One of the best classes I have taken in college so far. She is a real chill teacher and makes sure when we leave class we learned something. I absolutely HATE public speaking but Ms. D helped it become easier to handle. Also she is a tough grader and gives AMAZING feedback. If you miss class it can affect how you do on your next speech.
Great teacher! Hilarious and relate-able. I really enjoyed her class. She really does a good job of getting the class comfortable with public speaking. Class attendance is a must. Few quizzes. Most of your grade relies on your speeches. Would definitely take her again.
Demercurio is awesome!! She doesn't require any books only a notebook!!! She makes it easy to go up and gives you all the resources needed!! BUT! do not show up thinking you can't do the work because it will effect your grade! Also SHOW UP!! don't miss class it will piss her off! DO THE OUTLINE!!! if you don't do the outline I pray for you. 5/5
Enjoyed this prof very much. High standards to push you and is engaging. Be on time and get work done early.
TAKE HER!!! You won't regret it. She legit makes you work hard for your grade, but I've become a way better student after taking her class. Worth the effort if you're willing to experience what college is truly like.
Really cool person, chill & open, fun lectures, explicitly clear about what she expects, what's allowed and what you should avoid, do that and you can't go wrong. You'll have to put in quite some work and practice , but it's one of the few classes in college where you actually grow as a person if you take it seriously and make something out of it.
Very cool teacher. Informative lectures, funny, and makes it very clear on what you need to do to get a good grade, but you still need to work for it. She's very engaging though so you never feel like you can't do a speech well. Pretty blunt a lot of the time, but I feel like a better speaker from taking her class. Highly recommend.
The first two speeches are easy to go up because it relies on your personal life experience. Although, for the informative speech she doesn't give enough time to practice it. She will go over it when it is close to speech days. Which I think it is not fair and especially in the summer it stresses everyone out. However, she knows her stuff.
Professor DeMercurio is someone who makes you work but in a good way. Out of all my colleges professors I feel like she truly enjoys what she is doing and ensures the success of every student. By taking her class you will become a better public speaker without a doubt.
She is not very kind. I think she sorta has an attitude without even realizing it. This teacher is no easy A because you really have work for it and get use to her daily quizzes.
Prof D is awesome! It's so hard to get motivated in summer, but she gets us motivated! She may not be easy, but you can't do better - I learned so much this summer and improved my speech skills!
Professor DeMercurio is a fair but tough teacher. I took her class over the summer semester and due to an injury was unable to finish. She took time to make it so I could take an Imcomplete and finish the class this Fall. She is funny and relates to the students very well.
Professor DeMercurio gives clear grading criteria and expects you to do your best. She creates a clear path to success in her class IF you're willing to work for it. Yes, she is tough but i appreciated her straightforward style. Show up for class on time, be prepared and to do the work as she asks and you will pass. Extremely informative class.
Ms. D is such an amazing teacher. She makes the vibe in the class so funny and comfortable you start feeling like you've known her and your classmates forever. She makes going up in front of the class so easy. She's a fair grader, just do your work and you'll easily pass. There's a total of 4 speeches. The pop quizzes are about your speech outline.
This is the professor you want to take for public speaking, she's really great and her speeches she helps you with it if you need it. She always answers to her emails quickly and speech wise we only did about 4 for them throughout the semester. She gives great feedback. Show up to class to get your participation points and also do your speeches.
I was super nervous for this class because it's public speaking. By the 2nd speech I felt so comfortable. She is a great professor & really does care. She is funny and offers extra credit for every speech if you bring in food for the class. There is 4 speeches and she helps you every step. Points are received through attendance &5 point quizzes.
Great Prof! She's funny and gives great lectures. Rubrics/formats for speeches are clear and tells you exactly what she is looking for in each speech. Class had lectures, quizzes, some 1pg journals, and 4 speeches. Also gives extra credit opportunities through extra assignments to simply just bringing food on speech days. Definitely recommend!
You must show up to class because attendance is graded. Shes hilarious and over all a great professor . She made this scary class into such a great class . She would give us outlines to create our speeches and they were so helpful ! I feel like I became so much better at publishing speaking . Enjoyed her so much .
One of my favorite professors! Will not forget her! Follow the steps she gives you & you will pass. If you don't try you just wont pass. After the first 2 speeches you will be fine in front of people. You can get really creative & in depth in this class. She makes sure your in a comfortable class environment. Thank you Demercurio Summer 2019 12pm!
Tough Class. As long as you keep up with your work, practice your speeches, and show up to class it is an easy A. She doesn't give a grade she makes you work for It. Does give plenty of feedback on speeches. Really hard to fail if you try.
Good comm professors at Delta College are hard to come by, but Professor D was a great one. She always answered my questions and gave feedback so I could fix my mistakes on speeches and assignments. I enjoyed her class a lot
Not organized, nor clear with her instructions. Wants everything her way to get a good grade. Gave homework almost everyday. Harsh grading, try avoiding her.
Different from other professors IMO. I appreciated her approach to student learning, and as an online course she made it manageable. She knows what she is doing with Canvas which is nice too.
Professor DeMercurio delivered engaging, funny and informative lectures, and quickly adapted the course material to a semester that saw a lot of disruptions in schedule outside of her (or the students') control. She was readily available for feedback (in fact, the reiteration of drafts and material is an essential part of the workflow in her class)
She was a good professor, but I would not take her class again. She is a tough grader, one little mistake can affect your whole grade. Be prepared for a lot of reading, quizzes, and speeches. You have to put in a lot of work into this class.
Great teacher! Very helpful.
Professor DeMercurio was great. I had a lot of questions and problems, and she was very accommodating. The workload is manageable, and I did nearly all the work on the weekends. She gave lots of EC opportunities this semester, so I'll probably end over 100%. Take notes on the chapter readings for the quizzes and don't procrastinate on speeches.
Ms. DeMercurio is an AMAZING communications professor that is there for you every step of the way. She is quick to respond to any and all questions/concerns. As long as you put forth the effort, your grade will reflect. She grades very accurately so follow rubric exactly and participate in all discussions and assignment and you will do great!
I had Professor DeMercurio for COM ST 1A or Communications Studies 1A which was a public speaking class. After taking this class I have gotten much better at public speaking and have become much more comfortable delivering speeches. Professor DeMercurio is a great instructor. She is extremely helpful and she really cares about her students success.
Professor DeMurcurio really wants to see you succeed and will give you a lot of chances to pass with extra credit. She gives you step-by-step instruction on how to do your outline for your speech, will help you revise it and gives you plenty of time to do it. If you do this, the graded discussion and the assignments you will pass the class.
Professor Demercurio is a great professor! She is kind and understanding to all her students. She also gives very clear and direct directions on all assignments which is always appreciated! Not only that, but she gives great feedback to you for improvement! I would definitely love to have her again
We were always given an appropriate amount of time to write and practice our speeches before turning them in. The feedback for our rough drafts was always timely. However, quizzes were incredibly specific and irritating at times. I dont know how many points this specific part of our speech is worth off the top of my head.
DeMercurio will make you work for your grade, but trust me when I say it is worth it. Doing well felt like a huge confidence boost! Follow her instructions explicitly, take her feedback constructively, put in true effort and you'll see it reflected in your grade. AMAZING in person lectures. She is hilarious and has a vibrant personality.
Professor DeMercurio means well, but honestly if you value your sanity, take another teacher for public speaking. Professor DeMercurio gives A LOT of unnecessary assignments. Her class is much more difficult than it should be, and she gives unclear directions but expects you to read her mind and know what she wants you to do. I could go on and on.
Professor D is very organized but she does not acknowledge effort nor content. All about format. She is not very understanding for circumstances so just a warning. This entry level course will feel like an upper division course for silliest reasons. The material itself & assignments are EASY its the grading. Definitely regret believing these reviews.
Professor DeMercurio treats this entry-level class like all the students in her class are majoring in communications. She makes the class much harder than it needs to be, is a very strict grader, and often hits you on things that you're supposed to do which aren't even listed in the instructions. Beyond relieved to be done with her class.
Professor Demercurio definitely knows what she is doing. She gives clear and effective feedback which can help you improve your speeches. You also have to work for your grade as she does give out a lot of assignments, quizzes, and reading. The work isn't hard, just make sure you follow her instructions and it should be a breeze.
I appreciated the organization but she is far too hard of a grader for a required entry level speech course. The point should be to gain organization and confidence in public speaking but it felt more focused on the nitty gritty. I spent sooo much time preparing and practicing but it never seemed good enough. I also never felt encouraged by prof D.
take her, she tells you what needs to be changed to get 100% on the speeches her feedback is very useful. As long as you follow instructions and fix it you will pass the class. You do have to research and have to have an audience for the last 2 speeches. Speeches aren't too long, would recommend this for people that are nervous with publicspeaking
As stated in her syllabus, her communication course is not typical. She really tries to make students succeed not just in the course but also to teach them communication skills that they will use outside of the course. I have pretty severe social anxiety, but after taking this course I can communicate better with others because of what I learned.
Professor DeMercurio is a wonderful professor and will really help you if you reach out. You have 4 speeches, two of them with live audiences but Professor D was so encouraging and understanding. She is particular about the details, which some people may not like, but its because she really cares about her work and wants to make you shine.
I got an F in her class because I did not show up for a one of the two live speechs that we had. I had done all of my work on time before that and the only reason I did no show up was because my dog had passed away. I informed her before the actual presentation but two days later I was sent an email saying I would be failed for missing ONE speech
I do not recommend to take this class as a summer course, way to many assignment but I'm sure it will be great as a regular course. The professor reply's pretty fast and is a very tough grader, gives great feedbacks and tells you want you need to improve on. If you want to be a better speaker take her class, she will definitely help you improve.
She is nice and communicates within a day or two, but she doesn't like when people don't follow instructions perfectly. She also has you pay for an application for $35 that I only used twice because she only made two assignments for it.
Getting every speech filmed and submitted is basically crucial to passing this course as you will not score 100% on every speech. It's likely that you will score lower on the final Zoom speeches so don't forget to complete the quizzes and discussion posts if you are aiming for an A. Take advantage of the feedback and peer reviews as well!!
When she gives assignments she doesn't know how to explain work that is given to us & when you email her she doesn't respond to emails when you are trying to get help from her. And for the assignments that she gave out which is an informative speech outline for main point 1&2 with conclusion I put everything that she wanted and still gave me a 0/20
Professor D makes an 8 am Monday class quite enjoyable. Relatable, great personality, and forward thinking. Tech savvy. Very harsh grader, but offers thorough feedback. Nice class pace and content is understandable. Plenty of room for creativity within speeches. This class has taught me a lot!
Drops you for missing three classes, not completing three assignments in the first week, and/or for missing any of the speeches (bad because this is a required class!). Very condescending and hypocritical, had no lectures and essentially made you figure out the class on your own, insulted my intelligence several times both publicly and privately.
She is a decent professor. However, a very very harsh grader. This was my first public speaking class. I received high scores on all my speeches except for one, and my grade went a whole letter down.
Professor DeMercurio's dedication to her students is truly inspiring. She not only wants them to excel academically but also to thrive in the world beyond the classroom. Her teaching skills and sense of humor make learning enjoyable and engaging. I highly recommend her as a teacher who can truly make a positive impact on the lives of her students.
Her course is very good but she gives a lot of homework though the speeches have the most grading and we spent a lot of time working on them, coming to class is mandatory and the book is given by her via PDF, a funny thing was that she would ask us to bring snacks to class during the speech days as an extra credit.
This was my first ever college course I took (I was 13 ) in dual enrollment. She was rude when answering questions, made public speaking harder than ever and was even more rude when I asked her to correct grades she needed to revise. I would never take her class again and I have major anxiety in my new public speaking class!
Ms D's class was helpful and taught me more than public speaking. To get better at speaking in front of the class, time management is key which she talks about alot during class. Take her in person because her lectures are funny and she engages with us.
take her class now! she is the best professor I have had at delta. the class is a little tough if you're timid or not into writing but with her lectures being full of jokes and so interactive, you have no choice but to become comfortable in the class. she's very helpful with anything you need like general assignment questions or feedback.
The 6 week summer class covered a lot of info but the class was set up very well. Professor D genuinely cares and gives out extra credit just because. I Improved a lot in her class thanks to her examples and feedback and classmate feedback..
She lacks empathy, one of the worst professors I have ever dealt with. She does not give clear instructions.
In my opinion, she wasn't really a super strict professor, but a very realistic grader that grades you based on exactly how you do. If there are clear, big mistakes, you will be docked points. She doesn't hand out easy A's, you gotta really work for them and put in the effort to practice your speeches if you want that A or B. Gives great feedback.
This course definitely helped me with my public speaking because the audience was required. I used classmates which was fine and we all gave each other feedback. Professor Demercurios homework come with feedback and if your doing the work she tells you what to do to get better.
I took Professor DeMercurio for my COMSTAT 3 class and it was awesome! She really made communications relevant to today's world allowing for real world application in real time. Her lesson is straight to the point and easy to follow. Everything was online and the reading material was provided which I really appreciated.
clear and concise course layout with plenty of heads up and information on each week's module. Gives encouraging feedback! would take this professors courses again!
Professor DeMercurio is one of the best professors I had ever have. Her lectures were really interesting and I actually enjoyed doing the discussion. I highly recommend taking her course because she is very organized in her modules and tells you exactly what she expects on assignments.
This professor was great! Lectures were clear and easy to follow. Exams and quizzes were based off of them. Essays were pretty straight forward as well. We had about 2 essays and 2 unit quizzes for the summer term. Homework assignments were manageable, about 2 or 1 discussions per week.
Prof. DeMercurio is an awesome professor! I had taken her COMST3 course during the summer, and she graded in a timely manner, and also gave great feedback on each assignment. I would definitely recommend her to other students and I would take her again.
Prof. Demercurio was fantastic! She made the course engaging and enjoyable, I felt that I learned a lot. Her lectures were interesting and kept my attention. She gave up to date and relevant information. Her grading is fair and always transparent.
I have a job, am dual enrolled, and take the class online only. I find it difficult setting time aside with all the work because of all the other things I am committed to, including college apps. She's a tough grader so you have to pay attention to detail. Still taking the class. Thought I would leave a review for future students also dual enrolled.
Professor DeMercurio is a great professor. She's straightforward and honest which actually helps the students want to do the best they can. You have to stay on track in this class and follow directions very correctly in order to do good.
Professor DeMercurio is a great professor. She's very clear on her assignments and speech's and we know what her expectations are. She is very helpful and answers her email immediately and handouts a lot of extra credit.
This professor is really nice. I liked how the professor gave detailed feedback for each assignment.
This professor has very good assignments and gives thorough feedback, which is really important as it helps students improve. Additionally, she does not grade so hard and allows for many extra-credit opportunities. Overall, would definitely take this class again!
Professor Demercurio teaches professionally well, with giving access to lectures, tutorials, and things that will make a student understand what their supposed to do and succeed in it.
Professor DeMercurio paces her course at an appropriate speed. All the assignments for each week are relatively uniform, a discussion and quiz per week usually, with a pretty early heads up on assignments that may take longer to do such as the speeches. While quite a bit of writing and research is involved for the speeches, she gives a lot of time.
she is expecting too much about the students, also too many rules to do a speech when most of the other professors don't have it.
Taking this class part online part on campus. She is a funny teacher and is engaging with students. A lot of time is spent preparing for the speeches. There are three but spread out over the months. She gives alot of feedback on assignments.
Professor DeMercurio is clear in her guidelines and instructions. She's strict when grading but gives good feedback. If you can't already speak decently in front of an audience, you're set up to fail in this class from the start. She doesn't have the most approachable or encouraging tone of voice, but she can definitely help if you have questions.
This professor provides the class with great resources to learn valuable information about public speaking. Although she is slightly strict with her grading and strongly adheres to her standards, she leaves great feedback to build upon. The coursework is spaced out well and provides us with sufficient time to complete assignments.
Professor DeMercurio offers valuable resources for public speaking and provides constructive feedback that helps students improve. She maintains high standards, but the pacing of the course is just right. Weekly assignments are well-structured. Overall, a great professor who genuinely supports student growth!
I can say that Professor Demercurio is fantastic. She gives you feedback about your work on every assignment, and she's also very clear in her instructions. She's phenomenal. I definitely recommend you guys get her as your professor!
Professor DeMercurio is a great professor! As long as you read the instructions and follow the samples she gives you, you will be fine! Make sure to do the readings and look at each thing in each module as they help for the quizzes. She gives great feedback! Make sure to stay on top of your work and not procrastinate because there is quite a lot.
Taking this course, she makes out all of her regulations very clear, she is also willing to help if you are into some sort of trouble either with the homework or in real life.
In the class you will learn a lot about public speaking and professor makes it so all material including the textbook is accessible. You will have to buy a pitch vantage subscription for 30 dollars, but if you can't afford you can always contact support. Professor grades in a timely fashion and provides feedback with a rubric attached.
The teacher was amazing to teach us and use her ability to tell us how to do different kinds of speeches. As well, she helps us or mostly gave us a great examples to what kind of informative outlines look like. As well, she was a strict teacher but a good way of strictness. She would be strict in the way of when to turn in homework and how to do it
Take this teacher because she gives examples and makes it very clear the requirements for the homework and speeches. I have enjoyed her class.
Can be a very tough grader. If you really are into public speaking take the class of not it will be very hard. Took a very long time for her to grade our speech.
Tough grader and very unorganized online—5 modules per assignment, none numbered. Feels like an English class with strict grading on outlines and citations. The class would be easier if assignments were numbered or included direct links, instead of requiring searches through dozens of modules. Little to no actual communication skills are taught.
Prof D puts a lot of effort into her class because she comes prepared and talks with us and gets us to talk during class. The homework isn't hard it just takes time but there is a lot of time for speeches and outlines to get done. Prof D is helpful and gives students samples on how everything needs to get done.
I thought the professor was funny and relatable during class. She has high standards but gives a lot of extra credit on speech days. She wanted students to talk during class to be comfortable and know everyone so be prepared.
She is a great teacher with clear expectations and helpful feedback. There are three speeches, but you have enough time to prepare for them, and she gives you the outline you need to get a good grade. Her class is fun, and she makes you feel comfortable, making public speaking easier and less intimidating for everyone.
Professor Dana Demercurio is an excellent, assertive, teacher who creates a fun and informative learning environment. If you earn a good grade in her class, you truly worked for it. Her teaching style helps you absorb the material, and I learned a lot. One of the best courses I took this semester!
Taking her class was amazing! The workload was light, and she provides extensions and support. The readings are manageable as she reviews them in class. She uses pen and paper, but it helps with speech writing. Her rubric is simple, and she's understanding if you miss a class if students complain it's bc they're not doing their hw. Great prof!
Horrible, do not take if you dont put in your best work each time her grading is horrible never again
Not a good instructor and treats this class like an English class. Way too tough and I would not take again! Too many readings. The speeches should be fun and not so hard.
Not an easy class Tough grading Lots of homework If you want a chill class this class isn't for you If you want a challenge then this class is for you. It depends on what you seek
I felt this class did not help me face my fear of speaking. I felt this class caused me more anxiety and I did not like it The instructor and instructions were too much for a class in communication. I feel like I could have done better if I felt more at ease. Not easy. Too much reading for me.
I liked the class and professor D. There are 3 speeches and they are timed which was tough. Practicing online with pitchantage helped though.
Dana made the class fun! She is a very passionate but serious instructor. I definitely improved over the semester thanks to the feedback she gave.
Get ready to read not an easy class! Was boring and I did not enjoy how hard the speeches were
Four speeches and not three. Since we have to do introductions and it's very nervous. The instructions are very hard to understand and I felt overwhelmed by the level of reading we had to do. Not my best experience
Hard online class! I would not take this again! This online canvas portal is so hard! She gives too many readings and then in class when we meet she expects everyone to participate. Not easy
Way too hard! Too much readings and too much as Dana gives way too much
Not an easy class and it should not even be this hard to pass a cop class The feedback is so harsh and doesn't even assist to guide us to do better. Just gives feedback with no guidance
Never take this class! Too many readings and quizzes too .. I don't get why quizzes when other professors don't even do that
10/10 recommend. Professor DeMercurio Is tough but fair. You can tell she's really passionate about her subject matter. She's funny in her lectures, but she also does a really good job of making the students use their critical thinking skills. She clearly lays out everything that is needed for a good grade, but she does hold students accountable.
Way too hard. Too many readings. And too much writing
Very hard, many readings, and too hard of grading scale. I would not recommend
Too hard as gives way too much information and I felt overwhelmed Not easy and only passed with a c due to extra credit things
Many quizzes Many readings And I did not like her style of grading but that's just me. I would've liked more positive feedback. It would made the experience much better
Clear criteria and 3 total speeches. Good class for new students and kind teacher!
This class is challenging, with a few quizzes that are based on all the readings. If you don't complete the readings, which are extensive, it will cost you the grade you want. The speeches are hard because the rubric is complex, and I wish it had been simpler to understand.
The class was okay, but not my cup of Tea. She has three speeches, and I felt it was too much. By 'too much,' I mean the rubric and the timeframe we have to complete the assignment. She is not an easy instructor, but it is college. I would not retake it, as I felt she was not my type, but that was just too much for a com class
Many videos online canvas, the readings are for the quizzes and if you don't read them ( you won't do good) 3 speeches and the speech is in essay format and you get docked for the following the rubric a lot of feedback but I would've like positive feedback too and not just the bad. So that I could feel better and not have too much anxiety
This teacher is very confusing. She grades very late and her rubrics are very unclear. It seems like she expects perfection instead of wanting to teach and help students grow. Take any other professor.
Professor DeMercurio is very straight forward and tells you what she wants from beginning to end. The information she provides is self explanatory. She gives you due dates and if you turn your assignment in late, there will be a deduction in your grade.
She is extremely particular with how she wants outlines set up for your speeches. Her feedback is harsh and she comes off as rude.
This class is a requirement for me, so I had no choice but to take it. This teacher has three presentation speeches, which are not so hard, but they are about public speaking and have to be precise. I am taking this class in the summer, so I can't say if it's moving too fast or too slow. Has got to be the toughest teacher I have had with grading.
Extremely harsh grader, ridiculously tough class. Since this a required class, I would highly advise you take someone else's public speaking class. This professor is awful and her class is way too hard for what it is. Avoid her at all costs.
Professor DeMercurio is a very supportive and kind professor! She wants you to succeed and will give you the resources and advice you need. It can be challenging, but at the same time, fun and rewarding!
Professor Demercurio is a very sweet professor who cares for the success of the people in her class. Sure, she assigns a lot of work that is time-consuming, but again, I took this class during the summer and all of the modules were crammed into two months. So, it wasn't that bad. Lastly, she offers feedback that helps students to improve.
She is very helpful and gives everything required clearly. Although she is a tough grader, she offers a lot of extra credit.
Prf. DeMercurio has a great teaching style, and you will learn much in this class. There are several opportunities to gain extra credit. Make sure to read every instruction clearly and don't procrastinate the work. It's also important to watch all of the lecture videos and view example outlines. Be prepared for a heavy workload in the summer class!
There is a lot to read and if college is still new to you. Make sure you're ready for it. She gives extra credit but we have to perform in an event to get those points and that causes me stress. I couldn't go to the event due to work. And it's not fair that it's offered when most of us work. There is a lot of videos . Overall felt too much
I did not like this class. Especially when giving extra credit it's only on one event. And not all of us can make it and that was not fair! It's true a lot of reading and that was not my thing but I get we need it.
If I could take this class again. I would but with someone else. Anyone else. The format of the work wasn't easy for me and the modules weren't easy to understand. I felt lost and I don't like that feeling. I felt like I couldn't ask for help. The speeches aren't hard but for someone like me I felt overwhelmed by it.
Things I liked about this class was all the feedback the teacher left on assignments. But the summer class was alot of work in 6 weeks. I wish I had taken it during a regular time of year. Finding adience members was the hard part.
Just awful. Not encouraging for someone who struggles with public speaking. Meticulous. Avoid if you can.
Took her for Interpersonal Communication and it was honestly a class that I enjoyed. The homework she gives is pretty straightforward and the projects she give are pretty engaging. She does assignments where you have to go outside and observe people on how they communicate with one another, very good way to connect what we learn to the real world.
I did not like this class at all! The level of expectations is beyond!! She expects us to be experts on this topic and that is not cool. Not the vibe I want! Rude. Not welcoming at all! Avoid!
I felt humiliated giving speeches in her class.
If you take her be sure to read the instructions. She can be intense with expectations and assignments but overall helpful on the outlines and speeches with feedback to earn a better grade. There are only 3 speeches.
If this is your first class at delta college for communication or any other communication class. Run!! Don't take! I felt dumb and felt she didn't care about us. Too much feedback that contradicts itself. And we are expected to know things as if we've been doing it all so long! I would take anyone else. Never again
STAY FAR AWAY, especially online. Don't say I didn't warn you. Out of all the teachers I have had online and in person, having Professor DeMercurio as an instructor has been the most stressful and disheartening experience. She provides VERY little constructive feedback and her grading is completely unforgiving, especially for an intro GE class.
I found her to be funny, caring and although tough she is fair. The extra credit she offers is more than my other classes so thats nice too. I think she pushes students to do good and then they do good.
