I had him for two of my criminal justice class. He was always there when I need him. He lecure but he listen to you also talk. He even help me chhose most of class and the best teachers to take. Kearn is an awesome instructor, not boring-the subject matter is-and helpful with nonschool problems..Tells students what is on the quizzes and tests. Not as funny as Osowski, but he's not boring by any means. He LOVES when cell phones go off!! Alos, verrry Foxy!

First of all, I would like to say that I disagree with what that previous person said about Mr.Kearney being biased. He is in no way against the islamic religion. I myself am Muslim and wear a scarf. He has always been nothing but absolutely nice to me. He is very helpful as long as he sees that you are a hard working student.

I had him for 5 of my classes while attending HFCC and I absolutely loved him. He made everythign so understandable. Take good notes and you will do well on tests. Id have to say he is by far the BEST teacher i have ever had so far!! i love the way he explains himself in a understanding way and he always has time to help you out when you need it. He is very understanding when it comes to make up work but dont get me wrong, he will tell you off if he feels you are not taking the class seriously.

Funnest ever at HFCC I literally didn't want to miss a day of his class. He gives a study guide and sticks to that on the test, if you take good notes you don't need to buy the book. The hardest test is the 1st one its 4 questions essay style and that was still easy if you studied! Just don't get on his bad side and dont talk while he is!!!

He gives out study guides and tells you what to study- no surprises on the tests and/or quizzes. DEFINITELY take this class with him and you will pass.

Absolute great guy. He is very clear when going over text in the book and does not assign homework. Everything he tells you will be on the exam, is on the exam, word for word. It's hard to stay focused in his class because this man is INSANELY HOTT! He is fun to listen to and very interesting. He shares stories about his time as a police officer and i could listen to them for hours. He types out notes that are very helpful. Kearney has so much knowledge to give about criminal justice and he gives it to you straight.

Literally the best!! I never thought that I'd love his class this much. He's very funny, he cares about his students, his tests and quizes are very easy (he'll let you know what to study) and he's very knowledgeable when it comes to criminal justice. But he's strict about attendance and making it to class on time. I recommend you take him.

CRJ132 is a whole different class from CRJ131. A midterm exam and a final exam that is takehome. CRJ132 consists of no quizzes although you need to public speak in this class which counts as 30% of your grade. You also need to write a 5-7 page essay which counts for another 30% of your grade. Very heavy on curse words at some points, but still fun.

Best Professor ive had. He has been a police officer and a Lieutenant so he knows his stuff. He tells a bunch of funny stories of what hes experienced. Trust me you'll love his class. Barely any tests and he legit tells you the questions and answers to the test. DEFINITELY a class to take. No homework. Dont need book he give you all the notes.

I loved attending to Mr. Kearneys class, he makes boring material fun. Along with his funny stories back when he used to be a police officer, he is just overall a great professor. Its nice to have someone who takes the time to break stuff down for you, along with making it fun. I will miss him, it made my day to laugh at his jokes. He was great!

A straight gem. Very honest & upfront with grading criteria. Hands out notes before each chapter that has a simple outline and then goes into depth very clearly in his lecture. Very knowledgeable on what he teaches and seems to enjoy it. Wonderful about taking time out of his day to go around your schedule if needed. You don't need the book.

Dan is man. I'm majoring in CRJ and took his 131 class.. AWESOME. Taking his 132 class this Fall. Will pass for sure, he makes you want to learn more and more and more like in your spare time you just open the book and start reading, that's how fun he makes it!

Hands down, the best teacher I've ever taken in my entire college career. Insanely motivational and believes in his students. Theres no way for you to fail this class unless you just don't show up. Pay attention to his lectures and you will get an A. Very lenient at grading. Took him almost 5 years ago and I still keep in touch with him.

Mr. Kearney was hands down the greatest professor I have EVER had. Mr. Kearney is a truly amazing teacher! He truly cares about his students, while taking his work seriously. His lectures were wonderful,and he gave clear and concise understanding of what was to be learned and expected. Attendance was required to get a good grade and pass, but who wouldn't want to attend a class with such a good teacher!?

I took this class 100% online. He assigns one critical thinking question and one discussion board question each week, and those are your only assignments. You will need the book to help you answer these questions, but they're mostly opinion questions. No tests or quizzes other than midterm, final, and an extra credit quiz. Very easy and insightful.

And then he gives you a midterm in the final those are the only two tests throughout the course! So yes take him and all the answers can be found on Quizlet for the tests! This is literally the easiest class I've ever taken, it's easier than preschool. Each week he gives you a PowerPoint all you do is read it and go over it and then you do a discussion board and answer a question that is it. For the midterm, he gives you a test same for the final! You can find them all on Quizlet, it's an easy A. PLUS HE'S HOT!!! ;)

This class is super easy. Our weekly assignments were one chapter of reading, a short answer question, and a discussion post with the textbook "respond to a classmate by (insert date) for full points." Responds to emails quickly. This is the prof you want.
