Easy class. He drops a test, and the best part is if u like ur grade going into the final... u dont have to take it, he'll just drop it for u!!!

He is well organized. Has no cumulitive finals. Gives you learning objectives, and if you focus on those, and make sure you have them answered, you do not have to read the entire chapters. He has a good personality.
A man who does nonstop talking. I am not into nonstop talking so that is his only negative aspect.Besides that he is cool & funny, drops 2 quizzes of 15,no midterm or final, easy behavior explanations, and easy A as long as you read the chapters. No regrets.
Talks way too loud. Only lectures about a specific topic in each chapter, but quiz consist of material in entire chapter, but there are study guides for each chapter.
if you go to class and skim through the chapter, you can easily pass every test. He talks a lot and really fast, but you learn to understand him.
I never went to lecture and just did the study guides and I passed his class with an B
he talks about the same thing for a really long time. you have a quiz every week and about 4 out of 20 questions have to do with the lecture, so lecture isn't the most important part.
This guy does not stop talking for anyone! Eventually everything he says sounds the same...kinda like charlie brown. So in sense you don't know if he's teaching or not because half way between his stories and his lecture you are dying to leave.
Cool guy! Faily easy class and even though he talks A LOT, he keeps you interested. Good class to take.
I agree w/ most that he talks a lot. But I don't blame the guy; there's about 100+ ppl in the class, so he just wants to make sure he says it all before class is over. No midterm, no final. Just weekly quizzes that will help u get those points. Easy A.
must go to lecture every time if you want an A. not very easy because you have to read every chapter and know everything. he's not very helpful and you don't know what he's talking about, EVER.
he is an interesting guy; very animated and interested in his lectures. as said in other ratings, an easy class if you read and attend part of the lectures, plus he offers really easy extra credit
So easy. Read the book and an A is no problem.
Amazing, he could make a course on ketchup interesting.
he makes the clas soooo boring! he just rambles on forever and u cannot help but let your mind wander. he keeps u late too talking about nothing! but i guess thats the price u pay for a easy A
great professor, he likes to talk a lot, easy class, but you do have to go to class bc he takes role, just study the book which he does give study questions and i think it's very helpful he uses a lot of the examples (book) on the test and don't forget to study his notes too.
Easy class to pass. Just read the chapters and attend the monday lecture. On Wed. he introduces the next chapter but explains one definition the whole class session. Just read; try not to fall asleep in class (it happens), and you'll be fine!
you really dont have to go to the lectures. just read the book and do the study questions.
he talks so much. you sit in the lecture for over an hour and i have less than half of page of notes. his tests are mostly from the book and some from lecture. quiz every wednesday. no final. just quizzes and simple assignments. easy class.
Easy class...no final...quizzes every week that are just like the study guide. You always know your grade and there is easy extra credit..no hw
EASY IF YOU TAKE THE SI COURSE- Supplementary Instruction course = go over learning objectives and study for weekly quizzes- worth it for another unit of credit!
His lectures are boring, but the class itself is very easy... just do the study guides and that is basically what the test will be.
Extremely easy classes and very nice guy! In 351 SIMSOC was a fun and interesting activity. Would recommend him to anyone. Kind of boring lectures...he tends to ramble, but easy A and some activites are fun.
this class was pretty easy, just make sure you read the study guide. lectures are pretty useless, i slept through every one.
Dr. Jorgenson is a great teacher. His class was informative. Tends to ramble a little, but very willing to help. Watch out for SIMSOC project, it is a simulated society that gets kind of emotionally involving. Good class. Gives thorough review questions.
there are 13 quizes each week, not 2 bad. make sure you buy his notes at the book store- they are SUPER helpful. there are no finals and no midterms. there are 3 behavioral experiments but they are SOO easy! you can finish them in like 5 min. TAKE HIM!
This was a great class to take. SIMSOC is a great way to learn the material. Got an A and he administers tests well.
interesting and easy!
Likes to talk alot. Just do the reading and you should get an A without a doubt. Take supplemental instruction if you can-guaranteed A.
Great guy, interesting stories, talks a bit too much though...Never really answers a real queston, sort of steps around it. But overall cool class

awesome. this guy is great, often times thougth provoking and this is extremely important. really nothing negative to say about this guy. thanks dr j.

He is a really great professor and he is able to keep his auience's attention with snide remarks and random comments. He uses a lot of visuals to help get his point across which is really helopful. I recommend him if u need to take Psych 100!
This guy is great because if you do bad on his tests once the next time class meets you get to take the EXACT SAME test over again !!! And if you do good the first time you don't have to show up to the next day. But I think he only does that for 351 and not 100. Sometimes it's hard to understand him because he talks so fast but mumbles sometimes but overall a good teacher.
You can definately pass this class with an A. The ONLY drawback to the class is that he rambles during lectures, can be very hard to follow, and is very easy to tune out.
TEST EVERY WEEK.... do not need to go to class, its straight from the book
class isnt always required since most of the quiz comes from the book...he emails you all you need to know 13 quizzes the whole semester and he drops your 2 lowest scores...really easy to get an A...crazy man though...hard to listen to but the work is simple
Great guy. A bit hard to understand, but he really wants you to learn. Took him for social psych as well. I love his retake testing style.
This class is pretty easy, just read the text the day before the quiz and youll pull an A. He puts lecture items on his quizes so sometimes its good to go to class. The only annoyance i had was the stupid girls that would always talk during class. Chill class. Easy A
The best! Easy class, super good teacher. No final, or midterms just 13 24-multiple choice question quizes (or exams) each week. Drops 2 lowest scores. Class gets boring, but he purposely makes the last 4 questions on the quizzes based on the lectures. Those questions are worth double too. But still, easy A, take him! He has an awesome beard too!
take him, hes an easy A. theres no final or midterm just multiple choice tests and he drops the lowest two. you should go to the lectures because the material that he covers is on the test but his lectures are really boring.
His lectures are hard to follow, but the class is easy since the syllabus tells you exactly what you need to study for the tests.
ok i am currently enrolled in his class and his class isn't easy. His exams are very confusing, very similar answers on each question. There is a curve but i still find myself struggling. Ptrobably the most challenging class i"ve taken yet!

I can't believe people think this class is hard! I usually hate school but I absolutely LOVED this class. You learn so much. Plus, Dr. J is such an easy professor. He's funny, smart, and an easy grader. No midterm, no final. 13 quizzes, drops 2 lowest scores. Grades on a curve. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Easy A!!!
if you have trouble going to class...don't take him...
I have never heard someone talk as much as he does. He is probably the most longwinded individual I've ever met. He's pretty easy though. MC quizzes and very short (1pg) papers to write. Easy A or B.
His tests are easy, pretty much directly from the book. His lectures drags on about certain topics. This course during the summer is long but cool.
He reminds me a lot of Kramer on Seinfeld. lol. Um...yeah he's extremely long winded, will keep you to the last minute of class, and is slightly neurotic but all ina good way lol. He's one of those professors that after the class you say..he's crazy, but he's awesome lol. If you take him early in the morning, get coffee lol. He rules. Take him!

he is really hard to understand, but if you're a good student the class will be an easy A
BORING!
Nice guy, easy class. You have to go to class to do well on quizes(4 ?s directly from class) but he makes it intresting. Spastic, but fun guy. Very loud. 13 quizes, 3 behavior explinations (15 min each tops.honestly), 2 experiment hours (all psy100 req. beh. exp. and exp.) no midterm or final. Took sup. class and never studied. HELPFUL. TAKE HIM!
I had to pay someone to beat me with a stick to keep me awake.
No Final! Takes the best 11 of 13 quizzes, 3 BS 1-page papers, and 2 volunteer psych experiments. Quizzes are 16 book questions and 4 in-class questions. You can probably guess the in-class ones, so don’t bother going to lecture.
Intersting class. Very passionate about is work. A chapter quiz every week (13), subtracts 2 lowest scores. 3 half page papers, very easy, No final! Not mandatory to go to class, except for the quizzes. Emails detailed study questions for each quiz. Easy A. Just study the book. It's all memorization, really.
He is a great guy, great class, but his lectures are a little monotone and drag on. But, great class. Easy A/B.
you need to go to class every week/day because he gives a test every week. But it's really helpful for your grade =) just do what he ask and study for the test and the class should be an easy A
Very easy class. Quiz each week. If you go to class and read the book, you'll get an A.
Easy class. Don't need notes, just go over study guides right before the quiz. Weekly quizzes and he drops the two lowest scores, not cumulative!! The final is just another quiz so if you have decent scores you might not even have to go. He gave us chocolate too! lol
Weekly quizzes, pretty easy as long as you read the book. Usually has about 4 questions on each quiz that are straight from lecture and the other 16 are from the text. Startled us a lot when he would yell at us as an "experiment" but very nice Doc. I would reccomend
if you don't mind teachers talking non-stop and mumbling, he's for you. starts class 10 min early, keeps talking after time's up. it seems like what he talks about in class is mostly stuff he makes up. i got extremely bored in his class, but his weekly quizzes were alright, just got mundane after a while. didn't like his teaching style.
Easy class. I only attended his class once a week and passed with a B. Talks a lot, boring lectures but can be funny at times. Quiz once a week, as long as you do his study guide (he provides ALL study guides for each ch. at beginning of semester) from the book. no hwk, just 2 BE's and 2 outside experiment labs. Highly recommend.
Easy class, horrible professor; was absent the first few days and was not able to explain syllabus clearly. Because of this a couple students missed one huge part of the class and lost a letter grade; me included. After asking him about it all he said was to "look at the syllabus" without bothering to check twice on what he could have done to help.
His powerpoint lectures are extremely boring and he justs seems to mumble on about who knows what for the whole class. Attendence isn't mandatory but he passes a sheet around each class so you can mark your name off which may help later on when determining grades. There are quizzes every week, but no final. Also, 2 BE and 2 research experiments.
This guy makes almost so sense at all during his lectures. I feel like he just really likes to hear himself talk. He uses big words that dont make a whole lot of sense. I would recommend keeping a tally of how many times he says "as such" or "shall we say" to pay attention. I tallied as suches and he said it 1324 times all semester! Thats a 47 a da
this professor talks to much, some of his questions are just plain dumb, dont really need the book. I would go once a week to take the quiz and got a B
you only have to attend his class once a week to take the test, but the class is BORING! he is BORING! he mumbles and rambles too much. you need to read the book.
Sooo Boring! During his lectures, it's easy to doze off. Don't even bother going to class, and just go to take the quiz that he has once a week. Just make sure you read and review the chapter in the textbook. There are a total of 13 quizzes and he drops the lowest 2 scores. No final.
yes... he may talk and talk but this is definitely an easy and interesting class! I would totally recommend it. I managed to get a B by only studying before class :D made my semester easy
Incredibly hard to pay attention to his lectures. I would recommend only coming for the quizzes and leaving immediately after. Your only way of learning is reading the book. He loves sending e-mails. Overall, extremely easy A. No final, just weekly quizzes.
While his lectures are boring, the class is easy. No midterm, no final. 13 quizzes and he only uses the highest 11 scores. The book is necessary. He does quiz on the lecture, but always emails about what he talked about. There are two Behavior Explanation papers, but it's simple and if you don't do it right, he lets you re do it. Take the class.
BEWARE!This class isnt as easy as everyone says it is, its SUPER BORING and he TALKS WAY TOO MUCH.Hes a nice guy&wants the best for his students so he gives a quiz every week.BUT,you do have to seriously study&do the 3 page study guide everyweek.Dont think you can get away with not coming to class&barely studying to get a good grade.
He's is definitely a really nice guy. Showing up to class is not mandatory. Don't understand his notes or their format. Gives 13 quizzes and drops the lowest two scores, no tests or finals. Talks quite a bit, but he has his funny moments. MUST READ THE BOOK.
This course seems easy in the beginning, but you end up teaching yourself the whole semester. there are 13 quizzes one every week and they get a little overwhelming because you don't have time to learn the material, you are basically memorizing out of the book. Really study the book + study guide on your own. oh and he loves to hear himself talk.
Do not take him! Sure, his class and quizzes may be easy. But he is the worst lecturer ever! You practically teach yourself out of the book. I did not get anything out of this class except a letter grade of a "B." I did not gain any knowledge of psychology whatsoever.
This class could not be any easier. The whole class is based on weekly quizzes which he gives you study guides to and even gives you the page number in the book where you can find the answers. The lowest two quiz scores are dropped so if you do good on the quizzes you dont even have to show up to the last two. No Final!!!
Pretty easy class, 12 in class quizzes. Do the study guides and come to class. Professor rambles a lot, but most of the information is interesting.
he's a very nice guy and can have interesting lectures, but they are usually very boring. you HAVE to read. weekly quizes are pretty easy if you read and studied.
the class is fair.. you have to read for the quizzes and attend his lectures... there are no midterm and final, but there are quizzes every week.
Read the book. Use the study guide. Easy A.
He's very nice, & I like his personality! The material is interesting, but his lectures= bit boring to listen to b/c he rambles. Weekly quizzes come straight out of the book, few from lectures. Basically what you need to do to get an A is read & answer questions he gives & you'll do well. Easy A/B. Please respect him & don't talk during lectures.
His lectures are not helpful. You practically have to study and to learn the subject matter on your own.
Juswanna let every1 no that i am missing the last 2 weeks of this class cause he drops 2 lowest tests out of the thirteen weekly ones.easiest a if u read atleast 4 hours a week.Dont ask him for help because he is one of those dudes that goes on and on.i basically go to class once a week since he doesnt take roll def reccomen for those wit jobs.
You will get an A if you read the weekly assigned chapters. Attendance isn't a must, he emails important lecture info that will be on the weekly tests. There are no test or finals, just 12 quizes. He's a funny guy. Will make you sing if you are late on quiz day (:
Very interesting guy. Lectures are not necessary, because all of the info is straight from the book (except for lecture questions on quiz). One quiz every week, no final, drops 3 lowest quiz scores. Take his class.
I honestly enjoyed this class! easy A/B if you read&study the chapters from the book!you have an exam every week, however he drops the *2 lowest test scores&theres no cumulative final(:
Underestimated this class, so i am now paying the price. You're paying to teach yourself by taking him. Nice guy, but not much of a 'professor'.
The class lectures were really boring. He just rambles on and on, so just take down what's on the slides b/c those are what's going to be on the quizzes. 13 quizzes, drops 2 lowest. I got an A in the class by just reading the book and doing the learning objectives and just going to class and copying what's on the slides.
Dr. J is fun and loud! Class is easy. You don't really have to go to class but his quizzes have lecture questions so you might want to go. Although everything is on the book and study guide. Quizzes are every week(very easy) and NO FINAL! I recommend him!
Easy A/B. There is a quiz every week but he drops the two lowest test scores, also two behavior explanations. Attendance is not mandatory. He tends to ramble on and on but please respect him and don't speak while he is lecturing.
Jorgenson rambles sooo much! But! There's ONLY 13 quizzes, one every week. No final. Just read the textbook, do the study guide, and get lecture notes from someone else. It will be on the quizzes. Easy A if ya ask me.
EASY class!!!! There is a test every week there are only 20 m/c questions and he provides you with a study guide. Do the study guides, study, do well on the exams and you shall get an A, however; he will drop your two lowest scores.
this class was SUPER easy. 13 exams, no final. and he provides the study guide for each chapter in the syllabus along with the pages to the answers. have to do 2 behavior explanations, where you relate topics from the book to stuff that happens in your life. lectures are boring and they drag on, but he's pretty funny and he shows funny videos.
Even though he rambles ALOT this class was super easy. 13 quizzes, the two lowest scores are dropped. No Final and two behavior explanations and two participation studies. This class should be an easy A, I would recommend him.
Easy class but lecture is BORING. Sadly you need some of his notes so go to class if not then you can most likely get by with just reading the book. If you miss class READ THE BOOK! If not then you risk failing an easy course. Now how embarrassing is that.
It is an easy class. 13 quizzes, two behavior explanations, and couple extra credit. The lectures are boring. READ the book and do study guides. ALWAYS! 20 M/C quiz every week. Very funny guy.
Very easy class. If you have the concentration to pay attention then what he has to say is actually interesting. It just takes a lot of concentration.
It's a really easy class. The exam is mostly on reading from the textbook which tends to be more interesting than I thought. Lecture is boring but you need to go in order to get the notes since he doesn't post it up on beachboard.13 exams but drop lowest two. 2 Behavioral Explanation papers and attend 2 psychology activities outside of class/online
Quiz every week, no exams. The quizzes are 20 questions each and they are all from the book and lecture. He lectures after the quizzes are collected also. He's loud because there was a lot of talking amongst the class. He's an amazing prof, funny too.
13 quizzes. 11 graded. 2 behavior ass. which are only like 2 paragraphs.2 credits from participating in research.sign up right away for the online ones. The lectures can be tedious, but the study guides help immensely. I got an A from going to class&just reading/skimming the chapters&doing the study guide. He offers a lot of help&is prompt.
Easy class dont need to go to class only on quiz days. just read the book and do the study guide. You pretty much have to memorize it for the quiz
Entire class grade is a sum of points from quizzes and research participation and 2 easy papers. Lectures can get boring, but content in the lectures is 30% of the quizzes. He gives study guides for the rest of the content from the book. He's a cool guy, is open to student's questions, and is kinda funny at times.
If you want an easy class, take this course. I was looking forward to learning about psychology, but was disappointed by the blandness and boredom of taking this class. Professor likes to ramble & it is difficult to pay attention in lecture. He gives out study guides and emails hints for quizzes- do them & study them!
super easy A! 13 quizzes and drops the lowest 2, NO MIDTERM OR FINAL. he also gives you the questions to the quizzes from the book and his power points so just answer those and you'll be fine. his lectures are boring though and you just need to copy the notes and not listen at all
super easy class! if you just want to get psy 100 over with take him! 13 quizzes, no midterm, no final! he drops the lowest 2 quiz grades. 2 assignments that are super easy and you email to him. extra credit opportunities by participating in experiments. lecture is boring and he spends like 30 mins per slide, just copy the notes & study!
Mr. Jorgenson is very boring... If you want to take an easy Psychology course, I recommend him! I don't even bother going to his class besides on quiz days, because reading the book alone is sufficient enough to get you by. He rambles for long periods of time and you tend to lose interest very easily. However, his quizzes are easy!
Easy A psychology class. He knows a great deal of knowledge regarding psychology but he's ideas are all over the place. One good thing I liked about the class is he sends emails with your current grades after every Monday quiz so you know where you stand all the time. Very chill class. I recommend!
The actual class wasn't that bad, but he expects you to know everything and skips essential steps. I took an AP Psych class and I still had a tough time even doing the study guide. If you go to his office to talk to him he talks down on you a little bit and he's kind of intimidating. A professor you shouldn't really try to get help at office hours.
