Dr. Del George is an amazing professor and I highly recommend her to anyone who struggles with writing like myself. Her criticism is fair and it really helps you get better as the course goes along. She is very responsive and genuinely cares for her students and their well being.

I have NEVER been so academically inspired by a teacher bro. She's the most intelligent/well spoken professor I've EVER had. She is incredibly caring, understanding, and kind!! I have no idea why homegirl at the top of this page is being so mf petty but i LOVED this professor, and so did all of my friends in the class. Would definitely recommend <3

Most amazing professor that I've ever taken, literally. I went in thinking she would be strict due to the syllabus she sent out, but turned out to be so understanding, amazing, and kind. Lots of reading, so be prepared, but if you follow her "recipe for writing," you will do very well on essays. Oh, I just loved her personality and class. RECOMMEND

I loved this class and Prof Del George. There's a lot of reading, but Del George does a good job at creating a good discussion in the class about what we've read. She's super open to everyone's understanding of the text.

One of the best teachers that I have ever had. During the pandemic, she made class so easy while the world was falling apart in front of us all. I would 10/10 recommend her as a teacher!!

Dr. Del George is a good professor. There's a lot of reading, but most of the readings are interesting. There are 3 writing exams and 2 papers. I thought she was going to be a tough grader, bit she isn't. Instructions are always clear and she's super helpful.

I took her 8-week long English 1 class, which I honestly felt was better than taking a full lengthed semester class. We wrote two essays and the first was one was written to help us write the final essay. There are discussions, journals, and quizzes weekly, but they were easy grade boosters. She also has multiple extra credit opportunities.

Professor Del George's class was very organized and lets you decide what grade you want. It's not hard to get an A, but I chose to go for a B because I work full time and I had limited time to dedicate to this class. I really liked the interactive video lectures where you get to answer questions as you go along.

The Canvas shell had a lot of effort put into it, but was a mess and scattered. This made it very confusing to navigate and understand how she wanted work done. The grade of a C- is the max achievable if you do all the work graded lectures, essays 4 & discussions. Extra credit is worth 25% of your grade a C is the max without. The course is easy

Dr. Del George is an amazing professor! Her canvas was easy to navigate and you basically choose what kind of grade you want. She grades only on competition but still gives feedback so you know what to improve on. The 8-week course was pretty easy and manageable. I would love to take her again.

Dr. Del George is a very caring individual. Her course is super easy in my opinion since you are graded rather lightly. She always gives feedback but if you would like any more specific kind of feedback you should do your part and reach out to her. Really good course to level up your writing skills.

Del George despite having an 8 week course, was honestly one of the easiest professors I had. While I don't think the Go Further assignments should count towards our grade it did provide a nice opportunity for reflection. There is a learning curve for her canvas which is beautifully organized once you learn it. Just write for the rubric requirement

I took Dr. Del George for English 1 and it was honestly the hardest class I had. She is an amazing person who answers every question as fast as she can, but the assignments were horrible. You can only pick 1 out of the 4 she chooses and then have to start writing. No explanation about how to do so. She just pushes you right into it.
