Professor Friedman was always very helpful and always responded to emails and discussions quickly and posted grades right away. I found the course format and textbook were well thought out and I was able to learn the concepts. I really liked the professors lecture videos that I could watch on my own schedule. Overall it was a great course.

Professor Bowman was great. He had an online lecture that added to the QB information instead of just reciting it. There was weekly reading with a follow-along QB assignment, homework in QB, and quizzes to accompany them. There were a couple midterms and a final that were exactly like the homework. His class is well-organized and well-thought-out.

Mr. Friedman makes accounting make sense with his lectures by explaining concepts in simple terms and explaining the harder ones clearly. This is the second course I took with him and I enjoyed both!

This class is set up for you to pass and not fail. On homework assignments you are given multiple tries until you get the right answer.

Professor Friedman is one of the best accounting professors I have had. His lectures are easy to understand and he makes everything easier for you. I am a hands-on learner and distance education isn't really my thing but he breaks everything perfectly so you're not scrambling when doing the exam or homework.

I actually took him for V01B - he stepped up when all other courses were full. He goes over and beyond. He provided lecture material from V01A when I told him my previous professor wasn't so great. All his lectures were phenomenal and supplemented the textbook perfectly. Light on discussions and used Wiley PLUS for homework. Great sense of humor

Prof. Friedman sets you up for success. He provides great video lectures and makes it very easy to understand the material. I appreciate his sense of humor especially toward the end of the semester when the lessons got a bit more dense. He uses WileyPlus for homework/tests which made things so much easier! Highly recommend taking this class.

The class is online and all the tools are given to you to be successful. There are lots of videos walk throughs, which I loved because you can read about numbers and then see it in practice. Also although learning about accounting can be boring the teacher does his best to keep you interested with humor.

I actually took Managerial Accounting (V01B) which wasn't a choice on the drop down... but I have to say Mr. Friedman was a great instructor to take my least liked class from. The material is dry - nothing can really be done about that. But he is accessible, clear, and thorough with his lectures.

I have taken this professors classes twice and I love how it's easy to understand the lectures in this class, with pictures and details of every subject that is presented. There is a lot of reading in the textbook but as long as it's like a daily routine it makes it easier to understand!

His lectures alone provide you with just about everything you need to know to be successful in this course. It's clear he cares about his students and is very open to helping anyone.

I took Professor Friedman's Financial Accounting class, and I'm actually scheduled to take his Managerial Accounting class as well. I really enjoyed his teaching style. All assignments are well organized and easy to follow. Lectures are great, and the following practice exercises help A LOT, with homework and exams. Highly recommend!

Took course during summer so this was a fast paced course; however, professor Friedman uploaded video lectures that help guide you through what can be a difficult course if you are not an accountant. If you watch the lectures, and read the textbook and stay either ahead and or do your work on time this will be a doable course for a non-accountant.

I appreciate how clearly he communicates lectures cover what is important and relevant. Lectures are times appropriately & do not drag on. The work is challenging. It may come easy to some but if it does not come easy like in my case, if you take the time to watch the lectures and the helpful videos he sets you up for success.

His lectures were essentially just the pictures and word for word from the textbooks, so it can be difficult if you are the kind of person who needs it to be rephrased a few times to understand. However, he's really accessible outside of class and makes up for it if needed. The tests are really not the same as what was taught in class/on homework!

Professor Friedman's 8-week ACCT V01A class was very well structured considering he took material that is usually for a 16-week course and condensed it. With that, we did about 2-3 chapters a week so be prepared. Time management is a must. He is a very understanding professor and answered all the questions I asked him via email.

Professor Friedman's lectures were very informative and structures very thoroughly. Time management is 100% needed to take this course, however, it is very doable if you pay attention to the lectures and use the homework walkthrough videos to your advantage! He is very understanding and wants the best for us!

Accounting is not my point of study and the material itself was honestly pretty difficult for me, however his positive attitude and jokes made the class much more bearable. I just finish taking the 12 weeks course for fall 2023. I find his class to be great and clear. If you are taking his 12 weeks course then I would recommend that you be prepared to spend at least 6 hours a week. Due to having 2 chapter due almost every week. Other then that the class was great and with the help of tutoring made it even better.

I was in his online course and I loved it. It's easy to follow along with what he does and the unlimited attempts for the review questions help ease a lot of stress. The homework can be a bit time-consuming but that's just accounting in general. Highly recommend! Super funny as well!

I highly recommend taking Mr. Friedman as even though it is a online course is lecture videos are thorough. Depending on how fast you work there is not that much homework and the tests are fair. Not to mention he makes teaching accounting much more, as you will see how silly he is sometimes in his videos. I would 100% take Mr. Friedman again!

I took financial and managerial accounting with Professor Friedman and both classes were quite enjoyable. The workload was reasonable considering that the courses I took with him were 8-week courses. Whenever I had a question on the homework, he would respond in less than 24 hours to help. I highly recommend him as a professor!

The professor is great at his lectures. In this course he incorporated some lectures from the book but I absolutely think his are better. He is good at going through the examples and always offers for us to reach out to him for help. I have taken another class with him in the past and have loved the way lectures. Although his grading is hard.

This is the second class I take from this professor and although the subjects are hard his video lectures help a lot. He gives examples to guide you through the problems and encourages to reach out to him with any questions. There is also a class discussion in which the students are welcomed to ask any questions. Grading is updated regularly.

This was my second online class that I have taken from this professor! I took 8 week courses so the material load was more. But if you keep up with the materials you shouldn't have much issue, his video lectures really helpful especially with his assignments that went with them.

I got to take his class online and I enjoyed it. All of the homework and exercises are so easy to do. He doesn't take off any points if an assignment is turned in late. Just don't fall behind because it can be hard to catch up especially if you are taking multiple classes at the same time.

I found Professor Friedman to be an excellent teacher. He provided all necessary materials, and the workload was reasonable. Although not my strong suit, I took this class for my Business Degree. I plan to take his classes again as he is attentive, caring, and responsive. Doing your work is key to success. I haven't received my final grade yet.

Professor Friedman's course requirements are clearly stated and easy to follow along with. His lectures are extremely valuable and entertaining. His Financial Accounting class is not difficult if you took intro to Accounting. Basically all the same topics just more in-depth. If you don't understand a concept he has super in-depth lectures and links all sorts of resources. Overall great professor and class.

I enjoyed Financial Accounting online with Professor Friedman. I took the 8 week fall course this semester. You do need to purchase willy+, but this is the case for most of the accounting classes. Good combination of material, but I probably spent about 20 hours a week on just this course. Ill prob. take him for Managerial accounting as well.

His online class has lecture videos that help greatly to understanding accounting concepts and formats. Also offers resources and tools that make the classwork able to be self taught. I also had a very challenging semester in my personal life and the professor was willing to work with me and adjust deadlines due to my personal circumstances.

My last accounting class was terrible (online+no lectures besides slides), this professor's lectures are what got me to understand accounting a bit better! i took notes on every lecture and passed the exams by doing so but overall the better of the picks because the subject alone is difficult no matter who its with.
