She is so awesome!! She teaches from powerpoints and doesn't just race through lecture. She takes her time and makes sure you understand. She really enjoys the subject and she makes it easy to enjoy.

Requires some effort for an A. Always gets the point across, but seems biased towards gays and blacks. I learn best from lectures instead of reading, and most of the test comes from her speaking. She does require that you read the book because there are 16 multiple choice terms on each test. She'll drop your lowest test grade as well.

I love this class. She is very engaging and gets you passionate. Drops lowest test grade and tests are over book terms and in class discussion, so you need to go to class and get the book. SheGrading is a bit weird - not average of grades, just points that accumulate to 100. I want to take more of her classes - fantastic teacher! And she is hot!

Ms. Wiggins is really cool! Her lectures are very interesting and she teaches well. As long as you study and take notes you will make a good grade. I finished with an A. She had different political views as me, but she does not force anything on you. She was a very fun and cute person and I really enjoyed coming to her class!

She is a very organized person. Also, she is fair, and clear about grades. Some people probably don't get A in her class, but it is not her fault. If you go to her class and do homework, you easily get A on her tests. You have to read the text book and take notes to get A.

She was really funny and made the topics interesting. Part of her tests are multiple choice straight from the vocab in the book and the other part are short essays.

Took class online. Dr. Wiggins is great. 4 essays and some quizzes and class discussions. Final is cumulative. Take her you will not be sorry she really gets involved with the online students.

This class is an easy A as long as you got to class, read the chapters, and learn the bold words in the text. Miss Wiggins is so nice too.

Dr. Dana simply the BEST TEACHER EVER! I hated history and now I LOVE it! She knows how to make the information interesting and has a passion for history. Loved her and going to her class. There are 4 tests(one is dropped) + the final. There are also about 4-5 written assignments not hard at all. Please please take her. Got an "A" in her class.

Hands down Dr. Wiggins is the best history teacher I have ever had. I wish I could take more of her classes. She makes the lecture fun, and if you've read the book and taken good lecture notes the tests are fine. No major papers either, just essays thru the semester+she drops one test grade. Dr. Wiggins is probably the best history teacher I have ever had. Do your homework, the reading assignments, attend class and study... and you will get a good grade. I wish her class was longer. And it doesn't hurt that she is insanely attractive. It's my first semester at gpc and her class alone made it worth my money.

LOVE Ms. Wiggins! I have never enjoyed History, but she made every bit of it fun. Her assignments are straight forward and she's not picky, and her tests are straight forward too. You only need the book for chronology, so borrow one instead of buying it. The rest of the test is from lecture so attend class. She is funny too! Love her stories.

Prof. Wiggins is awesome! History is not my best subject yet I used to count the hours to go to her class. Her tests are pretty easy the first test is the hardest and then from the second test to the last, keeps getting easy. For the tests, for the multiples choice study the terms in the book. For fill in the blank, study lecture notes!

She was the best history teacher I ever had. That was three years ago, this is long overdue. I wish she well and happy.

I took this at the Dunwoody Campus, and loved the class. I hate history, but Dr. Wiggins made it so interesting. Her lectures and reading the books chronology get you A's on tests. Dr. Wiggins class is the type of class where if you attend every week, and keep up with the topics discussed in class, an A is easily obtainable. in class discussionslectures are often funny, interesting and very informative. Test are easy as long as you review study material and info from class discussions. Attendance is a must (participation)

Dr. Wiggins is the coolest, most awesome, and fantastic that I have ever met. She is easy going. You only need to do things that she explains on icollege, you can get A easily. Only 4 tests and participation grade. You only to listen and work on the in class lecture. If you struggle, you can always ask her anything and she would definitely help ya!

Dr. Wiggins is a fantastic professor! She drops one test and she gives study guides. Very interesting class lectures about social structures and how history shaped them.

In a time when most teachers can't be bothered. Dr. Wiggins takes the time to impart real knowledge and understanding to people that aren't nearly as excited by history as she is. Her approach forces students to do work outside the classroom, but also sets them up for success in the class. She will make you laugh, but she will make work.

You will have to write some papers but she's an easy greater. Her test come half from your notes and half from the book chronology. You wont have memorize specific dates. TAKE HER class!! Here is the deal with Dr. Dana, she is really amazing, smart and caring. You have to attend her class and take the lecture notes for the exam. she is really simple and fun. Remember though take notes or copy the notes from a classmate or else you end up getting less than C. I love Dr. Dana she was really smart,friendly and beautifull.

Heavy lecture. You have to take notes every single class to do good on the test as well as final. She is an easy grader, also gives extra credit. You will feel overwhelmed at first but after 3 or 4 weeks, it will be fine.

LOVED THIS CLASS! She is so supportive, funny & passionate . We took trips to different museums and went to dinner after! She's amazing and the class is very interesting, you'll learn a lot and it's eye opening. Make sure you take notes because most of the notes are going to be on the test. The study guide is basically the test.

You know from the very beginning what she expects. Her tests are fair. She is also an amazing woman who has a huge heart. Please take her !

She is a great professor. I had her twice a week and 1 day was lecture the other day was an assignment to do online once a week. She does take a while to post your grade but if you dont agree with your grade she will listen and give good feedback. She is definitely on your side and I would take her again if I need too.

Funny history teacher barely any homework only a few simple writing assignments and no annoying quizzes at all! Tests aren't too difficult.

I did not like U.S history before her class, but she made it so enjoyable. I love her lectures and I rarely ever say that. I actually looked forward to hearing them. She is really easy on tests, they are not long, and as long as you study the lecture notes you should be fine.

Professor Wiggins is great! She does her best to engage students in the material. Just be prepared to actually read an entire textbook. There is a LOT of reading and semi-difficult questions on those readings as homework. Keep up with the homework and you'll do fine. You'll learn things about America that they either never taught you or covered up.

I adored classes with Dr Wiggins. Her lectures are super interesting, easy to follow and engaging. She's super nice, approachable, provides study guides for tests (if not you can just ask) & drops the lowest test grade. Lectures are not necessarily mandatory, but around half the questions on each test are based on lectures so go! She's the best!

I took her class as a summer half semester, and it wasn't bad. We were expected to read pretty much the entire textbook, but there were no tests, only writing. We had to write a lot but then again, no exams, tests, or quizzes. Also, a few discussions that were easy.

TAKE HER! One of the best professors. Her content is so easy to follow in lectures. The textbook is provided, and she includes study guides for tests. The tests are the same as the study guide, with one or two questions from her lectures. VERY EASY A IF YOU DO WHAT YOUR SUPPOSED TO DO!!!!
