It’s apparent that teaching isn’t his love, but he still good at it. He’s a dynamic speaker.
Very good professor, interesting to listen to and very helpful with questions.
Mr. Currie is a warmhearted and interesting teacher. Students can learn the course in comfortable environment. All students can get A in the tests
Excellent professor - was a lawyer in the past and has good perspective of communicating ethics. Understands most students have full time jobs and keeps material managable. Four on-line tests and a paper for the couse. Don't hessitate to take this professor.
This class was easy I made an A and I did the work the day before it was due. Sometimes your get confused on the instructions so take a look 2 days before its due to ask the TA a question and thats my only advice. easy class follow the book and its instructions and ask people around for thier opinions on things.
LAW 4350 with Daniel Currie is an easy A! I made an B on teh first exam and a C on the second bc alot of material. Never read the book, just his packets. Focus on the paper make an A, check ur mistakes and re submit it, its worth alot and so is the group project. Easy A!
This class is really not that hard. In fact, I think it would make more sense if they made it a distance learning class & put it online. It's kind of pointless to have it in class, but Professor Currie does a good job of keeping people discussing, which makes it interesting.
Laid back professor...a lil too laid back, tried to make lots of jokes in class. I figured its alot easier to read the book and learn the material outside of class rather than to show up. There's a ton of work, reading, and theres alot of writing involved.
Terrible class, you learn nothing during class. You might as well read everything by yourself cause what he says during class is nothing relative to whats on the test. You should read the online lectures. Tests are really hard, and writing assignments are due. Get ready for a ton of work with no help during class.
REALLY BAD PROFESSOR. U might as well teach urself. Going to class is useless because he only tells nonsense jokes and there is a lot of work to do with no help at all. At the beginning u will feel lost and he won't even try to help, he will jus tell you to email the TA. DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!!!!
I left the class with virtually no understanding of law. The majority of my time was wasted writing about utilitarianism, which has no place in business. I found numerous grammatical errors in his boss? course materials. The student graders did a poor job of grading subjective ethical papers. You are forced to take the class. Have fun.
Class was pointless. Over the summer, there are too many papers in too little time. Read the book, teach yourself, and pray that even if you follow the guidelines for the paper you're do well. Stupid jokes, graders suck, and organization of the class is so messy it's ridiculous! I wouldn't take this class if it wasn't required.
I enjoyed the class. No one is going to teach you the law. You have to teach yourself. All you have to do is read the book! Going to class was fun because it was mostly an exercise in the application of the text that was assigned. More classes should be this way. Lots of discussions; he wants to know your opinion and thoughts on the topics.
Going to his class was quiet boring, but he's a funny guy and makes silly jokes (so it's not that bad!). Plus it's only once a week! The papers were rough, and I saw some inconsistency when being graded (they're graded by a third party, not Curry). The tests are extremely EASY. STUDY THE QUIZZES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The far better choice between him and the other teacher (Whisenant?). Very nice, intelligent, engaging, and helpful professor that wants his students to do well. I'd take GENB in the summer. A little stringent on the written assignments, but overall, you'll be glad you took this class and this professor.
This was my easier class this semester. I didnt even hardly come to class causes this class is boring. He trying to make it interesting but the subject just sucks. As long as you do the assignment and the test you will have an A.I wrote the assignments the day before they were do and I got As.He drops lowest test and assignemen So you will make an A
He's the easiest professor I've ever taken in UH. The subject is boring but he's funny and makes jokes all the time. Generously giving extra credit and big curve. I'm not good at laws or writing essay but still manage to get an A-. Study the quizzes and everything will be fine
E.A.S.Y. Papers are easy, tests are common sense, extra credit for attendance (which the class is interesting) I'd take this class again. Hybrid class.
Incredibly easy class. Essays can be written in a matter of minutes, and the grading is so lenient (a paper given a 'C' grade still gets you 45/50 points). Aside from the first exam, nearly all questions come verbatim from the practice quizzes. Funny guy, but boring class, and attendance isn't required. He's retooling the course post-Spring 13'
It is really easy class. The professor is prety nice. I do not know how to say Curries is a hard professor.
Hybrid course, 5 assignments and 3 exams, he drops lowest assignment and exam score so essentially 2 exams and 4 assignments, clicker questions in class for bonus points, two quizes early on over syllabus and Bauer Code. Very fair on assignment grading and grading scheme overall. Really enjoyed his lectures.
Prof. Currie is a nice guy. Hybrid class, attendance not mandatory but gives bonus clicker points which help a lot. Papers and exams are really only grading points in class. Very structured syllabus. Stay up to date on the syllabus and you will be fine.
This class is a little harder than the first GENB, but still easy to get an A. Go to class for clicker points, and Professor Currie does a good job of injecting humor to the material to make it interesting. Essays are very leniently graded; I had so many criticisms on mine but my lowest grade was a 45/50. Test questions are mostly from the book.
If you are little baby who often lies about knowing when assignments are due, this is not the class for you. He sends out numerous emails to remind you, synced to BB. Class is harder than previous semesters and you must buy the online book. You can pass without the book if you do not care about your GPA.
Awful professor. The problem is he just isn't clear in his instructions. It was confusing how he mentioned citations all the time but didn't explain if he wanted us to use them or not for a paper that really doesn't require them. Too much work for one class. Your life will revolve around GENB. Unclear.
5 writing assignments (drops lowest) and is leniently graded, 3 exams (read book chapters, dont worry theyre short reads), practice online quizzes (google Essentials of business law information center: book preface), lots of extra credit (clickers & helios video cases). I think it is pretty easy and he's a great professor. I'd recommend this class.
Would definitely take again. Professor Currie is such an amazing teacher. Bauer quiz, 3 exams, 5 written assignments(he drops one), and 4 helio quizzes - everything else is extra credit! The assignments are SUPER easy, and he practically spoon feeds you on what to write. I absolutely loved this class.
Currie ended up being one of my favorite profs. The papers are easy and example papers he posts help to know whats expected. Tests are pretty easy too. Not sure why people are saying you have to devote all your time to this class, I barely spent any timeeffort on it, don't need to. In-class clickers every week.
This class is the equivalent to those annoying & useless yearly training modules required at work about a completely unnecessary topic that is all common sense yet tedious to do. I don't understand why this is a senior class if I am learning the same things I have learned in the first GENB when i was a sophomore. Ridiculous but required for graduat
If you have minimum time management skills you will make an A in this class. Went to class the first day only, wrote the super easy papers, did the quizzes, read the book chapters the day before the test and looked through that link he gives with T/F and chapter questions (alll memorization) and got an A. Take him, super easy A.
You may need to do 5 writing assignments and some others. This class is easy, but you can learn about business law, and it's really helpful. Personally, I just focused on his class and read his ppt files. That's enough. Clicker points and attendance are optional.
So basically this is one of those classes you really do not need. I do not understand why this is a required class when it is such a blow off class. Attendance is not required and we do not even have tests. A waste of money on the class and on the ebook.
Really Easy GPA booster
The course has changed. It is not as easy as it once was. You must read the book to be able to answer questions on the timed quizzes. There is also a comprehensive final now. Currie does not give review for the final. He advises to do well on the learn smarts to be successful on the Final Exam. This class is no longer an easy A like it used to be!!
This class has changed. There is so much work. I thought it would be an interesting class but it is by far the worst class I have ever taken. You have to read 5 chapters a week to even pass. WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER TAKEN. He does nothing - everything is on connect, but you can't Google the questions so you really have to read textbook. AVOID!!!
AVOID AT ALL COST!!! Horrible professor. UH needs to get rid of him. He is crazy hard - we had no idea where the final exam questions even came from. This class is the only class that I have not gotten an A in, and I took this my senior year.
Prof. Currie is a great professor. He is always available if you have any questions. If you send him an email, he typically responds in a few hours. He makes an effort to make sure all of his students understand the expectations of the course. He sends out a lot of reminders, so that you don't miss deadlines. I would highly recommend him.
Easy A, but be prepared to do 2/3 homeworks, 2/3 quizzes and 2/3 learnsmarts. Also, there are 4 essays assignments. However, this professor is golden. He cares about his students and puts in the effort to make sure you get a good grade. Take the sunday off to do all the work due that day. This class isn't difficult just ALOT of busy work.
Online course, just busy work. Quizzes, homework, exercises every week with the occasional paper sprinkled in. Nice guy for sure.
No exams! Lots of homework, quizzes and learnsmarts. If you do the work you pass. Easy class, but time consuming. Also there are 4 essays to write, which are also really easy.
This class is based off of papers, quizzes, learnsmarts, and homework. The papers aren't that bad, but the quizzes can be kind of tricky. However, if you complete all the assignments and get above 900 points the final becomes optional!!
I took this class online and it is a lot of work. Weekly learnsmart quizzes, homework, and extra credit. Along with video cases once a month and 4 papers. The papers are similar to each other, so they are just time consuming. Also, there is a cumulative online final at the end. Overall this class is time consuming so work ahead while you can!
very good professor
Get an awesome hard working group and this course will be an A for you. It isn't easy work since you do have to do two major writing projects with the group. Just stay on top of your deadlines and work efficiently with your group and you will be fine.
All assignments are clear and laid out for the entire semester. Work at your own pace. Lots of online work. Be prepared to spend 1 - 2 hours per week on this class and you will get an easy A. If less than an A, you are just lazy
-he is very accessible -4 papers (4th 2th and 3rd papers combined) -DO the learnsmart and HW (at the end they are EC) -connect quizes every week sometimes 2 quizzes -u have all semester to take learsmart and HW but do not leave them til' the end.. they will accumulate -final has like 95 questions and only 1:30 min so 1 min per question..
There is an easy group project to do a business simulation, super easy and pretty fun. Everything is on Mindtap: watch videos, read chapters, and answer questions on Mindtap. Then do 4 writing assignments throughout the semester. Very straight forward class. Simple and educational.
Easy class but simulation was a scam. U pay $45 for the simulation. I received a zero because my "teammates" don't know how to respond to emails, which he mistaked for nonparticipation. No partial credit. Spends the semester focusing on ethics, yet indirectly scammed me for $45 dollars. How ironic. Team signup process needs a change for Pete's sake
Currie is a solid choice. Syllabus is clear. However, I do feel for the person who received a zero for the simulation 2 reviews below. This aspect of the class is flawed. I know people who did not participate in the sim still received a 100. Im surprised this hasnt been mentioned before but this is clearly something that needs attention. plz fix
The class overall was easy, just a lot of work. Weekly assignments on mindtap cengage, 4 essays, a simulation and final exam (60 questions). The simulation process was horrible, though I got full credit, I was anxious the entire time because my group members weren't responsive. It also costed $45 and I felt like I learned nothing from it.
Super easy class. I dont see how people get Bs in this course? Do all homework and papers!! Awesome prof!
Awesome professor. Has 4 papers but all are easy if you do your research. Hw is time consuming but really easy. Final is cumulative but not hard at all. Group simulation is easy.
This was a real blow off class. Writing assignments and the comprehensive final, which is held in CASA, could be overwhelming. Other then that this is an easy class.
Super easy online class. Weekly Sunday homework, 4 papers, group simulation, 3 online exams, and extra credit opps. He reminds you pretty often when everything is due. Id take it again just because it was 1) manageable 2) super easy 3) interesting.
By far the easiest class I have ever taken! You have assignments and exams on Cengage but it shouldn't be a hassle since it's online. There is also four essays and a simulation you have to do as well. Extra credit is offered too! Stay on track on everything and you're guaranteed to pass!
Online class and he is a gift, so take during your most difficult semester. Three tests, 4 papers, lots of homework. Everything is on line so if you don't get an A, you didn't even try. Extra credit opportunity for volunteering at the Houston Food Bank worth 8 points on top of your total grade. Quick to respond to emails.
Take this class for an easy A. All answers are found online, so the hardest part is copying and pasting the questions. Easiest class I have taken by far.
Paper are a little bit hard but the first 3 are drafts for you final one which is worth double the other 3. Assignments are online and easy, one simulation project in teams.
I took the online summer class. It was a pretty simple class. Every Wednesday you post one question on PackBack, Friday you submit a paper with detailed instructions, and Sunday you answer two questions on PackBack and finish all work for Mindtap. This class is so easy because alot is based on your opinion or easily looked up answers. TAKETHISCLASS
I loved this professor. Class is easy, just do the work. 4 papers, 1 simulation, 3 or 4 tests. Everything is online. If you don't make an A you just didn't try.
easy class take during a hard semester because its a blowoff
Homework heavy course, all answers on quizlet though & he reopens them at the end of semester if you missed. 4 papers throughout, but 3 of them build on each other with the same prompt, you can literally copy paste. + 1 extra reflection paper over simulation or food bank volunteering. Fairly easy class. Kind professor who cares, TAKE HIM
Professor Currie is very helpful when it comes to writing an excellent paper. He has 4 writing assignments which are generally alike, and one final group paper. Would take again and he did make me a better writer!
There were some students who complained that he was not clear on his assignments. This is the easiest class if you read instructions, his FAQs has answer to most of your questions. 4 papers + 1 reflection paper + lots of assignments on cengage.
The class is graded on homework and essays. There are no exams
Hands down the best Prof. His instructions are pretty clear and he tends to send reminders through email. If there is any confusion on anything, he is quick to reply and very kind. Not intimidating. His critiques on essays are very helpful. He makes you think outside of the box. Enjoyed this class. if you fail, that's just an smh.
Easy summer course. Weekly activities on Mindtap due every Friday. 4 quizzes due every Wednesday w forty Q's each. Two chances to do quizzes. Four essays about 500 words each on ethics, 2 are drafts to the final and 1 reflection paper. Final paper is about 1700 words or more but you can copy parts of drafts to use on last paper
I learned absolutely nothing in this class. Absolute waste of my time and money. Only took it because I needed the credit. Professor did not even lecture at ALL. Had to read the textbook and weekly quizzes on mindtap. Worst professor ever. Not to mention, he is a tough grader so good luck with your essays.
Took him in the summer and enjoyed it! There are a bunch of essays but he gives great feedback. Quizzes are pretty easy and homeworks are a breeze! Take time and improve your essays once he gives you feedback!
I don't think this class could've been any easier. He grades easy, 2 analytical papers with very clear instructions. HW on cengage, 4 Quizzes - open book and super easy. There's no way you can't make an A + in this class. Took this class in Summer. Just take him. VERY EASY A!!!!
He is a good professor, but you have to work to get the A. The quizzes are hard, but the essays aren't too bad. There is also a lot of homework. You have to put in effort and time to get the A basically. No extra credit sadly
An absolute gem. His class was a break from my major-specific classes which are all accounting based. Just do everything he recommends and you will do well!
few papers and a couple tests. easy class as long as you keep up with homeworks that are due each week!
Took MANA3335 mini-mester. 10/10 recommend. There are weekly homework, paper, and 2 quizzes. He grades the paper really well, if you put effort, there is no reason why you would not get an A.
The semester not even over and IK I got A+ class was easy, 2 hw weekly and 3 exams and ec was available. He sent us weekly reminders.
There are alot of assignments assigned per week, but manageable. The assignments have 2 tries and are pretty direct. The exams are a little hard but not too bad. Pretty easy writing assignments. He can be picky with the writing assignments.
I received an A in this class. At the end of the semester, my numerical grade came out how I thought it would but the grade book said I received an A-. I emailed Prof Currie and he said he added an assignment last minute and didn't bother to tell anyone. All other students are just as confused as I am about grades being taken away at the very end.
easy class, every week you have a ton of mindtap to do, its just busy work tho some on quizlet. then occasionally you have quizzes that are all on quizlet and you have a few essays which are a bit annoying. they all build off each other so start off strong bc that will be the base for the rest of ur papers. hes an ok grader not the easiest
Great professor & a great class. 3 papers that build off of each other, 4 simple quizzes: 50 questions in an hour, and MindTap HW due every week that's also very easy. Make sure to keep up with the homework and do well on the quizzes because those account for 40% of your grade, while the 3 papers altogether count for 20% total, not each.
Easy class to be honest. Super nice professor. Easy grading, and lenient. 3 papers worth 20% which are really easy. 3 quizzes worth 40%, which are also really easy. and then he has his HW which is every sunday, which takes 30 minutes. Super easy. great professor. Easy A
This class was pretty easy. Everything is on MindTap, the homework's can be a little time consuming because there's around 5 each week, but it isn't bad and isn't hard. The test are pretty easy, I did not study for them and got A's, they are not on lockdown browser, and you get 2 chances on the test. There is 1 paper, but it is graded easy!Goodluck
Professor Currie is a respectful and funny guy. The weekly assignments are on MindTap, along with 4 quizzes. This class is easy, and your assignments are due Sunday night. Easy reflection paper worth 11 points of your grade. I took this class for my business administration minor. TAKE Professor Currie!!
Easy A! Easy homework due every week. When the class didn't perform well on the first test, he extended the time allowed, and gave us 2 chances at every test. Immediate feedback on grades because it is all through Cengage. He was friendly in his announcements. Take him!
Just take this man. He was so nice and the workload is not too much. We had one paper to write which was not bad at all and weekly assignments. Easy A
Weekly HW due every Thursday and quizzes due every Friday. Gives you emails to remind you of due dates. He is a really nice Professor! Take him. I recommend.
Grade consists of weekly homework and 4 quizzes. That's it. To do the hw you definitely need to read the textbook, which has helped me learn about management quite a lot! Even though I'm not a MANA major, I definitely enjoyed the layout of this online class. Do not slack off on hw though, because it is half of your grade. Overall, great class.
There are MindTap chapters homework due every week. There is usually at least two chapters due in one week but they are simple and easy. He also has writing assignments where he gives good feedback on how to improve for the last writing assignment. Fun and generous professor.
He is amazing! The course is set up in a way that is easy to navigate from accessing textbooks to doing the assignments / quizzes. 4 quizzes that are worth 50% of your grade along with online chapter assignments that count as 50% towards grade. Overall an easy A. Must take!
Daniel Currie is a very good professor who communicates with his students exceptionally. I took his online summer class and his grading criteria was super clear and concise. Weekly homeworks due every Saturday and only 3 tests. Much of his homeworks are available online with quizlet and chegg. Easy A as long as you do not wait till the last day.
Took this class as a mini session last winter, very easy. Make sure to do the homework, it is easy along with the exams. Overall, this class was an easy A and went by really quick. Also, the professor is very accessible to answering any concerns.
The entire course was on Cengage. It was an easy A so a great GPA boost, but I feel like I wasted money on the course and didn't take a lot away.
Very good teacher, weekly homework, clear grading criteria. Overall easy class, just keep up with workload.
Prof. Currie makes his online class much easier regarding what is required to pass the course. Although, his online assignments are challenging if you ignore the textbook. There are 1-2 chapters due every week. There are no midterms, just 50%HW and 50% quizzes. It's open notes. Be on top of those assignments, as they are long.
Professor Currie seems like a very chill professor. Everything is on MindTap including homework assignments and quizzes. Grading criteria is very simple to follow (it's 50% of homework assignments and 50% of quizzes). There are about 4 homework assignments due every week; and only 4 quizzes throughout the semester. The class is a breeze take him.
One of the most accessible classes I've ever taken. We had a few homework on MindTap due every week, and they were super easy (search them up.) 4 quizzes for the whole course, which were also on MindTap and not PROCTORED. Overall, take him!!!
Literally the easiest class ever, just do the assignments and you will get an A. It is all Cengage assingemnts.
Four 60 Q un-proctored exams w/ only 60 min. (Stressful). HW is hard considering he averages each attempt instead of choosing the best grade. HW is time consuming and viewed as stressful w/ only 4 days to read chs., take notes, and complete hw and videos. No extra credit is given. Very blunt in his emails. Does round average grade. No final exam.
I would take this professor again. All assignments are online and are straightforward if you read the material. Make sure you do your assignments before the due dates and do your quiz on time. The professor made it clear that he would not reopen assignments or give full credit if late. But i never had that issue! Take him for an easy A.
Winter Mini was 50% quiz (open note, no lockdown) and 50% hw assignments. You'll be fine if you do your assignments early and don't procrastinate.
You will have lots of homework throughout the semester as well as 4 exams, but it was all very manageable so don't let that scare you. Everything is online, and as long as you have good time management skills this class will be a breeze. I always managed to get all my homework done within one to two days. Take him, breathe, you got this!
All Cengage assignments. Exams are also on Cengage. The assignments are straight forward and you're given a week to complete them which is more than enough to get them done. Have good time management and get the work done early. He is great.
The only reason I don't give a 5 is because 1. He doesn't have much to say about essay feedback since we use TurnitIn and 2. The class really conflicted with my classes at PES. Cengage stuff so easy to blow through with time. Exams are pretty chill with the right resources. Just do the work and it should be an easy A.
I took this class during the winter minimester of 2022. This is a very good professor and the class was a breeze.
Hated the amount of assignments in this class, nonetheless should've been an easy A if I didn't slack off.
A professor you must take! All you have to do is your online homework and take quizzes. Very good professor. Easy learning.
very easy class. all assignments are on a website called MindTap. You have a weekly assignment for the chapter and then 4 quizzes total and no final exam.
I really liked taking this class. Weekly homework is easy and the essays are not too difficult either.
Took this online, super easy class! 50% of grade is quizzes (4) and the other half is the weekly homeworks. Since the class is easy its not hard stuff that you need to know. Would def take this class again.
Class is an Easy A with homework and 3 essays
Good class. Homework is easy, but Quizzes are a bit difficult. Still a great class.
Superb class!!
Took as a Summer II course. Didn't get the best grade- but also had things going on during the summer.
Took the winter mini-session and got an A- with 0 effort if the assignments weren't locked you could finish everything in under 5 hours of homework barely taking any knowledge mostly common sense.
would take class again. class isnt that hard and finished with an A
TAKE THIS FOR MINIMESTER u wont regret it. no reason why you shouldn't get an A. You can procrastinate till the very end to do your homework and it won't even be an issue (don't do that tho). Just get everything done for the week when you can, quizzes are SO easy, (not lockdown, take that as you will). textbook helps more than quizlet on hw!!
I took Professor Currie's class asynch and it was really easy. There were no tests, just 3 ethical papers (the papers are all related to each other though), and weekly Mindtap homework due every Saturday. The grading on the papers was very reasonable. If you do the work, the class is a really easy A.
took it async -- so easy! everything is super straightforward and all the assignments are simple and easy to do. class consisted of multiple weekly assignments (all due on saturday), but it's all doable. no essays or exams either.
Very homework and note heavy, but there is no reason to not pass this class. Make sure to invest in a planner and write down all the weekly assignments due weekly or you will get behind. There are no tests, just 4 quizzes and each quiz are over whatever section those few weeks were about. No lockdown responder.
Took MANA3335 during the May mini. I have one last quiz but I'll end with an A regardless. As long as you do the HW and do decent on the quizzes you should end with an A. Never studied and it was a super easy class.
Took this as a summer mini and such an easy class. I was worried at first because it's 50% assignments and 50% quiz grade but it went find no matter how many I missed on each assignment or quiz. He also offered a 2 point bonus so your grade could go from a 89 to a 91. I cannot recommend enough! Take this class!
I wish I could take Professor Currie for every class. Took his summer mini and though it was time consuming, I ended up getting an amazing grade and was able to even pad my final grade by two points due to an available extra credit opportunity. Class is done through MindTap which makes having all learning resources in one place a breeze.
Took Professor Currie in the Summer semester. Highly recommend. Easy A.
did use textbook some assignments were a bit confusing but perfect minimester class take it get it out of your way trust.
This class is easy! Take it!
easy online class. had about 15 homeworks every week, only takes 30 mins total. 3 papers. each paper piggybacks off the one prior. apply corrections and you'll get an A on essays. u can use parts of old papers on ur next ones. exams are 50 question true/false quizzes. open note, browser, book. everything. no lockdown browser or camera for these.
Take him, extremely easy class. No exams, only online hws and open note quizzes.
Currie was great, weekly homework is easy but a lot. Tests weren't lockdown and open book/note. Three papers but they were easy and all related to eachother. Prof Currie is one of the best at Bauer.
easiest class ever. 5-10 assignments a week online but very easy, it'll take 90 mins a week max. 4 exams that are open note and not lockdown. i would definitely take him again
Very easy class if you stay on top of due dates. There is 4 tests, all open book. There is a lot of homework, but it won't take you too long. They open every week on Saturday and its normally 5-6 assignments a week. They can be easily done in 90min. Just stay on top of the homework and you will be good. You are only graded on homework and tests.
The professor was super cool and approachable through email, always ready to help with any questions. The course was straightforward, and I learned a lot thanks to the great feedback provided. It was easy—just have to put in a small effort, and you'll get an A. Highly recommend this class to anyone looking for an easy A!
The class consists of weekly homework, 3 papers, and tests weren't lockdown. Super chill and easy class, take him if you want an easy A!
Easy GPA booster mini-mester class. Everything is online and straight forward; just homeworks and quizzes. Professor is easy to communicate with; provides weekly briefings in the email. He sets his expectations clear and you know what is expected of you every week. Overall great course and professor.
I recommend taking the mini semester. Knocked this class out in 4 weeks, A+. If you give yourself enough time to do the assignment you will have no problems. Open book quizzes as well. Good luck.
Roughly 18 or so assignments each week, covering 2 chapters. As long as you give yourself enough time to compete the work it's not too bad. Close to all the answers were online. The papers weren't much worse. He sets clear and simple expectations, don't run yourself in circles trying to overanalyze the topics.
This course was relatively easy as long as you keep up and try. Professor Daniel Currie was a great professor that offers extra credit. He genuinely wants you to succeed in the course.
Super easy class, just have to remember to do the weekly MindTaps which can be a little annoying. Besides that, Professor Currie is a great professor, let's you submit assignments late and the tests are really straight forward and easy.
The class had a ton of busywork. That being said, not having any exams was very nice. We had to write three papers, and they were honestly graded a little more harshly than I expected. However, if you are consistent with the homework, papers, and quizzes this should be an easy A.
The class grading criteria was set out properly before the course had started. Very informative and the class is not difficult if you keep up with the work. Highly suggest this professor if you are taking MANA 3335 online.
This class was very informative and organized. The professor can be critical in giving feedback and grading the essays, however, the feedback makes the future essay assignments easier. Highly suggest this professor if you take it online.
Very easy class. There is a lot of homework, but it is easy to find on quizlet. 3 quizzes that are open-book. There are 3 papers you have to wright throughout the semester. They are tough, but that's literally the only real work you have to do in the semester.
Very easy async class, the only thing is he gives hella homework like 5-8 hw assignments due every Saturday, they only take 2 hours to do but just tedious, test online no webcam or LD, solid class.
Homework can be very tedious, along with the 4 quizzes but are easy enough to get done in a manageable amount of time. The 3 papers that you have to complete definitely require some time too, and can be annoying but they build on each other, so it's not too bad. Very reasonable professor, and also gave extra credit, you should definitely choose him
Great professor! There is a lot of homework, but very easy to do. The essays he assigned were all very simple, and he was very generous with his grading. This course made it really easy to balance other harder courses. You can tell he really cares about students, as he gave great feedback and reopened tests if students missed them. 10/10 professor!
Awesome class overall. Lots of homework can be done relatively quick, gives you a couple of attempts and are due Saturday. The writing isn't bad if you follow the examples and make sure you meet the criteria's. Some opportunities for extra credit and quizzes that make up your grade. Class works well with taking multiple classes.
Pretty straight forward class. Course work is kind of frustrating as he has multiple attempts for hw but it's all cumulative. It was doable same day it was due. The tests are timed, IMO he doesn't give enough time for the amount of questions (60 minutes for 55 questions), so you have to work pretty fast and study. Extra credit towards the end!
Overall, easy class. But, LOTS OF HW that can sometimes range from 1-2 chapters that are due every Saturday so it's very tedious to do. Exams are online on Canvas (no webcam or LockDown). Just get the assignments done beforehand to lighten the load for the day it's due. If you turn it in late points will be taken off as well. As I said, easy class.
Overall, the class was simple. Professor Currie did not post any lectures or PowerPoints. It was practically a self-taught class. Quizzes and homework are super easy. I will say, he did not round me .07 points to get an A. No rounding done whatsoever, the only extra credit was from an external survey.
I took MANA 3335 over the summer as a online course, and it was overall rather solid. I would be doing a disservice though if I didn't mention how abysmal, to put it politely, the textbook was. Like turn your brain off and turn in the assignments while you start to drool like an imbecile level. Apparently ALL MGMT textbooks are like this, though?!?
Professor Currie is great! His course is simple (read: not easy, simple). He does a great job of laying out the course requirements and giving periodic updates. He assigns homework every section, and a handful of quizzes. Do well on those and you've passed the course. No passes, no extensions, no excuses; if you are conscientious you'll do fine.
lots and lots of mindtap every week, so it's time consuming but not hard. exams are also exactly like the mindtap and material.
easy class there's just a lot of homework. 3 exams and a final. he responded to emails fairly quickly
Professor Currie, uses an online program to teach his class. The homework is not hard but some weeks is a lot. Also there are 4 quizzes that are 50 questions each with only 60 minutes to take the quiz. I was a 4.0 student until I took his class he will not bump your grade at all, and also does not offer any kind of extra credit at all.
Honestly looking at the assignments from first glance looks like a lot, BUT all of them take about 5-10 minutes to complete. No exams, just lots of homework and some quizzes which are open booked.
This professor is great because he provides us with clear contexts about business laws through readings, textbooks, writings, and quizzes. Because it is open book, you can use your notes and snip all assignments to help you answer quizzes.
Overall this was a great class. There are multiple homework assignments due every week, which are very easy. There are three major writing assignments that work off of each other, and relatively easy to do. The 4 major quizzes are open note and open book, and easy to complete if you do all of the homework.
lots of HW
The course material was easy but there was definitely a lot of homework so I wouldn't wait until the last minute to try and complete all of the homework. I enjoyed this course because no lectures were needed as all the homework built upon itself as I completed it so I didn't have too much trouble.
