you'll probably do alright. 4/5 would absolutely take her class again

Great professor and was always able to help out students whenever possible during her office hours or even after class very shortly. The exam questions were often similar, or even the same questions that you'd see on her quizzes. Definitely read the chapter before class because she will go over them in extra detail and sometimes too fast.

Dr. Daisy was the first professor who I learned biology from. She loved us and the course in a way that made it fun. She also helps during office hours. I'm so thankful I had her as a professor!

Dr. Daisy is such a nice professor. Her lectures are standard, but it is not necessary to even read the textbook in this class because she puts all the information that are on the tests in the lecture slides. She literally gives out answers on tests in the class. As long as you show up every lecture, study a bit, you will do fine.

I loved this class because of the professor. I think this is a difficult class, but Dr. Daisy made it great. I enjoyed the prayers before class, and she was so kind and super accommodating and seemed to care about the student's success.
