Very good teacher. Gives study guides and has review days. Tests are exactly what we study in class and what the study guide is over. Very nice teacher who loves discussion.

He is awesome! If you want a laid back class that is easy and fun. Then take him! He is nice and easy to talk to. His study guides are the test pretty much. As long as you are there to take notes during class then you will do fine.

Took as an online class. 5 exams (50 question within 2 hours) 5 essays.Definately need the book, doesnt give you review sheets for online class but does give you powerpoint slides. This 5 week online class moves fast...I didn't do well on the test: 54,56,72,78, assignments were easy passed all of them with an A(s). If I would have applied myself more I would have gotten a better grade. I made a C.

I took this professor online and somehow enjoyed his class as if it was a lecture. I wrote essays and he actually had responses that required me to respond and get in depth with the class. I would love him as an in class professor I am sure he is as thorough as he is in his online course. Weekly essays and course related tests. TAKE HIM!!!

you need to read book to understand and actually its a self-taught class because this is a 3 week class. 3 tests cover everything in the book, hard to find information when time limits to 2 hrs, give you only one attempt for the test. Guess I didn't do well.

I took the 3wk mini course online & I have to say that this guy is awesome. He replies very promptly to emails. The previous post is true in saying that you do have to read. But then again, if you aren't going to read, why are you going to college? I made a 92, 98, and 100 on my tests. Take Professor Argo!!

Argo was a very helpful, timely, and organized teacher.There were quizzes every week 10Q in 15M and test every week 50Q 1:30. and forums every week. I did three forums and googled searched every question for quizzes and test and never made below a b. Easy pass for this class I'd defiantly do it again!

This class has a lot of busy work. Quiz, Exam and Topic Discussions due each week. Oh and not to mention you have to respond to several in order to get full credit. The class was ok, never used the book but again it is alot of busy work. If you have the free time to spare than take this class. I worked my butt off and received an A.

I took him during the mini-3 week session. All you do is read the textbook chapters and write 3 paragraphs per topic. It's pretty much like a short essay. The quizzes/tests are easy. He clearly states when each assignment is due. Tbh, the reading and the short essays were a pain during winter break, but I managed to make an A. Worth it.

Easy A. If you want an easy class take him. I took him for a summer mini. There is alot of busy work but its easy. Tests and quizzes are straight from the book.

Excellent teacher! If you do the work, you will get an A. He communicates daily and his directions are very clear. You get 5 attempts on his quizzes and he takes the highest grade. You have plenty of time on the quizzes and tests to look up some the questions online. 5 writing assignments that were graded easy. Definitely take this professor!:)

I took Professor Argo online this summer. 5 assignments, 1 page each. 5 tests and 1 final. Web based. There is also extra credit, but good luck on that. Its a 5-page research paper. He is a great. Assignments are easy and straight forward. He will email you each week with the due dates, which are also on the syllabus. Made an A. Highly Recommended

I took this during Summer 1 and it was so easy! Take him! Textbook isn't needed; you can study off of quizlet! I loved the discussions he gave us and got a 100 on all of them. He grades at the end of each week and sends out reminders in the emails too.

Professor Argo class is simply an easy A. All you have to do is a few assignments which were very easy and interesting. I received 100 on all of them. Quiz and Exam are easy too. He also had an 25 point extra credit which I didn't need to do because his class was easy. Always responds to emails and send out email reminders. He doesn't overload you

easy A - read the chapter summaries and outlines - skimmed through book sometimes the summaries and the book did not match and the test question was wrong - because of conflicting answers - emailed him and he corrected.

I took a mini semester, so it was a lot of work. There's plenty of reading and writing to do. Exams were not easy, 50 questions each exam. He responds fast to emails. If you want a good grade you have to put in the work.

Everything is done online. He is quick to respond, respect his deadlines. He doesnt do extension and does not accept late stuff.

His class is not too hard. He gives nice powerpoints, which the tests are based off. He does expect you to participate but not overly so. Not hard to get an A but does require some effort. He makes the class very intersting, his lecture can be long but not boring. Connects his information to life.

Professor Argo is by far one of the BEST professors I have had. I took his Sociology 1301 online course for this past fall semester. Mind you, this semester was only 5 weeks long! (Nov-Dec) He is VERY organized and makes the class easy to follow and understand. He also provides extra credit. GREAT professor, please take him!!!

He gave us two chances for extra credit, his required readings were great and very thought inducing. There are 5 exams and numerous quizzes. all quizzes he gives you 5 attempts and takes highest score. quizzes don't close you can use them as study guides! Didn't use textbook at all.

Took him in summer 5 wk session. Easy grader, but there are 5 tests and quizzes. They dont close on specific dates so must have discipline. Book is boring so I skimmed-notes dont really help for test q's. Tests are 50 questions and you get 75 min so you must be either good at skimming or a faster test taker. Overall an easy class though!

Took him for the summer online class. The class was very organized. An assignment every week that was easy & he gives U clear instructions. Due date for all exams (50 qs, 75 mins) & quizzes (10 qs, 15 min) was the last day of the semester. Exams R okay if U read the book. All in all it was a pleasure to take him & an A is achievable, he's great!

Professor Argo had a good Syllabus. I have nothing to say about his personality because I never needed to contact him. 1 discussion post per week. 1-2 papers. Tests and quizzes are all due at the end of the semester. This course wasn't difficult at all.

I took this course as a 3-week and it was great! However, there are many papers and discussions that you must do on time and he is pertinacious about it. Great class if you are willing to read and I must say it is interesting! He also gives constant reminders when things are due and makes sure you succeed. Awesome experience!

I was in the mini session in May, if you put in the work you will get an A, such a easy class but there is a 1200 word essay every week and a 750 word discussion every week.

I will recommend taking this class only for the summer, mini , 5 weeks , or 8 week term . I took the 8 week term and every week included a 1200 word essay or 650 or more word discussion This class is not hard but it is time consuming . He is a pretty easy grader but time management is everything for this class . Don't wait last minute like I did .

Professor Daniel Argo is a great professor. He responds to your messages within 24 hrs. I took his SOCI 1301 class online. He has 1 ten question quiz, 1 40-50 question exam, 1 discussion (written essay) each week, the quizzes and exams are google friendly and the papers require for you to read the chapters...I recommend for everyone to take him.

Took him during mini winter session. Easy professor, easy A. 6 discussion/essays (that varies b/t 600-1300 words), 5 test, 6 quizzes. his test and quizzes are google friendly and he is not a harsh grader on the essay. Overall, easy class compare to other sociology professors.

I also took him for winter mini semester and it was so easy! All you have to do is the essay assignments and the quizzes and test are googled. You dont even have to buy a textbook. Take him! You wont regret it!

The class is very fast paced and lasted for 3 weeks. There were book assignments, quizzes, exams, online discussions, and writing assignments. The book assignments were easy. Sometimes the quizzes and/or the exams had free response questions. Everything is online. He is straightforward about his whole class and replies to emails quickly.

It consisted of 6 papers, 5 quizzes (you have 5 attempts), 5 exams (open book, but timed). He opens assignments week of. I only read the chapters for the papers. I highly recommend him!!

I enjoyed taking his online class for 8 weeks. He is not a harsh grader at all and wants you to understand the material. The assignments weren't hard at all. However, about 20% of the exam/quiz answers aren't online so you do have to read the material. I would definitely take him again.

very caring instructor, a lot of the assignments are simply discussion posts asking you how your week was/your thoughts on a given topic. the assignments that he gives are relevant. easy A as long as you read the textbook and do your assignments on time. we did a couple essays but most of them were very short, 600 words. :)

Records lectures for you to go back and look at. Weekly simple discussions about sociology or even about your own life (Ice breaker questions). Reminders about upcoming assignment deadlines. Nice messages about what he is going to go over in each class. Overall, he is very nice and amazing lectures that break it down to real life situations!

The textbook is provided online. Professor Argo's work isn't hard, all of his assignments are easy but of course, you have to read. He isn't a tough essay grader just meet the word count and good grammar and you'll be fine, obviously, you have to answer the prompts. Quizzes are easy. Sometimes there's extra credit, completing a student survey.

Taken during Mini Session and had to be one of the easiest classes I've taken in a while. Several essays but graded easily. (Didn't reach word count on some and still got an A on all essay). Took Argo's class asynchronous last winter session and it was amazing. Very chill and a good person. His assignments are easy and only two one-page papers. Do all the weekly assignments, try your best on the two essays, and pay attention to the rubrics you will get an A. Quizzes and exams are open note and both are easy. Highly recommend him.

I thoroughly enjoyed Prof Argo's criminology class, I wish he had another one! If you find yourself wondering why certain crimes may happen and what draws people to commit them, this is the class for you! As long as you keep up with reading, assignments, and quizzes- you'll be fine. There are a couple of papers to write, but nothing overwhelming.

This class is an easy A if you pay attention to the rubric on the assignments. I highly recommend taking the 8-week course. Not overwhelming. Discussions most of the time were opinion-based. He provides explanations for the research paper. Take him, your GPA will thank you!!

BEST TEACHER EVER I took his Criminology class from August 22 - October 15 I was a bit scared mostly dealing with anxiety. But it was great yeah you do have to read but I had fun quizzes you have 5 attempts & assignments are worth more than test. If you have any questions he'll answer fast and gives great feedback. The assignment are fun and easy.
