hella easy. 1 day only 3 hrs. i recommend monday nite during da spring semester. deres more monday holidays in dere. nd during da holidays he tends to ski a lot. nd wen he skiied, he broke his arm nd shoulder. he skiied twice. everytime he broke sumthin he was out after da holiday. less dan 10 classes i think. hes pretty lazy. tests r take home.

hardest class ever?? wow! this person below me mustn't have taken very many classes. sure, it's no college prep class, but HELLO you're in college now. i'm at about 60 units and this class was as hard as basic nutrition... i.e. it wasn't. this was one of the most laid back classes i've ever taken. 4 hmwrk assignments and 5 TAKE HOME TESTS. easy A.

My best class ever. If you bothered to listen, it wasn't hard at all. He made it fun, informative and entertaining.

You learn a lot in this class. Lots of lecture, take notes for tests! Tests are all take home - but takes about 4 hours to do - kinda hard. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT!

Dr Baker keeps the class entertaining with his clean sense of humor. He is a stand up fellow and I recommend you take a day to speak with him outside of class. Baker gets to every person that raises their hand for input/questions without missing a beat. His teaching ability and empathy towards students makes Psychology easy to learn and understand.

Really enjoyed his class. The take home tests with a 100 questions really made you think! Pretty easy class and plenty of xtra credit. I liked the Personality observation the best.

Best teacher I have ever had through out my entire life. He not only loves teaching, but he strives to make us truly understand what he's teaching and only wants the best for each and every one of his students. Take all his classes and request him as a counselor! :)

Class was 50/50 for me not super easy but not entirely hard. All he does is pass out power point packets and goes through each slide every single day. Each test is 100 questions but their take home tests. As for essays my class wrote 2 essays in APA format. I purchased the book however its not mandatory the packets have everything you need.

I loved Mr. Baker, he honestly one of the best teachers at Delta College. He makes the classroom fun and actually makes you want to learn the material. GREAT TEACHER!

At first I thought I was in trouble with this class. However, I was wrong. Mr. Baker is an awesome teacher and keeps the class entertaining. Definitely need to show up because of random assignments that will hurt your grade in the end. need textbook.

Be prepared to take a quiz or test every weekend, and make sure that you show up to class everyday because you never know when a random quiz will pop up. They are usually just for attendance, but trust me they add up fast. Also I recommend forming a group with some classmates. That's what I did with three other people and it helped so much!

One of the best professor's I have ever had. I have taken all of his classes whether I need them or not for the simple fact that he is amazing. He knows and loves his subject and it is infectious.

He's awesome. He's very easygoing and personable. Material is pretty clear and out of the book and the final was not only open book, but only on the last four chapters rather than comprehensive. He keeps you engaged with plenty of activities rather than lecture alone. Class is pretty chill.

Cool and funny guy. His lectures are interesting. He makes you get into small groups almost for every meeting so be prepared for that, especially when discussion intimate topics. Papers consist of one research paper and one paper that's all about you. You don't need the physical textbook.

I took his online course. He seemed like a pretty chill teacher. My advice, just read and participate, and you'll pass.

Not the easiest but by far the best, Professor Baker is a great teacher, lectures are long and sometimes boring but he finds ways to engage his students. Don't skip class and study for exams which are not too tough.

Probably one of the most underrated professors at Delta. Very easy class overall. There are weekly online exams, and he removes the lowest one(s). He goes easy on the grading as far as paper grading goes. He announces due dates in class and hands out pop quizzes, so attendance is important. Group convos occur often, so be prepared to talk about sex

Mr. Baker was a really easy teacher for psych 1. Tests, quizzes, and the final were all online and we only had a few homework assignments in class. Everything could be found in his lectures or the textbook, pretty easy class. No midterm either so thats a plus.

Took online Psych 30 class. Great instructor. Very fair with grading. Had some issues with the online platform, however, he made allowances for system issues. Would love to take another one of his classes! Highly recommend this online course. Even though I purchased loose leaf text too, used online version almost exclusively.

He's an amazing prof. Just make sure you go to class because he gives in class work you won't be able to make up if you miss a day. His test are pretty easy (if you read). Overall he's a great teacher and I highly recommend.

I have also taken him for PSYCH 17 and he's great! Yes the work is a lot but what do you expect in a PSYCH class? There is work everyday so if you miss class, you will miss out. Some tests are take home. He's funny and you will learn a lot. He likes doing group discussions and sometimes surveys so you can speak your mind. I DO RECOMMEND HIM!

Really nice guy. Easy grader. The one time I emailed him, he did not respond. He gave encouraging feedback on the online discussions tho. He actually cancelled the big paper at the end of the semester (told us a good week before) and since your lowest test grade is dropped, the final is actually optional. I'd def take again.

He is a good teacher, the class kind of dragged at the end but it was still interesting! Stay on top of the REQUIRED online assignments which included weekly lecture assignments, quizzes, and tests every 3 chapters. Show up to class because attendance is graded based on the daily assignments. Super easy as long as you are organized!

I absolutely love Mr. Baker. He's funny, entertaining and sweet. I felt like I could talk to him about anything and his class was and will always be my favorite because it was super interesting!

Mr. Baker is awesome! I took Psych 30 online and absolutely loved it. He is very easy-going and very helpful. The work load is definitely doable and the videos that you have to watch are interesting. Every week there is 1-2 discussions, 1 quiz (10q's), and a chapter review (tedious but easy). You do actually have to read the textbook though.

I had to retake this class and was dreading it because the other professor was so boring and didn't even teach half the things that professor Baker taught. His layout is well planned out and he gives you a fair rating. He even gives you an optional comprehensive final and drops the lowest test score. Definitely would take his class again!!

Above average workload. That, in essence, sums up his online human sexuality course. I've had advanced business courses that didn't require that much homework. I didn't enjoy the class at all. Oh, and you're going to read every letter of that book because you never know where the quiz and exam questions come from. Still, it's not a hard class.

Mr. Baker was a good instructor for PSY30. Be prepared to read extensively; you'll be going through that entire (long) textbook, nearly cover to cover. There is a quiz and video assignment for every single chapter + discussions; there's a test for every 3-4 chapters + a final, if you happened to bomb one of your tests. Accessible and nice teacher.

Took Human S. a semester or two ago and absolutely loved it. It was VERY open, and there was occasional hw and random in-class assignments. The tests were online so you don't need the physical text at all. Online tests are based off CHAPTER REVIEW AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER. You can also search key terms from Qs. You're welcome.

Definitely one of my favorite professors. He made the class ver y interesting and fun at all times. I really encourage everyone to take him. If you read the chapters and take notes in class you should pass your quizzes and tests easily, they are basically word for word from the text.

My first college course and first online course, overall, a great course. Online textbook is necessary & hard copy is helpful. Multiple assignments every week that are easy & not very time consuming & provide LOTS of cushion for bad test grades. Weekly discussions were always interesting but required three comments a week which was a little much

A lot of work, but I felt it was worth it. This was a very easy and interesting class. The only thing I didnt care for was the $90 fee for Connect.

Fun and nice class. Amazing teacher with good lecture every week. Even though it was an online class I really felt like my teacher were assisting me. But don't take this class if ur not ready to read the textbook. Random quiz questions on every chapter. Easy B. Definitely enjoyed this class

This was an easy class, if you take your time doing the assignments, you will get an A. He will drop the lowest test grade and if anyone is going to take his online class, DO the optional final exam. The final exam was really easy and all the answers came straight out of the textbook. I did the final exam, got an A+ and it boosted up my grade.

Mr Baker is one of my favorite professor's at Delta. He's helpful, answers any questions you may have, and also will change your mind about many things covered during the semester. He is very open minded and laid back. Easy class is you show up and pay attention. Highly recommend!!

Taking this class online is much easier because you are more flexible with your time and find information online. His grading on discussions and projects is very easy as well. Make sure you do pretty well on tests and Pearson which you can search it on quizlet to help you get an easy A.

Ive taken Baker also for PSYCH. Ive taken both classes online so its always more work. He added Connect to his assignments but it pays off. I currently have an A in this class and got an A in PSYCH. Replies fast to emails and always gives you reminders and tips. He wants you to pass the class and cares for your well being.

Professor Baker was an OUTSTANDING professor! He gave the best lectures, & to make sure everyone is involved, he would do mini activities with who ever you're sitting next to which made this class very comfortable to be in. He also provides very good information on every topic, which made learning in his class very interesting. Online work is easy!

I absolutely loved this professor at the beginning of the semester. Very caring and understanding, but if you have a question, be prepared to wait a while for a response. If you need to ask a question, talk to him in class. Besides that, if you do the work you will get an A!

He is one of the best professors I have ever taken. Leaving his class was so hard because the whole class felt like a family. He is very understanding and caring, he's also funny. I loved the environment he created for our class and I never wanted to miss a day for that class. I learned so much from him. He's just an amazing human being.

Good professor, he replies fast to emails and clears up any misunderstandings you may have. However, this course is not an easy A, it requires a lot of reading and make sure to do all your discussions! He drops the lowest test score and the final is optional!

Daniel Baker is one of my favorite professors here at Delta, he is really caring and funny and cares a lot about this work. There are test and quizzes every week on the chapter that is being taught but they are not that hard. The reading is kinda heavy so be prepared. You have a test every 4 chapters so pay attention. Highly recommend him!

Professor Baker made psychology so easy to understand. He was a genuine and gave sincere feedback. I would definitely take this class again if it was necessary. Super interesting course, great professor.

If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. He actually made this class enjoyable, and I truly liked learning throughout this class. Hes extremely accommodative during this pandemic as well. Honestly, just do all your work, have the textbook with you during tests, follow the rubric of the discussion posts, and you will pass.

This class was very straightforward and easy. We had to purchase an online textbook that had the course system build in. We had a discussion every week based on the chapter we read in the book. We had a test every 4 chapters we read. Overall, the class was very easy and informational.

Lots of reading and one main paper (6-8 pages) at the end of the semester . Good professor though!

Professor Baker's class was an enlightening experience. His human sexuality class was not only informative but relatable. He was also very kind and understanding of his students. I thoroughly enjoyed his class and would recommend everyone, regardless of their major, to take his human sexuality class.

This class was the best class I had for Spring 21. I took it to fulfill my reqs to get into UoP and I had a lot of fun. Just be mindful of due dates and make time for homework and textbook work and you should be fine. You learn a lot about others and its a class where you should know how to study for yourself to learn.

Professor Baker is one of my favorite Professors by far since I attended Delta College. He allows everyone to retake quizzes if you want a better score. By having good scores on your test and quizzes, he gives you the option to take the Final Test.

Definitely get ready to read in this class. I'm not sure if it's the same with in-person classes but he had us read 3 chapters a week, which was equivalent to at least 4 hours of notes a day. The class is very time consuming and is focused on reading out of the text book and taking notes, weekly discussions, and small weekly quizzes.

The best professor for sexuality class. His class is AMAZING!! Learned a lot in this class. Weekly discussions, video quizzes, and revel which is 20 percent of your grade. Every 4 weeks there is 4 chapter exam. The Final is optional, and extra credit too. Easy A class

I took this class in summer school online- Professor Baker excellent teacher and content so important. Syllabus was clear, he reminded us what is due, discussion/quizzes and had great links to read. Do your reading/discussions/Revel- definitely take from him-you will enjoy the opening song he chose-This should be taught to Seniors in high school!

Amazing professor! Assignments include reading and quizzes using Revel. Every couple chapters there is a test on Canvas. There is a video or article to read every week and a quiz to go along with it. There is also 1 or 2 discussions per week and you must respond to two classmates. No essays! Final is optional. 100% recommend this professor!

The course load was manageable and predictable. Each week's hw can be finished in about 2 hours. I had gone to his in-person class a couple of times and he was very interactive and made the class really enjoyable. I would recommend his in-person class for people who have time and want a professor who is very engaging.

Almost all of the classwork is on Revel, accessed through Canvas. It's really just reading and learning, then answering short multiple-choice questions. There are some class discussions as well, and they're pretty easy because you just watch some videos or TED Talks and then answer questions. I recommend Dan Baker, especially for this class!

Class was very fun because you get to interact and connect with your classmates to practice counseling. Workload was overall very easy to navigate and the professor allowed late work to be submitted. This was definitely an easy and very fun class :)

I enjoyed this class, it was my first Psychology class. I enjoyed the professor, a good amount of assignments but not hard, no papers, some tests and quizzes but easy. As long as you do the work you should pass everything is straight forward and he gives great feedback, good at responding, and quick grading.

I took this class during summer 2024 and this class was asynchronous, 6 weeks. Assignments for the week were all due on Saturday except for discussions due on Wednesdays. I just had to log in once a week to get all the assignments done. All content is from the textbook Pearson Revel, and there aren't lecture videos or anything. I enjoyed the class!

This class was very easy for me, I loved that the textbook was fully online and it read to you. Lessons and quizzes were not hard. If you read your weekly lectures you will pass with an A.

Professor Baker is very nice teacher. He organized all the work in a modules. He assigned some extra credit assignments which are very easy to complete it. I genuinely prefer to take this teacher but not in summer term because it is kind of pressurizing in summer or difficult to handle.

Took Psych C1000. Lectures were engaging and helped with tests. Every week you had to complete a chapter in the E-Text not difficult. Tests like very other week, multiple choice not difficult. Responds to emails. There were in class group assignments just show up and you get credit though participation does make the class more enjoyable. Easy A.

The workload is heavy, but you learn a lot. He does Pearson for his textbooks, and you take tests on there. He sends out caring emails to students to make sure they're motivated to keep on working. Amazing Prof. would take again.

I took this class fully online. This class is homework heavy with assignments done via Pearson and tests done on Canvas. Taking good notes is crucial in this class as the tests are 100 questions. There are also a good amount of extra credit. Overall, the assignments are all pretty easy, just have good time management and you'll pass with an A.

Super entertaining lectures and examples, I personally slacked, but the textbook and the assignments are pretty easy to do.
