Challenging and rewarding course I have ever had the honor taking with ERAU. Used all my collective knowledge learned through every course taken during my degree program. "Stretch" enjoys teaching his subjects. SFTY 320 is an easy, fun, and fascinating class. Stretch requires you to participate which means no sleeping in class. It will not be hard to do because his class is interesting.

AWESOME Instructor!!! I have had Mr. Dendauw in the past for Saftey courses and he is an exceptional teacher. The class is always ready to go and it is never boring. The videos about Aircraft accidents and investigations are amazing as to see how NTSB finds the causes leading to the accident.

At the beginning of class I was really sweating this cap stone but the way the instructor delivered it really helped me to relax and take one step at a time. The example projects really helped me. I would definitely recommend this professor to other students that will be taking the Capstone!!

I appreicated the emails each week updating what is due, what week it is, and to assure us that he (professor) was avialable if anyone needed any help. Highly recommend This Professor! Wouldn't have passed, but since he explained the process so good, and so clear, it was a lot easier!

- This is a tough course. I was so accustom to writing papers that already had a conclusion and all I had to do was research the story and report on it, the capstone is totally different the student must make a conclusion not report on what has been decided. Other than that I have had an awesome time. You made getting my degree fun.

Fun guy. He makes class enjoyable. I hate the ranking 'Easy A', because it makes it sound like he gave good grades away. He did make it easy to understand everything. The only complaint I had about the class was the lack of organized material. The Internet was our text book. Made it difficult at times to locate the information.

- While there was not the usual amount of studentprofessor interaction due to this being a Capstone course, Professor Dendauw made sure we understood what was expected from us and was very active via email.

- I had Stretch for multiple classes and he is by far one of the best. He is very straight forward in his teaching and does not waste your time with unnecessary "busy work" You have to work hard and put forth the effort but he will always make sure you succeed as long as the effort is there.

It was great that Prof. Dendauw held an eagle vision meeting with the class the first week. That was a huge help in figuring out how to do the proposal as well as the final project. Amazing. He gave us everything that we needed to successfully complete this course. The orientation set my mind at ease.

This was a challenging course that required a great deal of effort, but overall it was manageable and a great experience. I will also recommend professor Dendauw with this delivery method. The instructor would not provide timely feedback on questions. When I first started the course, I had an issue with loading the assignment and called the instructor. He said he doesn't know the system and told me to call a classmate. I had a problem on one assignment that he gave me a zero, so I asked questions for clarification.

Excellent instructor, would really like to take more of his classes.

Prof D was always on-top of his class and keeping up with assignments. Sometimes I would receive my grade early Monday afternoon, which is amazing considering it would take several days in some of my classes.

The instructor was terrific. They were completely understanding of personal and work-life issues in conjunction with scheduling nightmares, so that was extremely beneficial. Overall, the responses that the instructor gave to projects and discussions were quite thought provoking and made me consider different views and concepts.

Professor Dendauw did a great job of keeping the class engaged in the material, and was active in his announcements and messages. For me in particular, I had some personal issues in the middle of the course and he helped me stick with the class and was extremely flexible with my situation. If it were not for him and his assistance, big fail!

Great instructor! This is a tough course with very specific requirements. Professor Dendauw provided timely critique/feedback and was readily available for questions. In conclusion, I feel he's perfect to teach the Capstone!

Great instructor, very knowledgable. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful. Any other necessary feedback with the instructor was not of consequence and given directly to the professor.

Prof. Dendauw was the perfect person to teach this class. In order to pass this class you must spend about 15-20 hours a week. I suggest doing all your research one week and spend the remaining time writing. The total assignment was about 30 pages. If you write a 15 page assignment, don't expect to get a good grade.

This professor is more of a guide for the Capstone Course, ASCI490. This project is on you to complete, but he is always available for clarification and questions. Truly, though, this course is research you do and a paper you write. I appreciated his honesty, as his comments drove changes that made the outcome what it was.

Prof. Dendauw shared his experience with each module and posed interesting questions keeping the class conservation moving along and engaging Encouraged students to provide quality work. Gave helpful feedback for assignments and posed thought-provoking questions for discussions. I like the fact that you get involved in the discussion!

Dan did a great job communicating, critiquing, and giving me lots of help with my project. He did exactly what I thought he was meant to do, which was give feedback on the progress and content of my project which allowed me to correct my errors to help me receive a good grade and made the project educational for me.

The BEST professor that I've had throughout my journey at ERAU--an absolute pleasure to have him. I've never had one so active throughout the course, and was readily available anytime by phone throughout the week

Professor Dendauw is always readily available for his students. He encouraged me and ensured that I give my best to the college. I was definitely inspired by his teachings and guidance throughout the whole course

Professor Dendauw was an awesome instructor and made the Capstone enjoyable. This course is already very challenging and intimidating, Prof Dendauw's positive encouragement andenergy eased any anxiety I had about completing this. He also explained everything very well at the beginning of the course in his recorded brief.

Professor Dendauw was great throughout the course and provided video feedback along with comments for assignments. Although he was not very active in the discussion forums it did not seam to effect the class or grades. Start the research paper early, it is 25% of your grade. I wrote the abstract 3 times after his comments & ended up w/ a 100%.

ASCI491 was the capstone for my degree, and Professor Dendauw was very welcoming into this new course. He would happily take time to explain things to people who were not familiar with the capstone process (such as myself). He gave good feedback and encouraged participation throughout the course to ensure we did not get behind.

The professor seemed as if he was either teaching another class at the same time or distracted from our class. At times it felt as if everything was cut-and-paste replies or it was an AI was teaching it. When I questioned what I had done wrong the reply was mostly to look it up in the APA 7 Book and didn't give better direction or an example.

Professor Dendauw was great! I wish I would have gotten a little bit more on my research paper sections to see what I may need to fix to ensure the best grade I could. Other than that the class was great and I would recommend him to another student!
