Not an easy course but she makes it easier. Always there for students. Don't miss class cuz you'll prolly miss something. Tests aren't bad and she has online quizzes that are easy. Does a quickbooks project and as long as you do everything in it you get a 100.

Adams is a very helpful professor. Financial Accounting isn't that easy, it does require some time of studying in order to get the grade you want. She makes a hard subject seem easy. Just go to class, do the problems she assigns, go over your notes, and you'll be alright. Going to her office hours also helps. No reason not to get a B+ or lower.

Mrs. Adams is an amazing professor. There is no possibility that another accounting professor could make acounting more clear. Her exam are very straight forward and she is very helpful if help is needed. Accounting is a very dry subject, but if one attends her classes than the material becomes clear. Must attend class to earn a decent grade.

The subject is very hard, but she trys very hard to get it across as clear as possible and she is always willing to help. I took her class online, which was not a good idea. I've heard that she's a good teacher in class, but I must say she doesn't get the point across in her online sections. We took online tests and weren't able to view the tests afterward, which made it difficult to know where we needed to improve for the cumulative final.

Hard Class, the best teacher for the subject but the class was on T.V., not a good medium for the subject, 2nd time i took the class, still had to drop it even with her as the teacher. if you have to take it take her. i recommend changing your major so you don't have to take it!

She is a terrible instructor for Managerial. She just reads straight from the book and never can explain really what we are learning. Her tests don't match with what we were taught. If you need help, you have to email her. She doesn't live in Gainesville, and when she replies to your email she gives you a half assed answer anyways.

Don't believe any of the negative stuff- they must not be happy with their grade. She is an excellent teacher for financial and managerial -both in class and online.

I am taking her online class during the summer. So far it is ok, but you have to read everything she tells you. She grades by total points not percentage, which is great. There are 7 quizzes and 2 tests, tests at SFC. If you work hard and send her emails you will be fine. Get assignments done early.

She is an awesome teacher and is always willing to help. Extremely quick at answering emails. Take her if you want to do well in Accounting and want to understand it. All the negative comments are ****. She is AWESOME!

Ms. Adams is very pleasant, explains things well, patient, plenty of time to get assignments done. BUT: Her grading system is pretty harsh, I think. Quizzes only 5 questions each, timed for around 13 min. (online class) no homework credit, only source of grades are quizzes and midterm/final.Review for final only 30min. She did offer extra credit.

This teacher is nice, but she talks to students like they're children. I got an A in this class, so I'm not criticizing b/c of the grade I earned. It's a difficult class, and she teaches straight from the book. I felt like I mostly taught myself. I'm done at SFC, but I wouldn't recommend her to a serious accounting major. Sorry.

I took Prof Adams' class online and I highly recommend her. Her whiteboard lectures are very helpful and she is lightning quick in responding to email. She even oferred to meet with us several times during the semester if we needed help. Her chapter quizzes can be challenging, but not too terrible. I got an "A" in both classes I took with her.

An excellent teacher, even though accounting is simply hard, there's no getting around that. But she is pleasant and INCREDIBLY HELPFUL! She is very direct, her grading system is fair, she offers toms of extra credit and overall is one of the better teachers ive had.

Summer class- great teacher!!! Not sure what that other student is talking about. She is lightning fast in her response to emails. The best I have seen. We had 3 tests that she came too. Always gave extra help when needed. She did advise us to form study groups b/c she thought it would help. It did!

I Took her online for summer A. Best Accounting teacher at Santa Fe!She has online videos and exam reviews on Angel you can watch over and over until you understand it! You have to take the exams at SFC, but they are multiple choice and there are quizzes you take at home... Doing the extra credit is a good idea, it definitely helps you get an A.

Her online Managerial Accounting course is straightforward. I suggest using her powerpoint slides and library lectures as your main study aids. She offers extra credit as well. Nice person and good online course.

I have taken a couple of other accounting classes and Prof. Adams has been the most helpful. Accounting is hard but she explains it in a way so you can understand the concept. I took this class online and it was a bit difficult the only grades are quizzes on each chapter and then ur midterm and final she does offer extra credit. I found that she was very helpful and would meet with me anytime she could to help me. Her online lectures are awesome. I am def. going to take her again.

Daneen is a great teacher. Managerial is much easier than Financial, and you have to really study for the exams (her review tests are helpful, but don't prepare you well enough for the way the actual exam is structured. Gives enough extra credit for you to get about a 77 on each exam and still pass with an A if you do the quizzes.

GREAT teacher. You have to take the time and actually study from her review tests and quizzes. I'm finishing with a B (Cs on all 3 exams, but 40 points extra credit). I didn't do book homework at all. One test the avg was 55/100 and I got a 72 just with studying her review + the quizzes. IMPOSSIBLE to get less than a C if you actually try! LOVE her

Taking this class for Summer A and wow, you really cannot fail this class. Your entire grade is made up of 237 points: 2 tests for 100 points each, 7 quizzes for 5 points each, and something worth two points that you really can't get wrong. Aside from that, you get the option to do an extra credit project for 40 points... No brainer, do the project

She is very clear on her expectations and her lectures on Whiteboard are pretty easy to follow. You do need to take the quizzes and study, but if you just put in the effort you can do well in her class. Very approachable and was quick with replies to requests for assistance. Looking forward to ACG2071 next.

I took this class online. I really liked this professor. She's very clear about what she expects from you for each chapter. The power points were very helpful and if you had a question she was available. Use the power points with the text book and complete example questions and you'll do fine.

She is the best acc professor. Her grade include 1 midterm,1 finals, and 7 quizzes. She did offer a lot of extra credits. I wish I did it. I got an 90 on the midterm, 43 on the final, and did well on the quizzes. I made a B. You have to study a lot though.Watch her lecture it's very straightforward! Good Luck

Financial Accounting is extremely tough! Its a weed out class! Take it with Daneen Adams you WILL pass with an A like I did. She will tell you what to study, her classes are very organized so you know what is expected, and you can ask her questions in class or via email. Study right from the beginning. Don't fall behind. She is the best!

Financial Accounting is one of the most boring subjects ever but Prof. Adams really makes this class bearable. She's such a caring person and wants to see her students succeed. Just watch the whiteboard lectures for the exams and go over old quizzes. Tests are pretty straight-forward. Easy class.

Professor Adams was straightforward. The class is exactly as stated in the syllabus. Make sure you study the book for quizzes AND exams. All questions are taken from the book. Do the EC. It really helps your grade. She always replied to my e-mails within 24 hours. I'd take her again. Plus, she's hot!

You have to put effort into the class bc she will not baby you! A live class has an advantage bc she points out certain q's that will be on her tests unlike in the videos. Some unfair wording on tests & quizzes. She's very smart so I think she sometimes comes off as unsympathetic to your lack of understanding, but I don't think this is intentional.

Professor Adams gives you everything you need to pass her classes. It is up to the student to use these tools though.

I wouldn't recommend for an online class. She expects you to read the book, and make sure you memorize everything you read. Definitely never skip her "optional" review sessions, because you will need them for the exams. She will help you, but you have to ask for it.

I followed this pattern before exams and received an A in both courses I took with Adams: reviewed "chapter outlines" online, read all chapters and worked all example problems, watched recorded live lectures, watched PowerPoints with audio, did HW, did practice exam and compared answers to answer key for assistance. After all of this, an A is easy.

This is now the third course I've taken with Mrs. Adams and I love her. Her QUIZZES are based on the book--read the chapter, work the problems, and you'll do fine. Her EXAMS are more challenging than the quizzes--read the chapters, watch the live lectures, and read her "chapter overviews" as they are VERY helpful. Apply yourself and an A is easy!

Best teacher for accounting! She has so many resources for her students to succeed. The live lectures are very helpful! I thought it was great that she only had a few chapters on each test. Much easier to study that way. Take her. Accounting is hard but she responds to emails very quickly and is always willing to help.

Be prepared to study! Ms. Adams makes all the information readily available, you just have to learn to navigate her Canvas page. It took me until right before the last exam to find the video lectures as they weren't labeled the best. Do the suggested homework from the text, it really helps. I took two online accounting courses with Professor Adams, she is wonderful. She responds to emails and questions. She will call you back if you have questions that are not easily answered over the phone. Her classes give extra credit assignments that are fun worth doing and help if you need the points. Ms. Adams is FANTASTIC!!! Accounting is known to be tough, but she made it clear and enjoyable by breaking concepts down to simple terms and answering questions as much as needed. Still, work is required. Final grade (Based on 237 pts) 2 tests/200 pts, 7 quizzes/35 pts, one extra credit opportunity/15 pts, and 2 pts. for acknowledging syllabus.

There are quizzes for every chapter, 3 tests, and 1 extra credit assignment (it's a grade booster). This is not an easy class, but she's really fast with answering questions and is super helpful.

Daneen uses online lectures from her actual classes so they are fresh, participatory and contextual. The lectures are more valuable than the text and are well-worth watching a few times. She works through the "homework" and sample tests and these are all available any time, not just before the test/quiz.

Professor Adams is very good at what she does. There was never a time where I was not able to reach out to her and have her reply in minutes. I loved her live recorded lectures. It helps when the class is online for the problems. Study lectures, homeworks, quizzes and reviews and you will pass! A lot of questions from the quizzes are on the exams!

My class meets once a week. She travels every other week between the main campus and another campus. So the week she is not in front of you she is on a projector where you can see and hear each other. I don't mind it at all and if I have questions I just ask. She uploads her lectures which are very helpful. Amazing teacher!

Professor Adams is a real gem here at SF. I took her for both of my online Accounting classes and I loved it. Her online lectures are recorded mainly from her in-class lectures and are easy to follow. She can explain the toughest materials very well and is very helpful when you do not understand a problem of the homework etc.

I have nothing bad to say. I was so worried, but she made it fine. Do your HW (not bad), watch her recorded lectures + hw explanation, and do her extra credit. If you put in even minimal effort, you are golden. She is quick to respond. WATCH HER RECORDED LECTURES + WORKED OUT PROBLEMS. She tells you how to pass. I am not great and even I got an A.

If you're debating whether to get Jill Cunningham or Daneen Adams, trust me get Daneen! she has structured her class in such a way that is very easy to follow and she always makes note of what to expect on the exam in lectures. Just stay on top of your work and you'll actually appreciate accounting.

Literally took her for my two required accounting classes Financial and Managerial and passed both with an A+ amazing professor loved how well structured her class was. She gives so much practice for her tests it's impossible to be unprepared so as long as you actually watch her lectures and do her hw and quizzes you'll pass tests and the class!

Professor posts video lectures of her explaining all assignments and information that are very helpful for understanding the concepts. As long as you apply yourself to understand the info she gives then you should do well in the course. Only 2 tests but an optional final can replace the lowest test score which is helpful.

The workload was split up into two due dates. It wasnt bad but since Im a procrastinator I wouldnt start until week of. She has all her coursework due through McGraw hill. Easy to get in contact with her. Exams must be completed by 8pm the day its due. She uses honorlock for proctoring. Overall an easy going class and Ill be taking her again.

I took her class there and I feel that she is a great teacher who cares about her students. The first test was hard but that was on me because I didn't study as much as I should have. She gave extra credit. It was really hard NOT to get a good grade in my opinion.

As of now, I have an A in the class. The subject matter is hard but she lets you bring in a notecard which is really helpful. Most students I talk to in the class have an A or B. Not sure what the other student is talking about. You have to put in the work, but you will do fine.

While I took this class online, professor Adams goes out of her way to provide materials for students to be successful. She provides multiple recorded lectures to guide you through the work and extra credit assignments to help boost your grade if needed, when I struggled to learn the content there was always extra resources there for me.

I had no accounting background, and this course did a good job of explaining the basics. The online lectures were okay, but a LOT of textbook and homework. Insane amount of busy work. Exams allow a notecard which absolutely carried me. Course isn't hard but be prepared to be doing busy work for hours every week. Prof is nice/helpful in office hours

Hands down best professor I've taken so far. I had 0 accounting experience before taking this class but she was able to turn difficult concepts into easy ones. She provides relevant examples and none of the material feels like busywork. The quizzes prepare you for the exams and she provides test reviews that help a lot. Super responsive as well.

I took her for ACG2021 and would say this class is a little harder, but she's consistent with her formatting and always wants to help. Everything is set up well and very organized, so you know what to expect. All the resources you need are given to you within the class to succeed. Would take again!!

Professor Adams has a course set up that will allow you to excel if you put in the effort. She is responsive and caring. I recommend.
