Took CSC 100, 201, 202, and 206 with him. Great teacher, kinda hard but good if your transferring to real college. Usually 2-3 tests and 4 or 5 projects make up grade. He is leanient about turning in projects late.

Prof. Franssell is super helpful, super patient, and super nice. Even I, a professional programmer for the last 10 years, learned a thing or two (from the professor, not the book). He is very easy on homework deadlines (but don't delay!). I think I would have learned how to program in this class.

*Will* Stay with you after class to work on something. Lectures =boring. Mr Fransell had a few projects that required a bit more than introductory knowledge of the C++ language, and I thought I deserved an A in the class and came away with a B. After taking his class, I changed my major from Comp Scienc to something else...still have my doubts.

He's a good teacher, and definitely helpful, nice, and patient. His style is low-key, but if you're interested in CSC, he'll keep you interested. Would take again

It will take some outside effort like reading through the textbook. The assignments are relatively easy, and you are given lots of time in order to complete them. The professor will post lots of helpful review guides and practice test and quizzes that will very much prepare you for everything. The professor cares a lot about his students.
