. This is my second semester in a row having Dan as an instructor and he really does everything in his power to help students succeed in his class and outside the class. Dan is very easy to talk to, and is crystal clear on what he expects, and as long as you try hard and put the effort in, he will reward you with whatever he think is fair.

Dan teaches you what you need to know in accounting and does it well. Come to class, as attendance can help your grade: if you are on the cusp of making it to the next grade level, he will look at attendance-- good attendance? You can go from an A- to A. Word. :)

This is my 2nd accounting course with Dan and 2nd time taking ACCT 255. With Dan, I went from C to A. He made accounting fun by cracking jokes and giving relatable examples (eg Holt Renfrew). Also, he prepared us by giving questions to practice for quizzes and final. Dan has passion for teaching, cares about his students and wants them to succeed.

MNGT200 isn't the toughest course to pass but the one professor who makes it fun is Dan Wong. He is very friendly and easy-going. Dan is understanding and supportive of all matters. I must say BizCafe wouldn't have been fun without him as our instructor! Online classes could be hard to cope up with but never disappoints us. I'd 100% recommend him.

Dan is a caring and considerate teacher, who lays out all the criteria and expectations clearly so there are no surprises. When planning to major in accounting it's important to have a strong knowledge of the basic concepts. I was very lucky to have Dan as my ACCT-215 teacher. I think people forget how hard it is for teachers to adapt to an online environment after being use to human connection and interaction within their classroom. Dan handled this semester amazingly. Not every professor takes the time to thoroughly explain the difficult material (especially if no one asks a question) to ensure we have the opportunity to do our best. It was appreciated. I am new to accounting and feel I have a solid foundation to build on.

Dan was a very personable lecturer. He encouraged class discussion, and created an environment where students felt comfortable participating. The course itself was not overly difficult, but about 30% of your grade is based on group work. I don't love the way the group work gets graded, but that might be more of a SAIT issue. ACCT215 is known by most as a tough course. Dan understands all of that and gives engaging lectures with real life examples that make understanding hard concepts a lot easier. He answers questions thoroughly and makes sure you understand before moving on. Do the assignments, attend his classes and ask questions and you'll be fine.

I took accounting 215 for the second time with Dan Wong. He was an excellent teacher and explained topics in a way that were easily understood and he always ensured everyone was on the same page before moving forward. Very friendly and supported. I would definitely take a course with him again.

Dan Wong is an excellent professor, he is a great professional. He loves teaching, so for us as students, is better to learn from professors that love their courses. He was always looking to solve any doubt. As an international student, this course is very hard, but he gave us all the material to understand accounting.

ACC215 is quite challenging for most students. No worries, Dan delivers it very well even in a two month online condensed course. All you need to do is just following Dan's course schedule and instruction( pre-reading for nightmire chapter 3 and 4), doing WileyPlus Assignments on time and attending quize review. His quize review if quite helpful!!!

If you need any help, he responds almost immediately via email. Taking his class, you won't regret it.

Wonderful ACCT 215 instructor. He really cares and wants his students to do well. He provides real life examples while giving lectures and provides plenty of practice problems to do well in exams. If you are willing to put some work on practicing problems and homework, exams are not that hard.

On BizCafe simulations, he gives good advice to the teams without giving any team an added advantage. He allows us to learn our own decisions while guiding us.

Dan was so awesome! He always makes it clear where previous students had issues in order to warn us and with the amount of practice problems he provides its easy to avoid falling behind.
