Mr. Wilson is the best teacher I have ever had. His knowledge of aviation safety subjects and his delivery in the clasroom are second to none. He is a teacher's teacher. Take his classes--especially his short two-week summer courses--you'll be glad you did.

Great teacher, can get off topic easily but cool guy and gives great lectures and presentations. I highly recommend Mr. Wilson for any class especially Aviation Safety and Meterology. Mr. Wilson is the opposite of Cooper. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and Cooper is NOT.

I've taken all of his safety and weather classes so I know. He actually makes class FUN! Watching videos of planes crashing is always entertaining, eh?

One of my favorite things about Wilson is that he will have study sessions outside the regularly scheduled classes when there are tests coming up. These have always been very helpful. He's also and incredibly nice teacher and tries to make the class fun with his silly jokes.

This guy rocks!! The best best best teacher. I wish Prof Sloan could take lessons from him. Wilson is funny and he respects us (unlike Sloan wh just yells at us and is crude). I wish he could teach all thhe FLT classes

Wilsooon!! awesome dude, funny in a very odd way, and totally hanging out during class. his classes arent nearly as easy as he says they are, but he provides all the homework and materials to succeed. more than anything he is just a fun guy to learn from.

Professor Wilson is great! He is funny and very well educated. His homework helps for EVERY section in the class and helps for every test. He makes sure you know the information before a test and if you don't happen to do so well he will have you come by his office for a very informative, (and again) helpful review! He is AWESOME!!

My favorite teacher. Always enjoy and cant wait to get to class. Class is always intresting and you learn something important and fun everyday. But do not take research artlice lightly. Easy to write and can be great paper but does grade hard on it even if its just basic grammar. Luckily the paper isnt worth too much of final grade. Wilson's great!

Take notes other wise you are catching up in the end even thought he puts PowerPoint on Blackboard

Wondeful teacher! It's an FAA class so there are strict rules, but he has no choice but to enforce them. He WANTS everyone to succeed and always bends over backwards to make sure people understand. He's a real funny guy and shows it through his quirky Canadian speech. Homework is a bit on the heavy side, but it helps.

Wilson is the man! One of the best fight professors in the aviation department. You learn alot and about real world scenarios. I learned alot from him over the last few years. He definitely inspires you as a pilot. If you go to class and take notes on the study packets, it should be an easy A!

Wilson is legendary. I haven't met a person who doesn't like the guy. Through some kind of wizardry he can turn the dullest topic into something palatable. The homework he takes the time to prepare for his students is extremely thoughtful and helpful, and his humor sparkles. I can't wait to take more classes with this guy!

Excellent professor, minimal studying but lots of relevant homework to make up for it. He is very helpful, easy to understand. He has inspired me to get my MS in Aviation after my time at CWU. You will be a very good amatuer weatherman when you are done in his weather classes. Looking forward to physiology with him next quarter!

Dale Wilson tries to over prepare his students for the FAA exams which may seem tedious, but is definitely worth it over the long run. The power points are very helpful and if you listen and do the work, you'll easily receive an A.

Wilson's an excellent and fair professor. I've taken 3 different courses with him so far and I have absolutely no complaints. Show up, do the work, ask questions when needed, and any class you take with him should go smoothly.

Great professor with a wide knowledge of meteorology and aviation. Always interested in the subject, even when the subject matter is boring, he tends to teach the subject in a way that gets you interested. Assignments are fairly easy so long as you do the work. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT,it can pay off at the end of the quarter.

Not a fan of aviation management courses (I'm a pilot), but I've had professor Wilson for multiple courses, both management and pilot focused. He's a great instructor. There's a reason all of the reviews of him here are positive.

His powerpoints are OK but too many words but he knows his stuff for sure and if you come to class and listen you should do OK but it is just kind of boring sometimes. He is a funny and nice guy.

As a pilot, I often had Wilson for classes that were not exciting to me. However, no matter how boring, he always does his best to make it as interesting as possible. He's a genuinely nice guy, and will almost always help you out, provided you're a reasonable individual and you do your due diligence. It's possible to skip and do just fine.

Professor Wilson is a nice and great professor. The stuff he taught in this class is really important in aviation. His jokes are not too bad sometime, his lecture can be a little boring though. Go to class, do all the homework assignment (not too many), and study the powerpoints than you should be good!

Wilson is a super nice old guy and he is funny in a dry way. Had several of his courses and they are OK but are very similar. Only gripe is if we could have some more up to date ways of learning as it is pretty old school. He uses a carosel slide projector for crying out loud! JUst keep up with the class and you will do fine.

Dale is a very nice and funny person. His lecture is kinda boring at times but it is important to learn the stuff he is talking about if you are in the aviation pilot major. Not a hard class as long as you do all the assignments and spend some time to study.

Overall good teacher, he covers all the information really well, just make sure you turn in assignments in on time. Other than that I would defiantly take a class from him again

This class is pretty easy all his quizzes have two attempts so getting an A isn't that hard. Lectures are pretty fun but can be boring sometimes. The most important part of this class is the ARMS assignment. I recommend always work with partners when you can.

Wilson is awesome! He's really easy going and a fairly easy grader, especially on the in-class presentations. The few assignments aren't tough, just take time. Definitely would recommend.

Mr. Wilson is a good teacher. You can tell he spends a lot of effort putting together the powerpoints even though they can be dry and very boring at times. He has a dry sense of humor and knows his material. He is very hard to reach outside of class. As the others say, easy A just keep up with the work in class.

Wilson is a thoughtful and caring professor and really just wants to make sure you are learning how to be a successful and safe pilot. Sometimes his homework is challenging, but he is excellent about answering questions and explaining difficult content. I wish he was available for more classes and I high key wish I could just be his friend.

Wilson is a great guy! Super funny, Eh! He loves playing the "Great White North" for our class which keeps us entertained. It is an extremely boring class, but he does his very best to not make it that way. The has huge powerpoints and crazy tests! You will have to work for this grade! Study harder then you've ever studied before!!

I hated Aviation Weather Services, but absolutely loved Wilson. He expected you to study outside of class quite a bit, but he really treated me like an adult because of it. He understands that we don't want to be in class any more than he will so he will tell you what to do to make each class shorter. Definitely be willing to learn on your own tho

Professor Wilson is a super nice guy and really cares about his students, he knows that some of the topics he teaches can be boring and munade, but he tries to make it as interesting as he can!

Wilson is a phenomenal professor! He is super funny and very intelligent; his lectures are quite engrossing and interesting. Many of the topics in these classes are not exciting at all, but he makes them enjoyable to learn and tries to make class less boring for all us hosers. The amount of reading and quizzes is intense sometimes, but worth it.

I really enjoyed this class and Mr. Wilson! The textbook we used was one he wrote himself, and I found it to be engaging and fun to read. Wilsons lectures were thorough and well structured. I enjoyed listening to him speak, and I especially enjoyed the Aviation related stories that were well connected to the course objectives. Great Structure.

He did write the book! Very knowledgeable about the subject but the class was hybrid and kind of dry at times. I did not attend all of the live classes bcs they seemed redundant. The book is excellent so you can just read it and get most of the topic. Nice guy and funny.

Funny guy - and he wrote the book! Human factors is so important in aviation and I am glad Mr. Wilson agrees to teach it from retirement. I enjoyed the class.

Dale wilson is a very experienced pilot. His classes are well organized, you need to buy the textbook. he cares about the class he commutes for the class specifically while being retired. u should make sure to buy the E-edition of his book, because the bookwork has you find specific quotes from within the text and then fill in the blank.

Lectures are as engaging as they can be with videos and little surprises at times. He is very experienced. For this class at least, there will be a bit of work you have to put in for the assignments but it is nice that they are just a couple big assignments that you get to work on a piece each week. Quizes are designed for you to get an A two tries

Professor Wilson is a fantastic teacher, he regularly demonstrates his knowledge in a meaningful way. He is always ready to give help when needed.

Professor Wilson is engaging and brings humor to the usually mundane human factors content. The textbook he wrote is helpful, and unstuck ai proved useful for class prep.
