Professor Awodiya is the BEST!!!!!! He is a straight foward type of guy & will help you with anything. His classes are easy as long as you PAY ATTENTION and show up. Best Professor out there.

This professor was very intellegent and fair. Pay attention , go to class and participate and it will be an easy class. Remember pay attention becuase he will call on someone who dosent look like they are.

Sometimes his accent prsents som difficulty in understanding a lot of the things that he was saying .. but he kept this class fun, busy, and interesting. I still enjoyed it despite his heavy accent.

Extremely nice guy. Connects with all students in the class; will not let you shrink in the corner and stay uninvolved, but does not embarrass anyone. Seems to genuinely enjoy getting to know his students.

He was a good teacher and his class was really easy except he made us do groupwork - and my partner never showed up and made me get a zero. I would've otherwise gotten an A in this class. He calls on everyone, which I don't have a problem with but some people might get uncomfortable.

He is an awesome man. the accent is cool, if you dont understand what he says, just ask him and he will rephrase. He spices up his classes and yes calls on everyone. I really enjoyed going, even at 8a.m. Nice guy, with his 32 brothers and sisters.

This guy is the coolest professor out there..... the class was very easy even though it was at night... he made it fun and interesting... The final is the easiest...loved this professor he will see me in his co-13 class.... he will even dance 4 you..lol

He is the best proffersor @ suffolk. HE is very intellengent, funny and a person really learnes in his class room. I had this class from 12:30 to 3:15 and i though i was going to be misarable by the end of the day, but he proved me wrong and kept the class entertained and he was just really helpul.

One of the best professors in suffolk. You will not be distracted or zoned out during this class becuase he keeps your attention. He gives you the test questions before the test so you can study. He is very informative and also a very fair grader. Wold definately take him again.

Amazing professor! Does his best to convey the subject he is teaching to his students and expects them to work equally as hard to understand and use what he is teaching. Prof. Awodiya was quite liberal.very understanding to personal needs, as long as it is genuine.Email him in advance. Quite sympathetic, for true issues only. He reads right through you!!!! Donot play games, you have the wrong one baby! I will miss him tremendously. I found him to be very fair. Show interest, he gives it right back! RLT

An excellent professor, He teaches his subject thoroughly, but not without humor. He is an extremely fair grader and a very nice person as well.

He tries to be fun, but he is not. He wants you to buy his textbook for his class. He is a tough grader sometimes. But overall, you gonna be fine. You only have to work and do your speeches. Easy B.

very helpful and fair. brings up lots of topics in class and you're free to debate them as much as you like! two scantron exams, a few essays, and three class presentations. I can make the shot from a mile away bcuz the class is soo easy.

Awodiya has a classical yet fluid style of teaching that I recommend anyone to check out. class is not hard and every topic is open to debate. there are a few easy papers, 2 scantron tests, and group/individual presentations. After all that easy A, holla.

His notes are a little messy and his accent takes some time getting used to but his grading system is very easy going. His classes consist mostly of lectures and note taking, with a couple of quizes and a few projects. A pretty good teacher all in all with very fair grading system. So long as you put in effort, you will surely pass.

It has been not only a pleasure but an honor to be in this man's class. Besides the fact that he is very precise in what is expected of his students,he explains anything that is not clear and welcomes opinions and interaction. He is superbly articulate, his mastery of the English language is amazing and he can be very funny.Great class experience.

He is really a great guy. I took intercultural com with him all online. He was very understanding and attentive to my needs as a student. He is extremely clear on what he expects from you, and what you should expect from him. Very fair grader. If you fail his class, it is ALL ON YOU! He highlights everything you need to pass w an A.

You will need the textbook in order to pass his quizzes. Quizzes are genuinely fair, and he tells you what to study. He's not that hard to understand as other say, just pay attention and keep up your work.

Second class I've taken with Professor Awodiya. A schedule is given at the beginning of the semester, but he often extends deadlines. No tests all semester, three homeworks, one essay that is based off a movie of your choice, and a final paper. The discussions are extremely easy and mostly opinions. Take this if you want an easy online COM class.

Professor Awodiya had a strong accent but it was easy to get used to. He was a very informative teacher and also funny in a serious back-handed kind of way. Great class all-in-all, would recommend it to anyone!

Second time I took him and he hasn't changed one bit! Remembered who I was after not having him for a couple semesters. Reviews the test before taking it. Easy grader, just show up and do good on your papers and you will be fine

He would try and make lectures relatable and funny. If you had any confusion, he would help with that right away. He goes step-by-step with pretty much everything. Attendance is crucial!

Even though his class was pretty easy. I must say I did not enjoy him as a professor. He is very into religion. I do not like the fact that he made us interview one another and asked us personal religious belief. It has nothing do to with the class. Also he would make fun of students for their opinion in front of the class. That is not right.

You will usually be writing 2 400 word posts on the assigned chapters in the book and 4 200 word responses to others students work. There are about 3 essays also. Its a ton of work, but he posts the schedule from the first day and the assignments are very clear. In this class alone, I had more work than all my others combined. wouldnt answer emails

great prof. must take his class. if you are not a great public speaker just do good in the test(super easy). he is very nice, funny and really inspires you to do better.

I LOVE this professor. His accent is sort of heavy which makes him super cool! (Yes, you can understand him.) He's really good at teaching. If you have the textbook from his 101 course though don't bother buying the other one for the 102 course b/c it's the same haha. His projects are interesting, not too much hw, show up and you'll do good. :)

Dr. Awodiya is one of my favorite Communications professors on campus! He is down to earth and really wants his students to excel! His class has a good amount of work, but his assignments are fun and makes you grow as a person! Advice I would give to a student taking him is work hard and ask questions. Thank You Dr. Awodiya!

Amazing professor! The textbook he asks you to purchase is the textbook he wrote. The textbook wasn't ever used only to follow along with his lectures which he writes notes on the board of what is important anyways. Always adds a curve to his test that are extremely easy, multiple choice only. Easy A as long as you pay attention

At first, I thought the class was going to be awful, but it ended up being a lot of fun. He wrote his own textbook, so he knows everything in it which is amazing. He is a knowledgeable teacher and is very patient, but I would not recommend cutting class.

He's calm, the lectures can feel long because he's mellow but yet funny. Not much assignments just the quizzes, exams, and essays. You do have to present in front which is a big grade! If you're not good at presenting, than don't take him.
