He is one if not the best teachers in the Math Dept. He really cares for his students if you have questions and will take all the time needed in class to review homework that is misunderstood. Take him or you will miss out on a great teacher.

He is so funny! I hate math so much and have struggled with it all my life. He explains everything he does and makes you understand it! I would recommend him to anyone who needs math. He is great and cute in a weird way! He also loves to tell jokes

He is a great teacher. He makes math fun, and he is really easy. All he's tests and exams are only 10 questions and you know what area he is going to get them from. He is really good.

This is a very good stats class. If you take good notes, anyone can handle this class. Dan gives plenty of notes and examples on the board, and has no problem with students asking as many questions as needed during class. There is a one question quiz every day, and three tests during the semester. This is a class where anybody can learn.

let's just say if you're taking math and you don't take Dan, You're an idiot.

I have to say i've taken alot of math at BCC and Dan is, by far, the best math teacher there. He made math easy to understand. Just pay attention in his class by taking down his notes and do your homework. You will definately walk away with an "A" in this class. Best Teacher!!

if you take a math class with anyone other than Dan you seriously need your head checked because I have gotten C's and D's in math my entire life and I have taken two classes with Dan and passed with a high B he is a godsend for people who hate math!!!!!

Brilliant/down-to-earth/great personality, truly makes math easy. Dan defines kewl. I never thought math would be my "easy/breezy" class. He is so very organized, gives perfect notes (enough, but not too much), he is very considerate (even to those who stroll in late) he seems to have absolutely no stress in his life. I adore this man! (Math God)

All his tests are exactly what is in the homework. the material is difficult, but if you come to class he'll go through every example you did for homework. dan does a great job and he doesn't take attendance. I got an A in his class but it was easy.

I took Dan for both Math 31 and 32. The material is easy enough for the weekly 5 minute quiz, but for the test, he gives you a study guide early enough for you to start working on it. I was advised by a former student to take him before I even enrolled in BCC! It definately payed off.

all i can say is that this guys the best teacher for statistics, dont take it without him!

Quite possibly one of the BEST teachers i've EVER had. Makes math extremely easy, tells jokes all the time, writes everryyything on the board, will help you with anything you need help with. Down to earth, easy to get along with. If you take math, make sure it's with him :]

Great teacher. He goes over everything in a way that you will understand. He goes at the right pace not too fast but not too slow. He gives a quiz once a week but it is only a homework problem that he already went over.

Probably the best instructor for math-phobic people like me. I enjoyed his class very much in spite of it being... math (shudder!)I have advised many fellow students to take his classes.

Whereas textbooks feel the need to over complicate everything in order to make their authors sound smart, Dan just shows you the quickest and most efficient way to do everything. He shows you all the tricks and shortcuts, thus instead of reading 20 pages in your book, you can write one in your notes and still understand it all.

Dan is the best. He is so patient and is willing to help anybody. He's one of those teachers in which all he has to do is explain things once, and you got it. Down to earth, I wish he taught Math 51+52.

One word to describe Dan: Awesome. If you need to take Math 31 and/or Math 32 make sure Dan is your teacher. A monkey could learn in his class. He is the easiest teacher I have ever had. And he is always available for extra help if you get lost in his class.

Dan makes it so easy to learn and it's obvious he wants his students to get good grades. This is as good a math professor as you could ask for.

Oh my god this guys is awesome. Hygiene students (like myself) take him for this pre-req. There is hw, but it is not checked-for ur own benefit. drops 5 quiz grades, theres only two tests that are 10 questions and he is very thorough and clear which makes the class comprehendible and almost impossible not to get an A in. HIGHLY reccommend him!

BEST MATH TEACHER! Very nice teacher and even if you hate math he will make it easy and you'll love it. I'm takind MTH 32 with him and i'm planning to take all my math classes with him. Easy class! Highly recommended

Best math teacher! Makes the class interesting and fun for everyone to learn! The homework is optional, there is a easy quiz every class, drops your 5 lowest quizes, 3 tests total including the midterm and final. He wants his students to pass his class! Definitely I recommend taking him!

Best Math Teacher. So nice, gives great notes, 1 question quizzes once a week but drops 3 lowest. he is willing to help as much you as you need and will go over any homework problems as many times as needed. Easy A. Take him.

I can see why this professor is so popular, he is very clear when teaching and makes math seem easy because he only assigns the easiest questions for homework and on tests. I enjoyed his class but would have liked to do a little bit more challenging work. I felt like I was in a high school math class. It was like math for the dummiest dummies! lol

He is an awesome teacher, extrememly helpful when you are having problems understanding he will try his best to help you. I liked how he would write out the def to the words and explained each one. He would give tests/ quizzes everyday but it would be something from the homework and he would explain the hw right before the quizzes he gave.

Dan is the best Math teacher I've ever had! Math is my strong subject but he makes learning Calculus easy! They way he organizes the class sets you up for success if you pay attention and study! Took his Hybrid Stats course which became an optional fully online course for those with schedule conflicts. Although I only met him on the first day of class since the rest was all online, he made expectations clear and was very quick to respond to e-mails. Class is self-paced and does take time and effort to complete but it was a good experience.

GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR, he LOVES cars. This professor makes everything as simple as possible. You take notes off the board, or print them off E-Learning. You have a quiz every class, so attendance does matter. He lets everyone ask as many questions as needed. This class is HARD to get into, best bet is to introduce yourself and ask to be written in.

Daniel is a great teacher. He provides a catalyst to which you can proceed with the work at your own pace. This is great if you are comfortable with the material and you can really get ahead. I personally finished the course 2 months in and took the rest of the class off for the year. It is a great option to have.

Professor is very helpful, funny and knows how to explain complex math so that it is easy to understand. I never thought I would be good at math until I took his class. Makes me want to take more math classes.

i took the class at the campus but it was a computer aid course. i hate math and he was great! really laid back, no notes and everything is done on the computer

Wow This Professor is just great. He is awesome and very cool. If you hate math please take him and you will pass because you wont feel like you are taking a math class. He just makes the number so easy to understand and be there and take the quizzes and save them.

Awesome professer. Take his class you'll be happy you did. Explains everything clearly, accepts questions throughout, you will have to try to fail the course. 2 tests a final and weekly quizzes (lowest two quizzes dropped)

Great professor. Lectures are clear as well are his examples. He makes sure everyone understands the material before moving on. You can prob share a book with a classmate or buy used as he doesn't use any access codes. And in some weird nerdy way he's hot!

Dan is the Man. He helps you out a lot and there isn't a lot of homework (like five problems a night, but he doesn't grade it). He gives one question quizzes and will go over any problems or issues you have regarding the material. Comfortable classroom atmosphere. Pay attention and do your homeowork and youll get a good grade

Dan is a very good teacher who is willing to help. You don't have to buy the book because all of his notes is online even the homework. The tests are very easy all you have to do is study.

Best math teacher I've ever had. I took him for 2 classes in person and one online. I learned aton and his tests are very easy compared to other math professors I've had. However there isn't a lot of direction in the online class I took and felt very on my own.

For MTH 131, I couldn't have picked a better professor. He will write out problems on the board you can copy into your notebook or you can print out slideshows he has prepared each week. He has every single lesson covered in a youtube video and goes step by step so you can learn how to do the exercises. I hate math, but I enjoyed his class.

He's a great professor. He's super understanding and you can really tell he wants to help students the best he can! Wish all professors were as understanding and kind as he was to me!

I took his online class. He gives you many resources to get a good grade. He does many youtube videos to assist with each and every assignment. You get unlimited tried as your work.

By far an amazing professor. I would definitely take his class again. He explains everything you need to know very clearly and specifically. He also prepares you well for every test and for the final. You are never left lost or confused in his class. There is no textbook required. 100% recommend this professor.

This professor was very funny and friendly. He made sure every student understood the material and would go over anything for those who had questions. His lecture style was very easy. I felt like I was in a middle school class.

If you have the opportunity to take Dan for this class, or any math class, PLEASE do it! Super awesome guy, makes you feel comfortable and even asks every class if there were any questions on the homework - instead of just collecting it and grading it. Do your homework anyway though; quizzes based on it each class. Don't hesitate to take this prof!

I took an online class with him. He explained everything very easily, he even has a youtube channel where he posts videos on how to do the problems. I've always been terrible at math but I got an A-.

This Professor is top 5 in my book. He goes above and beyond to help you comprehend the work and makes learning math online especially easy. He isnt there to be tough on you, he truly wants his students to succeed. He is understanding and willing to take assignments late if you show you are actually making an effort in his class. If you're doing online classes, I would absolutely choose him for your math classes. He is very laidback and understanding about late assignments. He gets back to you very quickly and posts assignments very early in the morning which is helpful if you're up early. Only thing I can really complain about is that there is no way to see your grade.

Dan is the man. Just watch his videos and review them for quizzes and you'll ace the class. He's a great teacher and makes things so easy to understsand

He makes videos on each homework question so that you fully understand how to get to the answer (you dont pass in the homework, this is for you to practice). Quizzes are 3x a week but they consist of 1 question each and collaborate with the homework. Very responsive to email and will typically respond within same day.

MTH131, Dan was awesome. Great teacher, goes over any questions, and explains everything well. He has a video explanation for every HW problem. Very easy going guy and tells funny little stories and jokes. 1 question "quiz" every class from a HW question that he goes over beforehand. If you do bad in this class its probably your fault. Thumbs up

3 assignments were posted per week and only required the one-question quizzes to be uploaded online. The Homework assignments are considered supplementary and he also provides full YouTube video guides on the problems. Nearly all the content was very doable, you just need good time management over anything if you want to succeed in the class.

I took Professor Avedikian for an accelerated course over the Winter. 10/10. Could not recommend more.

I took him for Math 131 (online asych) and the class was a breeze. Classwork was very simple with one problem on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays called "quizzes". He provided video examples of how to do similar problems which was SUPER helpful considering this was online. I really enjoyed the structure and he is a great person!! 10/10 great experi

Great professor! Provides lots of resources like video guides and 1-question quizzes to really help you learn. Found Unstuck AI super useful for extra practice. Just stay on top of the work and you'll do well.

I took Professor Avedikian's winter accelerated course and found him to be great. Very clear, tells you what the problem is, sets up an example, and then gives you a small quiz on it. He was very quick to email back the times I needed to reach him. I highly recommend his courses.
