A very nice woman from somewhere in western europe so she can be hard to understand. She really wants to help you understand math.

Shes a nice looking teacher by far! she has a speech thing but its a turn on. you may have trouble in learning not just because shes hot but the course is a tough one. take this only if you can handle it.

Mrs. Kennedy really knows her stuff and enjoys teaching to us. I haven't taken math for over 15 years and this summer class is very helpful. If you are having specific problems she will do her best to help you understand, just stay after class for a one-on-one OR go see a tutor, that what they're here for and they're FREE.

She's very good. She tells you the very first day if you cant understand her to switch out of her stats class. so if her accent is a problem, you should figure it out then but its not bad. she lets you bring a FLASHCARD to the TEST w whatever you want on it! how can you fail? there is no final exam only a project that replaces you lowest test grade

She's really a great teacher. The only grades are tests and you really need to go to class if you plan on passing, if you skip, it shows on your grade. she lets you use a notecard on the test which helps A LOT. No final, just a really easy project that also replaces the lowest test score. I personally would take her again.

All around nice teacher. I missed some lessons and a test and she reopened them in MatLab with no problems. Well organized and keeps the class up to date with regular emails. By far the least painful math class I've taken online in.. forever. Take her if you want to pass a math class.

Very nice teacher. She really pushes you to do your best and tries to challenge you. She only grades tests and projects, so you have to work hard on those. You really have to study the material but she allows a note card on the test. Even though she doent grade homework, I would get the book anyway because it has lots of problems you can practice.

She gives lots of resources to help study and lets you have a notecard for the test. Statistics is a little boring, so i did watch thte clock, but she tries to make it interesting with group activities.

Easy A if you stay on top of your work. She sends emails every week and answers all questions. Lots of homework and quizzes but all open book. test reviews actually count as much as the tests! This was awful, always got As on tests and Cs on reviews. Midterm & Final proctored are 60% of grade. Uses pearsons mymathlab, costs an additional $90 to use

Her class is kind of easy but you wont understand when she explains for the first time. You have to ask for help again. If you are good at math, you will do fine. If not take some other prof.

She is a very Awesome teacher, she explains everything very slowly and detailed, she reviews before the tests and if you are happy with your grade you don't have to take the final exam, she is very helpful, she works with you and answers your questions she is very easy going and easy to work with, Take her!

I'm not a math person but I enjoyed & did well in this class. We use My Math Lab which is helpful, you can do the HW as many times as you want to get the best score, & you also have lots of optional practice. You can do quizzes twice & take the best score. On tests you can use a note card with formulas & notes and you drop the lowest test/final

Great teacher, full calculator use. My stat lab for all homework and quizzes (so don't bother buying book). Tests are EASY, she allows a notecard for every one. If you do well on the 4 exams, you are exempt from final! Very understanding, willing to talk to you re:any questions. She wants you to pass. Show up and do the work, you will get an A!

I am just finishing up the semester with Daiva Kennedy & she in wonderful! She is from Lithuania and does have an accent but I could always understand her very clearly. She CARES about her students & teaches with a lot of examples. Online hw and 4 tests but she drops the lowest. Also allows for a notecard during tests. Loved her teaching methods!

I didn't mind taking Kennedy for Trigonometry. Honestly, she's probably one of the best math teachers I've had at SPC. She uses my math lab but it helps. I didn't like how much she cared about attendance. Once I came in 5 minutes late and she got angry at me. I can see getting mad if you come into class 5 min late repeatedly, but it was one time.

Any math is TORTURE for me, but this is the FIRST time I actually enjoy doing math. She is very understanding and works with you. The workload isn't small, especially if you are taking an online class, so be prepared to spend hours studying. But once you nail all the formulas, you should be fine. She is very fair.

Professor Kennedy is the best! She's crystal clear in the expectations of the class, she works lots of problems on the board, she gives incredible feedback, she's willing to help anyone, and she rocks! Some people have weird things to say about her accent; her accent is awesome and in no way was she hard to understand. Don't listen to the weirdos.

Amazing! She is very clear and detailed with her lectures. All of the homework's are on MyMathLab and they are all due on the day of the very last class. They can be re-done as many times as possible and she gives extra credit on tests. Only 4 test and homework as grade and you can exempt. Wouldn't skip class, she gives lots of info. Love her!

Professor Kennedy's great I've taken her for Elementary Statistics and College Algebra. She gives a few tests typically one per chapter, homework is turned in with MyMathLab. The final replaces the lower test grade. This is math, you should probably read and understand the section before coming to class and utilize tutors.

I stumbled on a few trig problems but she really helped me out. She provides worksheets with problems that will be on the test, and she made trig easy to learn.

She is a very good and clear lecturer.. Trig is a very hard class and I unfortunately could not keep up, but that was not at all her fault. She was a highly efficient teacher using all of the time provided.

Teaches with TI 83/84 & straight from book she projects in class. Got an F last semester with a different professor, got an A this semester! She is clear besides her accent, she does a lot of examples. Homework is due morning of test. Practice tests are optional but add 5% to your test score if completed. Dont buy the book use etext off my math lab

I never used the book once. I went to tutoring almost everyday before a test. I hate math, the tutoring helped TREMENDOUSLY. She uses the easiest method on the tests to help you pass. You get 5 points extra credit if you do the practice test in MyMathLab. I would recommend her for Statistics.

This is my third time taking this class. I am passing because Prof. Kennedy has a gift of teaching statistics and keeping it very elemental. She teaches the long version and she teaches the calculator version. Pick your poison. In order to succeed show up to class and do the MML hw. Awesome instructor. 4 tests and no final exam (usually).

Professor Kennedy is great! She gives extra credit. Very helpful when math gets incomprehensible, which is more often than not (for me). She's an asset to anyone who takes her class.

Professor Kennedy is the best math teacher I have ever taken. Do yourself a favor and take her class. I have taken her for 3 math classes, intermediate algebra, statistics, and college algebra. I'm even taking the college algebra online and doing great, even though I was worried. Professor Kennedy reassured me that I would be fine taking it online.

She makes everything looks so easy. She's also very thorough. Your success depends on how much work you are willing to put in.

She is one of the BEST math professors I have ever had. Must complete HW to understand material. Only 10% marked down if turned in late, so you can make 90s all semester on HW. Has test reviews that you complete in class! Completion of online practice tests gives you 5% bonus on test grade. Lowest test grade replaced by final exam grade.

This class isn't difficult. I'm not genuinely good at math but I was able to get an A. It's math so no one should ever miss class. She gives extra credit for the tests, homework online, Final optional. Her test are very similar to her reviews. Her lectures are great , I never left class confused. Never bought a textbook, just took thorough notes!

There is homework due every week, but it is manageable. You need to get access to MyStatLab, so it is cheaper to just buy the code online instead of buying the textbook with an access code. The book is available online with the code. Trust me save money just get the code. You will need the TI-84 rent one cheap at graphtor dot com

Prof Kennedy is a good teacher. You can pass the class if you do all the homework on MyMathLab. There were 4 tests and a final. But if you were happy with your grade after thrr 4 tests, you didnt need to take the final.

Really not a bad class or teacher. She can be hard to understand at times but nothing too severe that you won't do well because of it. She does a nice job of explaining things in the easiest way possible. Just practice practice practice and you can get an A.

Drops lowest grade, gives extra credit, very cool professor. The module tests and exams are a sinch if you study and understand the key concepts. The professor even opened up old homework for us to retake and get a better grade!! There are a decent amount of tests and homework but it spaced out well enough to not feel overwhelmed.

She's ok, the only problem I've had with her is that she can tend to describe unnecessary info and can cause you to become confused. The 4 tests are similar to her printed reviews. As long as you do the HW, show up to class, and study you should be fine. I don't really think her accent effects the description so you'll be ok.

This online professor is really nice and caring. She gives you many attempts to pass the homework and test to get an A. In my opinion, her exams were really difficult and got a C in her midterm and final but passed the class with the B. The exam counted the most than the homework assignments and quizzes.

Daiva is a kind professor and genuinely wants you to succeed. She teaches fast, so be ready! Passing this course is completely dependent on practicing the material. Skipping a class is not recommended, especially if you don't buy the textbook. Also, try to score high on the 4 exams! If they average out to an A, you are exempt from the final.

I was lower D all semester, yet she reassured I could do it and didn't give up on me. While she will not accept BS,she does understand circumstances. She will bend over backwards to help you out, will offer her personal work time to help you learn. A+teacher. I may have gotten a C but i certainly deserved a C. Truly kind and benevolent. Wonderful Professor, I took her for both Trig and Pre Calc. Lecture heavy and notes are a must, however if you pay attention and do your work the class is fairly easy.

I took her college algebra and calculus 1 during the first year of my college. I like the way she taught. Homework and quiz are in MyMathLab. And there are exams you need to take in class, you need to study for it. she explains everything clearly in class. Passed MAC1105 with a B and MAC2233 with an A.

She has an accent, but she is understandable. Watch the class lesson before class so you can ask questions. She is available after class via Zoom, and will also reply fast to your emails. Make sure to do the PRACTICE TESTS'. At the end of a test, if you had it right on your notes, take a picture, send it to her. She will give you half credit for it

Basically, she is a bit strict yes - she doesn't appreciate people coming in late or being on their phones, not participating working on the practice problems in class etc. But, she's very clear about what is graded, for how much of your total grade and what is expected of you. And the final exam review is always 5% extra credit at the end.

Her lectures are a good source of study; however, she sometimes goes a little too fast with her notes instead of assuring that what was solved makes sense. The class is pretty straightforward & there is a 5% extra credit for the final review. Even though it is an online module, some protected tests must be taken during the lecture time.
