he is so so funny once u get to know him. he makes the class fun and wakes you up in the morning.im a freshman this is the second time i took him and he was so so nice to me and the other students.plus he gave us donuts and water. everyone take him plz.

Meaders is a great professor! Though his class is easy as hell, you still learn. He makes the class interesting with his outrageous comments. Some people get offended but i think he does to make students openminded and be able to defend their beliefs

Do not take him if you are a close-minded conservative...he will drive you nuts with his liberal views. Great guy, great professor clear examples. Not really a Western Civ class though... more of a Black History class... extremely interesting and funny.

MEADERS is great! i had him 2 years ago and when he sees me on campus he still remembers my name and says hi! his class was very easy but enjoyable to anyone open minded! will always be there for you and only wants the best for his students! :)

genius of a professor, see's history as most people do, boring and overly studied. He manages to bring light to what matters, trust me, i average a 3.6 GPA without taking him, he is a good professor, worth taking!

One of the best professors at WPU. Straight fowward. Does not give you the run around. Although he lost my final paper that was a piec of cake, He worked with me and gave me a B+ in the class (he averaged my test scores only).

you fools..you learn the most from him. He gets his teaching done and you dont even realize. For shame, if you only knew how much work and effort he put in. I worked for my A and maybe thats why he respects me and put me in for the history honor thing.

guy is really intelligent, class is pretty easy, informative, and very fun.... but doc is VERY UNORGANIZED & isn't that great at presenting his material at times... his office is an absolute mess lol

He's totally laid back and chill. doesn't care when you turn in assignments. you learn about some crazy stuff that happened in NJ too.

Doc Meaders is a humorous and entertaining professor. He knows his stuff, particularly American colonialism. He is a bit unorthodox and the class is unstructured, but don't freak out! Just do your reading, pay attention, write everything down in class and you'll get your A!

Yes he is disorganized but he has good heart and interest in you learning/passing. He tries to ease it for all. There are some students that have learning disabilities that attend his class and he has to keep it simple for their sake. Its up to you to learn and if you feel you did not learn then perhaps you should have opened the book and read.

What can I say? The class is a COMPLETE joke, but somehow I learned from it. He is actually a very caring professor when you talk to him, he doesn't beat around the bush. Take him and get an A.

EASY class. fair amount of 1 pg papers. open book quizes. no midterm. prof loses everything, really messy guy but really nice, funny & caring.

Great professor! Very interesting. I learned alot in this class, we used newspaper articles alot . That was more interesting to me than using the textbook all the time. He gives lots of questions to finish.If you do the work , you will do fine.

The class was online, and his emails were a little cryptic to say the least. He is not punctual (the final was not posted until after the class was supposed to be over)or organized (some in the class got the grade "m" which had to be sorted out later).The class was easy and he cares, I contacted him and he was always nice and quick to respond.

Currently taking him this semester. He's extremely unclear in his e-mails, which he sends a lot of but all you need to do is the "rougly" 10 open book quizzes, which are VERY easy! Very helpful, very kind. My final exam is open-book take home! Greatly recommend him, extremely friendy!

I had Dr. Meaders' 8AM class & he canceled class a lot. Lots of quizzes, but they're open-book most of the time. The midterm & final contain questions from the quizzes so keep everything. His syllabus was really funny so you know he's a pretty easy-going guy & will try to make class enjoyable. Definitely take him!!

Prof Meaders was the bomb!! He may not have the best teaching methods but he is a lot of fun, his quizzes are open book most of the time, and he shortens class when he just doesn't want to be there. All in all I recommend taking his class

what a genuinely all around great guy. online classes are all about answering textbook related questions, and even though it doesn't sound like a lot of work, it is, but i learned SO much in his class!he's very passionate about History and will do everything he can to help you. great guy, TAKE HIM!! i wish he taught more history classes.

Great guy, funny. NOTE: sometimes uses profane language. Do the work assignments, simple as that. No term paper to write. Quizzes/tests are sometimes open book or take home, but not always. There is a midterm, the final is all inclusive. If you need help or are having problems academically, talk to Dr. Meaders- he will try to help you out.

I hate history !!! But after failing twice with two other hard professors, I passed with a B+ in Meaders class! he is easy!!! but if you want to learn anything in class forget it. And he is hilarious.

hes really not as bad as everyone says, yes he appears to be disorganized but everything does get back to you within a reasonable time hes funny interesting and easy. I'm a history major the guy knows what hes talking about

Professor Meaders is a nice professor. He will give you take home quiz, and close book quiz. Sometimes, he gives you open book quiz in class. He will tell you to take care your business. He will make you work, at the end of the day, it's worth it. Very nice professor, and he is funny. If you want to get a better GPA, I say, take his class.

Dr. Meaders is soo funny, great guy all around. His way of teaching is repetitive, he'll make you do questions on a book one week and then make you use those same questions on the tests; you do learn. If you want an easy grade for your GPA, I suggest take him. He's always around to help to.

I took his Western Civ winter course, and it was possibly the easiest class I've ever taken. There were around 12 assignments that were emailed to you with no due dates, no essays and one test-the final. Final was open book and short answers. At the end of the course you had to mail him your assignments. I would absolutely recommend him for winter.

I took Professor Meader for Winter session online. It was so much fun. NO DUE DATE!!!!! that is great for online. Do all the Homework and Assignment you will get Grade greater then C+...Take him...It is so cool.

He is a good professor, and he keep the class entertaining. He will give you take home exam, as well you need to read. If you do well in his exam, and participate in class, you can pass his class.

I took his class 2 times. One time I passed his class with a B, and another time I passed with a B. He knows what he is doing. He is funny. He give you open book test, and close book test. If you want to get a good grade, I say take his class. He is helpful. Trust Me.

Meaders is the man. Simple as that. Very unorganized, though. Assigns work but then won't collect it. Lot of take home tests and open book exams, let our class use or cell phones and laptops during our first test. Should be a crime how easy this course is. Highly suggest taking him.

Meaders is the easiest teacher you will ever take. yes he miss places your work but as long as you save it on your computer you will be good. attendance isn't mandatory. alot of take home test that are the same as the test in class. i never used the books. and still passed with a b+.

All tests are open book. Classes are about 30 minutes long then he lets you leave. Losses almost everyone's papers but then gives you an A if he cant find it. He is extremely funny, isnt very clear on assignments, watch movies during classes, maybe one or two assignments the whole semester. DEF TAKE HIM!
