excellent teacher.very knowledgable of material.tests mult choice,short answer,few essay.will get A if study.test straight from lecture not book.cracks jokes alot,makes research bearable.overall great and I highly recommend.young,good sense of humor and very down to earth.

Do *not* take anyone else for this course!! This guy rocks! My friends who have other professors & are getting killed by this class, but Dr. Philip makes everything as simple as possible! Tests are very easy. (too easy) Lectures are dry sometimes, but it's due to the content, not him.

I love Dr. Phillip. Not only is he EXTREMELY good looking but he is intelligent and funny...the perfect man! I would reccomend him for ANY class 100%!!!

Dan is the best teacher ever! He is so hilarious! He makes everything so interesting. He gives you a chance for like 30 bonus points. He goes over some questions the day before the test and if you are there you get 4 points! He is great and super cute! TAKE HIS CLASS!!!

Danny is the best teacher I've ever had! He is really funny, and his lectures are really good. He really knows the stuff. The exams are easy (but you need to go to class), and you can get a lot of extra credit (like 30 pt I guess). Lectures are the coolest!

His class was very interesting. He explains everything clearly and his tests are from the notes. He is very fair and wants you to do well in his course. Show up and take notes and you'll get an A.

This was my first college class and he really helped me get used to taking notes and listening to lectures. He explains things so well. Take him!!!!!

An awesome class to take, its easy and is a little interesting, just read the chapters and all of his questions will be easy, i suggest highlighting what he goes over in class and you should ace his tests, plus lots of extra credit opportunities.

I LOVE DR.DAN PHILIP! He was my first college teacher and I did really well in his class. He explains everything and he is sooooo funny. He gives a lot of extra credit opportunities. Test material comes right from notes! You are an idiot if you don't take his class.

He is extremely funny!! His classes are never boring I think that I want to take another one of his classes. I highly recommend!! Just study before the tests.

I liked this class...he actually got me interested..As long as you follow his good notes and read the book alright...You're fine...do an extra credit at least!

Dr. D is the best. He is my favorite psychology professor. If he taught ever class I would take him. He uses examples for everything which makes it way easier to learn. The class consists of 3 exams, four journal articles, and one paper. Almost everyone gets an A. P.S. Don't buy the book because he doesn't use it.Also,forthe Lab don't buy the book.

Dr. Dan is the most fun & interesting prof-NO CONTEST! I dreaded this research class, but he made it interesting and very clear with his funny examples! He is laid back & easy going, but very professional. I recommend him for anything he teaches! He takes a dull subject and makes it (dare I say)..almost..fun! You'll regret it if you don't take him!

He is awesome. He made the class interesting and he's funny. You don't need the book and if you take his notes and study them you'll do fine!

Dr. Philip is one of the best psych teachers I've ever had. He's easy to relate to and makes anything fun and interesting. Tests are easy as long as you study. He can take a while to grade papers, but otherwise he's fantastic! And very cute :-)

Dan is really laid back and an excellent teacher. He made even boring Research Methods bearable. My only complaints are that he doesn't return work promptly and a couple times cancelled class after beginning it (i.e. I drove all the way to school for nothing)

Dr. D is the BEST psychology teacher at this University. I higly suggest taking him for all the classes he teachers. Do not buy any of the books for his classes because he doesn't use them. And so what if he takes a long time grading

No need for the book, he is very clear on the notes that he posts on blackboard and follows them in lecture. Tests are from lecture, so it's best to go to class.. very helpful and halarious prof, makes it so much fun! Would recommend to anyone, and would take him again for any class.

Awesome teacher!! I dreaded this class and put it off for so long but he explained things so well and his grading was very fair. Lots of extra credit ops. Can't wait to take more classes with him!!

He was a great teacher, he tried to make a very boring class a little more interesting! i took him over summer and he cut out a lot of work that he makes u do in a regular semester!

Had him for research methods. One of my favorite teachers at UNF. Laid back and funny. He's young and understands what it's llike to be a student. He will always work with you and let you turn in work late. It serves you well to attend class, but he doesn't take attendance.

Took'm for Intro.to Psyc. Gives easy four 50MCQ type exams each=100pts. 3chp/exam.Final is optional. If u do it u can make up for any exam u bombed. If u do bad on it, doesn’t count against u! Overall its a guaranteed A. He's very friendly,helpful &clear at lec.Cool too! Honestly,I'm not sucking up to him. If u don't believe me, try him out urself!

I had him for soc. psy. this guy is very cool and laid back. read the chapters before the test and memorize key terms, guaranteed a. he drops a test grade and you have at least 40pts of extra credit you can earn. final is optional if you do well enough on previous test.

take his slides to class and he will give you the information. Otherwise read chapters with slides. Lots of extra credit. Cool guy and easy to talk to i fyou need help.

Dr. Philip made even the boring parts of Psychology interesting, and made class always enjoyable to go to. His lectures are entertaining, tests are all multiple choice and a good difficulty, provides extra credit opportunities, and is one of those teachers who is good enough that he doesn't have to require attendance to get students to go to class.

Awesome professor! Very funny in lectures and makes the info very fun! Uses hilarious examples in class and goes with the book, but you don't need it unless you decide not to come to class. Attendance is not required either. All tests multiple choice and you should definitely take him if you can!

easy, fun, and great class. hes very interesting lectures off of powerpoint which he puts on blackboard. do not need to go to class. teaches directly from book so if you miss a day just read. reading the book helps alot. first test i didnt read i got a C, then the next tests i read and i got A's.

He is so funny! I really enjoyed going to this class! He is so interesting and relates the material well to the students. You don't have to go to class, but it does help some on the tests! He offers extra credit too! You don't need to buy the book if you plan on going to class!

One of the best psych profs at UNF. Seminar was easy of course. One group project and a vita/resume is due. He's very thorough in explaining what is needed to succeed in the world of psychology, though, and has a lot of personal experience to offer. Fabulous teacher. I've taken him twice and will again in the future. Take him!!

He is the best of the best. As easy as he may seem, go to class once in a while. I messed up in grades, extra credit, and test for party and useless activities but deep inside I know I deseverved to do poor and mess up. I still got a c+. He is the man in every way, helpful and a true gentleman. What every proffesor should be like.

i had him for social psy. he is a wonderful teacher and makes things intresting, and give great examples! only advice i can give is GO TO CLASS!! i didnt get the book and went to class everyday and studyed what he went over and recieved an a in the calss. he is a really nice guy, and knows his stuff! you will learn a lot w/o even trying

He's a great guy. He makes everything interesting and easy to understand. Very funny. He doesn't take attendance, but he makes the material interesting enough that you will like going. And he's really cute!

Great professor, would recommend to anyone. Friendly and helpful, funny in class and generally pleasant to have as a professor. Unlike some in his department he understands who pays his salary. Everyone should try to take a class with Danny.

Dr. Philip is terrific!!!Mainly uses powerpoint slides for the lecture. I never even opened my book. Very easy to pass, just show up and listen. I missed 1/3 of the classes and still pulled a B. Tests are mulitple choice and a breeze to do.

This is the best professor alive. Young enough to relate to his students but old enough to inform. Great experience all around. Gives loads of extra credit and doesn't require attendance but I would recommend it as class is never dull. I just wish we had more like him. Highly recommended.

Dr. Philip has got to be known as the easiest professor at UNF. I've taken him for Social and Abnormal Psych, and got A's in both without studying or even buying the textbooks. Social Psych was merely a review of terminology and research from other psych classes, I wouldn't bother taking it unless required. Or if you want an easy A of course.

THIS GUYS IS GREAT!!! SO DAMN EASY!!! HAS POWERPOINTS!! JUST PRINT THEM OUT AND COME TO CLASS! MIGHT NEED THE BOOK! THE OTHER GUY TEACHING THIS CLASS RICHARD IS NO GOOD I HAD HIM AND BOMBED AND HAD TO DROP IT BUT THIS GUY MAKES IT EASY AND HARD TO FAIL!!

Got an easy A in the class. has you do 8 assignments that are all due the last day of class. all you have to do is put effort into it. it was summer so we only had 3 test. he drops the lowest 100 points so yes that means you don't have to take one of the test. if you do well on the first two, one less final is always better! :D HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Absolutely loved him. As long as you show up to class and read over the powerpoint then an A should be no problem! Would take his class over and over again!

He is a wonderful teacher. The class comes off easy and is if you do the simple assignments. He is not a pushover though so be warned all of you who want someone like that.

He was a great teacher. He offers tons of extra credit and is definetly worth taking. It's an easy A. Attendance isn't mandatory but you might want to go to review. I went almost everyday. He does take his time on the material though.if someone asks a question he answers them fully, which is a drawback because there was a student that asked ?s ALOT

Very easy. Lectures are directly out of the book. Gives a great deal of extra credit. Attendance is not mandatory, but go on review days (that's one of the ways to get extra credit). He's also pretty funny and is willing to help you.

He is a cool teacher. He uses power points for notes. Make sure you have a copy to be able to fill in the blanks from lecture. He goes pretty fast but also gives detailed examples. He is fun and his test are easy if you know the matterial. He even throws in a question that will throw you for a loop but also have you laughing.

Dan Philip rocks my socks off! He is intelligent, funny, incredibly helpful, and full of insight. I plan on taking every course he teaches.

Very easy teacher. His power points are an easy way to study by but if you read the chapter and think of the possible questions he could ask you will past his tests easily. He also offers tons of extra credit. He is also more than willing to answer any questions you may have. Great time in his class. :-D

The class was OK. He lectures off Powerpoint, but you can print the slides and take notes (very helpful) If you study and take notes then the tests aren't bad. He is a cool, funny guy.

This was a pretty easy class. He was really nice and offered extra credit work. The class is pretty boring though. Definitely drink coffee before going. To get a good grade on the test you HAVE to read the book really well and study all his powerpoints. Everything he goes over is on the test!

I've taken him for into to psych and research methods now. Easy classes. You get the outline and then he talks about each subject, its ok to just read the book version and use that on the test. He is very helpful and has a lot of extra credit options but you won't need it.

He's a really, really nice guy. He is very good at explaining things clearly. However, only take if you want an easy A and do not know how to read. He reiterates everything from the textbook. His classes are really not challenging at all. If you want an easy (but entertaining) way out, I guess take him. If you really want to learn, don't.

Fantastic Professor. Knows his stuff and makes it understandable. Provides plenty of opportunities so that you can get an A if you are willing to work for it. One of the best!

This seminar was very informative and easy to pass. A few homework assignments and some class time and you're done.

Dr. Philip was a great teacher, and this class was especially easy. As long as you attend lecture and complete the out of class assignments, you pass. There were no test requirements, and lectures were never boring, even though the information is very repetitive at times.

I took him for History of Psych and he was great! Classes were really organized and he's interesting to listen to as well. Tests were exactly from powerpoint. Great teacher!

Dr. Dan shows his passion for this class. His lectures are pretty staight forward. His uses academic words. I had to look them up from time to time. Test are easy. One paper at the eand. Great guy!

History of Psych. 3 Exams from the book and lectures. You must attend to get the lectures or you miss more than half the test. Weekly short psych readings and opinion based papers due. One big term paper. Lots of extra credit. You can tell he loves the subjects he teaches. Very helpful instructor!
