Made the class VERY enjoable. Tests are somehwat hard, but grades on curve.
funny guy he is. fairly hard are his tests.
tests are DIFFICULT! Must go to lectures to get at lease a C!
funny, fun relates to the real world.
Tests are hard, go to class and read the book!
HARD tests, talks waaay to fast, annoying in many aspects...not fair!
Tons of people were taking his class 2 and 3 times just to pass....and way too many people failed again and again from him
very nice guy, makes class enjoyable. however, you must go to class to do well on tests.
tough class ... only way to pass is to attend ... great teacher ... friendly and helpful ... gets to know the students .... need to read the book
Tests don't cover material taught; helps students but not enthused with the idea. Talks far too fast...annoying!
As long you as attend and do homework, he's good. He is helpful to those who show up for class and he tries hard to make class enjoyable.
He is very clear and straightforward. Keeps the interest of the class. As long as you try to keep up with the lectures and homework, you can get out of there with a good solid grade.
Very cool guy. Tests are a little hard but definitley passable. Just make sure you attend class and the study sessions.
He is HARD! He talks way to fast and thinks that we students already know the material. Don't take this class!
Very helpful and tries to have a sense of humor which makes class interesting
He's very funny and the math calculations are easy but as far as the test goes....that's another story. The tests are very deceiving as to what was emphasized in class.
I thought it was an easy class, and I am terrible when it comes to math. Nice guy, very helpful.
Funny guy. If you attend class, you will do fine! Listen to everything he says because many questions on exams come from lecture. Go to study sessions, the TAs tell you everything to study. He talks really fast, so if you are a slow listener, stay away!!
difficult class because you have to spend alot of study time. grades on a fair distribution. just cannot understand his writing. over all i think hes a cool guys, just go to class, and you will understand. and make the book your BIBLE
Test are very hard - have to go to class! Talks very fast, but is very good at explaining - VERY HOT!
class is very fair for a stats class, and im not good in math, goes out of his way to help you any way that he can and is clear what he expects from you. tests are kinda hard, just need to study and youll do fine. go to class, take notes
He really sucks. He thinks everyone know the topic as well as he does. Exams are very hard, and he doesn't teach material well at all.Don't take him.
Overall a great guy but his teaching skills are a little weird. He goes a little fast and the test focus mostly on vocab. If you are good at memorizing vocab take this class.
Despite what some say, this is NOT an awful class. He is funny, gives good examples to relate the material, and is VERY fair at grading. The material itself is confusing, but he will go over it as many times as you need him to. Its a required psych major course so you might as well take Glaser.
He might be amusing, but I'm not amused now. DONT TAKE HIM. His tests are 50 multiple choice questions just on theory plus only two calculations that are worth 8 points. He never has time to help you, goes through the material way too fast. His class sucks.
I took his class for psy 270, i skipped class a lot, am not so good at math, but read the book and he gave me an A. he was very willing to help those who bothered to ask questions and very fair. Liked him enough to pick him for 301. i didnt do as well, but it was more difficult material. easy going
I knew more about stats BEFORE taking his class. He has too many things going on his life right now. He should maybe give up teaching this class. He never answers questions, and is frustrated when a student asks for clarity. Half the the time his TA is not even available.
If you're good at math, the homework is not hard and the class is not bad. The tests are a bit harder and have more to do with the concepts of stats rather than the actual mathematices aspect. He is very energetic; he'll wake you up in the mornings. The material is rather light and not too in-depth. He answers all questions and clarifies everything
Dr. Glaser is seriously the best math teacher ever. If you go to class and pay attention, everything is EASY. Something I really like is that he's more about the concepts behind the math; he's definitely not one of those teachers who drills in your equations and asks you to do it millions of times over. If you like that, don't take Glaser.
He ran through the material fast, irritated if someone didn't understand it after hearing it a second time, and seemed like he didn't have much time to stop n' help if you needed it. The class was hard. Good luck ;o/
his teaaching is dificult because he never ever stoops toanswer questions. He makes class dificult his tests are hard ans you hava to spent alot of time studying to get a decent grade, but please do yourself a favor and do not take him.
I don't think he was an effective teacher. He lectures through quoting the textbook in front of him and his slides contains few info if any. He didnt even do a review for the final eventhough this was stated in the syllabus. The only thing that makes up for this is guy is that he is really laid back about grading and he's fairly easily.
Im horrible at studying and a huge procrastinator and i passed. If your familiar with statistics you'll do great. He gives you weekly quizes which are ridicously easy. if you pay attention youll have no problem.
This teacher expects psychology majors to enjoy statistics ...good luck...only 3 A's in entire class... everyone I know got C- so they have to take it again. He thinks that everyone has a basic understanding of statistics already! If you want a higher understanding of the subject, take him, but not if you want to pass.
Glaser knows his stuff, but I don't think teaching is his forte. Lectures consist of slides from blackboard, him reciting the first sentence of chapters from the book and him name dropping of all of his professional experiences with this company and that school. His printing is ILLEGABLE and he does not offer help to struggling, yet good students.
DO NOT TAKE HIM HE DOES NOT TEACH. HE JUST SCRABLES THE BOARD AND READS THE BOOK INFRONT OF CLASS. HIS WRITING IS HORRIBLE. AND IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION TAKE IT HOME AND FIND IN YOUR OWN BECAUSE IF YOU INTERRUPT HE GETS UPSET. DO NOT TAKE HIM HE WILL MAKE YOU HATE YOUR SEMESTER...
Dale Glaser is way too fast of a teacher. He expects everyone to have full knowledge of Stats. If you do, you'll LOVE his class, if you don't... be prepared to work your butt off trying to pass. Hard class. I would recommend a different teacher.
This class was very easy. As long as you do the reading, which is considerably light in comparison to other classes, you do not need to attend his lectures except for in-class points and quizzes.
I definitely am confused as to who everyone is referring to because i found Prof Glaser to be an incredibly nice and helpful guy. No, his handwriting isn't the best... but overall he's a funny laid-back guy. His tests aren't too difficult as long as you read the parts of the text that he assigns you. Not much reading overall. Decent class.
There was only 2 A's in class.I got a B-, while everyone else i was studying with got a C-(which sucks!). No way of knowing what was on test. Lectures do not help and are based on personal experiences of his. Office is off campus, so there is no way to receive help. I am only writing this because he was my worst teacher at state! beware!
I don't think Dale was that bad, just read the book and take notes and you'll do fine. Though the essay parts of the midterm were still a little challenging. Had a lot of interesting class discussions and he's a softy when it comes to grades if you have a B+ in the lab and an A to B+ in the class he'll give you the A-.
He is a great teacher, he is funny, interesting and really helpful. He is definetly a softy on grades. I thought this class was going to be my least favorite, but it turned out to be the best one I had that semester!
Glaser is a really cool teacher and rally funny. Even though he goes through things really fast he'll stop and go back as many times as you need until he's sure that you get it. He grades really easily and is super nice. Make sure you bring your book to class everyday b/c he uses it. If you have to take statistics, take it with him!
He made the material interesting and anyone who can make psychometrics intersting is an amazing teacher. He would kind of go fast on the lectures but would go back and answer anything you asked him.
I dreaded this class initially, but ended up looking forward to it. Dale made us think and asked questions that engaged the whole class. He's willing to go over material to make sure you understand, but there was usually not enough time in class, so you HAVE to study. But he does listen to suggestions so let him know what you think!
He makes a hard and boring class interesting. Would recommend him if you have to take Stats. Stats sucks in general tho, but he will do the best out of any Stats teacher.
He teaches too fast paced, you have to read the book really good to get whats going on, He has quizzes every other week with like 4 questions always an essay ques. tests always have essay ques. I guess he makes the class interesting cause he talks about up to date topics to relate to class. He doesn't care about attendance, u need the book.
If you take this class with Glaser, expect to teach yourself everything from the book. He talks in circles in class
Great teacher who is very passionate about stats. kinda hard class. M/c plus essays so you definitely need to study and understand the material. really made stats an interesting subject. lab is ok depending on the TA, but doesnt really require you to stay longer than class time like 271 does. he is a softy on grading the essays
His lectures are fairly useless and he goes off on tangents but attendance is mandatory. He has in class activities easy but worth a good chunk of overall grade! If you read the book you'll do well in this class! Test aren't that hard. Lab is a waste of time but required. He is kind of a stuck up liberal & likes to name drop but its not too bad
Easy class, boring subject. Class is mandatory, very few notes taken. Lecture based on book. I got an A in his class, study and read the book and you will be fine.
Professor Glaser is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is extremely caring of his students and really wants everyone to succeed. Go to his lectures. He is hilarious.
He doesn't take attendance. He explains everything often to the chagrin of those who understand. If your good at math you don't need the book. I did because I skipped so much class. I received a C+ which was generous in my opinion. If you don't miss class then you should do well.
Really great professor! He's always willing to help his students and will slow down if lecture if anyone has a question. He's really caring and really wants his students to do good in the course, attendance isn't mandatory, but if you want a good grade you should go. Great teacher, highly recommend you take his class!
Great, funny teacher. Use office hours to your advantage if confused because TAs aren't as clear and knowledgable. BUT if you miss lecture, labs go over what was covered. Somewhat hard material but he makes you want to go to class. Stats was difficult, but Glaser is great. Don't buy the book.
Great professor! He went over everything thuroughly, and if you don't understand they go over the same thing in lab which was nice. I suggest buying the aplia. It was really helpful and that was how I studied for the test. Then you get practice problems and it has the book online with it, but I never looked at it once. Enthusiastic and helpful prof
sit in the front of his lectures. pay attention to lab and lecture they go hand in hand and one will clarify the other. take good notes and things will be far easier.
Glaser teaches a bit fast. If the lab wasn't mandatory to take along with this lecture i'm not sure if i would've passed. He does care about his students and is a good professor. I would certainly recommend not missing any of his lectures if you can help it !
Little scatter brained, took a few classes to get used to. Go to all of his lectures (he makes the tests not the TAs from lab) and pay attention. Taking notes in his class is difficult because he goes back and forth between powerpoint, word, graphs but most important things are in the book. Difficult concepts to learn but overall a good teacher.
dont worry, your not the only one, EVERYONE HATES STATISTICS!basically if you like to write notes, he sucks at that because he constatnly switches screens on the projector, from internet to power point to word, etc etc alot and fast. its a confusing subject but he explains it very well. you need to pay attention, 1 class missed may confuse u next 1
He is horrible at teaching! He switches between notes, and powerpoints and graphs so much throughout the class. I have to take the class again because I couldn't stand his teaching. i suggest avoiding this class at all cost.
Lets be real. Statistics SUCKS. With that said, Glaser teaches it well. Its a confusing subject and a really hard class but he really does try to make it easier. i really struggled with this class. TIP: do ALL the homework because it cushions your grade. i failed most of the tests but got a B because i did the homework
Probably one of the "not so good" instructors I've encountered in my life. He really is pretty bad at teaching, and will do little to help you outside of his lectures. His grading is somewhat of a mystery on the written papers, and there's little prep assistance when it comes time to take the test. My suggestion, take this with someone else!
I took him for stats for psych and i loved it. He was a good teacher, which is why i took him for 370 testing and measurement this semester. HORRIBLE DECISION! He spends the majority of every class going over news articles which isn't helpful in any way shape or form for the test. He is very unclear and not worth it. Take 370 with someone else!!
By far the worst teacher I have ever encountered. Lectures are completely pointless but I recommend going to the lab because the TAs teacher you EVERYTHING!
prof is usually in a good mood. he's very smart and informative, but goes fast in lecture. hes willing to go over anything you ask for. READ BEFORE THE LECTURE i learned this at the end of semester when it was too late. 3 tests- 25% each, hw 15%, final project 10%. i earned a 79% but got a B thanks to the curve. i'd recommend him! dont be lazy!
ALL OVER THE PLACE. he's pretty chill but be prepared to be confused during his lecture. the lab REALLY helps you understand. but go to his lectures so you kind of have an idea what's going on when it comes to the lab, everything becomes clear in the lab.
I adore Dr. Glaser, but this is a very challenging, but informative class. He goes off on random tangents frequently that don't really help come test day. Make sure to stay on top of the readings, and get clarity if you don't understand the random stuff he puts in the Powerpoint because there's a chance you'll be tested on it. Tests can be tricky!
Chill guy. But and absolutely terrible professor....Avoid at all costs.
He goes ridiculously fast, flips back and forth between power points and a word document he creates as he lectures. He answers questions with more questions. Avoid this guy like the plague.
I got an A- with an 89% but the class was alot of work. GO TO CLASS, his lectures are hard to pay attention but you cannot teach this material to yourself. your lab breaks down the math equations pretty well but the tests are all about the concepts. one final project due during finals week pain in the ass but TAs really helped out.
The class is challenging, but Dr. Glaser will readily help any students.
SOOOOOOOO hard!!! lecture and small group are completely uncorrelated...he goes off on so many unrelated tangents ...avoid at all costs
Dr.Glaser is really enthusiastic and nice. You have to go to class if you want to pass and do well on the tests because it's math and he has to teach you what to do. Go to class, pay attention, ask questions, and you'll do well. I got a B in the class because it is pretty tough, but I enjoyed the class.
I'm not sure this professor knows how to convey the material in a way his students can understand. He uses formal language, talks fast, and it's generally really hard to pay attention. If someone answers a question out loud quietly, he just says "right!" Instead of repeating the answer loud enough for the class to hear. Easy to fall behind
If you have math anxiety, Glaser will make it 100x worse. He has no problem making you feel stupid. His notes are typed in a word doc prior to class & he just scrolls down without stopping to wait for his students to jot anything down. Tests are HARD. You do not need the book at all. Attendance is not mandatory but you WILL fail if you don't go.
RUN!! Do not take this class from him!! Do yourself a favor and take it at Mesa College. This guy teaches old school stats that is not used anymore due to the use of technology. I learned more about his stats business outside of school and work with a local hospital than I did about how to use stats for school. Got a D+ from him and an A at Mesa.
Dr. Glaser is nice but his teaching style makes the topics very hard to grasp. His powerpoint consists of hastily typed unclear notes on Word processor and some powerppint slides he will just speed through. Write down important points only and abbreviate because thats all youll have time for. TA labs are very helpful and will save you.
Tests are extremely difficult and he doesn't offer much help. Speeds through power points to where you can barely write anything down. While lecture could be worse, he isn't very sincere or respectful to students, especially when they're asking for help.
Professor Glaser is a really nice guy, however he is not a good teacher. I was so lost during lectures I'm not sure why I would go. I only learned during the breakaways with our TA's, and even then I'm not sure what grade I'm going to receive.
DO NOT TAKE GLASER'S CLASS. Teaching style is horrible - he lectures randomly and puts notes on 70+ page word documents (per chapter) that are impossible to study. His tests do not follow the study guides. He will literally throw random stuff on there he brought up maybe once in class.
He is an ok professor. He will answer any questions you have and will make lectures engaging. You do have to go to class to understand the material and study his notes before any tests. Do not rely on the study guide!! His notes are somewhat hard to read but if you go to class you will make sense of them!! Never used the textbook so do not buy.
If you've taken a stats class before (e.g., HS)then you'll do fine. His explanations are confusing & hard to take notes cause he goes fast. However, the lab helps ALOT and their powerpoints are much more clear. 3 exams, multiple choice 25 questions(easy but can't miss many)+ weekly hw. He's a nice guy and tries to help but you mostly learn from lab
Textbook isn't mandatory, but it is if you want to get an A. You're better off reading the textbook (which explains the concepts much better) than going to lectures and trying to make sense of his lectures and his powerpoint "notes". Labs will help you a lot too
Super awesome guy! Don't necessarily need the book. I took this class the first time and didn't go to class and copied homework off my friend and got a D+, then had to retake it and just went to class and actually did my homework and got an A- the second time. Graded off 3 tests and 200 homework points from the lab. Curves the final grade also.
Dale Glaser is the guy! He is so awesome and funny and shapes his lectures around the students interests in the class. The powerpoints are scattered, but if you go to lecture, listen, and ask questions you will be able to gather the information you need. You only have 3 tests so make sure you keep up with your studying!
His powerpoint and notes are all just examples of statistics and it can be hard to follow. Very sweet guy - knows what he's talking about and is willing to help if you're confused, but not the best at teaching the material. Attendance is not mandatory and reading the book helps a lot too. Basically learned the material in lab from the TA.
Glaser talks a lot about confusing nonsense. Don't choose him as your professor if this is your first stats class. You will leave the class more confused than when you came in.
Dr. Glaser is one of my absolute favorite teachers at SDSU. He is really passionate about this class and is willing to clarify anything that you don't understand. You MUST go to every lecture and lab. In lecture he strongly hints at what EXACTLY is going to be on the tests so listen and take note!! He's super sweet and willing to help you!!!
Prof. Glaser is honestly one of my favorite professors I've had at SDSU. His lectures are fascinating, as you do not only talk about statistics, but interesting and fun psychology experiments/facts as well. He is very clear about what is on his exams, so GO TO LECTURE! Also labs are very helpful for clarification. Overall, great class!
His lectures are very interesting because it is a lot of realworld examples. They sometimes get repetitive and revolve around a lot of the same examples. I felt better teaching myself concepts based on the powerpoint. The exams are very difficult and contain a lot of lecture only questions. Also, papers are graded by a TA who is a very tough grader
Glaser is one of the worst professors I have encountered at state. He is horrible at teaching the material. Most of his lectures consist of long pages of notes that are more about articles than the actual material. He also tends to pick on people randomly and his exams are very complicated. Avoid this class at all costs!
I LOVE Dr Glaser, but I HATE this class! He is caring, and helpful willing to answer questions. BUT, his lectures are full of jargon, confusing, and very difficult to understand. He makes this material harder than it has to be. Glaser is a cool guy, but seriously lacking as an instructor. If it wasn't for the labs i wouldn't stand a chance.
This class is hard and there are statistical papers every few weeks. However, I love Glaser as a professor because he cares and really knows his stuff. He will take time to explain things and is really straightforward. However, the TA is a very tough grader and will take off points for everything. I recommend Glaser but not for the TA.
Dale is a very good professor, he explains the concepts kind of advanced way that's where it gets confusing. The main issue is his TA she will make sure to take off points off of every single paper you'll have, which she kinda saying that no one is good for this class but her. she controls everything so do yourself a favor and avoid this class.
Run. If you have the choice to drop this class, go ahead and do yourself a favor do it. Glaser is extremely confusing with his lectures and makes it complicated. His TA Paige is a horrible grader and it is almost impossible to get full credit on your work. drop this class or chose different one because it's not worth destroying your GPA for it. RUN
You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and is good about answering questions in class. He also gives quite a bit of hints to what will be on the exams. He has been my favorite professor so far at sdsu.
Glaser is making everything harder than what it is. I Have an A in this class but Glaser making the tests and the lectures harder than what they are. His TA is horrible I had to correct her grading because she would add up things that they dont ask for in the rubric, so be careful she messes up all the time, and shes kind of person never wrong. WO
I enjoyed Dr. Glaser's lectures. He broke down a difficult subject into understandable terms. He rambles a bit, but the info is there. He wants you to be excited and learn. Pay attention, GO TO LAB, and you will find success in a dreaded required course.
Great teacher, uses tons of examples in lecture to really drill in the concepts. Take notes! Use lab to ask for clarity. Good sense of dad-like humor. Burst of energy. Helps if youve taken AP Stats.
Dr. Glaser is an amazing professor and a very kind person. His class was somewhat hard, however, so I would definitely recommend showing up to class and lab and reading the textbook. You can tell he loves his subject and he wants his students to succeed. The more you put into the class, the more you'll get out of it (+ if you have questions, ask!).
This class is impossible. We were graded on 3 exams and 3 papers. He provided no extra credit opportunities. His exam are tricky. It's like he doesn't want his students to perform well on his exams. His lectures are overwhelming and he does not cover everything that will be on the exam. We were not given a study guide. Choose a different professor.
One of the worst experience I've ever had, this professor is there to show you that he knows more than you, and you cant pass his class with an A, which I still did, but many were struggling with his class. Also, make sure to look out for the TA, if her name is Paige, just drop the class. she messes up a lot with grading and grades the way she like
This professor is on autopilot and just repeats the same things in all of his classes, I had to take him for other psyc classes and he just wastes class time taking opinion polls about topics like depression, exercise, stress, etc. You don't learn anything, he doesn't go over things you need to do for the test, you have learn from the TA or tutor
Dale was my favorite professor this semester. You can tell he is truly passionate about the subject and cares for the students. He makes lectures easy to follow with humor and made a subject I dont care about interesting. 10/10 would recommend.
I took Glaser's 280 class my freshman year and it was very hard, esp. since the TA was a tough grader. 370 was easier than 280, and more interesting as it involves I-O Psych. However, the tests are stats-heavy and I didn't feel prepared for tests even w studying quizlets. Went almost every class. If u get Covid - all u get is the 200-slide ppt
one of those teachers you like as a person but not an instructor. knows his stuff but does not teach in a easily understandable way. Lectures has lot of unnecessary info that gets in the way of the important material. as long as you have a good TA and attend labs you should be fine. Has a really nice grading scale/curve got an 88% an A.
He says it's up to you to read the textbook because his lecture slides are extensive/thorough. But lectures are mostly regarding your opinions. How'd you feel, What would you do, How many of you would do this? is most of his lectures. I stopped going to lectures after the first exam. 2 papers, 3 exams. Syllabus says he curves, but didn't at all
Dale is the best! I thought stats would be awful but he made it engaging and much easier to understand. Only professor I've ever had who focused more on real-world "why it matters" than drilling facts and numbers for exams. It's not an easy subject but Dr. Glaser welcomes questions and cares about your learning process!
Great prof! Initially wanted to take Hattrup but didn't get in. Honestly did better than my friends in her class. He tells u in lectures what to study and gives example questions so go to class. Barely went to labs honestly just use the slides. Study guides are helpful for tests its all I used. He wants you to do well. Best curve ever for tests.
I took Glaser because he was the last teacher left but honestly he should have been one of my first choices. You do need to be prepared to teach yourself using the slides the TA's give you. However Glaser tells you in his lectures everything you need to know for the exams. He also does multiple practice problems. Labs are not necessary.
Overall a nice man, always responds to emails and is available at his office hours but man his tests are so hard. His lectures barely touch on what will be on the test, mostly goes over articles and tries to apply what will be on the test to them but that's just not how I learn. If you take this class with him, make sure to study his slides.
This is my second time having Glaser and I enjoyed him more in 370. He uses powerpoint slides for his lectures which are very detailed so I never had to use the textbook! However, you are only graded on three exams and three papers which is very nerve-wracking as he doesn't drop any of your lowest scores. There is no homework!
Nice and engaging guy, cares about the material. Spends most of class showing article headlines vaguely related to stats/testing/measurement, and the class discusses it. Fun, but NOT helpful for the exams. 3 tests+3 papers, no curve/EC. He & TA not on the same page with essay prompts. You wanna like him but the course structure is brutal.
His lecture structure and overall class structure made me not interested in declaring an emphasis in I/O psych. You're graded on 3 tests, 2 papers, no extra credit, and a slight grading curve. You don't need the textbook, but you need to study every one of the 200+ slides for this test. He really likes in-class discussions, but they felt pointless.
Gives (3) 200-300+ slides for the whole semester and thats it no study guide for exams. Two papers, they were graded pretty easily. Tried going to lectures and realized that most of the things that he talks about in lecture do not matter for the exams. Youre better off just reading the textbook to learn the content. Does not record lectures either
Definitely want to attend class, no study guides are given out. Lecture is based off of textbook. 3 exams and 2 papers.
He's an engaging professor and makes sure you understand the terms. I really enjoyed him as a professor but the TAs this semester are unhelpful and since they aren't in collaboration with the professor it makes expectations and grading frustrating. Dr. Glaser will tell you one thing but then the TA will mark you down points for that same thing!
Loved Dr. Glaser, class is a bit hard but if you put in the work and don't be lazy, you're good. Depends a lot on who your TA is too. TA Brooke was amazing
He is so sweet & understanding !! Lectures were not mandatory, but I encourage you to attend because he gives you so many hints & practice problems for the tests. His lecture slides could be a bit more organized, but the information is there. He also relates this subject back to the real world, which is nice. Exams were very fair.
smart guy, but can't teach. come to class prepared/read the textbook if you want to do well. instructions for papers are unclear most of the time, so good luck figuring it out on your own sometimes!
Down to earth guy! Genuinely enjoyed his class, and he made the lectures pretty relatable. Never randomly called on anyone, but provoked discussion among those who were willing. Tests completely fair. Essentially just reading and InQuizitive work, then an exam.
Classes were fine, he tells you everything you need to know and repeats the important material frequently. He uses a lot of examples in his lessons. He doesn't have very much flexibility with group work, but the assignments are easy. The lab component was relatively easy too, as the TA's walk you through everything and so does Dr. Glaser in class.
