This class has just started but Prof Beliciu goes well beyond any other psych prof I've had. He works around his students schedules, helps them when necessary, and makes research design actually fun. He doesn't overwhelm students. For a mandatory class I need he makes me want to come to lecture. Yes, he is pretty cute. He will help his students!!!

I just started this course with Prof Beliciu. I wanted to put a post here because he is extremely helpful for his students. I failed this class before but I already have learned more in 3 weeks than I did last year. He makes things easy to understand....hopefully the remainder of the semester is as exciting........he's young and good looking

he's a pretty cool down to earth prof. you can tell he was a student once and attempts to help his students as much as possible. the labs seem a bit tough tho...this class just started so hopefully lab is becomes easier. He is pretty funny compared to some of the other dull psych profs you take..his slide on the first day with a cat is hilarious

I just want to say I don't understand research design very well. This is my second time taking the class. Mr. Beliciu provides you with "real" life examples to help you understand the material. He is really funny, and makes the class interesting. Lab depending on your teacher can be confusing at times....overall tho the prof rocks!

Two words: ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS!.....he is so funny. I would highly suggest taking his course. He gives you the study guide over a month in advance. He uses online lectures to help with more difficult material. I definitely found this helpful to have alternative resources. Lab can be tough at times tho. Just keep up with lectures, textbook.

Prof Beliciu is honestly one of the most laid back people you will meet. It's actually pretty refreshing. You definitely should go to lecture. The midterm is fair, and the final is challenging. However, I had a C+ around the midterm and studied very hard the remainder of the semester. This course is tough but he makes it interesting for sure.

Professor Beliciu is pretty awesome. It's different because you would never think he is a prof (He looks so young!) Stats is extremely boring but somehow he kept it entertaining. I would highly suggest taking his course if you get a chance

I am writing a post as I take Professor Beliciu's child psych course during this fall 2013 strike at the university. He has gone above and beyond to help students out who cannot come to class. This guy is awesome. He is kind of an IT prof and makes his lectures available online. I swear I will purposely try to take all his courses.....

TAKE THIS PROF!!!! He is so helpful. I swear I have never seen a prof go above and beyond for his students. He provides students with extra materials, study guides weeks before the exams etc. He responds quickly to emails, and we received our exam grades 4 hours after taking the exam. You wouldn't even know he's a prof. He looks so young!!

Any stats class really really sucks. If you're a psych major this course is mandatory. I won't lie I was really scared, but he actually made the class interesting if that makes sense. He definitely helps the students out a lot. Only problem is labs can be tough. They really depend on the student instructor you may get....prof beliciu is pretty cool

What you read is pretty consistent. He provides you with study guides months before exams, slides online, online lectures if you happen not to come to class, and meets with students at their convenience. Everything is set in place for you to get an A. However, if you're lazy and complain about the workload than good luck. His teaching style is good

This guy is pretty awesome. Two exams and two papers (one is really brief). I took this class last year and was stuck doing 15 different assignments. If you pace yourself you will be fine. He grades pretty easily as well. I would highly suggest him as I took his stats class last year as well

I took both of these classes. Trust me when I say how nice this man is to deal with. Take advantage of his office hours, as he will provide you with insight. Both classes we received study guides way before the exam. However, with big classes you will get those that expect more. He goes way beyond any other psych prof I have had!!! TAKE HIM

He's a really good prof, however the concepts in class can suck. Only stats majors will enjoy stats courses lol As long as you print off slides, go to lecture to get exams, and read the book you will be fine. I must say tho my lab GA was pretty difficult. But if you have problems with grading, bring the issue to him, and he will look into it

My friends and I love reading comments on RMP. There cannot be a bad thing to say about prof beliciu. Honestly, it's not his teaching style but sometimes the students in the class that drag things too long. If you're bored and enjoy sports, go to his office hours lol He will convince you the Leafs are the greatest team ever LOL ....Go Wings Go DrB!

So this is a midterm comment. I just received my grade for the midterm and 1st paper. I received an A on both. This guy rocks. If you come to lecture, take advantage of the slides and study guides he gives you weekly than you will be fine. It's students who slack and complain that do poor. He is extremely helpful and provides great examples!

it is actually refreshing to have a prof who can relate to his students. this guy has helped me outso much in terms of prepping for exams, editing my papers.....and most importantly providing me with advice about grad school. I was a bt hesitant to look into grad school opportunities but after talking to dr. beliciu, this has changed my perspective

Prof Beliciu is awesome, however the text book for this class is terrible. It's a US based text, which means many of the stats in the text are based on American findings. It provides no examples, but if you go to lecture he gives you examples of everything pretty much. Two exams, 2 papers (1 small). As long as you follow instructions it's easy.

Prof Beliciu is absolutely awesome. Slides are posted online, weekly study guides are helpful....and the exams are extremely fair. I met with him a few times for help. Exam scores are posted the same day! I absolutely loved this class...thank you professor beliciu!

Rocks, he absolutely rocks! If his name is offered, take his course. I have never had so many study guides, and helpful notes. Seriously what you read about him on here is true. He is so fair, and consistent. If you put the effort you can do well. Prof with a touque lol gotta love it

Final Exam done at 2 pm....final grades posted 3 hours later. He is awesome, and puts some of the profs I've had to shame. Go to class, take notes, read the book. If you slack you will struggle. Yuppp, good eye candy as well

Really cool prof. Had him for child development in the summer as well. Really provides you with a lot of resources. We did a group project which was pretty straight forward. He helped us along the way which was great. I have an A going into the final. He was really approachable as well.

What you read on here is pretty accurate. If you can take any of the developmental courses really try to take his class. Exams are multiple choice and they are not cumulative either. Only downfall is he's a Yankees fan (who does that lol) Definitely chirp him about it, he'll love it

I had him for intro stats, child, and adolescent development. I absolutely love this guy. If you want to take a class that is straight forward slides, lecture, small paper and multiple choice exams than take him. If you have the chance definitely take any of his courses.

HOT FOR SURE! He's an extremely nice person, very funny and approachable as well. Lectures are pretty straight forward. I missed 5 lectures because of work but still did well. This course is pretty much common sense when it comes to development. Easy paper as well. He is also a Leafs fan!

You will get your midterm, final exam, and final course grade the same day you take your exams. No idea why other profs cannot do this. Would definitely take him again.

Great prof! He is very clear as to what is going to be on the midterm and final. Going to class is beneficial, he puts slides online but he provides the "full slides" in class and also will tell you if something will be on the midterm, but going to class is not necessary. Marks are up the night of the exam! He's hilarious and very helpful, awesome.

Awesome, this class is finishing up and it has been awesome. You get slides, study guides, exam reviews etc. You have a small paper and all the resources are provided for you. The media clips were really interesting, and if you miss them he posts them online. He is really there to help students out!

Class is awesome. I have him for both adolescence and parenting, and both courses were great. Two exams and a paper in each course. I would definitely take his course. This may sound weird but he smells amazing lol

Lectures went by fast - exceptional speaker. Gives out extra slides in the powerpoints if you attend the lectures. Gives out bonus marks on media days. Midterms are easy if you do you work - reading the textbook is essential! Really specific for the paper...

Awesome, two exams and a group project was extremely fair. He goes out of the way to help students. Each week he met with groups to make sure they were on track and was extremely helpful. I've never had a prof be so helpful in terms of going above and beyond. Countless study guides, tips, bonus points, all to help out students. He is legit!

Definitely respected by students. I challenge anyone to find a prof who gets your exams and assignments back faster. You will have your exam score back hours after taking it. We had an issue in our group project and he resolved it so quickly because he actually cares. This was actually a really fun course to take. Taking him again in the Winter!

Dr. Beliciu is a good professor. He is funny and really good at explaining things. He posts study guides for everything but his tests are not too easy. What really sucks is he only posts parts of his lecture slides and makes you copy down stuff in class and there is A LOT to copy down (and he doesn't give you too much time to do it in)

Love this guy! Two exams and one course paper you have 2 months to complete. . If you read the chapters before class you will be fine. I would laugh at those around me who would write every possible thing down. You have to prep to succeed. I went to office hours on purpose sometimes cause he is good looking (smells great LOL). Really nice prof, and very fair. I've had no complaints with him. I've received an "A" in all his courses. Really no complaints on my end. It's either you do the work or you do not. This class really prepared me for the next level developmental courses. Always made time to help out if needed.

He is a great man. We wrote the final exam last night and the final grades are posted in the morning. What more could you ask for as a student honestly? He's definitely respected by students for this. Great lectures, very informative, would definitely take his class again.

Everything is pretty consistent on here. My friends and I all did really well in his course. His exam questions are directly from lecture, so if you do not come to class well you're in trouble. We all got A's so I have nothing to complain about. Very interesting course in my opinion.

He is my fav professor at Windsor. I wish he taught more courses here to be honest. We had two exams and a course paper that was 8-10 pages long. You have nearly three months to complete the paper. If you want to learn something and have a consistent schedule than I definitely suggest taking him.

Would not take again, he was a great guy and teacher but the exams had information that I had never seen in my life. Also expected you to know all the names of researchers, never had I had a teacher expect that of you. Nearly failed the final, was mind blown.

I thought it was extremely fair. He pretty much tells you what will be on the exams. Also helped me out with regards to questions about life after undergrad. Pretty intelligent man IMO. I've had a lot tougher classes in two years that's for sure. Anyone who complains is crazy or just lazy to be honest.

Had him about a year ago for developmental psych. He structures all his courses the same, small paper and two exams. I enjoyed the course. If you have a heavy load of classes its good to have something like this in between if you're trying to fast track.

I had him for 223/224 and received an A in both courses. Took him last fall for 46-327 Parenting. The class was one night a week (3 hours). We had a group project to work on, so he made sure each week he allocated time to work on it. Two exams, one group paper 18-20 pages (but you have 8 people in a group). Definitely one of the best at Windsor.

He will do everything to help "the student". If you have any problems or questions he responds to emails immediately. Exam grades are posted the same day (seriously no other profs will do this). No attendance, midterm, final exam and you have the entire semester to work on a 8-10 page paper which he lays out completely for you on how to do it.

I absolutely love this man. Had him for the parenting course. Midterm, Final Exam and a group paper that you have the entire semester to work on. He gives you time each week to get together with your group members. He does a great job by breaking down a three hour class each week. He is young, cute, and very approachable. Seriously take him!

Good guy, mixes the lectures up pretty good. Thought he was extremely interesting with his examples. Two examples and a course paper due at the end of the semester. Have him again for anothe course this fall.

Took the parenting course last year. It was definitely interesting. Two exams and a group project (which you get to work on in class). Exams can be tricky, but it's a third year course not an intro course so you shouldn't come into it thinking it will be a breeze. I would recommend him for sure. He was extremely fair with everyone.

I have prof Beliciu this semester, and he has been amazing so far. He is hilarious, extremely informative, and an exceptional speaker. This class has been everything what former students have told it would be. Looking forward the remainder of the semester.

Professor Beliciu is an absolute amazing individual and a huge asset to the department of psychology. This is the third course I am taking with him, and I absolutely love the man. He really wants the best for his students, and will do whatever it takes to provide them with the resources needed to succeed. I would definitely recommend him.

He is the nicest man in the psychology department. I am a very emotional person, and this prof made me cry in a good way. He said the most down to earth, supportive comments regarding a group project (we did really well on), and basically singled out each individual for doing so well. Professor Beliciu had great lectures. They were always interesting and straight forward. Going to class helps, although he provides great slides, lecture summaries and study guides. Solid prof I found the paper pretty complicated, final wasn't cumulative.

I really enjoyed taking his course, this midterm was easy if you went to class and took notes. The class average was a 70! The Lit review paper was really easy because he gives you sample papers of what he wants. He is also really helpful if you go to his office hours. Would definitely recommended taking adolescent psychology with him!

You will not find a more easier third year course. If you do the work there is no way you cannot score in the 80-90% range. Grades are posted within 24hours of taking exams, responses to emails within minutes. If you need help he is totally accessible.

I have taken many classes from him and I can honestly say his classes easy A for very little effort! Finally a prof that gets that we have lives and makes his classes simple and easy to dim Only issue is that the tests have a lot of spelling mistakes and grammatical problems, but I could follow just fine.

Just finishing up this course for intersession. I really enjoyed his teaching style for a 6-week course. The course paper was easy to follow, the midterm exam came straight from his lecture slides. I would definitely recommend this course.

Took his Developmental Psychology-The Child and it was the best class ever ! One midterm worth 35%, 8 page essay worth 20% and a Final worth 45%, all the information you need to know come from the slideshows, MEMORIZE THEM and you will get an A !

He's a little cocky but super funny and approachable. He tries a little too hard to be a 'cool' and relatable prof. Overall he is pretty good, he knows his stuff and gives a lot of examples. He is a fair marker and doesn't test anything he didn't cover in lecture. He's a nice guy and a good prof.

Overall, you can't go wrong picking a course with him. He knows his stuff, and he's friendly. I'd recommend going to class because the slides posted are missing info you'll only get from in-lecture slides. He only tests on content he has taught, and his paper criteria are super clear. In class examples show up on tests too. A solid course choice.

He basically helped our group each week reach our goal. Very helpful and responds to emails instantly. As a parent it was nice to learn some reasoning behind things I dealt with growing up. I enjoyed the class.

I am an SAS student and employee in the office who has taken three of his courses. I feel it is imperative to indicate how he is extremely accommodating and helpful to all students especially SAS students. There is a comment here that states he does not help SAS students. This is far from the truth and should be removed. Thank you Prof Beliciu!

I had a really difficult semester in general. A lot of personal issues back home that put a strain on my academics. Whether it was during office hours or just after class he would sit and just listen to me. He probably doesnt realize how much that actually meant to have someone listen to me. Sounds crazy but he really helped me out this semester.

Final exam was done at 2pm and final grades were posted by 9pm same day. You have to appreciate this. He's a good prof and is very structured. Go to class, study the slides, and follow the sample paper. If you do all these steps you should have no issues. I would recommend him for sure.

He was a really awesome prof! He basically took questions for all of the lecture slides, and the exam isn't cumulative! I really recommend, and I suggest going to class because he gives really important hints for midterms and exams. The text book is recommended, I did use it however, and it helped me understand examples and concepts a lot better!

Wednesday night class that is structured to have a midterm, group project, and final exam. Each week he meets with the groups to make sure everyone is on task. The specifications for the paper are simple. Follow the sample papers and you will do fine. He was a good prof, and definitely helped out our group throughout the semester.

He tells you exactly how to study for the final exam. Put the effort in and you will get an A.

Took child psych with him over the summer, great guy. Exams are very fair, and slides are heavy in content. Loved the guy and his style of teaching. Didnt do as well as I wanted to but more studying could definitely have been done on my part. Some profs really do make a positive difference :)

He shows dedication and compassion for his students. The material and lectures are straightforward. If you show up to class, you will get a good grade.

Professor Beliciu is an engaging teacher with knowledgeable skills in the realm of developmental psychology. His lectures are very entertaining and he brings real-world examples into the classroom. I would recommend showing up to class though, most of the topics he covers are on his slides and are mostly fill in the blanks. Overall, amazing prof!

Daniel is a great prof and Child Psych is a very interesting class. You are graded on a midterm (35), Paper (20) and Final (45). The midterm is probably the easiest assessment so do well on that. Paper is not difficult but FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS WORD FOR WORD. Final is a bit tricky though. Make sure you attend class as all MC comes from lectures.

Overall great class and great prof. Everything is laid out for you to do well in this course. Take advantage of the materials and you will be fine.

I was in his Child Psych class and I loved it. He posted his Powerpoints online before class and would post updated ones with audio files of him explaining each slide. I got a perfect mark on the research paper and the rubric was really easy to follow. The midterm and exam were multiple choice and he was clear on what was going to be on them.

Overall great class that is structured incredibly easy to follow. Would highly recommend.

Amazing professor! Very interesting lectures where almost all of the material for examinations are from. Will relate lecture slides to his own experiences and family so it always makes sense. Reasonable with what he expects from you. I would love to take another class taught by Professor Beliciu.

Online intersession has been excellent. We had the materials for the entire semester a week before classes officially began. Everything has been structured to follow in an easy way. Would totally recommend taking another class with him.
