This professor is too hot to hold. I really loved this class.

I loved Mr. Campbell. God bless this man. He was very funny, easy going,always ready to help, could sit with everyone for hours. And funny, always full of jokes.And class is pretty easy, even though I hated chemistry before:)

The best chem. teacher ever!!!!!

Dana Campbell is one of Moraine's TOP instructors!! The whole class just loved him, seriously. He is friendly, helpful, and "he makes chemistry fun to learn." The one instructor who is there ALWAYS to help you with your problems. Exams can be a bit hard, but he gives extra credit. GREAT GUY!!

mr. campbell is the nicest, funniest, friendliest man. he makes the class a lot of fun, especially at 8 in the morning. he is helpful also. if you study you will be fine.

He was a great teacher, I really didn't like chemistry, but he was helpful and always willing to stay after classs or meet when you can. He wants you to pass! It's your money, get help if you dont understand something.....he will help you!

I thought he was a great teacher. He gives out optional homework which i first you blow off but later you realize its worth doing. Gives out extra credit quizzes..... answers as many questions as you have...even ends class like about 15 minutes early if your having trouble with something.

He is a really helpful guy. Nevverr miss a class because you take a quiz (10 pts) every lecture and turn in a lab assign.(10 pts) every lab day. If you miss anything you WILL NOT be able to make it up (even if u have a doctors note). DO THE HW & study 4 quizes, super nice, gives extra credit quizes, but will not budge over ANYTHING.

no matter what this class is going to be hard but he was an awesome teacher.you HAVE to go to class though and you must do the optional homework or you will be lost!

He's just ok. He talks really fast because he really likes what he's teaching but there's no way you can listen write and understand all in that same 2 seconds. But he will go over anything a hundred times if you need. He DOES NOT bend on anything crying pleading nothing so Study and the homework or you will be lost. He doesnt curve either.

This guy is great. Made it easy to learn. Was very intimidated by this class at first; haven't had chem before. He talks super fast, but repeats everything a million times til you understand it. MUST do the homework in order to pass the tests. Gives lots of EC quizes in the beginning of the semester so take advantage!

He is great! And fun!! you have to remind him of things for individual circumstances but besides that he made me really love chemistry. I had fun and he gives plenty of help after class if you don't understand. Take advantage of the help, you can get an A in the class if you do the home work and he will review until everyone understands. Great guy

Very good teacher! He makes sure you understand the material, and if not he will make extra time to help you! He will give extra credit throughout the course if needed..overall very very good teacher I hated chem and he knows we all do, but you'll get through it if you take Campbell!

I have never taken a chemistry class and was really nervous about attempting one. Mr. Campbell made the class enjoyable and made the material easy to understand. He also says "SCANDALOUS!" all the time. It's hilarious.

Mr. Campbell is so nice and funny. The three hour lectures went by so fast. I barely studied at all or did any homework and still got an A. He gives a lot of extra points for no reason. If you don't miss a class you're pretty much guaranteed an A or B.

MR. Cambell is the best! He really understands that Chemistry can be hard sometimes and not everyone likes it so he tries to make the material understandable as possible! Attendance is how you get a good grade because just for coming to class you get 20 points and everyday you'll be given a quiz, half of them he wont take a grade for. TAKE THIS CLASS!!

Mr. Campbell is an AWESOME teacher! He is VERY helpful and you can e-mail him anytime you want. He talks fast but if you ask him to go over things, he definitely will. He makes sure that we get the material, he will answer any questions! He is hilarious and always laughs! He made the class fun and I learned a lot from him. I now love chemistry!

If you need to take intro to chem take Mr. Campbell! He is one of the greatest teachers I have ever had. He makes the class so interesting and makes chemistry fun. He gives out so many free points with lab and quizzes and as long as you come to class and pay attention to his lecture, you'll definitly pass his tests. No suprises!

Professor Campbell is THE best! TAKE HIM for chemistry, you will be so happy you did. I have never liked or done well in chemistry, not only did I finally GET IT, I got an A in class thanks to the great teaching of Professor Campbell. TAKE HIM! You would be crazy not to.

He's really easy if you want to get college 101 over with in the summer. He laughs a lot and goes off topic, which is good. Pretty much you only need the textbook for the pages for the final, so if you can get those pages you don't really need the book because it's common sense. Overall, he's an enjoyable guy and I recommend him if you want it easy

I am not good at math or chemistry and with this teacher it was so easy and clear to me, if you attend his classes your good for the quizzes, if you do the homework problems it's like reviewing for the test itself. You get 10 pts for being in class for the participation quizzes, automatic 10 pts for the labs (which are fun)if your in class

Awesome teacher. Theres only 1 rule to get an A, go to class every week and pay attention and ask questions, and you will get an A+. Easy class gives you 50 points extra credit at the end

He's awesome, helpful, tests are tricky, quizzes not so bad, easy points, will help you as much as you need, before, during or after class! This teacher is awesome. He is hilarious. Breaks everything down to easy basic levels. I HATED chemistry and was awful at it, but he teaches it in a way that is easy to pick up on and understand. Loved it. I wish he taught all chem classes!!

Mr. Campbell is such a goofball. He has a tendency to get off topic, but it helps to break up such a dry subject as Chemistry. He's also very funny so that helps. Campbell knows Chem very well so he's always willing to help. Do your homework, come to class (free points!), attend labs (free points!), study quizzes, & u will do well in his class.

He can be so goofy at times, but that made his class great. He always explained clearly, especially if you asked a question and always helped you if you didn't understand. In high school I almost failed chemistry because I had a terrible teacher, but I got an A in Professor Campbell's class. He is really a great teacher.

I would not recommend this teacher at all. He doesn't know how to explain problems. Answers on the tests are so tricky. Easy points on participation quizzes but that's all... I did not like him.

Very nice and hilarious. He made class interesting and go by fast. Practice quizzes were given before the real ones. Extra points for attendance. The book was barely used since it was more complex to understand the concept than lectures and notes which made things easier to understand. Experiments was fun! Tests was ok but extra credit saved us.

i took the 3 week class in the summer. he was by far the easiest col101 teacher ever the quizes were only one question long. it would be stupid if u didnt take him for col101 in the summer its only 3 days long nd the final is a simple paper.

Dana is the bomb! He is absolutely hilarious and if you don't understand something he will spend extra time going through any questions that you may have. Quizes on previous material learned are before every lecture and participation quizes are after every lecture on the new material. TAKE THIS CLASS. IT IS EASY IF YOU STUDY. I currently have a 94%

I just got done taking his 3 week college 101 class, it was just 3 Fridays, he's an awesome guy and super funny.This was the easiest class in the world, it's a really fun class he would always let us out early.Im definitely thinking of taking his chemistry class, this guy is full of life and loves to teach

He does a very good job explaining the lessons and makes you feel very comfortable in class. If you study the quizzes and do the homework you should easily get an A. Just make sure to do some extra work after class.

Professor Campbell was a great teacher. This class is the class for you to take if you hate Chemistry. He is very clear and his lectures are informative. He knows his subject and occasionally says stories and jokes. He cares about his students and is sees students for hepl outside of office hours. You can't slack off and have to study.

It is physically impossible to fail this class if you just show up. Chem is supposed to be hard. He is a great teacher. He really cares about his students. He is willing to help if you ask. First off, this guy is hilarious. Constantly making jokes and telling ridiculous stories, but his laugh is even better. Anyway, most quizzes were done together and taken as participation - he wouldn't let you leave until you had all the right answers. His tests were eh, study and you should do fine. Only problem is he doesn't to post on blackboard.

This man is a legend around Moraine science building. He is the Head of his department. He has to be the funniest professor i've ever met lmao. Gives no mandatory homework for points but still give you practice worksheets. Gives quizzes that tricks you into thinking are real then gives you all 100% and goes over it as a great review for exam. TAKE!

Campbell was by far one of the best professors I have had at Moraine! If class ends early he would stay and help you understand material you didn't understand. There's quizzes but not graded automatically got credit if you showed up for class. I missed the 1st 2 classes because of late sign-up and I still managed to get 105%. A must take professor!

Great teacher! This class is super easy to pass and get a good grade on. He gives you 10/10 on every quiz, homework, and labs just for being there and doing it. He'll answer any question you have. He also let us out early every time. He gives you a lot of resources and a final study guide online. Anyone who didn't do well in this class was LAZY!!!

I had Dr. Campbell for just the lab portion of this class and a young new teacher for the lecture so I didn't get much lecture from him. He's really nice and easy going but talks to fast and mumbles so he is very hard to understand. You have to listen closely when hes speaking. If you can get over that then I would recommend him.

Took him for chem 111, talks about his life A LOT! Don't learn much in lecture but you get points for showing up. Exams are kinda hard but as long as you memorize the formulas your good.

GREAT TEACHER! Willing to answer any questions very thoroughly and makes chemistry so easy! Doing the homework outside of the class on your own will help you pass, if not you probably will fall a bit behind. attendance is mandatory, so even if you're not doing well and still come to class you'll probably pass with a C.

Take him if you want an easy A and learn basic chem. Textbook wasnt needed unless you want to do the ungraded hw for practice. Labs are easy he just gives you points for showing up. Quizzes arent graded either he just gives you points the pts. He is really funny too. His lectures are great if you pay attention bc he gives you hints for the tests.

He helps with the papers he gives during the class. He gives you the periodic table during the exam so this is a good credit for him. But you need to study out the class, you need to help yourself with youtube videos and tutoring center.

His bubbly personality makes chemistry fun! His class is easy if you watch his lecture videos before coming to class. That way you would have questions prepared to ask, and you would understand the assignments better! You do no not necessarily need to take notes if you pay attention to his lectures.

great professor, I learned so much in this chem class. Very great at lecturing and he seems to care about teaching his students the material. Labs are only 100 points which is good for at home labs. He is caring and one of the best professors ive had at Moraine Valley so far.

I had Prof. Campbell for the 2021 4-week Winter Session. He was terrific; I went to all his lecture videos which he recorded and posted because attendance was not mandatory. He was so into the Christmas spirit (I mean, who wouldn't?) Tests were every week (obviously), and we covered all of General Chemistry I. I ended the class with a 98%.

Prof Campbell was amazing. I watched all the lectures on canvas and it helped understand all units. His math was amazing and easy to understand. This was my 3rd time taking chem and passed with a B! I 100% am taking again for chm131!!!

Professor Campbell was wonderful! I took him for winter term and he was super clear about expectations and laid out a clear path for getting an A if you were willing to put in the time and effort. His lectures were a little meandering, but once he got into the material his explanations made it easy to grasp the concepts. Deadlines are set in stone.

Amazing professor took her for winter chem 11. Clear grading and very easy A if you do your work on time. Only thing is she gives a lot of work but it's for the winter so it's understandable. overall, I recommend it.

I took this class as a hybrid, and I would take it again. The teacher was amazing, he did get off topic alot but he knew what he was talking about.

Professor Campbell is a great teacher - his lectures can be a bit all over the place, but he knows the material well. Definitely use Unstuck AI and the free textbook to supplement. Easy A if you stay on top of things.

Labs were graded easy, exams were all multiple choice as well as quizzes.

Great teacher. You can learn if you are interested. You can also pass if you just want to pass. I took this class face-to-face and I learned a lot. It is easy to get a "C" grade just by doing the minimum, but you need to work to get an "A".

Professor Campbell is really friendly and funny. I understand how some people could be upset or annoyed because he tends to ramble and share stories, but I enjoyed those moments. His lectures are disorganized, and he doesn't really go off the book; you have to do the homework and read BEFORE you go to his classes.

He's very passionate about chemistry and sometimes overcomplicates his lectures but will answer any questions you have until you get it. Only labs are required for attendance but if you want to get a good grade attend the lectures. He gives you every chance to earn a passing grade. Labs are self guided but he will walk you through it if you need
