I liked him, but he did not follow the book in lecture. Then the tests would contain questions from the book. I think he is just SO smart, it is hard for him to teach others. Avoid unless you want to self-teach.

He's a great professor. Curves almost every test & there's only 3 plus a final. Test questions are rather easy, they come from the homework. The homework isn't "due," but it's a good idea to do it so you'll know what to expect on the test. Drops lowest test grade, unless it's the final. Recomm.

Very funny and helpful. Will take any suggestions that you are willing to give and answers any questions you have. Tests are real easy and you don't have to do the HW, but it is recommended to do well on the test. Take his class.

I loved this class. by far my fav. teacher. teaches using examples, will keep going untill everyone gets it. Tests are fairly easy. right off the homework. final right off the tests. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!

He is a good teacher, that will help you anytime you need it, just go in his office. If you really want to do great do the homework it makes the test easier. 3 tests and final, drops the lowest test!

Calc I was difficult but he was a very nice guy and eager to help. He really wanted everyone to get it. He takes pride in his work. Tests were tough, but I am not a math wiz.

Wonderful. Makes learning math fun and easy. If you have problems he will go out of his way to help you. Absolutely must do the homework and take notes, if you do you will pass no problem. This man is hilarious! He is so quarky and energetic in class. He will go over things and say them in differnt ways until everyone in the class understands. He truly enjoys math and is always showing us things he thinks are really cool. He is always willing to help. His note are importants and most test questions are taken off notes.

INCREDIBLE Diff. Eq. professor! I can't even state how much more material I learned with him than a certain other professor. He is very intelligent, knows his stuff and really nice! He curves tests, the few quizes you have aren't hard at all. VERY energetic, lectures pretty fast, but gladly helps anyone during office hours. Don't miss class!

He's a good professor, but can overlecture on some topics. I don't like math, which made me not attend and that was definately a bad decision. make sure you go to class and do the homework if you are struggling! he has a very fair grading system although his tests are hard, there are massive curves.

Absolutely FANTASTIC professor! Very energetic and willing to go over things as many times as it takes so you understand. Really no surprises with this one. Just be prepared to write really fast, because lectures go by in a hurry. I recommend him for ANY Math course. I hope he teaches another course as I would love to have him as a prof again.

Endres- funny, caring, smart, but sometimes goes too fast. Tests are easy if u take good notes, (ask for help if you need it, and maybe even see the free math tutor). Recommend-probably one of the easiest genEd class (attendance 10% of grade)

Endres is seriously a genius, because of this it is sometimes hard to follow him. he gets really excited and goes off into random problems and when he's done the whole class has a blank face. i had to teach myself all the problems in the book, somehow i made a B. hes great but a little too great for me. very funny though.

Dr. Endres is an AMAZING professor. He is always in a good mood. Does go off on tangents but as long as you take good notes and do the homework your fine. Three tests,and final. All you have to do is attend class and take notes, and really pay attention to the stars. On tests gives you at least 7-10 questions actually on test.

He's extremely helpful. He sometimes gets off on weird tangents but if you don't understand something all you have to do is say so and he's more than willing to go back and help you.

I love Mr. Endres! Let me tell, I HATE math with a passion. But he is a such a good math teacher, that I was actually excited about going to class everyday. He explains things well. He doesn't make you fell stupid for asking a question. And he's a very nice man. Since I passed his class with a good grade, I know anybody can pass his class. lol

I was in Math for gen ed. Endres was extremely cool. Awesome math teacher and he knows and doesnt mind to break stuff down for math idiots! He has a great personality. He gets a little bored with teaching my class because he is good at it so i think he would be awesome for all levels

Had him for Math for Gen Ed. Its a good thing he's so entertaining, because the subject he teaches is a snooze fest. He's cool with people asking questions. Homework isn't graded, so you just have tests to save (or kill) your grade. Really though, this math isn't very hard.

I'll start off by saying that I'm terrible at math and always have been. Dr. Endres made this class not only bearable, but entertaining. He cares about each student--he knew each of us by name and always encouraged us to ask questions if we were confused. Homework was optional (never graded) and his test study guides were great. Take this guy!

Does a great job at explaining math for those of us who aren't mathematicians. All test material is from note taking. The book is pointless.

Awesome teacher. Understands the people in this class don't care about math. Didn't use the book once. If you come to class and get the notes you will be fine for the tests. Test for every few chapters but they aren't too bad.

Dr. Endres knows his stuff! I loved differential equations, and he did a wonderful job teaching the material. He is a professional, so he expects professional work from the student; surprise him with your efforts and he will reward you! I recommend familiarizing yourself with MATLAB and Maple to assist you in learning and homework production.

I am very deficient in Math and still making a high C in the class. He understands most of us do not care about math and a lot of the stuff he teaches is relevant to life....loans, mortgages etc. He is also extremely funny!

Fantastic professor. He covers every base so you aren't lost half-way through, and on occasion will throw in a very brief refresher. He knows his students aren't at his level and knows how to communicate despite that. He's also funny. He's equally flexible and fair with everyone, but don't expect exceptions without a very good reason. Take it.

This is a great guy and a great professor. If you like hockey take this class. He helps you out, especially on the final. Take good notes, study them along with the practice tests and you can make at least a B. Sudy more and make an A.

I had him for Math for Gen Ed. He is never boring and cares. The exams are a little tuff but he tells you what going to be on them before hand. attendance and exams are all he grades.

Best teacher ever! He taught practical information, and even if it was something you'd never use elsewhere, he made it very interesting! There is a ton of homework that he trusts you to do on your own. Do it! He related math to what was going on in world history when that part was discovered. It was by far the most interesting math class I've taken

Great professor, he is very nice and approachable. Although the class was a little hard for me, I made an A. He was willing to meet outside of class if I needed extra help. The homework is not for a grade, but so it!! Especially the practice questions he posts online, do well on those and you will do well on the tests.

Good guy. I give him credit for always being in a good mood even when our class was lame and never talked. He never got discouraged with us, I didn't look forward to going to class, but then again, it's math....take him!

Awesome Teacher, I was petrified of math when I started this class. Teacher was great at explaining things and will go over with you if you didn't understand. He made me laugh constantly, and I'm averaging an "A" now. Take this class, but you will have to apply yourself.

AMAZING teacher!!!! He tries so hard to relate to you and help apply things involving the math being taught in class to your life. He truly cares about your success and is passionate about what he does. He is the best math teacher I have ever had! :)

I took this class over the summer, which made it seem easier since it wasn't so spread out. He's a great professor to take since he's always in a positive mood and makes math fun. There's no textbook - all of the notes are online. His tests are easy as long as you read the notes.

Professor Endres is an amazing math teacher! I've always been horrible at math, but with his help, it was super easy! You have 3 tests, including a final and that's it. You don't use a textbook either. He has his own version of a textbook. If you need general math, definitely take him. I wish he taught more math classes!

Dr. Endres is very approachable and helpful. Many of my classmates found this course difficult, but it just takes a lot of work. For my class, there were only 3 exams. That means you have to be overly prepared to do well in the class. I always felt welcome to ask questions. It is possible to do very well in this class!

Professor Endres was amazing. He gives you his online book free. I hated math but after his class I respect it. He delivers lectures as clear as possible and always wants to make sure you understand. He also offers tutoring specific to his class. Show up and actually study and you will pass. Bonus there's no homework to turn in. Highly recommended.

Endres advised against me hiring a tutor and told me to come by his office during hours for help. He is so passionate about math and passing on his knowledge. Do the practice handouts and show up, and you should pass.

Mr. Endres was fantastic. I hate math but he teaches it in a way that I understand and even enjoy. The tests are exactly like the practice problems. I ended up with a 105 avg in the class and was exempt from the final. He is quite a character; I can't remember ever getting bored in his class. Would recommend him to anyone taking Math for Gen Ed.

I've always hated math and struggled with it my whole life. Mr. Endres will work with you as much as possible. If he sees you are willing to try he will help you as much as possible. Attendance is 10% of your grade and really helps you get those extra points. He teaches math in a way I've never seen. The test r exactly the same as the practice test

Great guy! Class is not easy, but not horrible. He is a good instructor. You HAVE to show up or you will not pass. He fails anyone who misses too many times, which he'll explain. If you do not have to take algebra, I highly recommend this class. Pay attention.

I'm so used to failing Math, but with Dr. Endres as my professor, I always was at the top of the class!! I aced my first exam and got high A's on the rest of them!! best professor i've ever had. he's so layback yet extremely passionate about math. im not a math person at all but professor endres made me look forward to his class every time. no homework, no quizzes, tests are basically the practice problems. attendance is a grade though. he made his own textbook and he puts a pdf of it for free.

Dr. Endres makes math class feel nothing like math. He has written his own textbook for the class. I would recommend getting it. He is very silly and sometimes I dont understand how he is a real teacher. But a very nice guy. He knows the material and can answer questions. He will help you out if you need it. If you take GenEd, take it with him.

I'm not normally good at math but professor Endres made this class enjoyable and easy. Attendance is worth 15% of your grade so make sure you go to class and get those easy points. As long as you study for the tests and show up then you will be fine.

He made me actually enjoy learning math and I still miss the guy. Passed the class with over a 100 but you must study the material, even if you are horrible at math (as I am) you can succeed here if you apply yourself!

A great class to take if you are not good at math. Learn about logical math and different mathematician. Make sure you take notes and write down the star bullet points. Other than that, just make sure you do the practice quizzes and you pass your HW quiz. He is also really chill, relaxed, and tries to make the class laugh.

The weekly quizzes aren't worth much but his great attitude and amazing personality are worth more than anything. Be prepared for the tests, they are worth a lot.
