I must concure with the others. If you just want the credit, take this class. If you actually want to learn something, find a better professor. Easy class to take if you are overloaded on hours. You won't even feel this class, takes maybe an hour to read and another hour to do the assignments so not alot of stress from this class at all. :)

I took her internt class and it was great she doesnt have you do the class online meetings which take up so much time in other classes. The work is easy mostly definitions in the chapters she selects if you have the book it is an easy "A" in the class, I learned and it was a brezze. She is a very nice and understanding person.

I really liked Ms. Morales'distance learning class. She was helpful, and very clear about what assignments were do and what was required. Highly recommended.

Well...easy class, but she was quite boring. Lectures - very few discussions - sweet lady, just realize it's going to be easy (which is a good thing most of the time) and it's going to be a bit boring.

This teacher was awesome! I took this class on-line and it was great. She gives questions weekly to answer based on you readings and they are not tricky. she gives multiple choice test with one short essay. It was my first time taking her, but I will being taking her for my GOVT 2301 also.

She is an awsome teacher I took her for both of my govt. classes DL and it was so easy. She gives you 2 questions a week and they arnt that hard at all. The tests can be kind of tricky but if you do the essay question thats 50% of the test. You also get points for doing the discussion.

Easy Easy Easy! The questions on the exams are very easy and she puts one of the essay questions on the review sheet that will be on the exam! You have to go to class because 20% of the final grade is daily work. It was a great class.

Great teacher for online classes. She lays out in the syllabus exactly what she expects from you and doesn't change it around or leave you hanging. She grades quickly and responds to emails quickly. She doesn't influence the discussions through her opinions, I still have no idea where she stands politically, that is good.

Used for Summer DL and was very pleased. Reading required, but tests are quite easy. Gives 2 assignments a week but counts as a good deal of your grade.Would highly recommend for Gov 1 and 2. Doesn't interject her political views and doesn't really care about yours either-great! A great get-it-over class.

I took this class on-line and class was not difficult. There are two easy but time consuming assignemnts due per week. Total of 3 exams; each includes 1 essay question but final has 2 essay questions. I did feel that her greading scale was a bit tough. She awards a 95 for comeplete work. Must go over and above for 98 or 100.

EASY online class. Take her if you want an A. Grades easily, and as long as you put something, you'll pass. It is my opinion that she doesn't really read the one discussion and one assignment you must complete a week, and just gives an A. GREAT class.

She is very helpful, i took a 3wk wintermester, it took about 2 to 3 hrs every night to do the homework which was due the next morning. She tells you exactly what she wants so your not confused. It is a time consuming class, but well worth it. Ended up getting a B!

Not bad, took it online. Gives long assignments twice a week week (1 to 1.5 hr). Test are straightforward, read and study the book along with the terms. Got an A, and taking 2302 from her this fall, so I would recommend.

She is such a great online teacher! I took her and as long as you put forth even a little effort you will do well. She answers emails very quickly and is very polite. You have a discussion and 4 questions per week that will take about an hour or so. Easy.

Took her for an online 2301 mini mester course. She is very clear on assignments and very god at responding to emails quickly. Also she didn't give that much work so that was a plus! I highly recommend this teacher to anyone!

Ms Morales' online class was great. She posts assignments monday morning and they are due on Sunday by midnight! Discussion boards were interesting, fun and easy. Tests are straight from the book. No reason not to get an A if you just do the reading! She is very quick to respond to questions/emails and is very professional and polite. Recommend!

I am taking her for Gov. 2302, Ive read over the other reviews, and all pretty accurate. The only thing different, test for 2302 are a little more difficult. She responds to emails ext. quick! something ive noticed, she will help you keep your grade an A. Gov. 2302 is mroe difficult than gov. 2301

I took this class during the summer and I must say it went great. Government had never been my favorite course but I did enjoy the discussion boards. There were alot of work but it is expected for a 5 week summer course. I still manage to work full time and take another class. Tests were open book but i did well just with her powerpoints.

Just finished the summer session with an A! Very easy class, professor is very clear on her instructions. The assignments are due on Monday & Thursday @ 8AM so that is a fair amount of time to get your work done considering the assignments are 4-5 questions only. Highly recommended!!

Great! Took online 2302 Fall11. Weekly assignments with plenty of time to do. Most weeks have an additional discussion question. Is timely with grades and email responses. Grades fairly. Pleasant to deal with. Agree on study guide - fairly useless. But if you read thoroughly, you'll do fine on the tests. Highly recommended. Easy A.

She is so boring! I fell asleep in that class, which is something i never do, she talks the whole time, with an occasional movie she shows you. You might as well take the class online. She also only has three test, which sounds great but it really isn't bc if you fail one you're kind of screwed the rest of the semester. But overall she is nice.

Online. I recommend it as an online class! Weekly discussion with no responses and gives good test reviews except for the last one for some reason. You will have to look up definitions/info on the reviews. Would definitely take again.

Good teacher & class. Just try not to have a death in your family or a crisis cause in order for her to keep the integrity of her grading she will not bump you a miserable point. Due to my GPA dropping, I lost my honors Scholarship. I was less than 2 point of getting an A. Good thing the only person compromised was the student and not the teacher.

This was my first online course to take and i was actually really scared, but it all changed after thanking Dana. She always left me feedback and will respond to my emails. I wouldn't mind taking her for Texas Government.

Dana Morales' online government class is amazing. Answer 3 textbook questions and post a discussion per day, and that's it! Only three exams, (and an easy A if you get the eBook). She quickly answered emails, was fast at grading, and the online work was simple and efficient. I truly learned from her; her course was perfect for me. Highly recommend!

Great professor! A discussion question and quiz every week and three tests including the final. As long as you read the chapters you will be set! I wish she taught other online classes because the set up was great! Take her if you can, you won't regret it!!!

The tests are all essays so if you want a blow off class then don't take this class! The quizzes are super easy! Discussions are graded by completion only so don't waste your time of writing good ones! And she's not the easiest grader ever so be prepared to write some awesome essay answers!

I took this class online as a mini-mester. You have an assignment every day, along with a discussion and then a test every weekend. Only 3 tests, including the final, they are essay questions. If you take this class, make sure you log onto D2L every day! She is a great teacher, and when you email her she replies quickly! I am so glad I took her.

I took her online minimester and it was fairly easy. She responds to emails quickly and follows the syllabus. For a 3 week mini, you'll have reading/ assignments Monday- Thursday and a test on Friday. All the tests and assignments are essay format. It's not a bad class to take as an online minister and I would recommend getting credit this way.

MinuteGovernment videos very poor and boring, no interaction with other students, very slow to respond and grades 2-3 weeks behind so you are turing in 2-3 additional assignments before you see previous work in normal Fall term. Laid out for on campus class. Very poor online course: take on campus. Lots of boring, tedious, reading and writing.

If you don't like writing don't take this class. Three essays are due every week plus a discussion post. Takes a week or two to get grades back. You have to be able to teach yourself it's just mostly reading and writing.

I took this class online and every week there was a discussion (no replies to other students required) and a quiz, except for 2 of the 16 weeks were the weekly quiz was replaced by a 300 word essay. There are three timed test, which consist of 35 multiple choice questions and an essay.

I took this class online for Summer 1 & loved it. This professor & class is very consistent & the course work on d2l is so organized. Every week we had 2 chapters to read that were followed by a discussion post and a written assignment or a quiz. There were 2 tests & a final that consisted of 3 questions that had to be answered in 300 words each.

This was a fully online course. She is extremely easy. You have two assignments per week. Usually 3 question short answer at the beginning of the week and a quiz at the end of the week. Two tests and the Final. All 3 questions. Short answers, usually about 350 word minimum. If you put in any effort you will pass.

She's great at explaining the text. Basically she goes over the chapters as power points in class but reading the book will get you a good grade. The grading rubric for tests is very clear. It's usually an Essay (50 pts), 5 short answer (25 pts), and 25 multiple choice (25 pts). It is very easy to pass the tests if you understand the chapters.

I took govt 2305 online during a fall semester. Each week there is a discussion and you answer a couple questions, usually with a minimum of 300 words. The questions are very general so it's not too hard. She grades very well and replies fast. I highly recomend the text book for the questions. I recieved an A and signed up for her next class.

I took this online course for a 3wk minimester and she doesn't allow you to work ahead. She's slow and can be tough when it comes to grading work. The book is HIGHLY required. She's big on essay questions. There are 2hr quizzes, 2hr essay assignments, but the tests are 1hr 35 questions including an essay question.

I took this as a mini and I expected it would be hard class. I read what others had said about her, and I figured it would be a mildly difficult class. Nope! She grades so hard, and everyday there was a quiz that you only had 30 mins to take, and then a 6 questions short answer with 200 words EACH! She gives practically no grading criteria.

Prof. Morales is not a hard teacher at all and neither is her class. She lectures the whole class period. Only 2 tests & the final. Not a heavy work load at all. Tests were about 30 questions, and essay, and 5 short answers. Easiest class I've ever taken, attendance is definitely not mandatory.

My overall impression is that I probably would have failed this class if it were not for the fact that I could look up 75% of the MC quest on quizlet. It is impossible to read 40 page textbook chapters and recall specific answers to multiple choice questions without a study guide. You need at least 3hrs per day to pass her 3wk minimester class.

Took her honors class. Not a lot of lecture, mostly discussions so had to teach ourselves which sucked. She's nice but forgets to grade stuff and doesn't really pay attention to what you write - I got a comment for forgetting something I specifically explained in an entire paragraph. 2 tests+final and weekly writing assignments, mostly not too bad.

I would highly recommend taking her online class. Clear criteria and consistent work which is easy as long as you have the textbook.

Professor Morales knows what she is talking about, she has a lot of experience. I took an honors class with her and I was amazed because I thought she would be tough on us like other professors, but that was not the case. She is hilarious and truly cares about her students. The review she gives before each test is extremely important.

This class was simple to handle due to only having two assignments per week. Just read the textbook and you will have all of the information you need.

Took the class as a 3 week minimester. Writing-intensive. Consisted of a few 150-300ish word responses per day with a test at the end of the week. If you keep up with it every day it is an easy A. Doesn't provide much feedback, but seems to be a pretty easy grader.

Mrs. Morales is a nice lady and loves what she teaches. Test are hard; read and do the reviews. Essay on every test (3 total) which she gives different ones to choose from and gives topics in advance. Also, she gives weekly homework assignments that are at least 300 words long. Do the work and you will pass.

I took the online class and it was an easy A. the book is required but she provides power points for every assignment. all assignments are essays (usually 300-400 words) very simple ! just read the chapter and summarize. I managed to get at least an 85 on every assignment including exams.

Her lectures are kinda boring, there's only 3 tests in the whole entire semester (with very few other assignments) so you really have to do well on the tests if you want an A. The lecture she gives are straight on with the textbook, which you can use if you want more explanation.

i took this class online and passed with an A and i must say it was one of the easiest classes ive ever done. She gives a clear description of what is required at the beginning of the semester and gives you almost a week to do each assignment (a paper) there is A LOT of writing. Easiest class I've taken so far at LoneStar! I loved taking this class with professor Morales, she is clear with what she wants and how she wants it. If you try you will pass, 2 exams and a final exam and weekly "journal" type assignments! Would definitely recommend taking her for government!

You need the textbook! I got a $2 pdf version on ebay. The class itself is fairly easy, it's just very frustrating how long it took her to grade assignments.

All these reviews have to be for online. I agree that her online stuff is easy, but the tests are extremely difficult, with a curve on the first one. Doesnt help much when someone made a 95. She also takes forever to grade things. Otherwise, her papers are fairly easy, just dont take this one in class.

75% of your grade is 3 very difficult tests, each with a 30 point essay question. The remaining 25% of your grade is a weekly 300-word paper that discusses the chapter. The book is through Pearson online, with chapter quizzes that count for 5 points of extra credit per test. She curves the first test. She will work with you if you need help.

Professor Morales is an amazing professor, you have one weekly assignment each week. The test are easy she posts powerpoints to help as well as gives you a review sheet with terms to know. She's very generous and gives extra credit opportunities. I've had her for GOVT 2305 and 2306!

I just hated that she loved multiple choice so much on her exams and was always off the book. But to be honest other than that she was great! The class was fun! She teaches very well too!

Easy A for sure, I took the 6-week online course. Unlike other professors, she didn't really interact with the class but it was a super easy class where you could find all quizzes on Quizlet.

Very laid back and is chill with letting you turn in things late. If you need help you can ask her and she will be glad to help. Tests are super easy with one or two homework assignments due every week but super quick and easy to do. This class let me focus on other more difficult classes because it was not difficult at all. Highly recommend.

I love Professor Morales she is super nice and has great lectures !The textbook "We the people" 12th edition is required and there are chapter quizzes each week. My section number had Webex lectures every Tuesday for 1hr. 20mins. You will take 3 exams but they correlate with the textbook and she gives great study guides.

Very organized, but very hands-off professor. Everything is laid out nicely, easy to pace yourself, and several super easy mini quizzes where she provides graphs and videos for you and the questions are from referencing the charts. There are also unit exams but all work in this class is open book so if I couldn't remember, a quick search helped!

Great educator. She lays out a clear syllabus and sticks with it. She is hands-off but will respond to emails. She checked in some to give us updates, but you just work the timeline she laid out. Interesting subject and glad not to have professor's political opinion for once. I would take any class she offers!

This class is really easy, just do the work! Professor Morales is really hands-off, but responds to emails very quickly. She reminds you of exams and quizzes, so it is on you for failing those. My only issue is that the textbook and some quizzes were politically slanted, but definitely not as bad as other classes. Overall it was a good class!

Professor Morales gives quizlets on each chapter reading. 20-25 questions each. Mostly based off definitions within each chapter. Read the chapter and knock out the quizlet. These quizlets are worth 25% of grade. 3 tests throughout the semester. Each worth 25% overall. 35 multiple choice, 1 short answer. Easy class to pass! Highly recommend

I took 2 summer classes online with morales & each I received an A I think the lowkey score I received was maybe an 87% on a test and that was just me being careless there is plenty of time provided while testing (EVERYTHING is on quizlet) I never used my textbook unless if was for my written response just for some guidance on how/what I wrote.

Professor is so understanding. She has due dates, but is very loose with them and will take whatever you have so far. There is never homework, but the textbook is necessary to pass the tests. She really just wants us to succeed, and gives extra opportunities to do so.

Very easy A, chapters are extra short and quizzes on chapters are very easy. Every week you will have assignments but they only took me 30min. to complete. Do the work and you will pass. No heavy reading, no heavy workload just simple and doable work.

Each week you have homework that is done through the Pearson ebook. Typically I was able to finish the weekly homework in just a day; it's that easy. The tests were a bit tricky (but quizlet exists) and sometimes the essay prompts before an exam she gives you may not be on the test, which is inconsiderate and annoying. Overall, pretty easy class.

Professor Morales class is a really good class. She made it clear from the beginning what she expected. The test were fairly straight forward, all tests were around 30 some odd questions with 1 essay question. GREAT review sheets she gives out before the test, if you know the review you will ACE the test.

Took her hyrbid course.Weekly inquisitives that are easy 100. 3 open note exams that are worth alot. Study guide provides 75% of what you need to know for exam. To get higher than a B on exam you need to actually read the textbook and or pay attention to class.

I took her GOVT 2301 @ San Jac. Class is very easy, all the assignements are on Inquisitive, you have 2 exams, signature assignment, and a final and thats it. IT IS SUPER EASY!!! Honestly, i've never had such an easy class, i dread GOVT tbh but her class is worth taking and you get an easy passing grade just do the work.

This class was a breeze. I took her in person class and it was great. Attendance was not mandatory, and even if you missed over half the class she said she would be very lenient. It was a great experience, the assignments were simple, and she provided study guides for all three exams. Open notes, even for the final!

She's not bad as a professor, but my first class she said variations of 'umm' over 300 times. In the most recent class it was over 400. If you don't have a problem with that then I recommend this class but if it's hard for you to fucus with the pauses don't. It's been a little difficult for me to focus, that's why I started counting the umms.

Lectures were the exact same as weekly reading. Had weekly "thought papers" (250 words) though gave us some off weeks. Very understanding and forthcoming with advice for honors paper. Always recommend.

This professor just gets it. She makes sure you do your coursework, keeps you on track, and understands not everyone wants to be as politician. She made the class easy and doable for those who aren't that interested in Gov, but still makes it easy to learn whether you try to or not. Learned so much about Texas in this class. Very Nice

Professor Morales is great! Her lectures are super fun & interesting. She also takes time to answer any questions during her lectures. Prof. Morales is super chill and is accessible outside of class to help with your research paper. We had, almost, weekly 200+ thought papers over each textbook chapter, 2 exams, & a noncommutative final. Lax grader!

Tests are 75% of the grade, which is a lot. They are 70% multiple choice and 30% essay, however you get the prompts before hand. There's no way not to get a 100 on the homework (25% of the grade). For the tests, MAKE SURE TO REVIEW HER OUTLINES. Write your essays beforehand, and write all 3 options for the final.

This class was BY FAR the easiest class I have ever taken. I took the 3 week summer class. You do have to purchase the textbook in order to get an inquisitive account, which is where all the homework are, but I am pretty sure that is normal. There are so many quilts online to help you study. only 3 tests including the final. no essays or anything.

She was very nice and seemed like she cared about our grade and our education. I took the online summer class and there was only 3 tests and some homework quizzes, but she gives test reviews. If you take her no need to worry too hard it is not too difficult as long as you study before the tests.

Dana Morales was a very easy grader. I took her summer government class so she was very lenient on grades being due. There is a textbook that is recommended to read but as long as you listen to her lectures the class is an easy A. Her reviews are really helpful as well!

Super easy class. She engages with the class and is open to debate current news and events, also tries to connect the material in class to real life events. Super easy to pass the class, just do the inquizitives and and do good on tests (she allows one page of handwritten notes)

Dr. Morales' class was fire! So much fun, I actually learned a ton about Texas government. She's super chill and grades super fast, which is a major plus. Definitely recommend taking her class if you need to fulfill your government requirement.

I took this class as a winter minimester. (3) Tests make up 75% of the grade and InQuizitives make up the other 25%. Every test has an essay response, where you pick from 3 prompts. She provides 3 sample essay questions on the reviews; for 2/3 tests, all samples were on the test. You can make it through the class with just a trial of the textbook.

Very caring vibe to her lectures and always up to date with the news which was brought up and used as examples in lecture. Homework was on inquizitive, and was very understanding to all students.

I took this class during the spring 25 sem. Very easy hw comes from the inquisitive. She uploads the tests review and the 3 frqs you can choose from for the tests. The definitions come from the textbook so look out for that!
