Indep learning class. Accepted all of my late work. I've missed over half of my appointments. Seems to grade the papers a little hard, but lets you rewrite and only final paper grade counts. Other assignments are easy. Should be easy A/B for most as long as you turn everything in, even missing some appointments with late work.

I took this course online. Professor Hubbard was great for answering any questions and concerns right away. The only thing I disagree with is how she would over analyzed EVERYTHING. You should be able to write and feel comfortable coming out of your shell. Very hard grader!! For an education teacher, she should give the students a chance and relax.

Prof Hubbard was extremely helpful and post grades right away. Class is easy as long as you follow the guidlines and turn in work on time. Text books were not needed save your money.

8 week class so manage your schedule. This is a writing class so plan on writing. This instructor has a passion and is there if and when you need her - friendly and approachable. She grades work faster than anyone. If you have writing skills you wont need the book - never read a page. Her curriculum is focused but there were issues with Blackboard.

Although I took this class online and never got to meet with her in person, she is an AMAZING teacher. I can definitely be a lazy and last minute student and I still managed to get an A in her class. The work is so simple just get it done on time and you'll be good. HIGHLY recommend her!

Took this English 1102 class as an online 8 week course. She was extremely helpful, always sent out emails reminding students of due dates and was a quick grader. Everyone should take English 1102 online in an 8 week course with her. She had us do a few easy assignments, maybe about one a week, so for most of the course you really only put in half an hour of work time for this class per week. Then, you just write the final paper which she's more than happy to help you draft. She ensures her students success!

Dr. Hubbard was a great teacher in every sense. She structured the class so the work load was doable, and everything you did was used in putting together your final paper. Lots of optional assignments to dig deep into the material if English is your major, but it's not required to get a good grade. Best 8 week online English class hands down.

Gives very few assignments. Only one a week and even this is very short. At the end of the course there is a final research essay to write, it is little bit more challenging because of its' length, but can send her a draft and she will help making corrections to get a higher grade. Class is very laid back especially for an eight weak class. There isn't many assignments, which can be a good or a bad thing. So make sure you turn in all your assignments on time and ask her for feedback before submitting your work. Basically an easy A if you do all your assignments on time!

Overall a good teacher, but would be very careful how you pick your topics for her class. I had a more forward thinking Idea for my essay and some of the assignments given catered to the generic essays like Legalizing Marijuana and Abortion. Dr. Hubbard's online course is easy to follow. She guides you in choosing your research topic, but does not tell you what topic to research. This was my first time taking an online class and I was a little nervous because it was a 5-week course but Dr. Hubbard was very informative about what she was expecting and what was due. She took the time to send out reminders to the students, which I found to be very caring. She really wants the students to get the best grade possible.

I was worried I wouldn't have enough because of the condensed due dates, but it was manageable if you stay on top of it just like any other 16-week course. Took her during fall of 2020 as an internet based 8 week class. There are weekly assignments, and at the end of the class there is an 8 page research paper due, but the weekly assignments that you due can be included in your paper. I absolutely loved this class. The evaluating sources assignments help you a lot for when your final paper is due at the end of the term. These assignments are key to building your final essay. Also you can work ahead and finish early.

I took this class as a gen ed, but I have taken college English before. I personally found the class to be super easy. Graded on four papers and five 10 point assignments. Everything was due Monday at 5pm and I was able to do everything from my desk at work on Monday mornings. Didnt touch the textbook, just wrote my papers and got a 96.

Professor Hubbard gives precise instructions on how to complete assignments and posts videos explaining the genre and construction of the piece you're supposed to write. She gives some reading assignments between essay assignments, which help give a clearer picture of your own goals in writing. She is very communicative and a fast grader! Love her!

Had her for ENGLI-NET-1101 8 week, probably the best English teacher I've had in my life. Every assignment was available from day one, she had clear grading criteria and returned assignments with well thought feedback. Essays were due every week but what else would you expect from an 8 week? No BS busy work, just submit your essays and you pass.

Took her 8 week online class, consisted of four essays and a few writing assignments. Was not hard as she's a lenient grader and also grades your work the day off which is nice. The grade you get is definitely based of how much time you put in. Don't fall behind and do the work. Overall great teacher and straightforward class!

Great professor - super sweet and supportive. Essays are easy with quick feedback. Used unstuck study alongside the textbook to prepare and get an A. Highly recommend taking this class.

Hubbard is caring, funny, and an overall great teacher to have For English 1101. There are about 6 papers throughout the semester but she gives lots of time to do them and is very quick with grading! The rest of the material can all be done in class and is very easy, standard stuff she just uses to add points to your grade.

I took English 1 in the 8-week NET format. I was very nervous at first, but the key to success in this class is managing your time and trying to get ahead. Your grade will consist of 4 essays, 5 discussion posts, and 2 assignments.

Prof. Hubbard was caring, and allowed you to complete the course at your own pace. She gave great feedback and wasn't too harsh on the grading. She enjoyed reading every piece of writing I had and it felt as if my voice was heard.

This online eng course was by far the easiest course to navigate. Amazing professor, very responsive and extremely helpful. Material is easy to understand. She lays all due dates out upfront which is nice, to be able to plan accordingly.

Professor Hubbard is a great teacher!!! The class itself was fairly easy, I did an accelerated 8 week course so we essentially had a paper a week. However, the papers themselves were not super long in length (3 pages max for most) and she gives really good feedback!

She is very much a stickler for attendance, making many speeches on how you need to be in class on time. It's a very easy class, just watch some videos and take quizzes on it and then finish off the class with a writing activity. The quizzes are a bit unorganized and tedious but otherwise passable.

Dr. Hubbard was a wonderful professor to have for online English 1101. There was one essay per week, usually between 2-3 pages, and all of the prompts were extremely straightforward and fun to complete. Proofreading is important but you could usually finish the assignment in one sitting. She was very nice and accommodating to circumstances! :)

She is incredibly clear, thoughtful, and well-organized, and explains everything in a way that is easy to understand. Each unit includes engaging videos that add valuable perspective. She is also very responsive and supportive, taking the time to answer questions. She grades essays and assignments quickly providing helpful and encouraging feedback.

Dr. Hubbard is very thorough with her content that she provides for each assignment. 4 Discussion question based on the essays and 5 essays. You move at your own pace as long as you make the due dates. The class is not hard at all very self explanatory and she is very receptive and communicable with responding to emails. Loved the class!

This was my first class back to higher education. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially being online. Professor Hubbard was an outstanding supporter , educator and human in making this class a breeze and informative. She brought back my spark in writing, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have taken this class. THANK YOU!

She was easy, straight to the point & class was at your own pace. I was able to work at my speed & finish the class way before it was done. There are 4 essays needed to be done & a few assignments but everything is super easy. She picks out great topics which makes the writing process much easier. She responds ASAP & gives great feedback.

This was a 5 week summer course, the class consists of 4 discussion boards and 4 essays. She is AMAZING. She gives great feedback, VERY easy/fast grader and responds to emails very fast. If you have the opportunity, TAKE HER!!!

If I could take her class again I would! She gives great feedback and shares her opinions on your writing. Follow her direction and you won't be steered wrong! She responds fast to emails and grades come back just as fast. Take your time with your essays and make sure they're well thought out

Professor Hubard was the best online professor I have taken yet. I got 455/460 (98.91%) points on total coursework in the class, she gives you all due dates at the begining of the class so its easy to keep up with the work. In the span of my 8 week course we were given 4 essays. she also replies to emails instantly. Overall very helpful professor.

Amazing professor. I would take her if you need to do any English classes. She really grades to the rubric and is overall super helpful and kind with comments and feedback. Assignments are clear and straightforward. I would also recommend taking her online.
