Super nice guy. Tests were kind of confusing, but he wants you to do good in the class. LOTS of material to learn.

He is extremely easy. You have 6 quizes every other week. 20 map id questions and 10 mulitple choice. he gives the study guide to the quizes. he drops the lowest quiz. One Mid term which he gives you the study guide. you have one group project on powere point and gives you a stright up 100 if you show up. People take him so easy. you get an A

Great guy, and a really interesting teacher. His lectures are straight from his powerpoints, and he gives really comprehensive study guides for the 2 big tests (mid-term and final.) There is one group project with a guaranteed A. Take him if you get the chance!

Fabulous prof! I highly recommend him. He makes learning geography interesting, and he doesn't give "gotcha" tests.

The *only* difficult or objectionable thing about this class is how the midterm and the final make up an overwhelming majority of your grade.

What a cool guy. Has all sorts of stories from the past, very funny. SUPER EASY!! 6 easy map quizzes, 2 tests (for which the study guides are question for question the test), all notes online. So easy you really only need to show up for tests and quizzes, but he is just too interesting to skip the class.

IF YOU WANT AN A TAKE THIS CLASS

Cool old guy with a lot of fun stories. His voice is a kind of soothing and sedative, so I'd recommend some coffee for class if you're prone to dozing off. He's a learned fellow with a lot to say about his subject and life in general. The tests are pretty much a breeze, just make sure you study. Highly recommended.

Comes off as an easy going hippie type, but I've seen this guy talk down to students, and make examples of students personal issues and ability. He talks about himself way too much, the class is nothing but Power Points. I can't stand this guy, but anyone looking for an easy grade will probably like him. In my opinion he is a 2nd rate jerk.

i loved this teacher. i cant believe someone would say he was terrible. he makes the class easy to do well it. so it probably annoys him when people have issues. he does tell stories, but that is what keeps class interesting. yes he is a high school teacher by day but what night teacher isn't!? how rude to say that makes him less qualified!

So many great stories. He has been all over the world and seen many cool things. i would say he is more than qualified to be teaching this class. if you put in no effort and still expect an A dont count on him to pitty you. its an easy class, he doesnt want to baby people through it.

Interesting class, I had no desire to learn anything in this class until I heard his lectures. He is fair and makes it intereting. Mandatory attendance is not required but I never wanted to miss his class. Read what you are suppose to and study for the map test and you should do well!

Mr. Page was by far the most interesting professor I have ever had. I honestly was motivated to go to class just to hear him talk. This guy has done so much with his life and has hundreds of stories to tell. His class is very easy too, and should be an easy A. I strongly recommend taking Mr. Page!

I hate Geography but had to take it- I'm glad I got put with Mr. Page. The class is relatively easy; he tries to make it where you're not getting an easy A, but there's no reason you should fail his class! Funny and interesting, didn't want to miss a day!

He is a very nice teacher and understands that it is an 1101 class. He does not make the content too hard but you do have to study a little for the mid term and final if you are going to pass the class with a good grade. He is very nice and has cool stories to keep the class interesting.

Dan Page is a very helpful if you ever have questions. He is mainly a high school teacher so he uses methods that may seem elementary. This only makes the class easier than it already is. He tells many stories (not sure if they are all true), but he never fails to make the class fun. I highly recommend everyone to take him at least once.

Hilarious professor. Makes the class interesting with his stories. Two major tests (midterm and final) with essays and various map quizzes. Everything is based on his power points, so attending class is a must, even though it isn't mandatory.

AWESOME professor!!!! There are various map quizzes 6 to be exact along with an online quiz. His lectures are very entertaining and interesting. He knows geography very very well! He has also been on trips that you will see in the ppts. take the class it is so fun and one EASY group project!

He is a very interesting guy. I did not attend every class, but the ones I did attend were interesting. He makes the powerpoints interesting with the many side notes and stories he tells. No unit test. Just a mid term and final. I never used the book and had below average attendence and still came out with a B.

Enjoyed his class a LOT! Mr. Page makes the topic interesting and relatable. His stories are funny, albeit sometimes off topic. Midterm and a final, 2-4 quizzes, and a paper. Easy class, just come to class because he sometimes calls on random people to answer a question for participation points! Loved his class.

Definitely take this class. 6 easy online quizes combined with in class map quizes but he drops your lowest quiz grade. Midterm is huge portion of grade but if you look over the study guide you're golden, group project is automatic A. class is him reading off powerpoints and is SO boring but attendance isn't mandatory, overall take this class!

The best teacher to have.Gives you 6 on-line quizzes and maps test are done in class. He really wants you to do well and he has a great sense of humor. Now the class is kind of boring but he shares his stories on when he traveled. Take the class you wont regret it.

This class is so easy. Don't buy the textbook, only the atlas and you will be fine. Just do the study guide for the midterm and study for the map quizzes and you will make an A. Half the class doesn't show up anymore and I'm pretty sure everyone's rocking an A or B

He is a really cool dude. Kind of looks like Hershel from the Walking Dead, I think he is cute, although he is older. He is a very smart and educated man. I enjoy his class because he always incorporates a personal story which keeps it intersting. Easy class. Easy A. 2 tests and the rest quizes. TAKE HIM

He is a great professor, love to hear his stories. His map quizzes are very easy if you study and I would definitely take him again if I could.

He's a High School teacher and the class is set up that way. Short map quizzes in class are easy if you study. Mid Term, Final (both w/ reviews), & an EASY group project EVERYONE makes an A on. Atlas mandatory for tests as portions are open book (atlas). Easy A with effort. No attendance.

One presentation (can do it solo or with a partner) that was very easy. Test every 2 weeks, but he gives a study guide of exactly what you need to know. Same for the final. Overall, I enjoyed going to his class and listening to his random stories. Funny Professor! Study the guides and you'll get an A. Dont buy the textbook

This man is awesome. Take his class on Monday and Wednesday night because he will let you out early on monday so he can watch Monday night football. The class was easy. 6 quizzes, 20 map questions study the map he adds to d2l and 10 multiple choice online at home. a midterm with an essay, map and multiple choice and a final without the essay. He gives study guides and makes it easy for you to pass.

There are 6 mini geography quizzes. study the map that he gives you and you'll make a hundred. All online quizzes can be found online. Very easy class definitely take him. Doesn't really take attendance I only went on quiz and test days.

He was a pretty soft spoken professor and would sometimes be hard to hear in a class of 90. Class would be set up as him just reading from a powerpoint and giving personal examples if he had been to the country or not, so not exactly too important for the tests. Tests would be both map quiz in class and multiple choice questions online.

Hes pretty good. The lectures are kind of pointless, but you gotta show up not only for quiz and test days but the class after the quiz (takes attendance) and whenever theres a presentation. Other than that you can skip and still pass, though its best not to. He tells really interesting stories about his travels but otherwise lectures are boring.

Nice guy who has interesting stories. Tests are hard, but he is clear about what will be on them. Only 2 tests that are 75% of your grade and I made Cs on both. I studied but used the Internet instead of the slides and my book, which was a mistake. DON'T trust the study guide answers online. Presentation is easy and quizzes are pure memorization.

Took this class because I needed a GPA boost & this class was perfect. He will tell you he is a highschool teacher as well as college professor so this class is basically a highschool level GEO class. Super easy. Map quizzes every chapter, 2 tests, a final, & a group project. Would definitely take again

He's so easy. He doesn't give homework or anything only like 4 or 5 tests. The test are easy. just study and take great notes. The test are online ! you only have 60 mins so make sure you study good so you atlas know most of the answers before trying to look through the text book.

Geography with him was simple and easy. No homework, really, and no quizzes, just 4 tests as the grades. Tests were all online and easy if you knew the material. Glad I took this class, made my stressful first semester of college slightly less stressful. Long lectures, though.

Only like 4 tests in the class. I honestly showed up like 3 times during the semester. The ones I did he was a pretty cool guy. Just a boring subject, test were easy. Lowest I made was an 82, then 98+ after I figured out as someone stated "EXTRA RESOURCES" helped immensely. EASY A.

He is a great professor and a really passionate lecturer of geography, however I found his class extremely difficult. You have to read the chapters or you won't pass the exams. This might unfortunately be my first C, therefore I will not be taking him again

He creates lecture guides, but his lecture doesn't follow the guide.

For a first time at teaching such a large lecture group he was AMAZING! You really should get the textbook. Four test, each covering the previous chapters covered during that lecture period, half of the test question do come from the chapters. Professor Page is fair and understanding he makes himself available for help. He LOVES geography!!

Easiest class I've ever taken! I was in a large class so he gave his tests online. 4 tests, no quizzes, no homework, no attendance. I went to class about 5 times and got an A+. TAKE HIM (p.s. I bought the book and never took it out of the box)

I'm in love with Daniel Page. 10/10 recommend a man like this. Loves to re-tell stories but they get better every time. Has a bomb goatee and also had a pony tail in the 80s.

I liked Professor Page, I just did not like his grading scale. Graded on 4 tests and attendance/participation. Participation is graded based off questions asked in class and if you miss the question, you don't get the points, which can really take a toll on your grade. Wish he had more assignments to balance your grade.

Great professor! Very interesting lectures and makes a morning class worth it. He is also very kind and caring. I did not need to purchase a textbook because I found it online, only thing you need to purchase is the Reef app which is only $15. Would totally recommend taking him!

This class was very easy. I almost missed half of the class and failed only one test badly. The test are very easy and are online. I never used the book. I could get an A easy, but i was slacking. I still pass. He gives you plenty of times to take the online test. TAKE HIM, YOU WILL NOT REGRET.

This professor gives online test that he encourages you to use the book and notes on. There are only the grades for tests and participation, in which he uses an I-clicker to do. He asks questions based on the videos on Mastering Geography. Would take again and show up more. The attendance is what skewed my grade.

If you can take this class, do it. You get points for showing up so you'll have to go but taking notes or paying any sort of attention is pointless. Theres no homework or classwork just online test (quizlet) ;). Great guy, highly recommend.

He seems to care about his students. Made us take iClicker quizzes every class which was very annoying. However all of his tests are online so its very easy to use your notes and get an A.

Only four exams, all online. I-Response questions three times a class, every class. Questions are based off of the mastering videos. Easy class, never studied.

Good professor, the class can get boring, but overall Professor Page knows his stuff and he makes quite a few jokes during class. Not many things to be graded by. We had a group presentation, which is graded by the class, analysis paper, midterm, final, and questions/attendance that we answered during the power point.

Professor Page is a great professor. He has so many cool stories that he mentions throughout the semester. There is a group project that the lowest grade you can get is a 90 and then there are a few tests and 1 paper. MAKE SURE YOUR PHONES ARE ON SILENT! If your phone goes off, he will make you dance in front of the whole class LOL.

He gives a one paragraph essay as extra credit before every test. Easy A. Tests are online. Gives 3 questions through iClicker remote every day as a grade, but attendance isn't mandatory. No homework.

The course consists of four tests and they are all online. He gives amazing lectures and always answers your questions when asked. However, attendance is a grade! You have to purchase the iclicker and answer four questions a day as part of your grade. He also offers an extra grade assignment to help add up to 30 points on your grade.

lecture heavy. outlined the chapters online, and uses a powerpoint everyday, not miserable because he is funny. Attendance isnt mandatory but he requires and iclicker to answer q's on the board with, attendance is taken with those and counted towards grade. your phone makes noise then you dance. tests online and not monitored:))))))).

4 exams taken online with lockdown browser, no monitor. You'll need to purchase an Iclicker (I don't recommend the app) for daily participation credit. Exams were simple and based on textbook material. Extra credit essay opportunity, but it was really not necessary. Fill out chapter outlines and read the textbook for an A.

Professor Page made his lectures fun and his class easy. He understood that level that his class was and that the majority of students are taking it for a gen ed credit. He made it clear that he was not there to fail us but just teach and help us out. We had 5 graded assignments. One was extra credit it was optional. The others were test.

His lectures are the best part about the class. He makes what he talks about interesting and he gives really good life advice. He is very clear about his guidelines and you earn the grade you get. All assignments were online and fairly simple. There was one research paper that wasn't too bad. Loved going to class everyday to listen to him.

His class is easy, but his lectures can be boring. As an older teacher, he has a lot of knowledge and fun stories to tell you. Make sure to read the textbook, do the online homework, and use his note outlines and review guides.

Dr. Page is the absolute best! He makes his class super interesting and gives tons of opportunities for extra credit from day one. Around 4 tests, 4 discussion posts, and weekly homework. He's always available outside of class and willing to help anyone! Can't recommend enough.

This class was fairly easy, the workload wasn't too much. Grades fairly. Would definitely recommend.

Very easy class, just do the homework and you'll be fine. His lectures can be a boring at times but he's super nice once you get to know him. Try to make conversation with him before class and he'll be very willing to help you if needed. Do the study guide with the text book because the powerpoints are missing info.

He is the best professor I've taken. Plenty of extra credit and his hybrid day just consisted of logging on to a page and watching a video. There is an online assignment due every Friday, but it takes only 15 mins. The tests will be easy if you just pay attention during the lectures. He even gave 5 points to everyone who was present the last day.

He did help me so much with this class. I have dealt with some bad health issues including endometriosis and nutritional deficiencies and my dog died this semester. He went out of his way to help me when he didn't have to. The class is lecture heavy but they help the tests. Also assignment due on Fridays and attendance is mandatory. 10/10 professor
