very approachable, tests are fair and stick to lechtures and reading
Thought he was fun and clear in bus. law class, but would not take him again for accouting, a little dry and unclear what he will test on.
lectures can be boring, just take time to skim thorugh book, not hard to pass though
No Comments
very good , helpful , fun , clear . some homework but just a little. tests are straight forward
Really nice guy, but is unclear on what's on the tests. If you read the book and study, you'll be ok.
His lectures are really good and gives homeworks. Exams are from the textbook, so we will be fine if we go through it.
good teacher
His way of teaching doesn't suit me very much, I often fell asleep in his class....But he curve though....
The best teacher!
I THOUGHT I HAD A C IN HIS CLASS UNTIL HE BUSTED OUT SOME HARD CORE WORTH A LOT OF POINTS EXTRA CREDIT. HE PROBABLY MAKES BUSINESS LAW AS INTERESTING AS IT CAN BE AND HE HAS HELLA GOOD STORIES.
Very good instructor, but is a little boring in ACCT.
He knows what he is teaching. Exams are based on his lectures and textbook. It's easy to follow him if you have a little reading before class.
really good teacher. knows what his talking about!
This teacher is good and he knows what he is talking about. He makes it as interesting as he can and always gives guessing scenarios or cases for you to think about. Make sure to listen to lectures because it will be on his tests.
he's great. one of the best teachers i have had at de anza.
I hated his class. Very boring. Very unhelpful. Find another teacher to take Bus. Law!! He is very arrogant.
he is rude and boring! dont take him
He is okay. However, the test are hard even though is multiple choice. It does take some luck to work it out.
very good teacher and very helpful.
Knows what he's teaching. Funny. Lectures are fun. Uses many real-life experiences when explaining. Tests are quite hard though, but he offered several extra credit assignments which are very helpful.
He is great. One of the best teachers I have had at De Anza. Lectures are interesting and enjoyable.
very easy class, probably just cuz accounting in general is easy. he is a very good teacher.
He's really cool and keeps you interested in his class by giving you real-life scenarios and making his class fun. I really enjoyed having him as a teacher!

his class is fun, you won't fall into sleep(especially when he talks about uncle Fred..).Not really a hard class, but I'm not good in law, so...somehow hard for me, but has nothing to do with the teacher!
His lectures are very slow and boring but he is a good teacher. He really knows his stuff and can help a lot if asked. The class isn't all that interesting but if you prefere to work more by yourself and want a good grade then take him.
acct. 1a was boring, but salah is a really good teacher. he assigns just the right amount of work, and i retained a lot of what i learned from him. i highly recommend him.
He is a wonderful teacher.I took his accounting class. He is really very good in teaching accounts. His teaaching is good, understandable and very interesting. He comes to class on time, good planning onhis class materials. He uses the time more efficiently.
He is an adorable teacher. He makes the subject easy, interesting and understandable. You don't haveto read the book ifyou attend hisclass daily and listen tohis lecture.I wish he could take acct1B&1C classes.Whateverheteaches, youcan never forgetinyourlife
this guy is great! very clear lectures, easy tests. you get to know all about his family (especially uncle fred!). i definitely recommend him!
Dan makes the subject of law as interesting as it can be by telling great stories and using helpful examples that correspond with the class concepts. He is one of the best professors I have had at De Anza, if not THE best. Take his class!
he may seem like he is a cool teacher but beware he gives difficult online quizzes due ever monday. he does not teach! he thinks this class is entertainment and when it comes to the test u know nothing because he never taught all he does is tell stories
mr. salah is an awesome teacher. he makes a boring subject enjoyable. his stories are hilarious while still relating to the topics he's talking about. you'll love his stories about uncle fred. he's one of the best teachers at de anza! take his class! you won't regret it!
He's is an awesome professor with a personality that fills a room. He makes bus law fun and relatable. Attendance is taken everyday. There are online quizzes due at the beginning of every week. Easy group project due at the end of the term. 3 midterms, the lowest grade is dropped, and a final.
Dan is one of the best teachers in Deanza college. His class is very interesting and if u attend in his class you learn too much and you can easily pass this course.
wow one of the best teachers that you can ever take, his stories are funny, he give extra credit, and his tests arent too bad if u just show up to class and listen. i didnt read the book and failed almost every online guiz but i got an A in the class! he curves the whole class! trust mee take him!
Awesome teacher - He uses his jokes to bring us closer to the topics. I think he is cute, one of the BEST BEST at De Anza. Trust me , take him , he is not so tough in grading !!!
Salah DOES NOT prepare students for his tests. His lectures are like going to a comedic club. Yes they may be funny, however they're IRREVELANT to his course. Passing the course requires reading lengthy chapters in a book that has confusing layouts. Book costs 60bucks used.
Take him! His stories are great! He gives example for everything he teaches so you understand it better. I actually looked forward to attending his class. The weekly online quizes aren't that bad. Tests are fair.
Great teacher. He explains things well and love the stories, especially his slezy Uncle Fred.
Nice guy, interesting class but, too many online quizzes. It’s almost like a web online class and you must attend all classes as well because, attendance is taken.
not recommened to Int'student...
To pass the class with a B or better, you only need to read the thin book,GOUGH GUIDE TO BUSINESS LAW. The large thick book is only a ruse to make you believe that the class is harder than it is.
um...for me(international student) was hard, especially 50 mul choice questions had to finish in 50 mins...I studied really hrad...but he is kind(I think), even though I didn't do very good on my three midterms and final, he still gave me a C...I pass it....
This is a fun class and all. No real homework or reading except online quizzes... don't buy book with this teacher unless you want to waste $$$. He just talks and talks and gives examples so that we can figure things out instead of him... I did get an intro to Bus Law but i didn't really learn as much as i hoped... easy B... not easy A i'd say :)
Expect a lot of work from this professor. His class is all about hard work. Mid-terms are tricky and gradings are on a curve. An A is hard to get, I merely got an A.
Great teacher. I understand he's normally business, but if you can catch this guy for accounting you're in luck. He'll guide you through the jungle of Debits and Credits like a Boy Scout. 5 out of 7 homework is a 100%, so lots of room for errors there. Just make sure your group presentation is done on time (beware of slackers). Can't go wrong with Dan, I highly recommend.
I took this class over the summer and it was online business math class. It was a good class. I learned a lot. He was very helpful considering the fact it was online. Things are very clear. It had 22 quizzes each 10 points, and a final exam. You can pretty much get all the answers in the book. Easy A! :)
One of the best teacher in De Anza. I highly recommend him. Grades are based on curve , and his exams are very tricky. If u want to do well in his class, pay attention on his lectures
one of the best accounting teachers, only thing is he is normally a bussiness teacher so you can only take him for 1A
Salah is a great business law teacher. His personal stories make remembering the lectures a lot easier. The text book is very helpful, too. If you don't show up to class, reading the text will still get you a good grade on the exams After you pass the class, I suggest keeping the text book instead of selling. It may come in handy in the futu
Whoever said International Students should not take this class is wrong. I'm an international studnt and I either failed or got borderline passes on his online quiz. I didnt do weel at the group presentation too. Exams were around B. I still managed to scrape an A. He was so good and interesting.
he is so funny and talk about his uncle and wife ... he teacher good and he make us to understand they he move to other things.. his finals are his examples and easy one... i m getting A in his class .. i think u guys will have him and enjoy the class..
Very cool guy, awesome teacher, and a fun class. He is interesting and fun, and he makes it very easy for students to contribute/ ask questions in class. Do the homework because they will really help you on the exam!
this is an interesting class.he gives funny examples to help you remember concepts.he grades on a curve so no need to worry 'bout the grades.one group project at the end of the quarter.just a presentation on a case.
if dan was single, i'd date him. very straight forward test. not many quizzes. the homework assignments (interpretation of the law) are difficult and definitely a pain. attend class and you'll at least get a C. the comment about generous curve is true (unless you have some brainiacs in the class). highly recommended.
his lecture is awesome. 2 hours 30 mins goes very fast..3 tests(lowest one drop)+comprehensive final. Test is not that hard but you need to spend a bit time to read lecture slides. weekly homework is doable, one group presentation and GENEROUS CURVE!! i did't get well on tests, but ended with B
great teacher. he puts lecture notes online so u can review before the test. the guy really cares about his students.
Easy class but very informative.I also liked the side comments on how to deal with situations in a practical legal way.He tells helpful stories/experiences that will make you remember concepts.I suggest he teach in the evening because he'd be effective for adult students. It would also be interesting to know details about his own business in class.
Take him!!! He is one of the best teachers I have had since I first started attending De Anza. His lectures are very clear and concise and he gives plenty of examples from real life situations. He deserves the teacher of the month award.
online course very easy. reading chapters are very long though and that sucks but otherwise a good class and nice teacher
Incredible! Attentive to students needs; Interesting and informative; Tests well; Reasonable expectations of students. Grades on a generous curve. Don’t miss class, stay awake, participate, and you’ll do well.
I really recommend this teacher if you think accounting is hard. He teaches well and clear about what he's talking about. Always give you review before test. He's funny and care for students. Excellent lecture!
He is a really good guy. Teaches excellently. I was getting an A in the class but I don't know why he gave me B- after finals.
Dan is a great teacher. I really enjoyed his class. The classes are not a "gimme," but Dan will keep you engaged and entertained. He has a great positive attitude, and I would take his classes again in a heartbeat. I took him for business law and acct 1a concurrently and did not regret it. He smiles a lot, and grades assignments quickly.
Dan isa very interesting teacher. He is very engaging and has lots of great stories to go along with his lectures. He will always answer questions you have. The course material is by no stretch easy but he does a good job explaining and grades on a curve. Definitely recommended for Biz Law, great useful class.
Interesting and funny teacher. Wish he had more discussions though!
Dan is an excellent instructor.
Dan strikes the balance between making a class entertaining while staying on point. His stories are very funny and at the same time, greatly helped me understand concepts. My calculated grade in this course including the final was 85%. His curve added another 16% making an easy A. I did study for every exam though. I Highly Recommend taking Dan.
Loved him! Probably my favorite teacher ever at De Anza! He's got great stories that tie in to the class and he's a really engaging public speaker/lecturer. I would go out of my way big time to take him. I studied and did all the reading and homework and got my first A+!!
Dan is an AWESOME instructor. He is very organized and reliable. He sticks to the syllabus and tells the best stories to get his points across. You know what to expect from him, no guessing games. I did the reading and got an "A" in the class..Oh...And he is very easy on the eyes...
Great teacher. Wish he taught Acc 1B as well
Dan is a great teacher. he can catch all the students' attention, you never lost your mind in the class. I am very enjoy the class.
Great teacher! Very patient and nice. His class is filled with fun. You will learn a lot from his class. Explaination is quite clear.
An awesome teacher who is precise and concise. Lets out early if the material for the day is covered. His lectures are extremely clear. Also tells you what to study for the exams. I never did the readings but just listened to his lectures and did the homework and got an A!
awesome teacher I have ever had. I love this guy. He's so funny and helpful. Should take Bus 18 (law) with him, u will be fine
Just took him for bus18 and was the coolest teacher I ever took. He is extremely funny and brings humor into his lectures. Although the class material can get confusing and hard, he doesn't make it seem that hard. Also, I my highest grade in the midterms was 82% (the other was 75%), yet I ended up with an A- because of his extremely generous curve!
He is the best teacher ever. His stories make accounting hilarious and he is very organized and straight forward about all his exams and homework. Three midterms and drops lowest one. Lots of nice extra credit. He truly made accounting 100 times more interesting with all his stories and real life experiences. MUST TAKE HIM
Great teacher. Very generous and nice. The material is tough to digest and exams aren't easy, but he curves the class significantly and I ended up with a B+.
Attendance not mandatory. Answers are pulled straight from the book. Class is straight-forward and Dan tells the class exactly what he wants. He is a fantastic teacher and keeps the class interesting with his personal stories and experiences. I had a lot of fun in his class, highly recommend!
Took this class online, and it was a breeeze, he doesn't count the lowest of three midterm scores, and his curve is the most generous I've experienced.. awesome and helpful teacher who always clarifies if you have questions.. would recommend to anyone !
His test is extremely hard. There are lots of tricky questions. I have no idea why other say it is a easy class. The average score is 62 out of 100 and the higest score is 90. In other words, the average score is fail. The powerpoint is not useful. The test only have a few questions that relate to the PPT. Dont take his class.
It was his first year teaching ACCT 1B after several years. He normally teaches business courses and 1A. His tests are pretty difficult. He drops 1 of 3 lowest midterms. For his midterms you really need to study the text and understand each term that is BOLDED. Final is CUMULATIVE which is very difficult because it's so hard to retain everything.
Dan Salah is very friendly and approachable, and explains things in a reasonably clear manner. However, I disagree with the heavy use of multiple-choice/True-False questions used in all of the exams and quizzes. Often the wording is a little ambiguous. The written parts were too easy. I do not feel the tests were a good test of actual knowledge.
Awesome prof, prob one of my fav in De Anza. Clear lectures and easy exams.3 words, MUST TAKE HIM!But i kinda agree to the comment below,he is ridiculously easy sometimes. I had alot of fun anyway, too bad he doesn't teach acct 1C :(
Even though his class was pretty easy, I would avoid this guy. He accused me of cheating--said I must have gotten access to the instructors' soln manual and copied an essay I had written. When I challenged his accusation he then quickly backpedaled and didn't even offer an apology. I don't like people who shoot first and ask questions later.
I took his online business law class. Weekly assignments require textbook. Online exams are not easy and require studying/preparing. Final exam was in person, and one day after an online exam. Final required studying. Class graded on a curve, I ended up with an A. Also, Professor responds to emails very quickly.
I'm taking Intro to Entrepreneurship online, and ugh, the wording on the quiz activities and tests can be really unclear. There were several times when I knew the answer but didn't understand the question, but since it's online you can't just ask for clarification while you're taking the test like you would be able to in a physical classroom.
Online Entrepreneurship class. Very straightforward, easy weekly discussion questions that pertain to the text book. midterm and final were 40 questions with 40 minute time limit. It was easy if you know your way around the textbook. Professor responds very quickly to email. Also, I think I learned a couple things from this class.
online class, but not as bad as i thought it would be. everything is straightforward and organized, easy to understand, i learned a lot, as well.
I had Mr. Salah's online class for Bus Law and he is so helpful!! I had a hard time understanding some of the legal terms but he always answered my questions and would just encourage me to keep trying. You have to read your book to answer the assignments and quizzes and if you apple yourself you should do good. Thanks Mr. Salah!
he is the best Accounting teacher I've ever met. I got an A for accounting 1B.
He was a nice teacher, but everything in class was hard, lecture, the quizzes and tests extremely difficult... I got A in other classes in same Qtr and end up a C in this class only :( if you want to learn more and get higher grade try another instructors
He's a very nice teacher, if you want a fun lecture and strong basic for accounting I totally recommend him. You'll never get bored in his class, he always tell funny experiences related to the lecture. His tests are not so easy though; online homework, attend his class, and study hard = positive A
He is a fair instructor if you work hard! Extra-credit opportunities available! The final is much easier and straight forward than three online mid-term exams!
I took Salah online for introduction to entrepreneurship and it was great. He is helpful, nice and straightforward. It's kind of like you do the work or you don't. Midterm and final are easy if you go over the chapter summaries, slides and quizzes before you take the test. I got the highest score in the class for the midterm. Definitely recommend.
this teacher is awesome. I could understand what accounting 1A is all about because of him.. to have a good basic in acct 1a dan salah is a good choice... he has a hard multiple choice questions but all the short answer question is very easy. His clarity in explaining the subject is very good and we could easily understand what the chapter is about
For a student who never learn accounting like me could received an A! and I believe you can too! He is very clear and passionate in teaching and he likes to tell his experience based on the topic we're learning, and he also like to tell jokes or make fun of people (in an offensive way). Definitely take 1B with him (if there any)
Great professor! Have taken 2 classes with him and hope to take more. I took both classes online and they were easy and straightforward. You do have to put in the effort. Midterms can be a bit hard but other than that he is great! Would recommend taking him with out a doubt! Got an A+ in both his classes!
Why does this professor have high rating? He is a terrible professor, his lectures suck. He will start telling stories that give the class no help on the topic he's trying to cover. He is a professor that cares about 1%. If you have a 89% you will most likely not get a 90%. Very picky grader and has favorites. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Read all the reviews about him and was looking forward to learning about business law and then turns out he is the worst teacher I have had. Definitely would not recommend. He is teaching a class that is incredibly hard and is not making it any clearer.
this professor is real gentle and know how to teach students. Not a easy class, especially, to international students.. but he give lots of extra credit, so helpful~ He is NICE !!!!
Very straightforward presentation for the class: reviews textbook sections and provides example problems and personal experience to better understand concepts. Reading the chapters ahead of time helps with his style of teaching. 3 exams, a final, and online HW (easy, 1 each week). Exams mix of MC and written answers. Gives review before each exam.
He is the best !!! Absolutely love his class
He is the Best Professor of De Anza. I highly recommend you take his classes for accounting and Business law. He cares for his students. He is so knowledgeable, great teaching skills and so helpful and kind. He makes hard topics so easy for you. I got A+.
Great proffessor!!! He's very clear on his lectures, he's very passionate about his teaching, always look happy, his tests are pretty fair they are not easy but it if you pay attention to his lectures then it's not a problem, and once awhile he would tell us interesting stories relating to the business he used to own. Definnitely recommened!
He tells great stories that are related to class. Attend class everyday (It's part of your grade), do your homework, and take some time to study and I'm sure you do well. The exams are pretty difficult though.
He's a very passionate teacher, I'm trying to take all his classes. He's got fun stories and accounting is easy. Attendance is graded and homework is 100% if you do it. You only need to get B's on the exams to get an A.
he is an amazing teacher, always makes it easy for students to understand the lecture by giving lots of examples. he is always there to answer questions. he is fun and his classes are not boring. i wish he taught acct B so I could take his class again and again. you never want to miss any class because he truly teaches everything you need to know.
One of my favorite classes, learned a lot! The test are kind of difficult though but he grades on a curve so that helps. Be prepared to study but he is an amazing lecturer. I actually looked forward to his classes. FYI you have to buy the book for homework assignments.
He was an awesome teacher! He always has great entertaining stories that tie into the subject and help you remember it later. I found his tests to be a little tricky in the way they were worded, but if you pay attention in class - You'll get it!!
Awesome guy & professor. Helps when you need it, and is very specific and good at explaining.
Professor Salah's humorous delivery of the course material is characterized by numerous anecdotes and examples. However, there is a strong disconnect between the way he prepares his students for exams (i.e. assignments, lectures, assigned readings) and the exams themselves which can be both hard to understand and misleading.
Great teacher, he is pretty funny and takes the time to make his lectures enjoyable. Do your homework, show up to class, and study for the tests and you'll do fine,
Lots of reading. Quizzes and tests are based on the reading and asks a lot of detailed questions. He does offer a few extra credit assignments. He grades on a curve which is a huge help. There are 3 midterms open book, but drops the lowest grade. The final is on-campus and mandatory. No notes or textbook for the final.
A lot of reading but that's expected since its bus law and a online class. What to expect: reading textbook, hw, quiz, and midterm are all online. Final is taken on campus. The way I handled this class is that I typed notes for every chapter I read so I wouldn't forget some material. Don't fall behind in the reading, Final is comprehensive.
Homework & a quiz every week, quiz every week is only 5 questions and is easy. The homework takes a while because you actually need to read the chapter the answer it. Not too much work for an online class. The final is in person and if you don't pass the final then you don't pass the class. Final is closed notesbook, it is really difficult, STUDY!
One of my favorite professors in De Anza. He makes his lectures very interesting and relates a lot of his information to real-life situations. I took him for 1A and 1B. If he was teaching 1C, I would have definitely taken him again.
OMG cool teacher. He is a wealth of experience and explains Acct with REAL, interesting examples that are memorable, rather than the dumb boring textbook examples! IDK if he teaches at De Anza anymore though, but if he teaches again, take him!!
This professor is amazing. He makes the class very interesting and fun. i will definitely take his class again for actg 1B.
This was was fairly easy as long as you do the reading and homework every week. Mr. Salah gives you feedback on all the assignments and if you have any questions he replies to emails quickly. Final is commutative and you must pass the final to pass the class. The final is in person and on campus.
Really great teacher, knows his stuff. Have to buy textbook and access code and then all the work in online, including the final. Which is good and bad, online homework can be confusing. Highest grade in the class sets the curve. Fairly easy A, just do all your work.
Easiest class ever. You just complete assignments that take about 30 minutes a week. Do the assignments with some effort, and do the extra credit and you will only need a 70% on exams to pass. For exams the book doesn't come with an index, so make your own (know the "term" along with a page number). Just know where to locate things during exams.
This was by far the favorite class I took and Dan is an amazing professor. Recommend 101%. He has a lot of real world examples to share, which makes grasping the concepts really easy. Homework is online and simple. Tip: get a buddy to share hw with; cengage has an audio book. Points for attendance and the classes are fun & engaging! Lots of EC!
Dan is a really wonderful guy. Show up and do all the homeworks and you will pass. He will even help you when you have a problem
Danny is a decent instructor. Took him a couple winters back. Does a great job on explaining the RICO laws and all the business ethics that organizations can do. As well as the relevance in the Digital Age. Tests are really ambiguous though.
Took him this summer for Business Law. If you see him open, register ASAP ASAP ASAP ASAP ASAP! One of the easiest A's I have ever received in my life. Great teacher who cares about his students, and also wants to see them succeed! You will never regret taking this class - believe me!
If you want to learn Accounting then Prof Dan class is good for you. If you are looking for easy A, then its not a good choice. Attending classes are not mandatory but he deduct points for the missed classes, and also the in-class work that you may miss. So, to get good grade, attend all his class, do all his assignment and you are good to go.
I took Acct 1A, 1B, 1C (Managerial), and now I am taking his Bus Law class. There is a reason I specifically look for his name when registering for classes. He is organized and clear with his schedules and grading. You know when every assignment is due and when every test is scheduled from day one, so it is easy to plan ahead. He is excellent.
Do NOT fall behind in the class! Business law is generally not a difficult class, but it requires quite a bit of memorization and understanding. If you put in the effort, you will be rewarded for it. The final exam is comprehensive, and if you ask him for a study guide he will give it. Make sure to cover all that he puts on it ok!
Love the professor, love the subject, but sometimes questions felt like they were asked ambiguously on purpose. If you get an answer wrong, but feel strongly that you were right, be sure to bring it to his attention. If you're correct, he will resolve the issue.
Lectures were filled with info and lots of real world examples. There is a lot of reading but it is all available before the class starts so if you get a head start it's easy. His homework website is just basically weekly quizzes which you can google the answers for if you don't know them. I would say its like 2.5 difficulty.
The class was about personal finances. The amount you learn is based on the effort you put in. I appreciated the structure of the course, the clear expectations, and the simplicity in achieving my personal educational goals. I would take Professor Salah again if I needed a class he taught for credit.
This professor only grades on the final and your points received on the homework website. He gives no quizzes or tests, just one Exam. I felt like I did not have much time to take the final exam even though it was open note. I wish he gave more assignments or extra credit to help boost my grade. Would not recommend if you're expecting an easy A.
Took for Bus18, BUSILAW1. Graded by few things & very tough grader. Had tragic family business so I missed an assignm. Explained what happened & he wouldn't give an extension b/c he can't "verify" it actually happened. Not an easy A. Have A's in all classes this quarter except this one. Put time & effort in this class & still received a bad grade.
He is a great teacher, The exams are open for a one-week period and you are timed as soon as you open them. The exams take a little under 2 hours to complete but you are given a whole week to plan aside when to take the exam. As long as you do your work a couple of days before it is due as a buffer, you should be fine.
Grades on just online MC HW, few writing assignments, and a Final Exam. Grades real tough, no one is getting 100% on any assignments other than online HW. Doesn't give any beneficial feedback that helps you actually LEARN. Teaching should be more than negative comments without the student actually learning, but that's with he does. Don't recommend.
He is a great teacher, he responds to emails within few days and if you don't understand something (it will be common, it is just the subject) always feel free to email him and he can help.
In a word: Inconsiderate. No late work. 75 min time limit on final, no revisiting questions to change answers, gave our final on Sunday before finals week was even supposed to start, even though he emails you every Friday "Signing off for the weekend! Expect no responses from me until Monday."
Not impossible to get an A. However, the main issue is that even though there are few assignments, he has a condescending tone and sometimes passive aggressive. Maybe shows off a little too much for example, he justifies why the final is 50% because his daughter at Harvard Law School has a final that's worth more than that. Odd but good for him.
a few google searches show this guy is very educated and successful. he went to berekely and UPENN so he might know what hes talkin about. 1 hour lecture every week, homework is very short, only 2 questions. everything done on cengage. but bc this was online it felt very similar to every other class, i assume his in person would be better.
Only a few things to turn in. Tough grader. Doesn't allow late work, even if you have an emergency. Final is 50% of your grade. Scheduled final on Father's Day and only gives you less than a minute on each question. The things I liked: his lectures & quick email responses. Unfortunately, I don't recommend. People failed after putting in hard work.
He doesn't give much hw but the hw he gives hes pretty strict on how he grades things, the final is also worth 50% of your grade so i recommend studying for it. He gives good feedback on your discussion questions though and is pretty helpful in helping you understand what went wrong with your answer.
I would highly recommend Professor Salah for Business Law - I took the course a few years ago but remembered how much I enjoyed his teaching style and informative attitude.
Loved this class. Recommend to everybody. It teaches you crucial things about money such as investments, real estate, credit, etc. This class was async with no recorded lectures. His resources are xtremely useful. He provides more than the txtbook and I loved it. Hw is doo doo easy. No quizes only midterm and final, can be found on quizlets lmao.
My online class was pretty chill and super easy ! Definitely would take again. Posted lectures but not mandatory to watch but highly recommend.
took him for personal finance. weekly modules aren't too bad but can be tricky. exams are based on the book he gives us, but questions can trip you up. i definitely learned a lot from him especially with handling finances and taxes.
All the "homework" are technically quizzes and he gives one extra credit assignment at the beginning of the quarter. Also gives weekly written problems and a cumulative final exam on canvas. Pretty average teacher and the only plus from his class is that an A grade is at 90%.
Gives weekly Flatword Assignments which are quizzes and then problems which will be over a specific law the chapter covers. As long as you stay on top of reading the chapters, the class is easy enough.
