Long late-night class, but taught me a lot about archaic computer concepts. However, it looks as though the final really really screwed a lot of people up because they missed one small thing and took too long.

Teacher was very helpful. The class had quite a bit of work, but it was doable. He was funny and obviously interested in the topic.

He was very understanding, and helped me a ton! Would recommend him to anyone who really wanted to learn and participate. He did get on those who just wanted to sit there and sleep.

I sure don't understand the 'critical' student. He was very flexible when I needed help with attend. etc. I would think that that student just wants an excuse for doing poorly, and he's an easy target. The student just won't accept responsibility.

Old school style of teaching, helpful, tests are quite hard, but assignments are clear. you basically teach yourself with the book, but he is helpful if you dont quite understand something

Awesome class so far. Makes you think about technology and your decision making. I know some in class don't like it, but he makes you think. That seems to be hard for some when the grades must be earned. They seem to drop when they don't get all A's. This isn't grade school.

Quite a bit of work, but you get a lot of information from it. Not a fluff class compared to some. He includes internet research, quiz, books, student opinion, etc. Sleepers don't do well and have dropped.

He enjoys "harassing" people...more so pick on them! He expects everyone to be able to read a chapter and then do an assignment without it being taught! Class time he enjoys talking ALL about himself and himself only! He has is favorites...One of the cool things is he lets us out of class early alot of the time.

He's been very helpful so far. I really don't like computers, but I can ask questions and he tries to make me understand. I'd take him again.

Great class, lots of work (but a lot of its interesting). Tests/quizes are very flexible. Can't skip his class, but you can't skip your job either. Very fair to all students grade/assignment wise. Due dates are generally not blown without previous warning. Welcomes students to his office for help or just chat, and will tease you on multiple topics

This class is easy but requires you to do the work to get a good grade.Most people will quickly realize that hes very self centered and likes to teach ethics more than wuts in the book.The quizzes and tests are not hard and do not require u to open the book.

Easy class, just requires a lot of time to do the work. Rumor has it that you only need to save the file as the required file name to get all the points because he doesnt check to actually see if u do the work.

Easiest class ever, if you just do your work! He is very clear about when assignments are due, and he grades really easily, so as long as you turn your work in on time and don't blow off class, you will have an easy A. If you do poorly in this class, it's because of laziness, not the work.

I took the class in the spring and although it isn't my area I found the class very interesting. He explained the material in simple terms and gave 'real world' examples. There was quite a bit of work, but the info was really helpful

Very flexible class. Wasn't forced to stay and do the work in the room. He recognized that I could do it outside of class.

So far its a neat class. instead of just reading from the book he brings real life experience into the lectures

It just past the midterm and the class is fun. I was scarred of taking the class, but hes made it fun and interesting. Entering programing now so well see. Good so far

I HATE programming, but the rest of the class is great. Very informtive. I learned a lot so far. Would love to take another class with him!

Positives: ALL assignments, quizzes, and tests are on Angel. Most work is completed at home and interesting class discussions (occasionally lectures) about the material are held in class. Work can be completed in lab if needed. Negatives: Some lengthly papers required to pass. Class discussions can sometimes get off topic. I still would recommend.

i loved mr. wagner's class, he is very interesting.. if you did your work, you will pass the class with a " A".. if you are having trouble with something, he is always there to help you.

All assignments on Angel. Tests have a 1-week window. quizes can be taken repeatedly. Likes to talk, goes off-topic a lot. Lets us leave REALLY early.

You need to attend class to pass. All Wagner's stuff is on Angel and all quizzes can be retaken as many times as you want. Tests are also online, but very difficult. Trust me, MAKE SURE YOU RETAKE ALL YOUR QUIZZES UNTIL YOU GET 100% on them. You will need it. Awesome instructor.

Awesome instructor! You need to attend everyday or grade will suffer! The books are needed! I saw students who didn't buy the book and their grade suffered on the tests and quizzes. Fun class & great discussions on Computer topics etc!

Great class! I learned a lot, and had fun doing it! You do haveto buy the books...they will be used. He does take attend each day, so that does make some mad. Tests are ok, and he's fair.

Good class! We had fun but I learned a lot. He relates the material to real life. Attendence is required, and you need the book, but you'll be glad you showed up. Very helpful.

Not Attending class will deduct 1% off final grade for each class missed. Get the eTextbook for the online quizzes and tests(easier to copy ?s in search bar than flip through pages & u can take quizzes multiple times) There's lots of work for this class but it's too easy. He's not a flexible teacher, his way or the highway, otherwise nice guy.

He knows a lot about what he teaches. He makes sure the students know the material before he goes on. Tests and quizzes are all online and open book. Tells a lot of stories, interesting teacher. I would take him again.

He is a very nices teacher who always loves to joke with his classes and loves to go out of his way for his classes and tell funny stroy's

He is a very good professor and knows what he's teaching. You will use both books. All of the quizzes and tests are online. Quizzes can be taken unlimited by due date. Barely any hw. He always offers extra help and lab time. There will never be a dull moment and sometimes he'll let everyone leave 45 minutes early! :)

He is what a teacher should be. He is chill and is down to earth. He does get off topic but he tries to bring in real life examples of what we are learning. Quizzes, papers, and test are done on Icampus. Get B's and A's and you should pass. I recommend him.

OVERALL AN EASY CLASS BESIDES THE ETHICAL ISSUES THIS CLASS IS EASY!! HE GOES OFF TOPIC ALOT LOL ALL QUIZES AND TEST ARE TAKEN ONLINE.BE SURE TO TAKE NOTES AT THE END OF THE SEMESTER WHEN HE GOES OVER THE FLOW CHARTS!!!!

Cool instructor, very laid back and likes to pick on people (all fun) He gives 2 chapters and 2 quizzes in the first week. easy course if you actually listen and class participation is required in discussion.

Mr. Wagner is a very good professor. He has MANY years under his belt and has a wealth of knowledge that you should take advantage of. Ask questions and participation is required for your grade. If your quiet and don't take part in conversations, you will lose points. HIGHLY recommend this professor.

He's a good teacher, his grading is fair and he is clear in class. At the start of the class there are some short writing assignments but the rest is online quizzestests and some small projects. You need the book to do well in the class. I suggest using the index to find terms quickly for the online testsquizzes

Prof Wagner was GREAT! Very helpful and kept the class that had a boring topic very interesting! Brings in a load of real life experiences to help explain topics in the book. TAKE HIM HES GREAT! I just read the last several posts and it struck me that they were written by the same student! Looks like that student just couldnt hack the course.

I agree! The class was FUN! Attendance IS important, but some students never come, and then are dumb enough to wonder why they get bad grades..... Come to class, do the work, study and you'll be fine. Wagner cares, and is ALWAYS in class early and he will talk to you if you go to him. He teases everybody in a good way.

Loved him. Fantastic class and very interesting person. Made the class fun and I always looked forward to coming to class! The student making the repeated poor evals stated that they lost points off the final..... the post was made 41715, A MONTH BEFORE FINALS! The student isn't very smart, and has little class. Take Prof Wagner if you can!

Mr. Wagner is a great professor. I personally hate computer science, but he made the class very easy for me. Attendance is mandatory since a lot of the assignments are online. He is quick grader, also once you are done with all your assignments you do not have to attend again!

Whether you're going into this field or not, this class is incredibly easy. Everything you learn the first half of the class will come from the book, and the second half you'll learn a few things outside the book. Just show up, complete the work, and you'll get an A

His class is tough, but he is not. Him and I messed with each other on a daily basis. His attendance policy is kind of lame, but he cares so much for his students, and even helped me out with some personal issues. TAKE HIS CLASS SERIOUSLY THOUGH!

It is easy to stay focused in class because Wagner makes it genuinely enjoyable to be there.

Never skip, do your homework, don't be stupid, and you will have a great time with this teacher. People stated he 'picks on students'? Blasphemy, as long as you understand basic socializing with other humans you will understand this man's great sense of humor. I wish other teachers could learn from Mr. Wagner, such a great teacher, very realistic.

Excellent class! Tells a lot of jokes, and cares about his students. Great class for people not sure about their major. Attend is important, and he will apply computer concepts to class discussions. Computer ethics is a component, and it was ironic that he caught a student cheating in our class. How flat out dumb can a person be!

Great class! Loved the personality that he shows. Very funny, and keeps your attention. Makes computers interesting, and something that I looked forward to. I read a few complaints about the attend. policy (which are lame) because how can you logically be a college student and skip class? The students that I've talked to liked his classes also.

Professor Wagner is like the Grandfather I wish I had. This man knows his content and his is as witty as they come. His stories regarding the class material are legit and his teaching style is easily understood. I would recommend him 100%
