Aronson is crazy but an easy A. As long as you show up to class and take notes you'll easily pass his class. He's always giving extra points and hates to fail people. If you have to take any Econ classes take with him!

HE IS ONE CRAZY DUDE, but if you can get past the microphone and water, he is a good teacher, and you will always leave class with a smile on your face. Defintely unforgettable, and not too hard... there are worse.

in the begining hard to understand. Good teacher, visual aids provide deeper understanding of many concepts. Great attitude. If u take econ this is the teacher.

If you can put up with him, he is a great teacher. Gives you most of the of the test questions and answers before the test, always curves, I ended up with a 108 in the class. Has a real passion towards economics.

In the beginging i thought he was crazy and that id learn nothing! but later on in the course it was easy and he gives whats on the test. if you ever need help just visit his messy office. hes not a tough grader and always curves!(20 points on the final)

He is pretty crazy. Talks into a $20.00 Radio Shack microphone and amp even in small class rooms. Guzzles water while he teaches from a huge jug, but I loved how he taught Econ.

Who are the people giving him 3's on easiness? this guy gave out more extra credit than i thought was possible. fun class, dont miss it.

Professor Aronson is a good professor. He makes a very boring subject interesting. Glad to have him as a professor.

No Homework, No Projects, All you have is 2 tests and a noncummlative final. All notes no book, goes super slow and constantly reviews (sometimes to much and too slow) Awesome teacher!! Curves everything, He even curved a test 30 points up! Previous test 20 points up!

Cool guy, knows his stuff. Likes to drink a lot of WATER and speak to a class of 25 through a mirophone. HMMM... very helpful and gives you everything you need to know to pass his tests with flying colors.

Great Prof... He gets mad when no one contributes so just make sure he knows your name and you will get a good grade in the class!

At the first time I thought he was pretty crazy and he was gonna be tough, well I was wrong…he is cool and actually he made me like economics. His tests are not hard but if u don’t plan to show up in his class just don’t take him because u r gonna have a hard time.

Very easy prof. very cool.. teachs slow and NOT boring.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Just make sure you practicipate in class and B or higher is guranteed.

I got an A in this class. Not that hard. Just study and you will do fine. He is kinda weird though, talks about the environment and PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION all the damn time.

if you dont get an A ur an idiot...super easy class..and goes over cocepts 3 times before moving on...

Take his class. DONT buy the book, you will never use it b/c he prints out his own packets. He's pretty cool and likes to keep things simple and clear.

EASY!! I got A's both times with very little work. He can get confusing about the stupidist things.. just goto his exam reviews. Make sure he knows your name and your almost guranteed an A

Great teacher! the tests are easy for the most part, the second one throws you off a little but be prepares you tremendously. hes the only one id take for econ 102 aka micro.

easy A. don't bother buying the text book. you won't even use it. the tests are multiple choice and right from lecture notes. he even curves. i took this as a summer class and it was the easiest A i ever got.

Awesome teacher, funny and straight forward. Test are nothing more than what is covered in class, no surprises. Definately take this teacher, I promise you will do well in it.

Prof. Aronson is really nice, he never gives homework. If you like learning about money and economics you will really enjoy his class. He also touches on current issues involving economics which can be really interesting. The material isnt too difficult. You definitley need to study for his exams, but it was a interesting class and i learned alot.

The class is easy as long as you look over your notes. Makes class interesting in a number of ways.. Sometime he seems to raelly know his stuff and then sometimes you'll ask a question and he has no response. If you want to, you can learn a lot.

one of the classes you sit in the first week and say wow its gonna be a long 14 weeks. as the classes goes on he will grow on you. very smart and loves to talk about different topics with class. def would take another class by him

Good professor. You really have to pay attention especially if economics is not your thing. DO NOT talk during his class or else he will make you sit in the cornor. Yes the Cornor! also will ask for rides to and from the train station often. Do it. Easy way to get on his good side and pass

Hilarious! He will make you enjoy being in class whether or not your interested in economics. Tells you test questions and answers, "spoon feeds" the class information easy, fun, smart guy, highly recommended. Tell him he speaks like a shy little boy ;) and he'll sing opera for you

Took him for both Macro and Micro. Its an easy A. He doesn't take attendance at all, and frankly he doesn't care if you go or not. He gives 3 tests with 25 multiple choices. Before each test he gives you the answers and all of them come from his notes. Don't bother with the book, its not necessary.

I like his note and his Exam was Easy, if you attend class and have his note.

He is so funny but a little kooky. He knows what he's talking about. Just listen to him and laugh at his jokes. Oh yeah SPEAK UP, he won't let you get away with just sitting quiet in the corner!

Great professor! He is always cracking a joke and making us laugh. I know he reads these so i have to say something nice haha but really he is a great professor. I would recommend him highly.

Recommended. Thought I would hate macro- got an A. Pros: If you say u don't understand something, he will not move on until he helps u. Extremely little homework, teaches 2the test, but still rewarding. Funny sarcasm. Cons: Some students upset when went off espousing personal ideas for 2 classes. Some didn't like how he ran things like a drill sgt.

Professor Aronson is a great professor. Funny, sarcastic sense of humor. He doesn't like that people say he's good because his class is easy, however his classes really are easy. BUT, I wouldn't say he's a good professor because his class is easy... I would say It's an easy class because he is a good professor.

I had him for Macroeconomics one summer. He is a very funny guy. He has interesting teaching techniques and enjoys involving his students in lectures, which benefit the understanding of the subject. Your entire class grade consists of exams. As long as you pay attention, participate in discussions, and ask for his assistance when needed, you are guaranteed a passing grade. Overall, he is easygoing and makes Economics easier to comprehend then most of the teachers I know.

Professor Aronson will keep you entertained while he teaches you a subject that can be very boring. With Aronson you can enjoy any material in economics.

Had him for Macroeconomics. He has a unique sense of humor that could be off-putting at first but he's pretty entertaining. Great teacher overall, I wish I could take him for Micro :( It isn't as easy as some make it sound but if u study his handouts and pay attention in class you will do fine. DO NOT MISS ANY OF HIS CLASSES. u will get far behind.

Professor Aronson is one of the best economics professors at rvcc. He lectures what the tests are on and makes economics extremely understandable. Very helpful and cares about students

Professor Aronson is a very interesting character. He is very old fashion and simply just lectures. He does not use power points so here are a few tips: 1:Learn to abbreviate! (He usually does not repeat more than twice) 2:Do not have side conversations (He may kick you out) and 3:Speak up! He will humiliate you if you mumble to his face.

Prof. Aronson is one of my favorites. Don't miss class and take notes and you'll do fine. He likes to be challenged so ask questions and SPEAK UP! I took 2 classes with him and never bought the textbooks. Focus on taking notes.

I took the Macro course last year, Spring 2013. Aronson is a good professor. He gives handouts which go along with his lectures in class, as long as you take some notes, you're good for the exams(all multiple choice i think). pay attention in classes, DON't talk while he does, he'll call you out. Raise your hand. All in all, a good class to take.

Prof Aronson is a great teacher. Take notes in class and you don't need the txt book. Plus he reviews everything you need to know the day before the test. Like others said speak up(Pretty much yell) took him for micro and taking him for macro now this semester. One of my favorites.

took both econ101 and 102 with him, he is a great professor, if you can stay awake during lectures. he talks about real life situations and makes it fun. he goes over the test questions the day before the test so if you take notes you will have the test answers. speak loudly when you are calle don or he will embarrass you.

I have taken him for Macro & now for Micro and liked him a lot more for Macro. Micro is a joke and a complete waist of time. He covert topics he is interested on only and gives his opinion instead of teaching fundamentals. the concern is that I will be taking upper level economics when I transfer and won't be ready. He is funny but it gets old.

Pretty solid choice. If you dont speak up in class he will chew you out. Class is pretty easy no reading barely any hw.

Professor Aronson is an extremely knowledgeable professor who will not only teach the material but incite and encourage thoughtful discussion on the subject matter. He explains everything very clearly and is more than ready to stop and explain in further detail if asked. He gives great lectures and has a great sense of humor. An overall great guy.

He has taught economics for over 30 years. You must go to every lecture and take notes, as the tests reflect the notes 1:1. Lectures are not dense but focus on concepts. Ask questions and participate. His strictness and peculiarities make the class unique. Be sure to speak up and review your notes.

bleeping speak up! professor aronson will yell at you through his microphone if you dont speak loud enough, but other than that he is one of the funniest professors ive ever had. he is also more passionate about economics than i will be about anything in my life. his reviews are the exact test questions so pay attention.

Best economics teacher. Class is weighed on 3 test grades, the last being the final. Around 20 to 25 questions each. There are 2 forms, A and B, on each test. They both have the same questions but the only difference is that they're mixed. Also he hasnt changed them in over 30 years. Overall great lecturer, funny guy, insightful and knowledgeable.

Professor Aronson is a really knows his stuff. The pace is really slow, and there's not really assigned homework. Only grades are pretty much 3 tests, so go to class, take good notes, engage in the conversation, and you'll be fine. Oh, and if you talk quietly, beware; he will rip you apart (in a joking way). Very funny guy, class was laid back too.

It was an easy class, he's a little out there but just quizzes for grades doesn't care if you come to class as long as you get notes from someone. Tells everyone up front not to get the book to save money plus it's lecture mainly. Be sure to speak up. Makes lame jokes but it's bearable easy A as long as you don't do bad on the tests very few grades

Favorite Professor I've had here at RVCC. Show up to class and participate (DON'T MUMBLE), and you'll do just fine. He is a hilarious guy and makes his lectures entertaining while being a great teacher at the same time. If I could take him for every Econ class I would. I highly recommend him.

Hilarious guy. His class was very entertaining. He interacts alot with students and want them to speak up but don't be afraid , being shy won't effect your grade. He doesn't give any homework or readings just 3 easy tests that he reviews properly. He doesn't have power point presentation so you need to write his notes.

Aronson Was great. 3 tests throughout the whole semester. He hasn't changed them in years, he also goes over the test the class before . He wants everyone to learn. He calls on everyone. He makes tons of side comments, "are you mumbling". He is not afraid to call anyone out if they show up late, etc. He usually curves the tests. SPEAK UP!!!!

Had him in fall. Don't buy the book; he doesn't use it. Take notes; the only physical resource he gives you is a few handouts. Gets to know students. Graded only on tests, but he goes over the questions the class before each one. Very thorough. Don't talk when he's talking, but when he calls on you, take a diaphragm breath and project!
