Krider was a great teacher. She was clear, friendly, understanding, approachable, and relatable. She was actually interested in having her students learn. I highly recommend her!

Mrs. Krider's class was great. No anxiety with her. If you go to every class and actually pay attention, that's 85% of the class right there.(That's not how she grades, but my own figure on how easy she makes her class) and yes you learn alot! I recommend to take this class with one you know will be hard, to lower your stress level.

She's very smart and knows her stuff. She really made the class interesting. Actively listen in class, take notes and you'll do fine. Read the full chapters and you'll do great. She really wants her students to succeed.

Dr. Krider is very nice, fun teacher. Attendance is mandatory, but she usually gives the first one as a freebie. She incorporates fun homework assignments, but do study because her exams are from lecture notes and the book. She is also always there for you if needed.

Ms. Krider is an extraordinary professor. I didn't miss ONE class because it's a class you WANT to go to. She has humor and students engage in fun discussions and activities which heavily reflect the material. Her tests are easy and you have to write a couple of response essays. As long as you write a heartfelt response- you're getting pure 10's!

Professor Krider is excellent. Passionate about Psych and happy to explain things with you after class if you don't understanding. There is a lot of studying, but you learn a lot of cool stuff. I had this class from 4-7 on Thursdays and I looked forward to it every week, it was my favorite class. Lots of cool discussion too! Excellent class!

I love this class! besides the group presentations, that is. If you get nervous like me and hate being in front of the class then the group presentations will be your only trouble. other than that, she is great and the quiz's and tests arent bad at all.

Tests and quizzes cover a lot of material so it's kind of a hard class. Expect to work hard. Not a class to kick back and have "psych" discussions

Mrs. Krider's teaching style was understandable and clear. She had 4 exams, 6 quizzes and 5 group presentations. She dropped the lowest exam and quiz. Our class always had great discussions, and Mrs. Krider was engaged in all of them. You do need the book, as it helps you for the exams, quizzes and group presentations. I recommend Mrs. Krider!

what can I say, even a international student like me feel easy. exams and quiz are multiple choice. 2 papers, 2 extra credit writing. 5 group presentations. and she follows text perfectly. only trick is, get into a great group in the beginning and you will be fine.

Professor Krider really cares for every student in her class and makes sure that everyone has a clear understanding of the material she teaches. 6 quizzes, 3 midterms, both of which she drops the lowest score. In general, putting in a few hours before the tests should be enough to at least get you a B+. Easy and interesting class!

You have to take 3 midterms, which she drops the lowest score. You take 6 quizzes with lowest dropped. I loved her class. It's not your basic critical thinking class. Way better than that. Fun class, multiple choice tests, gives study guide for mid terms. Super easy grader, really nice teacher, interesting lectures. Show up for a group project: Full points. As long as you read the book and do well on the tests, easy A. There is a 4-5 page term paper towards the end of the semester, but its easy.

If you actually want a teacher who cares or gives a hollering hoot about you in college she is the one to take. Passed with a B. 4 tests. drops the lowest . 7 quizzes drops the lowest. 2 extra credits DO THEM! Shes honestly the nicest most caring college professor I've ever had.

She's really pleasant and welcoming, has a good sense of humor, and will help you out as much as possible. She seems to really care about helping you get the best grade possible, especially if you find yourself struggling or behind with homework. She isn't harsh but she does distribute grades fairly and according to what you earn, which I like.

Be prepared to take notes, yet the notes are a major key to learning. She's super chill, and professional at the same time. Highly recommended

You would need 1 book for the class, 4 midterms, 4 group projects (pretty easy), she doesnt give out homework (once in while she will ask to find 4-5 terms), the class is really interesting and I have never seen anyone fall asleep. It's psychology so she tells a lot of stories. If you're phsych major I defiantly recommend her.

A great teacher all-around. She is very understanding and very straightforward with what will be on the tests and directions for assignments. Lectures are very interesting for the most part and she does take attendance every day so its important to go! She is very understanding and willing to work with students when they need help.

Prof. Krider is awesome! As long as you attend class regularly, (go ahead and miss a couple, I know I did) take notes, and do your work, you will pass the class with the grade you truly worked for. She's the best teacher I've had at DVC thus far. Very helpful and nice. Non-cumulative final, which I just took today. I will miss her and the class!

Great lectures & outline. Record the lectures if you are not a fast note taker. I rarely read the book and got A just from my DETAILED NOTES. 1 paper & 1 group research which were very easy. She cares about students and knows psychology. I only wish she taught more psych classes.

Krider is rad, gives great feedback on ideas and able to give answers not specifically pertaining to the text. Tests aren't explicitly hard but one should deffinetly read/study. Term paper is a great learning opportunity for psych majors. visual organization is lackluster, hard to follow her written outlines. Great for auditory learners!

She was an amazing teacher. Very helpful if you went to her during class and outside of class. She was really passionate about the subject which made her lectures all the more interesting. VERY EASY GRADER. You get two major projects throughout the semester and she will almost always give you an A. I would definitely take her course again.

Truly an amazing Professor! I am never bored or sleepy. She goes through chapters fast and thoroughly. Rarely give out homework, but give pop quizzes every week, so study up! Major key to pass is that Midterm paper!! very important and worth A LOT of points. Also the presentation is a piece of cake! Definitely would take this class again.

I loved Professor Krider! She was amazing. Her lectures were never boring, and you definitely learned a lot. Her quizzes are on almost every chapter, and are never really "pop quizzes". The quizzes are based on the reading and the reading only. You can also skip a couple of classes, and it won't be a big deal.

Mrs. Krider is very knowledgeable and has a great way of shaping her class around multiple learning styles, so if you put the work in, it's possible to get a good grade, even if one aspect of the class is difficult. She is the best teacher I have ever been taught by. She is so helpful and she makes her lectures super relatable so you can apply it to your own life or empathize with the material. She is so inspirational and is by far my favorite teacher I have ever had. She isnt one to make you look at the clock every 5 min to see when class is over

She has it together; she is very clear with what she wants. The only real hw I did was studying for "pop" quizzes (she usually hints at them) or exams. Her study guides which she always provides are basically like the test. Very kind and knows her stuff. Very clear lectures that are not very long.

3 tests, 2 papers, 1 group project and 6 quizzes but the lowest quiz score gets dropped. If you make an honest effort on your reaction papers and group project she will give you full points on it. You NEED to look at the exam review before tests or you will not know what to study! Easy grader and lots of opportunities for XC.

I changed my psych professor last minute to Krider and it definitely was an amazing choice. She is incredibly kind and cares about each students success and involvement in the class. There are pop quizzes that can be tricky, but she drops the lowest score. Definitely take her if you have the chance.

At first i thought it would be a hard class but if you keep up with the reading its super easy. She lets you use flash cards for test and her study guides almost resemble exams. Few in class assignments that you cant make up but super fun laid backish class 10/10

Dana is the best! Super nice, easy to understand, & sets up the class so you succeed. Talk to her if you ever have trouble & she'll understand. A fun class to look forward to, just make sure to skim through the book once a week to prepare for the fairly easy pop quizzes. Wont go in depth to psychology, but I highly recommend her for any class.

This is my first time taking a psych course and I don't know much about psych before. Prof Krider let me learned many useful and interesting psych knowledge. She is knowledgeable. Our three exams are originally all MCQs, but when we changed to online class, the exams became five essay questions. Yet as long as you tried hard, you will def get an A.

Personally I have found a love for Psychology, and that being said I was interested to take a Psychology class. In my opinion, she was a easy teacher! the only problem was given COVID there were barely any zooms and found myself emailing her a lot. None of her zooms were mandatory but she barely had any, and never replied to emails.

Meetings are not mandatory, but it was short and friendly. Prof Busche really do read your assignments. I mentioned being anxious if I don't submit work early on one of the hw, and she remembered it on a meeting. She's very caring and considerate. The only heavy task was 2 response paper, but as long as you watch the film, no prob. Easy A.

took during remote learning, super easy for me. assignments not every week and could be done quickly. minimal effort and youll be fine. watched videos some weeks. no lectures. also very nice professor; i messed up an assignment, and they notified me and let me redo it with no docked points! plus i actually learned in this class! really enjoyed!

This is one of the easiest professors I've ever had. All the tests are online on quizlet and you get three tries, unlimited time. One assignment per week that just asks you basic questions from the reading (don't need to read, can find the answer by skimming). No essays ever. Will give you extensions if you ask. Easiest A I've ever received.

Easy A but I regret taking this class for my major. While the class was incredibly interesting it was hard to teach myself since everything was too easy. If you want an easy A 100% take her, workload is light and easy, no midterms and I think no final. No papers or projects either. But if youre a psych major wanting to learn, take someone else.

Professor Busche is the sweetest most understanding professor. She is approachable and very knowledgeable about what she is teaching. There are 3 papers, 5 assignments, and 5 quizzes which is super manageable. She is funny and cares about connecting with her class, learning everyone's names, and is warm and welcoming. 100% would take it again.

Prof Busche is a good professor. She is very nice and makes the class very doable. I had a good time in this class. You write 3 argumentative research papers and have some quizzes and assignments. The only reason I have a 4/5 is because it was a little difficult to get a response to emails but otherwise this was a good class.

I only had three papers to write and she was a very easy grader on those. There weren't many assignments in Critical Thinking and Psychology, and I would recommend every one to take it. It was an easy A. She is also very kind and understanding and gave me multiple extensions on my assignments. It is clear she wants to take care of her students.

I really enjoyed this class! In the syllabus she maps out the assignments. Not much homework, your grade is based off of 5 assignments, 3 papers, and a few quizzes. She had very informative lectures and is a caring professor, I recommend taking her class especially if you are interested in psychology!

Professor Dana Krider Busche was a nice and caring professor. She allows late work for up to a week. If you explain your circumstances to her, she will sometimes give you more than a week to do missed assignments. However, the professor is slow to respond to emails. If you email her twice, you will most likely hear back. Overall, she is wonderful.

Super easy and interesting class. Small assignment(usually a discussion) a week where you get to talk about yourself. Couple small papers but nothing you can't get done in an hour max. Def recommend this class!

Literally the easiest ever! One or two assignments max a week, and sometimes all our hw was to just read a chapter. A few papers but they're pretty easy and she grades very lenient. Quizzes are short around 10 questions. Highly recommend.

Really great teacher! I enjoyed her class, I am thankful that the workload wasn't too bad! She provided a few educational documentaries that went along with the chapter. There were a few response essays, but it wasn't bad at all :) I would definitely take her class again!

Textbook required but she doesn't mind how you acquire it. She's super wholesome and classes are pretty fun and engaging. She only grades on quizes and 2 paper's in the semester with no final. The quizes can easily be done as long as you study the stuff she writes on board and studying the module objectives.
